Ben Merrill, my service advisor is the perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. He goes out of his way to ensure that Ive been satisfied with the work; and that the works been done correctly. I was just looking at some pickup trucks at Mossy Ford while my Tundra (from Mossy Toyota) was being serviced. One of their Sales Persons walked out and asked me if I needed help. I said no, just looking. His name was Emilio and we shook hands and he asked me what I was looking for.Long story short, from that minute on Emilio showed me 4 vehicles, too of which I drove. There was no pressure and while we looked, he had his Sales Team work up a trade in on my Tundra. I had gotten several emails from Mossy Toyota asking me if I was interested in trading in my tundra,, so they did prime the well so to speak.We breezed thru the test drives and I chose my vehicle. I just wanted to exchange vehicles basically, as the one I wanted was close to the price they were giving me in trade. Within two hours I was out of there in my new Ford F-150. There were no surprises and I really had a good experience. The prices were not changed and they even worked in a $2500 rebate to make the no money down work for me.Emilio and the entire sales staff working with me did a great job and this was easily the best car buying experience I have ever had.

The service representative was fantastic. Doc was very helpful and helped me work through a couple things.I came in for an oil change and decided to wait. It took a couple hours and there seemed to be a slight lull in the work itself. Other than that the service I receive at this Mossy has been great. Ive been using them for 3 years now every 6 months for an oil change and some warranty work.I would give 5 stars if the work just didnt seem to take so long sometimes. And I know there could be reasons for that once in a while.. There have been a couple times I decide to drop my car off at 8am and leave then find out the car didnt even get looked at until 3pm.2018 Ford Mustang GT PP1

Today I went to Mossy Ford to purchase my leased vehicle. I met Rachael Koszewski, the most caring, competent and supportive Sales Consultant I have ever encountered. She was present, attentive, thorough and informative. She made sure that I had absolutely everything I needed and more. I felt informed, respected and welcome. Normally, I dread going through the process of purchasing a vehicle, but this experience was an unexpected blessing. This entire process took only an 90 minutes to completion and I happily drove away in my truck. In the finance department, I was greeted by Noriko Hayden who welcomed me, gave me simple, straightforward information and helped me to make the right decisions for me.There was zero pressure from anyone on the staff. Rachael and Noriko changed my opinion of going into a dealership. I am grateful for their help and expertise. The service department was amazing and very helpful. The assistant service manager, Ben, went above and beyond. Had been having trouble with license plates he told me exactly where to go. The two ladies in the financial office were very helpful. Sorry didn’t get their names but the taller of the two spent time with me and got all my problems resolved. Oh by the way the work on my truck was completed 2 hours before the scheduled time.

Had a wonderful experience with nothing I can complain about. The staff was helpful and realistic, not overbearing or pushy. I felt respected as a buyer and had all my questions and concerns answered with informed information about the vehicle. Contacting my bank took a prolonged amount of time (thanks covid) but while I was dealing with them the staff at mossy was patient and understanding. Their facility is well kept and they have the buying process streamlined for a no hassle purchase. Long game.... I ordered 2021 F-150 back in December and then not long after, our chip shortage put the metaphorical brakes on all truck deliveries. It took six months for my chip number to be called but luckily, I had a great salesperson (Caleb) to keep me in the loop when status was updated. When the time finally came to pick up the truck, I think he have been more excited than I was (probably that he wouldnt have to hear from me anymore). Probably one of the best car-buying experiences Ive had in 30+ years of buying cars. The GM came out out to chat with us as we waited for the truck to be detailed and was extremely friendly and humble. The finance department was equally pleasant and the entire process took only a couple hours, most of which was getting the car detailed and going through the numerous vehicle features. I will definitely be looking to purchase the Lightning from Mossy once it comes out and I recommend anyone looking to buy a Ford go down to Mossy.

