Well I was driving through San Diego and my check engine light came on for my knock sensor they replaced the knock sensor but in doing so they also took out the light bulb to my check engine light and just connected to check engine light from coming back on ever and now that Im having Cadillac converter problems and my check engine light should have been on a while ago they screwed me up so thank you so much for faulty service to people that are traveling through going out of state you knew you wouldnt have to deal with me again so might as well just patch it instead of fixing the freaking problem

I came in with a concern of my car not starting properly. The mechanic (jimmy?) knew right away it was a battery issue. I was expecting to pay way more than I did and I was out in about 15 minutes. I’m a very happy customer and will definitely be coming back!!

Great place! I went because I seen all the amazing reviews and I was not disappointed. They did a car inspection on my Nissan and did not take all day to do it. They were nice and even gave my family some water because of the heat. I appreciate their work and they will def be my first choice if I am ever in the area again.

I could not be happier!I first took my car to a mechanic that was approved under my extended warranty. After waiting almost a week for a catalytic converter to arrive, they informed me the wrong part came and it was going to be twice as much $ and time to get the right one. I checked my warranty closely and discovered it wouldnt even be covered.I was looking at almost $3k to repair so a friend suggested Jimmy at The Pit Stop and said he wouldnt jerk me around. Jimmy quoted me less than half the labor cost the first shop wanted.After a couple of days Jimmy called me with bad news and good news. He had the same problem as the first shop; he ordered the correct part but received the rear converter and apparently the front converter was only available from the dealership. But the good news was, this made him recall a CA law extending warranty on emissions equipment. He had already called the dealership and confirmed that my catalytic converter should be covered.I got my car back today, the dealer replaced BOTH catalytic converters for free.Incredible in 2018 that a mechanic sacrificed his own profit to take care of me.I called the first shop back to tell them what had happened so they would be aware of the law in the future. They were polite but obviously didnt care.I have two other cars that are far beyond warranty.... and Jimmy is my new mechanic.

Great service! We randomly called for an appointment after having car trouble while driving from Arizona to California. I called and was told to bring in my car and Jimmy took me right in. I thought I needed O2 sensors for my Ford Taurus. They diagnosed it and found it was related to a vacuum hose. They saved me money and I was very pleased with the service. I even told them to replace my front brakes. They even gave me a ride back to me office. I highly recommend Pit Stop.

Took my car to a mechanic told me I needed pads without even really looking. Tried charging 1.5 hrs to slap breaks on 1 end. Ive done it with my own tools and a hand crank in 2 hrs. I took my car to the pit stop cause of all the positive reviews. The pit stop took my car into the shop and did a proper inspection. Turns out I didnt NEED breaks. This is my new mechanic.

My car was making a noise I didnt like. NAPA referred me to The Pit Stop; they ended up changing my Serpentine and Water Pump belts in about an hour! They were real friendly (especially Jimmy), fast, did a great job, and it was a lot cheaper than I had expected. Definitely returning to them with any future issues! Thank you!

As a woman I am always worried about being taken advantage of from car repair shops and dealerships, however, with The Pit Stop Auto Repair shop I never have to worry about being charged more or being told I need repairs that arent necessary. Always does a good job and cheap oil change

I had a great experience here. They worked with me on the price and were able to diagnose an issue with my car that at least 4 other shops completely missed or misdiagnosed. They are friendly and got the job done fairly quickly.

I cant speak for anyones experience but my own with Pit Stop, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. Brad and John really took care of me and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work they did. I took my 2003 300M to The Pit Stop for a timing belt and water pump replacement. The reason I went to Pit Stop is because some friends of mine had great experiences there and told me to call and get a quote after receiving several quotes from other shops that were all around $1300. Brad at Pit Stop quoted me half of that! Plus took an extra 10% off for me being former military. They got the parts in that day (Continental Timing Belt, not some cheap one), and I had my car back the next day. While my car was there they even changed the drive belts for only the cost of belts, and replaced a breather hose at no charge at all. That was about 2 months ago, and my car is still running great, in fact, its ran SO much better since Pit Stop took care of it. Brad even took pictures of the work progress to show me what they did, and emailed them to me! Whens the last time a mechanic did that for you?? I wouldnt take my car to just anyone, but I would definitely take it back to Pit Stop. In fact I took my car back here recently because my steering was loose and the suspension felt weird. They immediately diagnosed the problem, which was the tie rod bushings, and fixed it before I even got off work. The difference in the steering was amazing! My experience with Pit Stop was so good, that I had to share it. Thank you Brad and John!

Got my car in and out in the same day and it cost half the price of another place.

This place is legit son. I took my car in for a noise that was driving me postal from the bottom of the vehicle. I had taken it to this other joint that couldnt figure it out after 3 attempts and $800 worth of service. This place figured it out in less than an hour, ordered the part and had me out the door by 4pm. Total charge: $124 to replace the bearing with tax and errrthang. The noise was overpowering my system and glad they got it done! Legit service, great pricing (I would have paid triple), and they know what they doin.
