Needed to fix a self-trimmed beard snafu from the night before and had a work event later the next day. I was a walk-in on a Friday morning. It was perfect timing and they had an opening. Rick helped me out w a great haircut and beard trim, and I walked out of there ready for the weekend and looking good! Great prices too!

My barber, George, listened attentively and gave me everything and more. A cut above!

I brought my husband as a walk-in and they helped us right away. His barber, Jorge, was incredible! He listened to what we wanted and was so talented. My husband said it was the best haircut hes had in years and worth the price. The place is very clean, full of the funniest people, and gives off a really relaxed environment. Been going here for a number of years, and that is saying a lot in a city where there is a hair spot every other block.This is a straight forward barbershop with a couple of frills.Ask for Kioni for an experienced professional.Appointment is recommended but not necessary if you dont mind waiting a few minutes.

Walked in here last Saturday morning, and they just happened to have an opening due to someone canceling. The people here were super friendly, and the barber paid such close attention to my hair, it was very pleasant. The barbershop is decorated retro-style, with a nice old school feel to it. Right off the main road of University, Im glad I came here instead of another place I had in mind. I would definitely come back here another time! Check it out!

Not even sure if George still works there, but the $23 haircut he gave my ex a couple years ago was good enough to begin a 5-star review (and then accidentally wait years post it)! OOPS!!On top of the great haircut, theres an amazing pizza place next door where you can sit and watch TV while you wait on the person whos getting groomed.

Trust these people with your hair. You wont have a bad day

The guy with gray hair that looks like he smokes 20 packs a day (he smells like it too) really sucks. Spent hella time only to do the MOST basic haircut ever. Never again.. the bad reviews about their attitudes are accurate too..

Ive been here a few times before - always decent cuts and friendly. Since its a drive to get there I have been trying out some neighborhood stylists and gave up. Ill admit I am not easy to please and what Im asking for goes against the rules of standard hair cutting. So I drove over today in hopes of getting a decent cut. To my surprise the latest addition to the great team at Winns ROCKED with the clippers and the blade. Patrick... dude... seriously I am very pleased. I will suggest to any professional male looking for a damn good cut to visit Winns. Worth the drive, the modest price and a small wait.

I have been to your shop from time to time and usually find my visit most satisfactory. I dropped in on Monday, October 13 for a haircut and Kioni saw that I usually color my hair. I was literally turned away because they said and I quote, we cant do African American hair. Its crazy because my friend had a similar experience here as well and when I went to see for myself, I couldnt believe it. I dont see how this is okay. Get a barber who can do African American hair or give your current barbers more experience and training. Its not that hard...

Excellent for me. I went in while passing through the port of San Diego. Isaac hooked me up with the best haircut Ive gotten without having to work with the barber for awhile. Highly recommend this gem

I have been to lots of barber shops and theyre good...no issues, until i met Isaac...hes awesome and keeps me lookin sharp...the awesome part is after i get a hair cut from him it grows out properly too which sometimes is just as important as when you first walk out.As for the shop itself...its a great atmosphere, lots of good conversation and just good people all around. Im really glad my wife pointed me in their direction. Ill be going to Isaac until i leave SD.

A great barbershop in Hillcrest. Kioni is who cut my hair and he did a great job. I would recommend this shop for anyone looking for a good cut and a line up.

Great barbers here, reasonably priced at $25 per cut. Just one piece of advise, they tend to get very busy, so pick up the phone and call for an appointment first.

New to the area and these people were very unhelpful and unwelcoming. I asked for a line up and a taper and barbers attempted to say you do it, no you can do it amoungst each other which was very immature, unprofessional and made me lack confidence in their skills here. I left without service and upset. Wont be spending my money where I feel like noone wants to do their job and makes me feel uncomfortable.

First time here. The barber I got was basically a gamble; a bad gamble at that. He didnt know how to do a proper fade. He left my hair uneven everywhere. A $26 haircut that I usually do myself with no issues!

I walked in without an appointment. The lead barber confirmed that one of the barbers could fit me in. Itll be just a minute. I waited as every barber finished their customers with no one waiting. All four barbers just ignored. I got up, no one said anything...I walked out.
