What an amazing experience I had. The front staff was amazing. There are friendly, quick and professional. The assistant that prepped me for my wisdom tooth extraction was on point. Then when the Doc came in, he numbed me and prepared me for the extraction, he was gentle and swift. He pulled it in less that 5 minutes!! I don’t feel woozie. I simply relaxed as best as I could and he went to work and it was superb!

I had always hated the dentist until I found Stillwater. The entire staff is wonderful!!!. I especially would like to say that Dawn is the sweetest & kindest hygienist. Dr. Calderon is the best. I hate, can’t express hate going to the dentist. Doctors I don’t mind, but dentist, they scare me. They exaggerate work that’s not needed or do sloppy work. I hate to write this review because this location and her are like my secret, but I won’t be stingy. She’s very attention to detail. She listens to your concerns and checks for solutions. She won’t recommend or do a thing unless needed to be done for your teeth. She genuinely cares for her patients. I absolutely love her.

This was my first visit to Stillwater. I didnt have a regular dentist since moving to the Alamo ranch area. I had a toothache so it was an emergency visit and they were able to see me the next day. This is my first time in Stillwater office. My sister recommended this place she told me her Dr. is very careful and patient. When I checked in I was not able to see the same dr because she was off but they told me all their staff is incredible.... They weren’t lying!!! I will be making this my dental office and when I have kids I’ll be taking them there too

The staff was excellent and so is the doctor. I immediately felt comfortable and was able to my problem fixed. They are just very thoughtful and you just don’t see the level of kindness I was shown anymore.

We drove over an hour to utilize Stillwater after reading the reviews. After over a year of being passed around and not having our account serviced, it has now been sent to collections. Not due to non payment but due to Stillwaters failure to properly process our insurances We have not one, but two insurances who cover our dental. FEDERAL Blue Cross Blue Shield and GEHA. We have attempted contacting Stillwater MULITPLE times, and yet were are still in collections. When they actually answer the phone we are told it will be fixed and yet another bill with another late fee comes to our mailbox. After collections contacted us, we are then told the singular individual for the entire company that could help us at this point, Blade, will be out for the rest of the week. We were so happy with the care we received here, but the billing department has left us in a point of having to choose another dental office.

This is my second time at this location and the staff here is VERY helpful and friendly. The front desk lady’s went out of their way to get my VA voucher in time for my scheduled appointment. My dental tech Gabriella was awesome at breaking down the hole dental process as she goes through your cleaning and examine. She also breaks down the hygiene process for your teeth and the importance of flossing. She was very knowledgeable in her job. Highly recommend!!

Very friendly and thorough team. They have been pretty good about keeping appointment times so I wasnt left waiting around. A couple of small issues with insurance that I had to pay attention to but they were resolved quickly.

We were very impressed with the level of customer service as well as steps taken to mitigate COVID. Dr. Patel and his staff won over my son’s heart by taking time to listen to him and acknowledge his contributions and questions regarding his care. My scheduled appointment was cancelled and I was not informed at all. They said they meant to call, but didnt. I rescheduled for a week later, and when I showed up, they had no record of my appointment. They also just stopped the free whitening for life deal. Last visit I sat in the chair for 30 minutes before I saw anyone. I have been going here very 6 months for over ten years. Sad to see how disorganized they have become. Fool me once, Shame on you. Fool me twice... Time to find a new dentist.2 stars because historically they werent terrible.

My daughter and myself were in need of a new dentist and was referred by a friend. I must say I am so happy we try Stillwater Dental! Front office was amazing and wait time was not long at all. Dr. Brandon and Dawn were so professional and at the same time so nice. They both took the time to explain everything, we did not feel rushed. Staff is caring and makes you feel comfortable.

My other dentist retired after seeing him for over 20 years. It took me 4 dentists to find this one. Dr. Brandon does a great job and cares. They have the best staff in town here and truly care about their clients. My family comes here now and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My appointment with Stillwater was awesome as always! Luckily there were no new cavities to report. The hygienist (I don’t remember her name...sorry) was very thorough and informative. She always does a great job engaging in conversation and advising me of ways to care for my teeth. Dr. Brandon was just as awesome. He has a great personality, does a good job keeping me informed, and definitely makes my trips to the dentist enjoyable. I would recommend Stillwater to my family and friends. Oh wait my wife and co-workers are already patients!! Keep up the great work Stillwater!!!