Some services are costly but maintaining a car is costly everywhere you go. At least the services members are knowledgeable, patient and will do everything they can go over your options with you. Came in early and was greeted by David who helped me out tremendously. I have had previous mediocre experiences with Mossy but today’s was exceptional. They got my 20k mile checkup done in almost exactly 1.5 hours, washed my car, and fixed my broken back windshield wiper at no extra charge. He even explained that they checked my brake pads and perhaps the next time I bring it in they may have to be replace but for right now they are good. No upselling or pressure. Overall a delightful experience.

Easy scheduling, plenty of open appointments. Courteous, professional customer service always super efficient. I actually look forward to getting my car serviced which is a rare thing. They go above and beyond even remembering that I had called in months ago about a bolt I had forgotten to pick up foe my bike rack. A different service rep than the one helping me said I saw you were coming in I have these bolts for you. Just wish I could remember the two guys names who helped me yesterday they are a total credit to Mossy Ford.

I needed an entire driver side mirror replacement for my 2016 F-150 after totally smashing it backing out of my garage and it took about 2 months for this dealer to receive the replacement mirror in stock. While I know this isn’t the fault of this Mossy Ford for supply delays and shortages due to Covid, etc., Krys in the service department was extremely timely and prompt about keeping me updated on the status of the mirror. He was very friendly and professional from the day I brought my truck in up until about two months later when I brought my truck back in to get the mirror installed. If I ever have to come back to this mossy Ford, I will undoubtedly ask to work with Krys in service department first.

I am very pleased with my experience with Khalil. I sent him a quote that I saw online at another dealership and asked if he could match it. They gave me a better deal than the one I sent. When we reached the dealership the care was ready for us to inspect and test drive. Once we decided to buy the car we were finished with all the paperwork in about an hour. Khalil then spent the next half hour walking us through the features of the car. All in all one of the better car buying experiences I have had.

There is no acknowledgement of customers when you walk into the service center. You stand there until the service persons decide to say something. Check engine diagnosis takes an entire day, despite dropping off vehicle the day before. Be sure to check your bill to ensure all your warranties are applied; otherwise you will be overcharged! Rental vehicles are on back order, by several days, and they will not fix your vehicle same day, let alone the next so be prepared to be without a vehicle for however many days it takes to fix or get a rental vehicle. Go ANYWHERE else!

I had been having a bad time buying a car from other dealers.. Caleb was awesome he showed me several cars the one I showed interest in he arranged for me to take the car over night with half a tank of gas. So I could get it check out and have a stress free test drive. They didnt hound me during that time I got one text confirming my return time. I came out to the service department because I acquired an old car that required a recall remedy. My service rep. was very informative and explained to me the process of getting recalls being done, they provided a ride for me to my house and then another ride to pick up the car. Their snacks are located at the service desk, great coffee selection, clean waiting area and a good tv. My over all experience was pleasant :)

Conveniently, I have yet to receive a survey so I guess my review will go right here. I had sensor lights come on so I made an appointment on the phone. I explained the situation and the person on the phone made an appointment on a Saturday at 3:15pm. I asked how long it should take to see if I should plan for a ride home and he said about 2 hours.I arrived at my appointment time and was met by Ben the service advisor that helped me. He was not wearing a mask and said that he needed to keep my car until Monday because he wouldn’t have time for someone to even look at my car by 5pm. Keep in mind I was there at 3pm. I explained what the person said on the phone and was confused why he even made my appointment. I was told “You obviously don’t know how this works” and then Ben proceeded to explain the “process of a technician working on my car”. I explained that I work all weekend and I can’t leave it there. Monday I worked at 6am so he offered to take my car at 5:30am because he arrives to work early.I dropped my car off on Monday (he was not wearing a mask again) he called me a Lyft and I headed to work. By noon I hadn’t heard anything so I called. He was not available and called me back later that day to explain that a part needed to be ordered. “Should be there by Tuesday” Tuesday comes and I hadn’t heard from him all day. I called at 4, he was “not available”. He called me back to let me know the part hadn’t arrived. Wednesday hadn’t heard anything so by noon I called. He was “not available” but called me back around 2 to let me know that the technician had called out sick and he’s going to set me up with a rental car. I picked up a rental car, he still had no mask on. Thursday didn’t hear from Mossy at all. Friday didn’t hear from Mossy. I called Friday and was told that Ben wasn’t available and was never called back. Saturday at 11 my husband called tried to talk to Ben or a supervisor and he was told Ben was busy and talking to a supervisor would tie up the phone lines. Ben called at 4:00pm Saturday to let me know my car was done. When I got my paperwork it states that it took .9 hours of labor to fix my car. I’m not sure what was going on here but I’ll never take my car here again! TERRIBLE communication and waste of time.UPDATE- The marketing manager reached out to me shortly after this review and assured me that she would address my concerns. I also received a survey after she and I spoke about my experience with her.

