My husband and I were astounded when we could not obtain insurance for our brand new house because it is located in an area considered to be high fire risk. Wow! I could not find reasonable insurance for my recent purchase of a Malibu house. It is in a high fire zone, in fact the 2018 fire had burned down the two houses on the other side of my street. I had called and searched insurance companies including All Modern. Nobody would insure this house with a regular insurance plan.Dori Einhorn insurance was one of my many calls. She had connections. Yes believe it or not I got a very reasonable coverage with All Modern who had denied me prior when I called.Dori rocks!

I am so happy to have found Einhorn Insurance. My prior insurance agent only gave me 1 week notice to tell me that Im being dropped because my house is in a wildfire area.I couldnt believe how little notice I was given and the lack of customer service by my prior agent.Einhorn Insurance was very fast at responding to emails. I was able to email them details & photos of my home. In less than 2 days, Einhorn found me a new policy and I learned I was quite underinsured on my old policy. I have a much better policy and am now with a company that give great customer service.

I needed insurance for my dog per my landlord requirements and I was referred to this agency. Because I did not have my dog fixed I was not able to be insured. I was told that because my husband and I had thought about breeding our dog when we got him over two years ago they would not insure me. I had expressed that we had thought about it but never did and have chosen not to and yet they still refused to insure me. It was fine I took my money elsewhere I was just astonished at the level of professionalism from the agent I was speaking with via email. I would never recommend this company to any of my family or friends. I’m glad others have had much better experience than I however I will not be recommending this agency to people I know.

We worked with Dori during escrow on a home that was in a fire danger area. Several other agencies were unable to help us. Dori was able to set us up with a great policy. She was very helpful and attentive during the entire process. Unfortunately, issues with the home arose during escrow and we had to back out. I would feel fully confident to use Einhorn in the future. These are THE people to turn to if your home is in a high fire area.

Dori with Einhorn Insurance was amazing to work with!! They do provide services outside of Southern California, so dont hesitate to contact them if you are not near San Diego. We are purchasing a home in rural far Northern California, and when it looked like no other insurance company would insure us because of our location, Dori came through with the promise that she could get it insured to meet the banks requirements for a loan (such a relief!). I received a response within 1-2 hours of submitting an online inquiry, and Dori has never failed to promptly respond to any inquiries. She worked hard to get us all the discounts available. A local office offered us the same exact plan for $700 more per year than what Dori got us. On top of all that, she referred us to a different company that could offer a better price on flood insurance than they could. Her honesty and legitimate compassion for our situation was amazing! Dori was constantly checking in with us on the progress of our loan and for updates. No other entity that we have worked with during the home purchase process has been so great. Was so pleased with the entire process. Eric made it easy, his professionalism and truly caring what was best for the client. He was able provide a good homeowners policy in the brush area that is extremely limited. I would highly recommend Einhorn Insurance.

I live in an extremely high fire risk area and reached out to Einhorn Insurance after being dropped by my insurance company and being unable to find any other. Let me say that more accurately: after being unable to find any local agents who could find any other. Einhorn Insurance came through rapidly and, equally importantly, was able to clearly and compellingly discuss all of the relevant issues with me (this was quite counter to my experience with other agents). Their professionalism and expertise is truly appreciated by this customer; enough so that I have recommended them highly to each of my neighbors as the dreaded cancel letters have inevitably arrived.

I was in a jam for homeowners insurance due to another carrier that ensured me I was going to be covered in a high brush area and at the last minute was told I was unensurable due to brush.I found Einhorn Insurance online after researching high brush and they were able to assist me the same day with a full home owners policy. I cant say enough about the customer service and the knowledge they have regarding high fire risk.I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new home owners policy in or out of a high fire location.

This company was top notch, responsive and super easy to work with. I was in escrow on a house that was close to the wildfire areas. I started to panic when everyone I called turned me down for home insurance. I stumbled on Einhorn Insurance and they were able to find a policy for me super fast. They even called my escrow company and lender and handled everything regarding insurance so I didnt have to. I am pretty sure I would not have been able to close escrow if they didn’t find me a policy. Horrible company. I was baited to answer a hypothetical question about breeding a dog I haven’t even bought yet. I wanted to one day have a puppy from the dog I acquire specifically for family use. I am not a breeder or plan on becoming a breeder and tried explaining this to them. I also told them if I did breed the dog in the future it would be in the very far future when my newborn is a teen. I don’t know why they advertise canine insurance if they don’t want to cover honest people from getting canine insurance.

After getting outbid on several offers, we are finally in escrow on a home in Scripps Ranch. Our escrow company sent us a form asking for our home insurance information. After calling numerous insurance companies (including the company that insures me now) to get a quote, we quickly found out the house is in a high fire area and we need home insurance for a wildfire area. Some of the agents we called never called us back once we gave them the address. A couple of people we talked to flat out refused to offer a homeowners policy because Scripps Ranch is prone to fires. Then, a few agents came back with very high quotes and our lender said we wouldn’t qualify for a loan if our insurance was that high. Our excitement for this house quickly turned into panic as we were struggling to get affordable coverage. Dori at Einhorn Insurance was able to navigate the waters and provide a coverage option that we could afford and more importantly, feel good about! The customer service here sucks. You can never get a person on the phone or to return a call or email. We’ve had them for over 5 years because they offered aggressive breed insurance, but we’ve been trying to get ahold of them for months to change coverage and their communication is awful.