The only problem I had with them is the scheduling department. They rescheduled my appointment twice. Rescheduling a full-time working mom isn’t a good thing. My schedule is already tight so when I make my appointment the first time, I want it to stay as is. Other than that, my experience was great with technicians, dentist, and hygienist. Extremely friendly and personable. They treated me and my kids with great care!

I always have a great experience at this office. Recently my hygienist was Leslie and she was super sweet and professional. My teeth were in pretty rough shape when I first came in to see them a few years ago but slowly my oral health is getting back on track. Thanks Dr Brandon and everyone else at your office!

This was my first visit for a consultation and the very moment I walked in the staff at the desk was very nice and friendly. The paperwork wasn’t time consuming as soon as I sat down they called me in. The young lady who took my X-rays was super nice and comforting I had felt a little nervous since I haven’t been to the dentist in awhile. The Dentist was very nice and funny I felt comfortable, any other place I’ve been to they were serious and not very friendly. I’d recommend this place to anyone afraid to go. Super nice staff and I think I’m going to get the best care here!

This is the worst dental office I’ve seen here in the Alamo ranch area. They charge the customer a fee when they have done no work whatsoever. I paid the bill back in sept. Of 2019, but they continue to bill me. Stay away from these thieves. They don’t know what they are doing. They need to be closed down for good. They are lousy at what they do. Don’t go near this place or else you will have problems, I guarantee it. Avoid still water dental, they are your worst nightmare.

I had my first appointment at Stillwater dental care yesterday. I was impressed by the way they have setup the office to keep their staff and clients safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. I had an excellent experience, I will keep this dental office as my primary on my dental insurance going forward.

8/17/21I had to update my old review since staff has changed. I went today for a cleaning. The lady at the front desk was great at checking me in. I barely had to wait for my hygienist to come get me. My hygienist took her time explaining what she was doing. I was in and out as quickly as is reasonable to expect.Read my past experiences below:just had another great experience at Stillwater Dental! Jasmine at the front desk is incredible and has been so helpful over the phone and when in the office. Gina was my hygienist and I love how she explains what it is that she is doing. She gave great tips to help improve my oral hygiene, but gave them in a kind and gentle way unlike the hygienist at my old dentist. Dr Brandon took his time examining my teeth and explained what I needed done. I was impressed by everyone i interacted with! Would definitely recommend to friends!

I don’t write reviews, but I am starting with this. This week I have visited Stillwater Dental Care at 5619 W Loop 1604 N twice and I have experienced that From the Top to Bottom level they are all well trained to show both friendliness and professionalism. First, Due to my sensitive mouth I had little bit difficulty in X-rays, but they immediately send required help. Secondly, I am very impressed with Dr. Roger D. Brandons compassionate quality he has shown for me. I found him amongst one of those rare Doctors who not only help their patients feel better but also put true and fundamental (but now a days hard to find) Medical Service values in practice while treating their patients. Thanks Dr. Brandon I am blessed.

I usually have no issue with the dentist office, but they woman who cleaned my teeth was so rough, I literally had to stop her because my gums were in so much pain. I had some calcium build up; fine, I can deal with that, but when I told her I still felt stuff between my teeth, she still proceeding to the next step and said shed go back to that. When she went back, she was so rough, mostly with the floss, that I kept bracing myself because she was so rough gliding the floss against my gums. Not just in the space between my teeth that exposed the gum, I mean DOWN on my gum. Then she kept halfway doing one of my teeth so I told her I felt stuff in between still, which, she went over all the bottom teeth like 2 more times. The last time she tried, I had a knee jerk reaction and put my hand up to stop her. I was like, please no my mouth is in pain. She kept trying to explain to me its because of the calcium build up which I explained to her, my pain is from how rough she was being. In 30 some odd years, Ive never felt that kind of pain in my mouth. I like the office, but Ill never let her clean my teeth again.

I went in for a cavity filling and Sarah and Dr. Doman were super nice and friendly. Explained everything to me and made sure I was okay and made going to the dentist more of a relaxing feeling. Everyone at the front desk is also very nice. It’s a great feeling to get amazing customer service. Thanks guys! See you at my next appointment! :)

My hygienist, Leanne, was great! She explained everything she was doing, made me feel comfortable and like family. We even got on the topic of wedding planning as I am recently engaged and she gave me great advice on wedding venues & even made sure to follow up with me after my appointment to tell me the name of a place she remembered!

