Best dentist I have ever been to in my 66 years. Staff is great too very nice and professional

I highly recommend this dentist! All of the staff here are so friendly. My tooth pain was misdiagnosed for a fracture by a different dentist and that dentist said there was nothing they could do during COVID. My pain continued so I reached out to True Design. They said they would get me in ASAP. Turns out it wasn’t a fracture but a filling infection. They took care of me right away. This place treated me so wonderfully and I trust them fully!

I have been going to True Design for about 7 years and have never had a bad experience. I recently blanked on my appointment even though they had reminded me several times. They were super patient and helpful to get me in as soon as possible. Highly recommend this family business for top notch dental care!

It has been nine months since I had over $10,000 worth of work done and I have nothing but praise for this dental office my teeth could not have come out better I am extremely happy with the way they look and feel the office is very friendly and professional I feel like I made friends with the dentists and all the girls that work there the hygienists are very capable and friendly the girl that took care of my insurance was an expert at dealing with the insurance companies and getting me The most for my money I would recommend True design Dentistry to anyone, Mitch

The whole staff is welcoming and helpful. From the time you call to make an appointment, all the way up through the final filling/cleaning/etc. the entire office is courteous and professional. Can’t recommend Dr. Jenny, Audrey, Claudette, and Rosa enough!

Best dentist Ive ever been to hands down. He takes his time, never feels rush and he truly cares for your comfort. No pain both during and post major work (in my case several extractions and implants). They also have an amazing team of admin and dental assistants, particularly Karina and Rosa. Anytime I call with a question or concern, they take their time to explain everything and always make me feel better. Highly recommend.

This office is an incredible find! I was in need of a dental implants for two missing teeth that have been haunting me the past few years and I came in for a consultation and was so pleased! Dr. Refahi is an incredible dentist who doesnt settle for anything less than perfect. Hes the only Dr who really took time to sit with me and explain the entire process. The staff is very friendly and equally informative. The consultation was so thorough so, I decided to move forward. I just finished my treatment with them and I love how they do all the steps of the treatment in office. They dont ever have to refer out for anything which is a major convenience. I love that I can chew without any more missing teeth now and they look perfect. I cant even tell theyre implants. Highly recommended!!!! Cant thank them enough.

Highly Recommended San Diego Dentist! The staff at Sunny Smiles Dental Associates is just awesome. They go out of their way to help you and genuinely care about their patients. The most recent visit I was scheduled for dental implants and obviously its not something to be excited about but everyone their makes it as fun and fast as possible. And the outcome is always perfect. Dr. Nick and all of the staff have been wonderful to my family and I. Ive been with them for years now since they were at old location. They consistently provide excellent dental work and amazing customer service. I feel like I can testify to the quality of the work because between my wife and I, weve had quite a bit of work done this past year. My wife had her dental veneers completed and I needed a front dental implant after I broke it in an unfortunate accident. My kids have been visiting for their routine dental work since they were little. We couldnt be happier and we have referred our friends and family. New location rocks guys. Keep up the good work :)

Been going here since 2011 when I moved to San Diego and now drive from LA to see them. They are exceptional and have given me the best dental care I’ve ever received received in my life. Dr. Refahi is a perfectionist and extremely thorough. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Nick at Sunny Smiles Dental has done an implant, fillings and my two front teeth for me. I will tell you that I have never seen a more qualified dentist. The perfect work on my front teeth (a cap and a veneer) looks so natural and great that no one would ever know they were not my natural teeth. My initial visits were relaxed, where Dr. Nick took his time to fully explain the whole process. This man is a perfectionist and Im sure glad I found him. I highly recommend Dr. Nick. Do yourself a favor and have the smile you hoped for.

I love my dentist! The staff and quality of work is top notch. Im always made to feel welcome when I come in by everyone. Highly recommended for people who are nervous about seeing a dentist. Especially if you havent been to one in a long time.

One week ago, I went to Sunny Smiles to have dental implants to replace two badly broken molars. I also had a failed crown (done by another dentist), and the nerves had to be removed. The office staff is very friendly and welcoming. They will answer all of your questions. Dr. Nick knows how to place local anesthesia, so I felt no pain, None!! I took a 800 Ibuprofen and used cold packs to reduce inflammation. The surgical area is healing well!! As a retired medical professional, I highly recommend this practice. Thanks Sunny Smiles!

I was visiting San DIego and had a crown come off. They got me in 15 minutes after I called! Corina, Sara and Dr. Nick were so friendly, professional and attended to all of the details and my vacation was back on! Thanks a million!

I rarely write reviews but this was the best experience and deserved to be recognized. I strongly dislike any work involving my teeth. The thought makes me anxious. From the minute I walked into this office for a consultation I was put at ease. Dr. Refahi spoke to me with conviction that my dental implant would be a smooth process, and it was!! They got me in and out of surgery in an hour and sent me home well prepared for recovery. Dr. Refahi also called me that evening to make sure I was well. I am 4 days out of surgery have minimal pain. No complications. I have been putting this surgery off for years and quite frankly Im glad I did or else I would not have found such a great doctor.

From the moment we walked in the door until we left after the appointment, it was clear that every employee genuinely enjoyed working there, and went out of their way to give us a positive experience.

Dont go here. My son was assigned this dentist from the HMA. WE went for a checkup and cleaning and was told he had 6 cavities, many not covered by the insurance becasue of teh type of filling needed. This seemed really strange so I spent my own money to go to his old dentist and thier was 1 cavity in a baby tooth which was due to fall out in 3 to 6 month. Imagine a child having 5 unneccasary fillings in permanent teeth
