My car overheated near the ranger station at the bottom of the 330. Armada answered the AAA call for towing. The driver was NICK, who is one of the nicest drivers in my experience with towing. He was professional, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. My car was loaded efficiently and he even took extra care getting my large dog into the truck and helped calm him for the ride up the mountain to home. The car again was unloaded very efficiently and NICK was able to drive the car into the carport for me. A very pleasant experience despite the unpleasant circumstances thanks to NICK of Armada Towing!

My experience was very horrible. Im a preschool teacher and mother of two elementary children. I let them know that the car was stolen from work and my situation. The main manager was so rude to me that the only cared about telling me the prices he had to collect from me. I had to miss work on our return back to school week to sign off my car to them. I even had to pay $330 dollars after signing my car to them. I am an educator who didnt have a steady income during the summer yet Armamda towing didnt care during these hard times.Times were all of us have to help each other and understand individual situations. Unfortunate that companies like this treat people like me in such a horrible way..

Been dealing with this yard for like a week. My husbands truck was stolen and then impounded here. They make it impossible to retrieve your own vehicle and treat you like a criminal yourself. Horrible customer service. They just want your money, do anything they can to stall the process so you cant get your car out so they can charge you more money everyday. The owner Jay is a real piece of work.

They were very nice, helpful, and very well guarded. I had heard of ppl missing stuff out of their cars from tow yards, but not from this place. I just wish they were a lil more accessible on the weekends. Especially since they charge daily.

They towed my vehicle charged 425$ to get out of storage. Had me sign papers to get my vehicle out and did not bring my vehicle out until I signed the waiver to damages. Once I got my vehicle after I signed the waiver I come to find they must have used the slimjim to open my driver door and damaged my driver window. The window pane is now misaligned and makes a horrible scraping sound. Dirty towing, they didn’t even mention the damages just drove it to me a quickly hopped out and left.

Minivan stopped working when I got off of work. The man who picked up the van was very courteous and willing to help me with placing my van somewhere. The bed the van was on was a bit too long to get it inside the garage that was on an incline, but I do appreciate the effort to get it inside. All in all, a great towing experience.

Rip off!!! $475 to tow 3.4 miles and hold car for less than 1 hour. They prey on Gus Jr (1292 N Waterman, San Brdo) customers to step outside of the property line. If you walk outside the property line, you must move your car or they will tow and they are waiting every Sunday to do so. This is a money maker for the owner of Armada Towing (unless owner is passing % to his/her employees). Sign is misleading and says “Private Parking - Public parking violators will be towed. Armada Towing” It doesn’t say it’s for Gus Jr customers only or warn customers, if you step outside the property line your car will be towed. So deceiving!!

Armada was prompt to help me out after calling AAA. A fella by the name of FORREST arrived with a smile on his face and even that soothed me a tad. He was very courteous and patient and knowledgable. Dont really care much for towing companies, but ARMADA and FORREST were Great!

Motorcycle crashed. Armada picked it up around 5pm Friday. I went and got it at 1:30pm on Saturday - 20.5 hrs. Charge: $500. $225 an hour (×1.5hrs), and 2 days storage @$50 a day. Felt like my bike was legally taken and held for ransom.

Want to give a 0 - company takes advantage of victims of auto accidents - car was totally ransacked while on the Armada Towing lot in Austin, Texas. Manager of lot said if police did not include an inventory of car items on report, you cant prove any items were actually stolen from the vehicle. Yet over $300 of items were missing and receipts from center console were thrown everywhere!

THANK YOU, ARMADA TOWING!!! Armada responded to my AAA request after being rear-ended on the freeway. I had a lot of things going on and a lot of decisions to make. The driver who responded was patient and professional. He went out of his way to get me to work (which was where I was going when the accident happened) and helped me off load all my personal things. The manager was very helpful and working with the body shop later that day in the transporting of my wrecked vehicle from Armada to the tow yard with no hassels at all. In the future, if I need towing services I have their card in my glove box!

