This review is a year late but better late than never! He repaired a zipper on a vintage designer leather top without needing to replace the entire zipper so saved me the cost of entire zipper replacement! The top was ready the next day, excellent customer service and very knowledgeable and friendly :)

Don is extremely personable and provides EXCELLENT customer service. He altered a long coat for me and matched the seams exactly. He extended my pockets in a manner that is nearly unnoticeable unless you look closely. The attention to detail and quick turnaround time made this a wonderful experience.

Brought in a leather riding jacket to have zippers installed in the sleeves and remove wonky velcro straps. Came out better than Id dreamed, and he did a complete buff/condition/polish of the jacket as well. Highly recommend.

Dons Alterations repaired my work tool bag so quick and the quality of work was excellent. I wish Ive known about his business long time ago. It wouldve prevented me from purchasing tool bags after tool bags. If youre a Technician like me constantly unzipping your soft tool bag and having the zipper malfunction. I was interested in a mask with some custom alterations. I found Dons professional expertise, quality work and insight an answer to all my needs. So I have a friend that every so often entangle & dislodge his hearing aids while taking off his ear loop mask.Dons response was a loop less mask with a simple sliding knot tie off and a nose wire for a sure fit. Did I mention washable to boot??Its a quality mask construction designed for comfort, the use of materials for levels of filtration and extra pocket filter for extra protection.Don added in that he does full clothing alterations, fitting & repairs which is great since he is centrally located.Ive purchased a couple dozen masks of these for friends, family and myself.Don took on a very special project ... my 2 year old nephew that Im trying to get him to wear a mask. Don is the best! He is very attentive and knowledgeable in the alteration process. He custom fit a blazer that was a little too wide and the sleeves a little too long, it came out perfect. On top of that, his price for it was what I considered a fair price for the amount of work that was put in and compared to other tailors in San Diego. His turn around time was great. Definitely my tailor going forward.

Very quick and accurate service with Navy uniforms. GPS can have a hard time finding the place but a quick phone call solves that issue.

I needed to get my slacks altered for my cousins wedding less than a week away. I called Don & he gave me an appointment the same day.
