Called AAA to move a car that we didnt want to drive to he shop, in fears of damaging it (there was some smoke coming out, didnt know if it was serious since car drove and sounded fine). Was told California Towing would arrive within 50-60 minutes. About 10 minutes later, their dispatch called me and told me they where about 10-15 minutes away. The operator was cool and professional to us, and told us that we where about 2-3 miles over what AAA covers, it was going to be about $20 for those extra miles, which was fine with us. He called his dispatch and was able to get that fee waived, which was nice of him. Car was towed with no damage and arrived without a single scratch. Will definitely use them again whenever possible.

Horrible service. Waited 4 hours to have dispatch tell me the tow truck driver couldnt tow us because he feared for his life!!! Lied about stopping to tell us!! We were stranded at a fast food restaurant in the parking lot. No phone call or anything!

After I told him that I did not have the key...Then he could not tow my car after waiting for 6 hours !! Then drove off like he did his job..I would have given them negative 5 stars....As far as Im concerned they shouldnt tow bicycles....

We contacted California Towing to tow our carand the driver Christopher showed up and before hooking up the vehicle said he needed to make a call and then drove off. I contacted California Towing and spoke with dispatch who said he was very busy and can refuse service to anyone. I tried to file a complaint. Do not use this company. Idk if it was a race thing, a female thing or what but I was left without towing.

Id never use them as long as i live even if i had to push my car

Danny was Amazing! Really helpful and careful with my car. Went above and beyond to make sure my car was safely loaded up and off the truck. Cant tell you how hard it is to find genuinely kind, and hard working people, but they do exist and Danny is one of them! Highly recommend this company!

The company came to tow my stranded vehicle one and a half hours late, blamed AAA. When I complained to the driver that the shop where the car was going was now closed, he was extremely defensive and upset that I had the nerve to complain, made no apologies. When I demanded accountability, he called his supervisor, who threatened to call the police on me. I told him, I have committed no crime! So, he said he was refusing service to me, instructed his driver to unload my vehicle in a parking lot and left! Never use this company...they will strand you! Even worse...if they do strand you, AAA will do nothing about it. Both AAA and the towing companies are raking in the fees yet customer service has gone way down! This was a terrible experience thanks to California Towing and Jason Yankee816 @ AAA.

California towing was dispatched through AAA. I received a call from California Towing to confirm my address etc and she was very nice. The driver (I dont know his name)that came to pick up my car was professional, efficient and polite! I had requested a flatbed and that is what showed up! 😁I didnt receive a review from AAA yet, but I will say the same to them!Excellent service! 🙂Thank you California Towing!🥰

Mike is awesome. My 2016 Dodge Challenger was running and I couldnt get it to turn off and it would not drive. He walked me through over the phone to take a relay out that goes to the fuel pump. He talked to me until I located the correct one. He also explained that the battery would need to be disconnected because the lights would not turn off. The car had been running over 2hrs. I spoke with the service help for the car and they didnt know what to tell me. The put me in contact with service and they did not offer any help but towing. The guy didnt know how towing service would help with my issue being that it was 12:20am. 😂

What an awesome experience! I called AAA after my stolen car was recovered, and they sent California Towing. Its never a good thing to need your car towed, especially in the cold, but Alejandro was helpful, fast, and professional, and made a bad night more peaceful. The response time was fast and I was home in no time, even after changed a tire and put my car on the flatbed. Everything went so smoothly.