After looking at several different Ford Dealerships for a new truck, Kahlil was a pleasant and refreshing change from what we had experienced. He is both knowledgeable and personable, which is why my wife and I decided to buy our 2021 Lariat at Mossy. What was even more refreshing and appreciated was the experience after buying our truck. As happens sometimes, we had a hiccup in wrapping up the final details of the truck. Within a day, Mossy’s Director of Customer Relations contacted us and even before we spoke, she and the General Manager had it fixed, a solution in place, and made a point of calling me personally to make sure we were happy with the result. WE ARE!! They did not have to do that and frankly I didn’t expect it. THAT, is what separates dealerships and people.If you are looking for a great truck and want a great salesperson - see Khalil. Sadly, I have to update my review of Mossy Ford. The finance person completely messed up the contract and had to make a new one. While the first one listed the purchase price at what we had agreed upon, the second contact was $2,000 higher and includes features that we not only didn’t ask for, but weren’t even on the car. He ran FOUR hard inquiries on my credit, despite my good credit score, causing damage to my credit score. I have called 16 times and emailed three times, and each time they assure me they will correct the problem, but they still have not. I purchased this car for my daughter in November; it is now July 23, and nothing has been done. I’m in the market to trade in my Mercedes, but there is NO CHANCE I will be dealing with Mossy Ford again. I’m extremely disappointed and have contacted my attorney about this matter. I had hoped it wouldn’t come to legal action, but they have not returned my calls or emails since March.I truly wish that my original review (I’ve left it up below) was one I could stand by, but they are just another slick scam dealership.From the moment I started dealing with them over the phone and emails, I knew this was a different kind of car dealership. They really seemed to care about our problem (my daughters car being more of an art piece than a car), and they urged us to bring it in. I met the finance manager, whom they rightly call Magic Mike, and he worked a great deal for us on a 2014 Subaru. I never thought I could afford it, and my credit has taken a nosedive since I got laid off, but they got me a good package, and a decent interest rate.Everyone was friendly from the moment we walked in. They asked about my daughters unusual paint job, and brought us bottles of water through the long car-buying process.Certainly, Magic Mike is the stand-out, because he was the one that urged me to come in, and offered to make a serious offer on our trade-in. He promised we would find something safe and reliable, but that my daughter would love, no matter how long it took.I really could go on and on, but they are wonderful people, and I love that they are a family-owned business.

Quick and easy experience with the service dept. My service adviser, Andrew, was helpful and friendly. Worked with me on pricing when there was a mishap in the inventory of tires. Will definitely be bringing my truck back here again.

10/10 job well done, was nice to get a bottle of water, clean bathrooms but most importantly my truck was well taken care of at a reasonable price, the staff were very friendly...is there a remote for the TV on the waiting room how about you get the channel on CNBC or Sports only rec.

Mossy had my car for nearly 60 days. How is those possible? They said it might take 30 days then 40 then 50. They failed on the deadlines repeatedly. The service department did a fair job of communicating but they could not get the parts or perform on time. This was a totally frustrating experience. The warranty they sold me covered just 5 days of car rental. No one should go thru 2 months without their car. Uhg.

