Had a cavity removed. No pain. Dr and assistant were courteous throughout . Always made sure I was comfortable and doing well throughout the procedure. Have been coming here 20years

Dr Cappetta did a Laser apicoectomy and it went great. I healed quickly and with very little pain. Great staff and I highly recommend!

I was a client of Dr. Capettas for approx. 14 years.The dental care here and quality of staff has always been excellent, but know this: Capetta is also a good salesman. I dont fault him for this, as Americas dentistry standards are hilariously disproportionate to those of many other developed countries; I simply mean to raise awareness to others who, like I was, may be somewhat young and naive. For example:As an adolescent, I was told that my under-bite would eventually result in my bottom teeth scraping against my upper gumline, and that my front teeth would fall out. More than a decade later, Ive never gotten braces, nor a retainer, and I have not suffered one bit because of it.As a teenager, I had a small, benign crater in one of my canines. While getting the filling, I asked Capetta what was so important about getting this, to which he said, well you dont want it to look like crud.When I got my wisdom teeth taken out, it went as smooth as could be!Lastly, Capetta was constantly trying to upsell me on a frenectomy. Definitely not something a lot of people need, but if youre insured and have an $250 lying around... sure, why not.So thats my experience, take it for what it is!

It is hard finding a dentist in a new place when your from out of town so I was lucky to have found Dr Cappetta. I have worked in insurance before and our company payed 100% for dental, what we dont specify is its only up to $1,500 and we were one of the best ones. So people complaining about insurance didnt bother me because I know how bad they are. They keep raising the rates and paying less for what you need. We get a lot of people canceling their insurance all together every year. But I felt the Dr and staff ware very professional it has a very relaxing atmosphere they have treats and coffee for patients. The office makes you feel pampered. Its not a clinic its a private office. The Dr shows you the problems with an actual camera on a screen right in front of you so you are able to see the problem yourself. And coming from Austin the prices were very reasonable I felt I paid a little and got a lot. And no my insurance didnt pay everything but I didnt want clinic dental work either.

Dr. Chris Cappetta is an excellent dentist. I have been his patient for many years and have had various procedures performed by him. I even had an emergency once and he met me at his office on his day off! I have complete trust in him and have been pleased with the outcome every time. He really cares about his patients and it is evident. His bedside manner is superb and his office staff is extremely nice and helpful. I would not think of changing dentists!

Fantastic and patient staff! These guys are very thorough. I also enjoy the fact that they give you an itemized statement for work you would LIKE to have done, so you can budget appropriately. They also work with you on billing. Great office!!!!!

Came here for routine cleaning when searching for a dentist in SA many years ago. Went back for routine cleaning 6 months later and somehow ended up needing 8 cavities to be filled???!! Went to another dentist for a second opinion as authorized by my insurance and sure enough, no cavities were found and have been with my dentist, whom I trust, ever since. Never again went to Cappetta’s office. They called trying to schedule appt to “get things started” and offered to budget out a payment plan. I told them I was no longer a patient of theirs. Be weary and do your due diligence.

Professional, always on schedule and a pleasant experience (considering it is the dentist). The staff is very friendly and they really seem to care about their work. I would recommend this office to anyone.

A few years ago, I was new to San Antonio and needed a new dentist. So, I thought I would try Dr. Cappetta. At first I had no issues with a routine visit. It wasnt until I went to go get a few cavities filled. Before the visit, the clerk gave me a estimated price of $220 for the fillings on one side and $130 for the other. Which at that moment, that seemed fair. So I went the first day and gave them the $220 and had no issues. The second day I showed up for my last filling and the clerk goes ...oh and by the way, your insurance didnt cover as much as we thought. Its going to be another $500. I was blown away at how they could be off by $500. She said I could pay it later but what really got me was when she said oh dont worry, just call your dad. Im sure he wouldnt want you walking around with a cavity. Keep in mind I was about 20 when all of this happened. I dont know if I came off as a ditzy little daddys girl but there was no way my dad was going to pay that. AVOID THIS PLACE. Ive gone through several other dentists since and have never had this problem.

I have been with Dr Cappetta for many years. I recommend him to friends and they are always greatful I did. One of my friends was told she needed a root canal in Dallas where the Dr was ready to do it right away she waited to come back home. When she went to Dr Cappetta he showed her with the camera and X-ray that she just had a Big cavity needing a filling. He always save me money!!

There is the constant awareness that Dr. Cappetta is genuinely concerned with the welfare of his patients and in his ability to bring to bear the leading edge of dental technology. I had a horrible experience with this dentist. I went in for my first exam and cleaning. They did a comprehensive exam and told me I was pre-periodontal and needed root planing and scaling. Im 24 years old. There was no way my teeth were that far gone, especially when I compared to the pictures displayed in the office. I went to another dentist, and sure enough, only a basic cleaning was needed. They were appalled that another dentist would recommend me getting planing and scaling. Also, Dr. Cappettas office stuck me with the bill because my insurance didnt cover 100%. They are kidding you when they say the bill will be covered. They are extremely expensive and know that even if your insurance company doesnt pay the full amount because it is so high, YOU will be forced to. Go to another dentist!

I went to Dr Cappettas clinic as I really needed to see a dentist after 3 years. I am the kind of person who gets nightmares about dentists, so I was really scared about possible pain etc. I went for a regular cleaning procedure and for getting my 2 cavities filled. Everyone in the clinic were awesome and eased my fears. Dr Capetta is anything but awesome. I came out of the clinic with great teeth and feeling happy. During both my visits, I had zero pain and my teeth feel fantastic. I am sure most people fear dentists like me, but I would highly recommend you all to go to this clinic as people are friendly and they take special care of you. You will surely get your moneys worth!! I specially recommend all to follow the instructions as they say - I have a new found respect for baking soda and hydrogen peroxide!!!

Just moved to SA and found the best dentist in the whole city with an excellent staff very friendly too.

This dentist is very nice and calming for what can be a stressful procedure. He is very knowledgeable and I recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist that will remember your name and give you one on one treatment, rather than shuffling you through the motions of treatment.

Dr. Cappettas office is the most comfortable dental office I have ever visited. Dr. Cappetta is very caring and gentle. They provide a home style atmosphere with coffee, water and snacks along with a movie area for my kiddos when I need to take them with me. My kids even had the opportunity to take their favorite movie and watch while they waited on me. The front office girls are very helpful and always have big smiles on their faces. The hygienist is very informative and helped me understand what MY part is at home to have a healthy mouth. Thank you Dr. Cappetta for your great care and attention for my oral health.

Dr. Cappetta is the friendliest dentist Ive ever known. He used laser dentistry on me and it was a great experience. If you don’t like being “drilled” at the dentist, then laser dentistry is what you need! The laser acts like a drill but you don’t need to get shots of novacaine to get fillings using a laser. I got a pretty large filling and there were no shots and no pain. Walking out of the appointment without being all numb and without drooling was really great - especially since I had to go back to work right after! I highly recommend trying laser dentistry with Dr Cappetta to everyone! You can’t go wrong with this!!!

I have a bad experience with this office, they are just fooling you by saying your insurance will cover you and then you stuck with them and with their bills. just they fool you to get your money. they told me the insurance will cover me, then i received a bill from them because the insurance didnt cover. i called the insurance they told me that the office didnt ask for my history. they dont care, just they care to take your moneyi dont advice to go to this dentist
