I have a difficult beard due to a single side cowlick, rarely does it ever wind up symmetrical. Many have tried most have failed. My beard came out perfectly, best looking shave iv ever had.

I have always had a issue finding someone to cut my hair the way I want. I went to several different locations all across San Diego County. I found SD Barber Shop before it moved to its currently location and I got Justin for my barber. Ever since he cut my hair I have gone back to him ever since. Not only does he cuts my hair perfect every time, he also has a great attitude and personality. I will continue to get any future haircuts with him

I’m giving two stars because of the friendliness of the two barbers, however $25 for a regular buzz is insane. I walked in with 26 dollars thinking that would be more than enough for the cut and tip, but it wasn’t so I headed down the street to get more money for a tip. The other issue is the barber did things I didn’t request nor wanted. While I don’t live around here I won’t be coming back and suggest people don’t either unless you have deep pockets.

For a long time I have been looking for the right barber that knows the meaning of a great feminine haircut. I went to SD Barber for the first time on 6/30/2018 and DJ Jourdain provided me with that satisfaction. I have worked with DJ for a long time at another place of business and never knew that he was also a Barber. I think that he could since my desperation for finding a good barber and one day he provided me with his card. I was nervous but I made an appointment.I was nervous because I have been looking for the right Barber for years and have been told by previous barbers that they knew how to cut a fem hair style. DJ was the first one that meant what he said and I am very pleased and happy with the results!!! Thank you DJ for saving and restoring my hope and faith for finding a good barber for women in SD. I will continue to be a client and highly recommend DJ to anyone especially females in SD who has endured my same challenges you will not be disappointed. He is fast, efficient, and most of all he knows what he is doing! Thank you again DJ Jourdain:-)

My first time going there was on a Wednesday, and it turns out Wednesday is the one day they are closed. Do not go on a Wednesday. I returned on another business day, and the barber was very professional and provided me an excellent haircut. The business is kept very clean, and you can tell the business takes pride in their appearance. Plenty of paraphernalia from the San Diego Chargers and the US Military displayed on the walls. I give them five stars. Well worth the wait.

This place wasnt as cheap as Sals but the guy was super friendly and took his time. He used a straight edge around my ears and on my neck which i find appealing. Also, the gentlemen cutting your hair are a lot more friendly. Id recommend this place over Sals unless you need a hair cut under $10.

Paul is THAT DEAL! He cuts my sons hair with great precision. We followed him when he left Primetime. Hes become more than a barber to my son, hes like a big brother. The shop is cool... but Paul makes the experience.

Just got my haircut here for the first time as my usual barber couldnt make an appointment so I just walked in, I have to say Im pleasantly surprised. Todd, I believe his name is, did a phenomenal job and Im very pleased with my haircut. I showed him a picture of generally what I would have liked and he nailed it, he was very thorough and didnt cut corners to save time as Ive experienced at other places. All short hair mens haircuts are $15 but I was happy to pay $20, Ill definitely be coming back.

Tin is the man! I got my haircut on Saturday and went back that same week because I didnt feel like I cut enough off. Not only did he finish the job, but he did it for free! best $15 dollar taper/fade I have ever gotten. I highly recommend this place and will only go to him from now on.

Place sucks now. Only one guy that I would recommend getting my haircut done. The women is okay. They are closing on Mondays now and increased their prices to $20 for a regular haircut. Not worth going to anymore.

This is a true barber shop. Were talking old school with straight edge razors for cleaning up stubble on the neck. Tin (the owner ) is great. I am from Boston and am lucky to have found someone that knows their craft very well. I highly recommend SD barber shoppe!

From the moment he laid his cigarette scented hands on my head I knew I shouldve left. Most barbers have a bad cut once in awhile so who knows, first time there and my instructions were simple. Felt like he didnt have a good process and sure enough he hacked me up in record time. Drove to another barber and was able to get it fixed, but I wont be returning...

Went in with no Appointment at lunch time and sat right down in a chair. Told the guy a basic idea of what I wanted and let him go with it. Hair came out great and the best part was the straight shave around the sides and back. Would go there again in a heartbeat.

My experience from this barber has nothing less than excellent. Even though Tin may not be there, the other people there are in the same level of experience. This shop is worth every penny