I be been going to Stillwater Dental by Alamo Ranch for over 10 years now and I’ve always gotten great service. Dr Brandon treats you like family; very casual family friendly environment. If you don’t feel comfortable with a procedure they will make sure to fix the issue to your satisfaction. Also out of pocket costs are very reasonable compared to other dentist in the area. For as long as I have been here tells you I’m a satisfied customer.

They were able to fit me in. The staff is terrific! Super caring and compassionate about what they do. They explained everything in detail so there is no question on what is happening, what is to come, why they are doing each thing. They also do awesome with my kiddos. They actually request to go to the dentist!

Ive been a patient of Stillwater Dental Care for 7 years, it was only until Dr. Brandon took over that I have been displeased with my experience. He is very sarcastic and flippant, almost to the point I cant take him seriously and unsure about my dental care. My last appointment was the breaking point. I will preface by saying that I had three minor concerns that I intended to be addressed at this appointment. Potential cavity, wire retainer, and recession on one tooth/gum. As far as I could tell he was careless with his exam, lacked thoroughness. When consulting with me after his exam which only consisted of blowing air on my teeth, I questioned the 3 concerns to each he replied almost with a shoulder-shrug demeanor, I can fix it for you if you want..... Aside from his dental (lack of) care, my hygienist is wonderful! She has always provided a great and thorough cleaning and is warm and friendly. My experience with the front desk staff has always been a very positive experience, too. This unfortunately, however, is not enough for me to refer anyone I know, or give 5 stars solely based on my experience with Dr. Brandon.

From the front desk to the dental chair it was a great experience. Everyone is very professional and kind. The dental hygienist was absolutely amazing! She took the time to explain what she was doing step by step and she was very friendly. Dr. Brandon is very nice and professional and has a great sense of humor. He is also every good at what he does! Thank you all for such a positive experience. For me going to the dentist is stressful, so its nice to have this type of experience.

Best dental technician

Weve been going to Stillwater Dental for almost 2 years. The staff is always friendly and efficient. They get us in and out pretty quickly and we never have to wait for more than a few minutes. Dr. Brandon is playful and friendly with my little ones, making them feel at ease. I never leave there feeling scolded or judged, which unfortunately has happened at other dentists offices. He also sees adults, so we can take care of all our visits in one place. If youre looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Stillwater Dental.

Appointments and patient scheduling for examination needs to be improved.Tardy response to requests. I was told no doctor is available till August 6. So what ? There are other clinics. I checked on google. Some of the same doctors are attached to competitor dental clinics(If they have stopped serving there, then they should ask those clinics to remove their names)

I went in for my visit yesterday and I absolutely enjoy it, as always. Everyone in the front desk was very friendly and are quick on attending each person that walked up. I was very pleased with doctor that I met. They are super outgoing and very knowledgeable. I had lots of question and they took very good care of my needs and concerns. My dental hygienist was so outgoing, funny, caring and lovely. Over all Im had a great visit and will always returning to them for my any cleanings and treatments.

Absolutely amazing experience. Not easy for me to say especially when I have a fear of dentists. I felt welcomed and comfortable and am grateful to be a patient here.

First time coming here. Check in was easy and the female dental assistant and female dentist were the very nice. They made sure to let me know what they were doing every step of the way and the dental assistant was very reassuring. Great staff from the front desk to the assistants.

Went in for a cleaning. Gina Tarin was the best hygienist Ive had yet. She informed me along the way of what was going on, gave me updates on my status from my previous appointments and even gave me alternatives on my 2 missing teeth that the dentist previously sent me to a specialist to get implants on I which the specialist would charge 12,000. I had given up on the teeth but Gina gave me other options that may be available for me that the dentist did not inform me of. Hands down my best appointment yet.

This was my first visit to Stillwater dental and overall the experience was very good. Jen did an excellent job on my cleaning. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful as well as the technician that did the x-rays. The paperwork process went very quickly since forms were given to me in advance for registration and the checkout process was also very quick. My encounter with the doctor was very brief since this was our first meeting so I will update my review after Ive had my dental work done.Updated April 3,2019 - I have been extremely satisfied with the service provided by the doctor and staff members. They are very caring and attentive to my needs. They always take time to explain the procedures and follow-up to make sure Im doing ok. I highly recommend them and have upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars.

