Brent did a thorough and fair estimate of the job, the crews were quick, polite, clean, and professional. But it was Patricia who managed the job from a distance who took the extra effort to track down missing parts and schedule a second visit to finish the project to the customers total satisfaction. She should be commended.

I would recomend Sears I did not have heating or air I had a new roof put on with a very steep pitch. They roofers were on time cleaned up and were very polite..

WE purchased all new windows after a house fire. I am greatly impressed with the quality. They look so much better than the big box construction store that were in the house when built. They have the safety glass and UV protection. The entire process was very easy and went smoothly from the estimate to the actual installation. The men were very professional and did a great job. We had a very good experience with the gentlemen sent out to tear out our old tub and install a new walk in shower. The work was very well done, the installer was way better than you would expect and it was finished when they said it would be. I recommend using Sears Home Improvement if you need work done.

If I could give zero stars would be more appropriate of my experience. Salesman was nice and that’s about all the good of my experience. Roofing company the sub contracted to do what I was told would take 2 days now going on day 3 possibly into day 4. 2 guys to work on a 1687 sq foot ranch style home and a 3 car garage (really). 2 guys that spent multiple hours laying or sitting in the shade of my oak tree, then starting work from 5pm to 9pm when they’d been there since 9am, blaming everything on previous roofers. Foreman was never there, never had any communication or status updates from him. Guys started cutting the garage roof to vent it, luckily we stopped that error. Boards they cut weren’t replaced just covered up. I could go on but I think my blood pressure is high enough. I just want the job finished and I want these people off my property..

It took them all day to put in 10 windows, I know it was a big job, I just wonder why there was only two people to do the job. Aside from that the guys did a great job, they were very professional about everything. I am very satisfied with the work. Now to see if the windows actually cut down on the electric bill.

Our window buying experience went well. The salesperson guided us through the process of selecting the right windows for our house. The installers were fast and efficient. The windows look great and seem to really help with noise abatement and reduced energy consumption.

The Technicians did a wonderful job. They installed and repaired our air conditioner and heating system and explained how everything works. I really appreciated how professional all the guys were while working in my home.

We got a new roof. It looks great and once they started, they finished in no time and cleaned up every evening before they left. I am very happy with my new roof.

Workers were courteous and stayed on task. Work was completed earlier than expected. The only other thing I would have liked to see would be better cleanup during the installation of the windows. In the main room they placed a cloth inside the window so the mess from removal was contained. This only happened in one room. In the rest of the house I am still finding clutter from the removal of old windows.

The two crews who preformed the work on our home were very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. They did outstanding work and we are very satisfied with the results.

SEARS home improvement is a disgrace to a very old trusted company. In July we agreed to buy an airconditioner and furnace to the tune of $7000.00. They lied, three different times. They said it would have 0 interest for 72 months. We have been charged $400.00 so far. They put the outsider unit in the wrong place, and refuse to move it. We were also promised a $500.00 gift card we have yet to receive. Sears is not the company to trust anymore.Chris Palmer is a disgraceful employer that screams profanities when is called out on all the lies. Goodbye to Sears!!

We purchased a Kenmore Elite A/C unit from Sears Home Improvement on Oct. 22, 2016 and was talked out of getting a second opinion. That was a mistake!! We found out we could have saved $5,000.00 if we would have shopped around. Our A/C unit costed us $12,443.00 and that was with a discount!!! What a joke!! Our salesman Chris Palmer shows you a different side of him when youre making the purchase and another side after the purchase is complete! The day the unit was installed we emailed him and ask him for the break down of the purchase. We wanted to know how much the inside and outside unit cost and how much the labor was. We ask him this 3 times and I still havent hear back on my question.. We truly feel like we were overcharged and taken advantage of by Mr. Palmer. Were sure they made a pretty penny off of us.!! The moral of this story is to ALWAYS get a second and even a third opinion!! Sears is not what it used to be !! :-(

.I have a HVAC system installed by Sears a little more than a month ago. I cannot get a return call for warranty service and the project manager will not return my calls. I have called 4 times within the past two weeks. I definitely would not recommend Sears Home Improvement.

