I was recommended Primo by a friend who had a good experience and I wish I could say the same about mine. I have a lot of alterations I want to do to my dress like adding straps, hemming train, overall fix the fitting, etc. Im aware this is an expensive and timely process so I went in for my consultation 8 month before my wedding date. When I told Muna all the things I wanted done she responded why didnt you buy a different dress. I was warned that she could be direct but I would say she past the point of direct and was belittling and out of line. Halfway through the consultation she said Im not even sure if I want to do it but then continued to talk about what she could do. I can respect if it was more work than she was willing to take on, but her poor customer service was shocking. Im disappointment because they have such great reviews but my experience did not match. I can not attest to the work she does, but after my experience I will not be returning to see.

I am beyond happy that I went to get my wedding dress altered at Primo Alterations. Muna and her team were THE best! They definitely made me feel amazing in my dress and gave this shy girl the confidence when I had it on. They really took their time to make sure everything was the way it needed to be, and mind you all in under 8 weeks. Yes, I planned my wedding in 8 weeks. Muna did an incredible job of altering my wifes wedding dress for our wedding. She took a poor fitting dress and made it look like it was constructed to fit her body perfectly. Muna altered her dress in record time and prepared the dress for us to travel for our out-of-state wedding. I would highly recommend Muna to others.

This is a long overdue review. I bought my wedding dress for a great price, but also several sizes too large. Primo Alterations did a beautiful job bringing the dress in to fit perfectly! Oh my gosh! Delayed review! But better late than never.I called around looking for someone who could adjust the neckline of my sweetheart wedding dress. The fit was okay except I just wanted move coverage on top. I went to 3 places total, and Primo Alterations was the only place that said they could help--the others just said it wasnt possible to add coverage. Wow. So I go back here and tell Muna what I needed for the top, as well as how I needed the bottom hemmed to accommodate how my dress would be painted on the bottom. Muna and her team were so helpful and the results came out perfect. The dress fit me like a glove, I was able to walk around without tripping, and the experience was pleasant. I would say that Primo is more expensive, but you honestly get what you pay for. You get quality work with experienced seamstresses. When it comes to wedding dresses, they will find a solution when others wont even bother. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for wedding dress alterations.

Mona and her team were absolutely fantastic. The quality of their work is truly impressive. I needed a bustle, hemming, and the bodice redone and they did an amazing job. They are not the cheapest, but you pay for what you get and I would have paid double for how amazing they made everything look. The team here did a fabulous job on my wedding dress! The bust was too large, and with all the lacework I was very worried about how it would turn out. It turned out perfectly!

I have a long dress with a beaded bodice that Id worn once to a wedding and unfortunately got a couple spots on the skirt during the cocktail hour before the dinner (pretty sure thats when). Took it here as a last ditch effort to get the spots off of the spot clean only dress. Dress came back great! I can wear it to another event. Happy Happy! Highly recommend this place.

Choosing Primo Alterations & Dry Cleaning as the place where we had our wedding garments steamed and prepped for our big day was definitely one of the best decisions my husband and I made. My husband and I live many states away from San Diego where our wedding took place. After doing some research on Google, I gave Primos a call and had the chance to talk to Muna. I explained to her my situation and she gave me all the info I needed. Once I arrived in San Diego the week of the wedding, we stopped by to drop off our garments. A couple days later, Muna called my husband and let him know there were a couple items to fix on the tux. We are so happy for the attention to detail and that they were able to return his tux better than when we left it. Picking up our garments a few days later was super smooth and one of the ladies even helped me load my dresses and tux in the car. When wedding day arrived and I placed my wedding dress on, something was a bit off and I decided to give Muna a call. We were able to go on FaceTime and I showed her what was going on with the dress. Muna and her husband happened to be at the store and she was able to grab some sewing materials and said she would meet at the hotel where I was doing my bridal party photos. The timing worked out SO perfectly because we both arrived around the same time. She fixed me up in NO time and I looked like an absolute bombshell. Im SO grateful to Muna for dropping everything to come by my side and ensure that I looked my absolute best for my wedding day. She truly went above and beyond. I had bought this dress 3 years ago for my first marriage.. long story short.. I ended up leaving the marriage because it was abusive and I had been cheated on.. everytime I looked at this dress I had bought and couldn’t wear I would cry.. so I tried to sellIt.. it didn’t work out.. so I decided to keep it with theHope that one day I’ll find someone worthy of myTime and love and hopefully I’ll still love the dress. Years go by and I find my true love, and the man of my dreams and we are engaged and I am back looking at this dress. It had been wrinkled and dirty from being in my closest for years and I really wanted to find an alterations shop and dry cleaning place that would care for my wedding dress as if it were their own. I googled and first one that popped up was Primo. I called and asked for pricing and they encouraged me to come and try on my dress. There were definitely alterations with my bustle to be fixed and she needed a good cleaning. Mona and her team were amazing. They cared for my opinion, for my dress, for bridesmaids. They cared and continued to put forth effort evening during the midst of Covid-19. Mona new the stress her brides were under during the pandemic and every time I called her she always asked how I was before even talking about the dress. Not only that she rented a beautiful vail for my dress for a great price when I had explained that I was financially struggling. I plan to alter my wedding dress to a shorter version so that I can continue to wear it for wedding anniversary’s to come and I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back to have Mona and her team work on my dress. Mona and her fantastic team completely reconstructed the gown I had purchased for my wedding. They had to sew up the side zipper, then create a corset back. This dress was gorgeous to start with, but when they were done, it was exactly my dream dress. I received so many compliments, not only on this gown, but also the dress I wore at the reception, which also required extensive altering. Amazing work, reasonable pricing, delivered on time. I brought Muna and her team a pretty sad off-the-rack wedding dress with very little lead-time before my wedding. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—MIRACLES. They perform miracles. They’re honest with you about your garment’s condition and whether it can be made to suit your body. In my case, they took apart my dress and rebuilt it, repairing damage and customizing it to my size and shape. I recommend Primo to anyone looking for alterations or cleaning. They won’t let you down!

Turned in military uniforms and a handful of designer dresses. Everything was returned in ideal condition. So glad to have found an eco dry cleaner on the west coast. Quite out of the way for us but definitely worth it. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

Got two of my jiu-jitsu gis patched up for a reasonable price. I dropped them off before class at 11am and got them the same day by 4pm. My patches werent finished patches so they had to do some extra work and did a magnificent job. She was extremely professional, knew 100% what she was talking about, how to place the patch exactly where it needed to be.
