I have been seeing Dr McClanahan for the past year and a half and have no complaints. I have a phobia of going to the dentist but with sedation dentistry I am totally comfortable. He is a great dentist. His work is professional and he personally telephones me to follow up the day following my appointment. My experience with him and his staff has been very pleasant. The office and dental suites are sparkling clean. My cousin and her husband recommended Dr McClanahan, he’s been there dentist for many years now. I’m glad I took their suggestion.

I recently saw a dentist in my neighborhood and was left feeling skeptical. The fee schedule seemed extremely high and work he said was needed for my Husband and I just didnt sit well with me.A co-worker referred me to Dr. McClanahan. She said he is the absolute best and she would never go anywhere else. I now see why she is so loyal.Dr. McClanahan and all the staff I met were great. I arrived not knowing what work I needed. (I had a feeling what the previous dentist said I needed wasnt actually the case) He looked at each tooth and came up with a treatment plan that fit my budget and worked within the scope of my dental insurance.I chose laughing gas instead of complete sedation. It helped me feel calm and relaxed and I was able to put complete trust in Dr. McClanahan and his assistant. I had 5 amalgam fillings removed and replaced with composite. It was less painful (and scary) than I thought it would be. The following week I was still having some pain and they fit me on their schedule right away to take care of the problem. (my bite was off - no big deal and it was corrected within a half hour)If you are looking for a gentle Dentist with a caring nature, friendly staff and reasonable prices - look no further than Dr. McClanahan. Youll be glad you did! Much like my co-worker, I will never go anywhere else for my Dentistry needs.

Dr. McClanahan has done significant work on my mouth. I have always had extreme dental anxiety. Dr. McClanahan and his staff have made me feel so comfortable and check-in on all of my concerns. My smile hasnt looked so good in years. My mouth hasnt felt this good in years. Thank you to Dr. McClanahan and all his staff. You are worth every penny! Im glad I have a place I know does honest work and is trustworthy.

Great Dentist and Staff. Dr. McClanahan is my dentist, but Dr. Decker will jump in if needed. They do great work, are honest, friendly, and will work with you and your insurance company. Im no dental expert, but I know enough to tell you that Dr. McClanahan does quality work and stands by it 100%. If something is bothering me, he will fix it. If a filling cracks that he put in, he fixes it. The staff is great too, always ready to answer your questions... and I ask a lot of questions. I hope the Dr. doesnt retire too soon, because I dont look forward to finding another dentist that I can trust. I would and do recommend them to everyone.

Always well treated in this office from the receptionist to the dentist. Everyone is friendly and very attentive. They say pain free and they mean it! I have never had to wait anymore than a few moments in the waiting room. I am also well informed about my care and plans for my future care. I would never switch.

Ive never had a dentist that I can honestly say Ive liked until now. Dr. Decker provides excellent care and really takes the time to ensure you are a happy customer. The entire staff is welcoming and Im no longer anxious about seeing the dentist. I know Im always in good hands.

Dr. Decker! Hands down is the best honest dentist that I have ever been to. Im glad I finally found a dental office that I love and now my teeth will always be perfect thanks to him and his wonderful staff. The front office staff is just as awesome.😆

Bobbi is the best dental technician weve ever been to. Dr. Decker is terrific also. They both are good listeners, and they put me at ease, which is not always easy in a dental office. I have seen Dr. McClanahan also and he is also terrific. I highly recommend these people.

My daughter has always been terrified of the dentist and also snakes. She found Dr Decker while attending college in San Diego. Hes been her dentist since 2014. Believe me if she likes him and goes back I can assure you he is not only a great dentist but also is able to sedate her enough so she has no memory of the procedures, Shes since graduated SDSU and is living in San Fransisco she wont change dentist and makes the trip to San Diego to see Dr Decker.

I was very nervous coming in. However I felt relieved when both doctors remembered my mom and grandmother on a first name basis. It eased me a bit. Then I went in yesterday to have work done under sedation. I remember going into the dentist or leaving the denist, but I woke up this morning with a million dollar smile! I highly recommend this office!!

As always, the entire staff is friendly, courteous, professional, and very accommodating! My husband, myself, and our 2 children have been patients of this dental practice for approximately 14 years and have never had any problems or negative experiences with them. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Decker and his staff are professional, kind, and caring. I have been with Dr Decker for several years. My anxiety of going to the dentist has dropped dramatically. He is patient, kind, chatty- helps distract me during treatment. I never need to wait, they are able to get me in and out so I can get back to work. Best business find since moving back to San Diego.

What ever i say its not enough dr. Decker made to me sedation i felt i slept only for moments and when waked up no pain at all my teeth wonderful and his staff more than wonderful i advice every one need sedation go to Dr. Decker clinic

I have dental phobia and the staff and Dr McClanahan’s office are very kind and patient. I have had multiple great experiences with their conscious sedation resolving numerous dental issues for over a year and a half of services. Their prices are reasonable and extras that aren’t needed are not added on when you are on a budget. I’m very thankful to the entire staff and highly recommend.