The quality of the installed product is very good. Except for the unnecessary damage done by the installers, I would have given a five star rating .

The San Antonio office quoted me a price to replace my HVAC system. They cashed my $500 deposit check and two days later called to tell me the equipment was ordered. The following day they called and said they were canceling the contract because they quoted me a price that was $1100.00 too low. Then said it would be 1 to 2 weeks before I get my $500 deposit. I am sooo disappointed in Sears. That is no way to do business. They try and sell you on Sears reliability and integrity - guess that is only if the act is in their favor. Too bad for the customer. BEWARE!!

I had a bad experience for doing business the first time ever with Sears. The contractor & project manager wasnt on the same page an work didnt get done in time frame that was given way ahead of time. Guys didnt show up when they said or one time didnt show up at all but did come to get tools which made no sense. They did damage a tile in bathroom where carpet meets up an busted up trim in multiple spots but I went ahead an signed off on it so I could move forward. The material however does look good but I do see it becoming a issue in some areas. They used caulking to hold down transition pieces an it already came up 2 days after they left which is a high traffic area so Im not sure if I would recommend them going forward. Project manager ABEL was hard to deal with an said this was his best crew which I have hard time believing. However job is done but damage occurred but Ill deal with it since I have no choice. I recommend they just take off the cost on damages but I never got a answer.

The experience started out relatively pleasant, but then when the subcontractors came to install our new windows, they accidently ripped out the wrong one. The Sears project manager was impossible to get a hold of at that point and never updated us about when to expect the replacement window. We waited over a month with a plywood window and only heard back from the project manager once the window had been shipped. Extremely frustrating process!

I am an electrical contractor and was contracted by a Joey munoz from Sears for an electrical installation at a job in Portland Texas. They were in a bind and needed service next day in order for the job to go through. Joey told me I would be paid by his guys at the completion of the install that next day.We completed the install within the budget and time period he gave me, I call Joey and he says his guys forgot their check book and he would mail me a check by the end of the week. The following Monday I text Joey and asked if the check had been mailed ($725). Joey replied yes, I have the text history to prove this.Weeks went by and a check was never received. I tried to contact Joey but communication somehow began to be very difficult for him. I could not get a response as to why I had not received our check. Finally he tells me he has to file a w9 with us and get us approved. Thats fine, we are a service company in Corpus Christi and have worked with thousands of local residents and businesses over the past 12 years.... Why didnt Joey request this initially if it was required for payment?Long story short, Joey and Sears Home Improvement San Antonio management have been impossible to get ahold of the past 7 WEEKS. I have left messages with multiple managers asking that someone let me know this order is being processed and a check is headed our way asap. No one returns my calls and Joey just keeps telling me he doesnt know how long it takes.Sears, we do not need to be approved, we have done the work for you we just need to get paid. I know everyone else got paid. I have the Sears contract for the job we installed. Sears collected over $11000 up front,but the electricians your employee (Joey) contracted havent seen a cent in 7 weeks. We have no assurances we will either as Joey has only proven himself to be a liar.Please someone in upper management hear this cry for help, I have never had such difficulty collecting for a job and I would never have expected this from Sears.

I had nothing but problems with my whole kitchen remodel, shipped in wrong cabinet took 3 weeks to get replacement, installer was doing such a messy job I had an inspector come in had to hire an electrician to straighten everything out, installer again messed up cabinets by cutting into them took a long time to get new cabinets had to hire plumber because new installer did not know how to hook up my reverse osmosis water filler and tank holder also sent wrong sink upon checking paperwork there were 3 different sinks when the flooring arrived only about half was ordered took long time to get a replacement because when a new order came in it was a different height from beginning with sales rep until job was completed it took close to 9 months . I would not contract with Sears for anything