It was a very dangerous situation as we were hidden around a upcoming curve that other drivers could not foresee. The only thing more dangerous would be the same situation happening going DOWN the mountain. These guys got out to me promptly. They were nice, experienced, serious about solving this issue fast, and very cautious of hazards. They were careful with theirs and my equipment, and very, very focused on safety in the moment. I was amazed that this scary dangerous event could be so smoothly transitioned into a safe rescue. Carlos and Thomas definitely knew how to safely take quick but delicate control of the situation and are the kind of help you need if you find yourself at a messy curve in the road like I did today. WORST TOWING COMPANY ON EARTH! The level of incompetence is simply mind-boggling! They dont deserve any stars! Our BMW broke down near California State University San Bernardino, so we called AAA for a tow. After waiting for an hour, California Towing still hadnt arrived. We called to check on the status and they informed us that the guy couldnt find us. We had provided the correct address and detailed instructions on how to get to the location. In addition, we were at the corner of 2 major cross streets! So lets review ..... California Towing had the address, instructions and a working GPS, but they still couldnt find us. STUPID doesnt adequately describe the complete lack of intelligence displayed by California Towing in this situation. In addition, the people who answer the phones at their office are rude and confrontational. The boss started cussing at me and challenged me to fight him (not very bright on his part) in the parking lot of his shop. Its unbelievable that these people are still in business. Im halfway inclined to call the police at this point and report the threats. We are still sitting here, waiting for a different towing company to come and get the car. We have filed a formal complaint with AAA. Do yourself a favor and find another towing company. California Towing will just leave you stranded by the side of the road!

Automobile Club of Southern California dispatched this Company to our accident. They did not disclose that the car, that was undriveable, could not be put in the driveway once it got to the house. Due to liability reasons, they said. I said I would wave the liability if they could please do it and they said it was there new policy. Auto Club just had my husbands truck towed on Friday, by a different company from brea, towed and put his truck in the driveway with no problem. This has been such a night mare. We had to have another company Wind-N-Say towing that did a great job for us!!! Not sure I will keep my Auto Club (15 years of membership) but will NEVER have California Towing do any service ever for me and my family or Friends!!! Make sure you ask Auto Club before you have a tow truck come for you from them!!!!

Called for tow through AAA. The guy arrived and refused to change Tire because he is getting off shift that he would send somebody else

Called AAA for a tow at 3:45pm the call took 5 mins. At 4pm I recieved an alert that the tow truck should arrive at 4:50pm. Just after 4:50pm, I checked on the AAA map to get an idea of where my driver was. The map had refreshed and gave me an ETA of 5:20pm. At 5:07pm the driver called and informed me that he was 20 mins out. He arrived around 5:20pm, we asked if he had ramps to load our vehicle. He stated that he did not have any ramps, and that he could try and load it and we could see what would happen. We then asked, if our vehicle is damaged in any way during the tow, would the company cover the cost to repair it. The driver ignored our question, got into his truck, made a call to dispatch, (we assume) got out of his truck, took photos of our vehicle, spoke back with dispatch, got out of his truck, informed us that they would not assume any liability in towing the vehicle, and added, So, we are done here. He then got into his truck, and left us stranded on the side of the freeway. No ride to the gas station a little over 1/4 mile away. This Company Sucks!! Avoid at All Costs!!

These guys are crooks and very un professional. They had my under age son sign a contract so that it was not a AAA tow and when my insurance didn’t cover the car they charged me 370.00 for the tow and over night storage fees. Even after the tow driver asked for my sons AAA card and I’d.

Great experience with this company driver Alejandro went above and beyond with my road side assistance my gear shifter broke on my truck, he went to extreme measures to make my truck get in gear by going underneath my truck in the hot concrete and did what he could to get my truck in gear, followed me to my mechanic with in a mile a way ..This companys driver is beyond amazing did more than what his job description is and very respectful cant thank him enough saved me hundreds of dollars by evaluating the condition of my issue and making me aware that it had been previously fixed with a zip tie thank you again !!

Had the worst experience with California Towing terrible customer service. When I got a flat and didnt have a spare california towing arrived and damaged and cracked my front bumper to my BMW when lifting it onto the tow bed. When I contacted the office they said they would only pay for half of it which is extremely unfair and unprofessional. They wrote me a check for $125. When I fixed the damages a few months later and asked them for the the remainder of the 50% for the repairs the claims manager Anthony refused to reimburse me. He told me too late I already walked away with the check then hung up on me. Extremely disrespectful and rude. Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
