Best car wash in SD. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They hand dry each car instead of making you do it, this service appears to be included with all levels of service. They let me run thru twice since my car was super dirty, no extra charge. Vacuums provided, great spot!

I had a great experience at the local! I live relatively close so I stopped by first this in the morning. Service was quick and the dry down of the vehicle by staff was great I used the free vacuums no issues at all. The auto wash itself was fantastic and my car is shining!!

I was on my way to a date and had parked under a tree the night b4. I dont have to tell you what the birds did to my car. Found this place last minute on Google maps. It was a gamble that paid off. They let you ride through in your car. That seems small but some places dont and its a big deal when your on the go with limited time. They wipe your car down for you at no extra cost which I love. Totally prevents water spots. They also supply unlimited vacuuming hoses for free. I didnt use one but I completely appreciate the convenience of it. My car was bird poo free and I was happy 😁

This is my favorite carwash in town. Good service, slightly pricy though. Machine wash does good, employees do a great job hand drying. Free vacuums. Theyre one of those businesses that doesnt accept cash though which really bothers me personally. Thats why only 3 stars. Other than that, best place to get a quick car wash in town.

Great service at an affordable price. The staff seem motivated and work hard to keep everything moving. They also hand towel dry the exterior of your car after the blower which is a nice touch compared to most drive through car washes in this price range. Everything is always impeccable maintained.

They need to dry alittle better! With 4 people drying all at once there shouldnt be so many drips. I go at least once a week. But very friendly service with cashiers.

So much better than waiting for your car to dried by people in a hurry to get a tip. I like that I can vacuum my car to my satisfaction and wipe down areas others would usually miss. Only 4 stars because when its busy they can get a little pushy on how long you take.

Don’t use this car was!!!! They have now damaged both my wife’s suv and my full size truck in the last 3 months. When we asked them about there damage policy they have zero accountability for damages caused. There are plenty of good cars around town just not this one. Never use this place!!!

Prices went up a little, but the results are usually one of the best for those quick clean type places. They even had me go back through once when they thought it didnt do a good enough job...no charge. Great folks.

DON’T USE WASHMAN CAR WASH!!! I have 3 cars that I take to Washman weekly and have for the past 3 years. I have been a regular happy customer until today (August 9, 2020)! I was told that I could not dry the outside of my car because of social distancing and then I was told that I could take the drying cloths provided home and wash them myself and bring them back. This made no sense. So I said then I can use the drying cloths provided to dry the outside if I take them home and wash them myself and bring them back? He said no, I could not use the drying clothes to dry the outside of my car at all. So why then did he tell me I could bring the provided drying clothes home and wash them myself? He had no answer for me. He went on to say that due to social distancing, I could not dry the outside of my car. Well, if you have been to Washman Car Wash you know that the distance between cars and drying bays are well over 6 feet so again, his request for me to not dry the outside of my car was not validated. They have been very rude and difficult to work with for a few months now. DON’T USE THEM IF YOU WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

My favorite San Diego carwash... From $8-12 a wash, you drive through, they dry and wipe, you vacuum. The vacs are powerful and efficient, staff is friendly and helpful, add its a cheap way to get a thorough cleaning, remove sand and crumbs and other messes quickly.

New machines, fast and thorough. Vacuums are strong (and free). They even provide drying towels, which is a nice touch. COVID smart, too.

Pleased with this car wash, except for the guy with the attitude that does the dry down. His coworkers should know hes the reason I no longer tip, and the owners should know hes the reason Ill probably take my business elsewhere. Last time, he didnt dry his half of my car. There was a line down the center of my hood, half wiped, half unwiped. I keep hoping hell go away but so far, hes been there a while and just keeps getting worse.

We had a little problem with this place and it took forever to get their help to solve it. It was very frustrating.

Always the best car wash! I will go out of my way to go here. The staff is so nice and the car wash is top notch. The towel-dry at the end of the wash is what sets them apart from every other place. The areas with the vacuums for after your car is done are fully outfitted and my car always looks great afterwards.

They no longer offer towels for cleaning the interior of the car which makes this car wash no longer a good value. We switched to the one on Balboa and Genessee which does. Using Covid as an excuse to remove essential services for a car wash is quite disappointing.

Great carwash, they do a quick hand dry once you exit the wash. Powerful vacuums. I locked my keys in my car and they were able to help me out and open the door for me in about 3 minutes.

Super convenient location right off the 5 and quick service for a $8, $10, or $12 wash. If your car isn’t clean the first time around, they let you go again for free. Vacuums are free and there are free towels to use as well. Also offer more extensive detailing services at a cheaper rate than anywhere else I’ve inquired in town. Avoid Sundays as they are the busiest.