I like the dentist and his work. I always ask for what the cost of the procedure will be. Their office calls my insurance and verify coverage amount. Then I am given what my out of pocket cost will be. I am given a printout of the itemized costs which of course includes my share. But after every procedure without fail I receive a bill from the Network Provider associates which this office is affiliated with, stating I owe more money. I call and tell them I was given what my cost was, I paid this cost and somehow now I owe more. Of course I do not get an adequate explanation and I have no recourse but to pay it.

Always have a great experience with Dr. Brandon and his staff. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I like not feeling “rushed” through my appointment and them taking the time to explain everything to me so that I understand.

I was nervous going to a new dentist after years with my old one. I wanted to find a good office for myself and others on my dental plan. I researched reviews and location and found Stillwater Dental. I was extremely pleased with my experience there from beginning to end! The front desk personal was very nice and welcoming. My hygienist was gentle and thorough throughout my exam. Dr Archer was pleasant and informative and came up with a game plan for my treatment. The anxiety that comes with seeing a new doctor was completely washed away.

Ive gone to Stillwater for six years, and have been seen by Dr Brandon for the last three. The BEST dentist Ive ever been to! The WHOLE staff are SUPER! Had a crown put on earlier this year. During the 20-30 mins of prep that needed done to fit the temporary crown in place they didnt say a word to each other. Was like they were reading each others mind! He never had to ask for a thing, it was ready when he moved a hand. The best part was that one minute hed be singing and shed be humming, and then shed sing and hed hum.....and not bad at all! Great attitude in every person there! Wish I could have had dentist like this 50 years ago when I was a kid! Have to move to Ohio and sure will miss this bunch. Thanks Stillwater Dental, yall are too fun!!

I have the highest respect for this place. Went to another Dentist right down from Stillwater and they wanted to charge me thousands to pull my wisdom teeth. I told them that I dont need them pulled since they are giving me no problems. I decided to check with Stillwater and they stated something completely opposite. I trust them with my teeth. I love the friendly staff and the Dentist that just loves to give me a hard time. All worth a visit if your new to town and looking for that perfect place.

Everyone was nice and on time, i was happy I could finally find a place with appointments at a later time until, after having scheduled the appointment for a cleaning Im told that Id need another appointment for the cleaning, that there was only time for the evaluation, that didnt save time as i expected, all the contrary, now I have to go to all the trouble again just for a cleaning. I liked the place I had gone to before and timing made me change, after getting this done Ill just go back to the previous place, as this is the first place where this has ever happened to me.

I had an appointment schedule in the morning, I show up and they tell me that my appointment has been rescheduled for the afternoon. I never received a call/voicemail indicating that the time had changed. I asked if anything could be done to accommodate the scheduled time as I couldn’t leave work again. The assistant comes back to tell me that they can’t see me at all and that I would have to come back another day since they were fully booked. I understand your a business and profit is important but the lack of care and communication is utterly disappointing.

Had a great experience at Stillwater Dental. Dr Brandon and his staff are so friendly and helpful. Dr Brandon came out to speak to me about my daughters cleaning and asked if I had any questions. He encouraged my daughter to brush daily when I told him that now that my daughter was approaching teenager years she was slacking a bit on brushing her teeth as often as she should. My daughter enjoyed the visit and wants to do a better job at brushing and flossing. So thankful! 😀

Dr. Doman and Cassandra were wonderful. I have had a few bad experiences in the past elsewhere; however, this was a great experience. They were caring, attentive, and professional.

Please stay away. I was told I needed a crown and my husband, with perfect teeth, was told he had three cavities. Two years later and after regular dental visits, we have yet to have these issues or need the recommended treatment. These dentists are crooks looking to do unnecessary work.Edited to add: obviously I am not an active patient. I very much have the correct location, people relocate.

Staff was very friendly and put me ease from the moment I walked in. This was my first visit to their office and I was very nervous, but the warmth I felt from the staff and Dentist quickly settle my nerves and it was a great experience!

Dr Doman and crew were awesome! I had an urgent need for a filing and evaluation of severe tooth pain. They found a fractured tooth and generated a specialist referral and helped with my pain. Couldn’t have asked for better care.

I always have a good experience at Stillwater. They are always on time, I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment after checking in. All the staff is great and professional from the front office, hygienists, and Dr. Brandon.
