I visited the Shades of Love store on June 1, 2021 looking for a gift for a friend of mine. The best adult store in the city, you dont fell weird about buying items in that store. Everyone on staff is amazing from jessika to the owner. The have great mystery bags that is a little surprise to spice up the bed life. By far the best shop in San Antonio.

Went in 1/22/21 evening. Lady behind the counter didnt acknowledge me for over 15 minutes. Only said hi then was talking on the phone the next 20 minutes while i browsed.Never once asked me if i was looking for anything or if I needed assistance.It has the facade of a nice place but without good employees its just nothing special. Things on display are nowhere to be found new in box.

This is one of the best shops I have ever been to. Rosemary was professional, kind, and helpful. They also have amazing plus size options which can be hard to find. Many of their options are flattering which has not been my experience with lingerie from other retailers. They carry an excellent selection. The quality is also very good with a great price.

Lorraine assisted me when I visited. I appreciated her not only showing me what I needed, but educating me on the safest brands. Her personality made the experience way more enjoyable, and I didnt feel judged like I have in other adult stores. There is a great selection for everyone and the prices are great for the quality of products.

I wrote a story for the San Antonio Current about this place about 10 years ago, and it’s been my go-to shop ever since. Well-stocked, well-run, female friendly. Don’t be shy about asking questions or expressing preferences! Rosemary is always helpful and fun to talk to. It’s an inspiring, educational woman-run business and I recommend it completely!

This place is a very disappointing establishment! I went in a instantly smelt mildew, almost like wet dog. There’s gnats flying around everywhere (I assume from the food the girl was eating behind the register). The cashier just sat down the entire time never offered help, had their phone out the entire time. Lingerie looked so cheap and old. The toys looked like they were in super cheap packaging. I would never shop here. I would give Zero stars honestly.

I have been to this store a few times and have had a good experience. Very friendly staff and a tasteful variety of products. Lost of sexy clothing for women. I would recommend it to spice up any relationship. Also great for the sexy Halloween costumes, it is never to early to shop around for that. Have fun!

I visited this store a few weeks ago, looking for something that I really liked online. They didn’t have it in the store so I asked about it and the owner was extremely helpful and ordered it had it shipped to store within a few days. I’ve been to several adult stores before, this is by far The BESTone I’ve been to. Not only are the prices very cheap compared to other stores the staff is extremely helpful and they really care about helping you find what you’re looking for if they don’t have it don’t get it for you! And they were give you the price that is online instead of the price in store. If I could rite them with six stars I would. I will definitely be back to visit them

This is the most amazing adult store I have ever been in. Comfortable u dont feel any pressure has a womans touch, it does not feel as it would with stores that is run by men u dont feel there eyes following you. OMG... My absolute new favorite beautique and it snuck up on me as I was driving by so made a u-turn and figured I would just run in and check it out as I do every other I come across. Upon entering I was immediately impressed with cleanliness as well as presentation and downright cuteness of this boutique. As the owner came out with the friendliest welcome Ive encountered by far. I believe her name was Mary Ann? Oops but last name was Arguello because not only did I purchase something but I also got her Sons card from his tattoo shop LOL all in all it was a quick pit stop but will definitely be going back. After visiting Shades of Love, I found it to be a classy and upscale establishment unlike others including Love Shack and Temptations. The store contains a vast variety of quality products, and the staff members are both sensitive and EXTREMELY knowledgeable on their own products as well as information of a more intimate nature. Ditch the other places, and go to Shades of Love!

I had never been to Shades of Love before until today and I was impressed! The prices are so much cheaper than Adult Video Megaplex and feels a lot cleaner. I will without a doubt be going there from now on! Great service as well!

I walked into the store and didn’t even know there was an employee behind the counter. The whole time there, I was never greeted or asked if I needed assistance. Another lady went up to the counter asking for help in looking for a toy. The employee behind the counter just pointed to the testers on the wall and didn’t help her any further. Wow, no customer service skills.You walk in and it’s sort of dark and not easy on the eyes. The whole vibe of the store is out of date. The items were dust, sticky and disorganized. With the shape of the store, it looks like the employee needs to step out from behind the counter and start cleaning up the store and their customer service skills.

I lost a bet with my wife and as part of my payment I had to wear some womens clothing and go to this store and get an item and an outfit for me to wear and my wife and her friends to use at a party she threw. It was embarrassing as it was obvious what I was wearing underneath but the folks at the store were tremendous. Rosemary in particular was tremendous. No judgement, no embarrassing comments about what I was wearing. She also suggested some items she said my wife would probably like for the purpose of the party and she was spot on. She knew what would be fun and what would work for me and she was a true professional, not making me feel embarrassed in the least. Thanks for all you did!!! I highly recommend the store and staff.
