I had an okay experience renting from Car Rental Help Center. It wasnt the place I was planning on renting from, but Im very grateful for this place because they were able to get me a car on very short noticeAll of the staff members that I spoke with were friendly and helpful. A staff member graciously gave me a ride to and from the airport car rental center. And the car I rented was thoroughly cleaned before they handed me the keysThe car that I rented worked and looked just fine. But I did notice it had an incredibly high amount of miles compared to most other rental cars Ive gotten (136K miles, see photo). It also leaked oil whenever I parked it in a place for long periods of timeThe rates were competitive with other car rental services at the time of renting. $300/week and $60/day (higher than usual because of spring break)I had to give a $300 deposit for my rental. Unfortunately, I had some trouble getting this money back on my credit card after returning the car Thankfully, when I asked for a copy of my receipt, they sent it to me promptly. And when I pointed out that I never got my deposit back, they addressed and resolved it
Old unreliable cars. Very overpriced for the type of cars they give you. Our car had 134000 miles on it and was in poor driving condition.
Terrible, terrible, terrible! Car we rented had dry rotted tires and was banged up. The alignment was off and the car pulled to the left when driving. We drove it home the first night and it sat until work the following morning. On the freeway, a tire blew out and we nearly got into an accident. When I called to complain, the agent was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Will be filing with the BBB if this situation isnt handled properly.
I got a car rental with them back in February and I paid a 200 dollar deposit which I never gotten back I called them many times and asked to speak to their manger.. which “” he is never there””” horrible customer service and a rip off watch out they will steal your money

I had rented a car through another service, but when I arrived they did not have any vehicles available and I was referred to Car Rental Help Center as they had similar options available. I was told I would be getting a small SUV but got a car instead. I was in a rush so I did not contest it. The car also had just been use for another customer, 5 min before it was handed over to me and all they did was wipe it down with Clorox wipes. The car had a smokey smell to it as well and they only gave me a manual key, even though the car was newer and should of had an automatic key.
It was short notice, I had no Credit Card and CRHC really came thru. Car has some issues but I was able to get moving and I owe it these awesome guys.
Had to go into Mexico on a Biz Trip. Originally rented car from another company, realized I couldnt take it to Mexico due to Insurance Stuff. Reached out to CarRental Help Center. Helpful, friendly, and honest. The car I got was a bit higher mileage, but it was well maintained, and, well, if Im visiting factories doing my job I dont really care how new or old the car is. Definitely a Smaller Operation when compared to other Rental Places, but I will definitely use them again.
Rental process was smooth and easy so thats a plus. They said would be an pending authorization for renting a car. No problem, expected that. Checked my bank couple days later and it was charge not a pending authorization. When I called them said it would refund in 25 business days to covid 19. Thats like 45 days! What bs, Im sure they do that in hopes you forget about it. Dont rent from them unless you have an extra $300

I don’t know why all the bad reviews. This place was great. We flew into San Diego without a rental car reservation. Went to 3 counters at the airport and they were sold out or $315-$390. This place was only $216. We only waited about 5 minutes for them to pick us up. The driver was nice. The car was new with only 2200 miles. Clean inside. When we returned, the kid took us to the airport right away. Nice kid, respectful, etc. good experience.
They rent to 19-year-olds so that was a plus for me. The service was not terrible but it always takes a long time to get what you need, either to make a reservation or to drop off the car. Their car options are limited to sedans and minivans. The cars are all used, have a fair amount of dings and scratches on them. The one I rented was slightly misaligned so the steering wheel was always turned a bit. They get you with lots of fees, so watch out. The prices in general are pretty steep.I would not use this service again; I only used it because I am 19 and I couldn’t find another place that would rent to me. The fact that they’re small and they’re not a chain would worry me because if I have a complaint there’s no larger organization that I could settle it with. I think that’s why they can get away with all their fees.
I rent the car from this small Car Rental company on March 04-14. They charged my credit card $45 for Toll Road in which normally cost not more than $10. I told to the customer service who served me when I returned the car that I passed the toll road ... they said we will notify you when they receive the bill. I was waiting for their call .... they never call instead they just charged my credit card without telling me. I think they just take this dishonest business practices to get more money from customer. They will not get my business again. BE CAREFUL ......Update:On May 4th I received toll road violation bill. They charged me $45 for paying the toll road plus all bogus administration fees that is very expensive. They did not explain the rental agreement clearly, with purpose to get $45 from customer. It is mentioned ALL PARKING VIOLATIONS not the TOLL-ROAD. THIS IS REALLY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES WITH INTENT .... NO WONDER THIS COMPANY HAS D BBB-RATING.May 6th, The manager called me after spending 30 minutes talking to him, he finally agreed to refund the $45 because in rental agreement says that the search fee of $45 for all parking violation but not toll road. I am glad I can point out their mislead wording in the agreement.
Beware that they DO NOT disclose that, if you are renting on Saturdays and Sundays, you will find the offices closed and on your own to drive yourself to the airport.
Quick and affordable
This guy quotes me at 250, drives me to his little car rental hut just so he can try the ol’ Bait and switch. Now, suddenly, the price is 310. Now the price is a 250$ of customer walking out the door, with an additional 250$ that I won’t be spending here when I return. Imagine how much more it’s gonna be when people read about this. This place is a scam and the people who work her are nothing but thieves.

2 months later and I get a 45$ charge from them which shows as a manually entered charge ? What can this possibly be. Even though they might have cheaper prices it’s really not worth going through a smaller company.

Slow service. Was given a broken vehicle and had to drive back to replace it. Than given a second damaged vehicle. Felt very unsafe to drive on roads. Would never recommend.
0 stars. Save yourself a headache, money, and a car insurance claim. My wife and I had an early flight to catch and dropped the car off where they told us to before hours. When we got back home they called and said there was damage and charged us a lot of money for something that was clearly done themselves. Do not trust them, do not give them business, and spare yourself from a corrupt company.
Thankfully all of the financial details were straight, earning a 2nd star!However, we were off-sold here from Fox - we had to wait 40 minutes just to be helped, while there were only 2 people in line in front of us. After I was then told to wait out front for my car, I waited another 30 minutes while the employee alternated between vacuuming my car and leaving to work on something else. The car itself had scratches all over, a broken bumper, and awful transmission.