Washman is awesome! Not just an automatic car wash: it starts off with a couple guys that rinse the gunk off your car, then you drive through the automatic wash, and a crew of guys use pressurized air to get water out of your mirrors and then towel dry the stuff that the blowers don’t dry off. Quick, thorough, friendly, and fast! Not to mention it smells great and is fun to do! I’m adding it to my “must do” San Diego experiences! :-)

BEST carwash in SD. Our go to because its affordable, great service, quick and easy. $8, $10 or $12 single time option or monthly plans. We usually do $10 option. This is not a touch free but have never had an issue with scratches. Car wash takes a few min, a mix of manual service and machine. Guys spray down your car to start, then squeegee the car dry at the end. If your car isnt completely clean they will send you back through a second time free, and you get 5min free vacuum time. There are 2 vacuum pumps, one on each side of car so bring a passenger to help you make max use of the vacuum time. Love this place!!

Awesome place for such a great price! Staff is amazing too. I had some nasty spots on my car that I guess didn’t wanna come off. The staff was aware and told me before and after the wash. What made me appreciate them more was when one of the staff members, most likely a manager, said to go again free of charge since the spots hadn’t gone away. They made sure the car was spotless before I left. Awesome staff and service! Definitely coming back!

Nice fun car wash with a towel dry at the end. They do a good job of drying off your windows and mirrors after the wash. With vacuums with multiple hoses and microfiber towels, its really a treat to clean up your car here

I was in San Diego on vacation and went to Washman Car Wash to clean off my dirty rental car before I returned it. This place did an amazing job for the $12 I paid!! I run a car wash of my own back home and this place had everything. The car came out even cleaner than when I picked it up from the rental company and the vacuums were extremely powerful. The light show at night was so impressive as well!! I introduced myself to the night manager at the time and he was very friendly as we discussed car washing. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!

Washman doesnt stand by their damage policy. They refuse to pay for repairs done to original equipment on a four year old car. The customer service manager said prove it is our fault.

Washes are fast, service is friendly, and cleaning was detailed and made me feel like I had a new car again. Highly recommended!!

This was the best car wash I found while living in SD over a year and a half. It beats some of the hand car washes I’ve been to. I like that they do a quick hand towel dry at the end, the included self-vacuum and reasonable prices.

Like many other reviewers, my car was scratched at this facility. I showed the damage to employees, and I was told that it was not caused by their equipment. My car was less than a year old without any cosmetic damage. I know the damage was from their machines, and it was bitter sweet to see that other people had the same experience. Protect your car and go somewhere else!

Was well worth the little drive & time. Prices are affordable & within reason, but for once I drove out with a decent wash & hand dry!! Hand drying is HUGE & they dont use the same towels for ALL the cars.Free vacuuming is great, times are bit little & slow on weekends, but I understand due to demand.All in all, this place is on my list to get my car washed for now on in San Diego.

Best car wash Ive ever had. They let my car go a second time for free because it was still dirty. They have multiple people drying with cloth and free vacuums.

They charge to vacume your car. We traveled from Kansas where its 75 cents to vacume a car. You put the chance in and youre timed. We got off the highway and searched for coin slots before just assuming its free. We needed to clean our rental car. Guy walks up and gives us a hard time about it only being free to people who wash their car and ask if we wanted our car washed when we tell him no he tells us its $5.00. Wow!!!!! I could have got two car washes in Kansas for that price. We pay him and leave.

Ive Been waiting 5 months for a refund of monthly car wash plan after canceling. Was charged twice after canceling. Been given excuse after excuse. Telling me all sorts of BS like--because of the amount of the refund it was under more scrutiny because it was $60 and not $20. WTH. I lost my job in February. Cant bloody afford for them to string me along. Will never refer anyone here ever again.

Nice people but was dissatisfied with scratches to car from machines. At the end, I was told by an employee that its usually because theyre already there and that after a wash we can see them for the first time. This doesnt apply as this is my first machine wash with this car and otherwise for the past year (up until 2 weeks ago), Ive washed my car by hand, and never had any of these scratches.Wash by hand yourself, guys - machines will mess your car up.

False Advertising! Stopped by to quickly vacuum some dirt off the floor mats. I was immediately approached and told I needed to wash my car first. I explained that I just needed to clean my floor mat really quick and pointed to the sign on the top of the building stating ‘free vacuums’. The response came that I could only do that if I washed my car and that the vacuums were only free if you wash your car. I again pointed out their extremely large sign, explained I have used them before to wash my car and asked him to show me where it stated I had to get a wash. He could not provide me with any such written statement but demanded I get a wash. I refused to do so and left without a wash and vowed to never give my business to this place again.
