I had tried multiple times to have my sliding glass door replaced with French doors. People who do general home renovations would come and measure and talk about it. They would leave saying they would be back in touch, but I would never hear from them again. These doors are on a sun room and; therefore, I assumed that most people who arent accustomed to work on sun rooms tend to be afraid of them. I emailed numerous sun room companies and they never responded to my messages. My assumption there was that sun room companies only want to build sun rooms, but not work on existing sun rooms. Eventually, I emailed three sun room companies asking them if it was at all possible to do what I was trying to do, or if it will just never happen. Only one of the three responded and that was James Dixon from River City Exteriors. He came to my house, we discussed it, he indicated it could definitely be done and showed me pictures. I hired him to do the job. Of course, there is some waiting involved in having something custom made, but the doors were ready exactly when promised. The installers did an excellent job. It has been a few weeks now and I am completely happy with my new doors. I finally got in touch with the right person. I will not hesitate to hire River City Exteriors for future household projects. I recommend them enthusiastically.

As a custom home builder snd construction consultant in the area, I have never dealt with a more unprofessional group or individual. 1st they lied and said the doors hadnt been paid for, which we have proof ithey are paid in full. Then they refuse to warranty a 3 month old door that is warped into the house now by 3 imches and wont seal at the top. Most unprofessional clowns i have had the dispeasure of dealing with. Nothing worse than liars and cheats, and thats all you get with river city doors.

River City Exteriors recently installed a metal roof on my home and I couldnt be more pleased. They provided an engineers plan so I could see exactly what the finished work would look like before starting. The installation was quick and the price was great with no surprise costs. I would definitely use them again.

Extremely rude service. Requested to have an estimate for a sunroom installed on our back patio with Rich. I had my son’s mother be present for the scheduled estimate while I stepped away for business. Once Rich saw it was a woman and not me he immediately chastised her for not being my wife and informed her he would not give her the estimate because she was not wife. I had explained to my son’s mother in detail exactly what I wanted. When she explained to him what I was looking for Rich reluctantly took measurements but never wrote anything down. When he was asked if what I was asking for could be done his response was “I guess.” On his way out Rich told my son’s mother 2 more times that he would not share his estimate with her because she was not my wife. Even then I didn’t take it personally. I’ve worked with many contractors and I understand that most contractors are a little rough around the edges. When I called to speak with him about the estimate he started to lecture me about not being there for his estimate. It was an estimate not the signing of a final contract. Even then I still tried to talk numbers and he informed me that he does not give estimates over the phone. So when do we receive the estimate? The point of obtaining “estimates” is to compare them to 2-3 others. All this aside if you’re looking to waste your time and receive subpar service call and ask for Rich.

Poor installation. Windows went in but they left glass all over drive way. Scratched a wall and bled on my curtains. Caulking was poorly done and not cleaned off windows. So mad at the disrespect this install crew showed. Do not let these clown hats in your home.