I had an appointment with my main guy Diego on one day, but I was in the area, I live an hour away, and showed up a day early for our appointment. Diego wasnt available as it was his day off, but his peers; Saul and Kallil took care of me on his behalf. The three of them together working for my business was a trifecta like never before. Diego got me through the door, Saul welcomed me and handed me the keys for a test drive, and Kallil was the closer. Ive bought 16 cars over the past 15 years, and my experience with the boys at Mossy Ford have been the least painful experience Ive ever had. I couldnt be more satisfied. There were only a few 6speed Mustang GTs with performance package in a 100 mile radius, but Mossy Ford had the best price. Oh and whoever the manager was, also made it a point to personally introduce himself and welcome us to his office if any issues were to arise. No issues arised, but the fact that the man with the most expensive suit in the building made it a point to personally introduce himself to an everyday customer says alot about Mossy Ford. I really couldnt be more satisfied. I had a dollar amount of TOTAL amount financed in my head which I expressed to Mossy Ford and they delivered!!! I knew my credit score prior to walking in, and knew the estimated value of my trade in, I know the estimated taxes/title/license, I knew the estimate value of their car, and I knew my estimated interest rate. This truly was a no haggle experience!! I very much recommend the boys; Diego, Saul, and Kallil for everyones business!!

The Service Rep. David was cold and trite. He could care less of my concern after I shared what they were. My comments fell on deaf ears. I paid for premium service package and only receive basic oil change, and even more basic of service help.

Great Place to purchase a car! The true definition of the customer is always right. What we wanted we got. The whole staff is friendly from our salesman Skylar who helped us out tremendously always looking out for our benefit. While the manager Joey is an excellent guy remembering people and very attentive to his clients. Would definitely recommend going here if anybody is interested in purchasing a new car.. Sent my Daughter who is attending UCSD to have her 2017 Ford Focus checked for a dead battery. The vehicle has 24,000 miles and we purchased the FACTORY 5 year extended warranty. I highly recommend you dont make the same mistake, because according to Mossy Ford, the extended warranty doesnt cover diagnostic time (didnt catch that in the fine print). The service manager tried to charge her $366.27 to replace the battery. He claimed the service tech had to charge diagnosis time. To be fair the service tech did say the check engine light was also on. For this reason, I have always been reluctant to send a car to the dealer. After discussing the issue with a manager the diagnostic time was waived and my daughter picked up the car which is back to a reliable state. Looking for recommendations for a trustworthy and reliable service shop in the UC San Diego area.Update: Trisha Keefer ([email protected]) from Mossy Ford reached out to me a day after this post. She is serious about fixing issues like mine and I really appreciate her efforts. We discussed the issue calmly and she simply wanted to know what they could do to earn my trust. She never asked me to change my post. My daughter will be in the San Diego area for at least another 4 years so If we give Mossy another chance, I will be sure to contact Trisha first.

Lied to me and told me I could pick up my car on Sunday and I could not. Was told by the sales team on Saturday that he qould try to get in touch with someone from service and call me back, he did not. Dismissed on the phone on Monday morning trying to find out the status of my vehicle because the person had a lot of other calls to take. No news or indications of the status of my vehicle. When my vehicle was brought to the front it was essentially boxed in and I had to go back and ask how to get out of the parking lot. From the receptionist, to sales team, wholly unprofessional and lacking in customer service. I am new to the area and was hoping this would be where I could be taken care of. I was mistaken. Most of this could have prevented if they had not promised something they did not intend to honor, had they just told me I had to wait until Monday, while inconvenient, I would not have been disappointed and dismissed repeatedly

Brought my Ford Focus in for a recurring issue with the transmission...a chugging start off the line. Youre rep..Andrew Monroe is as good as I have ever had the pleasure of working with...he is an asset to Mossy Ford. At any rate, he discovered that there were a couple of open recalls that needed attention and that was attended to and the car is now performing as it should