I dont see how armada has a AAA contract. By far the worst, most unprofessional, incompetent towing company Ive ever delta with. They didnt make the time frame any of the 3 times they were out for the same problem. The first 2 times the driver said the 185 dollar AAA battery was good. So after paying the garage to tell me that indeed the battery is definitely bad they were sent out for the 3rd time and finially agreed that it was bad. They were unable to find it in the system so instead of giving me the 5 minutes it took to deal with it they left and made me wait once again. Even though the driver just left 5 minutes earlier I was given and eta that was 40 minutes later which they were once again late for. I would not recommend them to an enemy and if AAA awards them a contract in the future I will not renew with them and make sure everybody I know is aware of my story and knows there are other companies out there that offer the same service..

If I could give a zero I would on how my first tow truck driver handled this situation....the second driver that had to come out since the first one to me in my words Lazy/too much work for the task at hand....this is my review for Wednesday December 9, 2015......sorry, this is both my venting on FB and my review of tow service..Im too tired from work to make any edits not related........::::So after losing my smart key (late Tuesday night or Wednesday early morning) for my car (only key I had) and having an awesome friend taking me home which is way out of his way...to only go back to work rather quickly to get AAA to send a tow truck to take my car to the Kia dealership in Ontario (Citrus)...after explaining to AAA my key was lost at work, etc the first tow truck driver from Armada wouldnt touch my car or the very least open my door to get my phone out...the fer said he couldnt open the door, he could but, he wont be able to move my car w/o a key to put it in neutral, really? I called my dealership since Im not car savvy and they tell me theres a pin release by the shift gear that well manually put it in neutral and I tell the fer that and either he didnt know what that was or how to do that or just being plain lazy for having more than the usual work to do so he cancelled my call service for tow immediately before he evens opens my door so I can get my phone and just says he needs to get someone with a wheeler to roll my car out or whatever that means until 12p, really? I need sleep by this time...all that time still on the phone with Ceasar from Kia telling him what that tow guy was saying...and my Kia guy is laughing at him at what a incompetent guy he is...saying thats so not hard to do and said no offensive, even a girl who knows nothing about cars ins and outs can do this and after seeing what the pin release was at, yeah I couldve done it...ending up calling AAA again and told them what happened, they say maybe he was afraid of liability for damages...whats the difference between having a key to put it in neutral and just using the shift pin release? Absolutely nothing different from what I saw..tow truck #2 came also from the same company and he too asked about the key...ugh, not again...explained everything and what the dealer said..he went to his tow truck for something and I turned around to talk to my mom and next thing I know my car alarm is going off, he did the shift pin release etc, all in 5 mins tops and asked me for a favor which is to steer the car while he pushes it out...he apologized for the first guy..so, from 8a to 10a spending almost 2 hrs dealing with tow trucks and mind you I got out of work at 630a after working an 11+hr shift, went home, back to work for 2hrs dealing with my car, my mom almost late for her Drs appt which I had to go with her since there was no time to just drop me off so I can sleep, didnt get home until almost 1p, got maybe 2hrs of sleep before getting up to get ready for work again...oh yeah, and $354 bucks later for a new smart key for my car before heading back to work...Ive been seeing a lot of customer packages at Amazon for something called Tile... Looked into it to see why people are buying these up...yeah well I guess its for people like me that tend to lose things...Lol...is there one for losing my mind😂 Ill be purchasing a 4-pack with my next check...oh and thank you to the second tow truck driver (for you only Id give you 5 stars) that came out for actually knowing his job in situations like these with these new cars with smart keys and what a shift pin release is capable of and not quickly cancelling my AAA service call like the first guy did, hope I never have to use that guy if I ever call for service while in San Bernardino... wish I knew the 2nd drivers name as I am sending this in as a review...Lol)...but, Im sure theyll remember the recent tow from the Amazon Warehouse in San Bernardino
