I always go here for the oil changes and ill have you know that I have a 2 year old car and I refuse to go to any dealership because they always try and f#%& me over. This walmart auto center is professional and they get the job done right. Thank you Maria, Alicia, and your team of hard workers for being there when I need you the most ❤.

We purchased a battery back in March that is no longer taking a charge. We went in today to get it replaced, they made me wait an hour and half after saying it would be a few minutes to see if it will take the charge. When going back in to check the charge they said I would have to wait another hour or longer even though I stated from the beginning the battery is not taking any charge. Requested a manager who came back to argue with me (JOSE) and when I requested a higher support or corporate number he said there was no one else to talk to and he would just tell them I wouldn’t let them charge the battery, after already having it for hours. They then threw my replacement battery outside in the pouring rain and called the Walmart cop on duty to try to kick me out in the pouring rain. Cop then tried to approach me with his hand on his gun while I was in my car. Horrible customer service, horrible products. Do not bring your service here.

Would have given no starts if I could have. There were like 5 auto care ppl in there just standing around talking to each other they didnt even notice me

A complete joke. No one seems to know what they are doing when it comes to changing a tire. Was told it would be an hour and a half wait max (hardly anyone there) and ended up waiting almost 3 hours. Never again.

Got the Oil changed, waited an Hour because they were short handed with workers. I had to wait in the small section by their register and slash Tire Section because it is closed off to the rest of the Store. You can not go shopping because it is closed by a Large Yellow Gate on Roller Wheels. Not Happy with that SITUATION 😕.

For the last 6 mo they keep saying they are out of 5W30 Quaker State oil.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I came to get 1 of my tires replaced today at 3:30pm. Not only did I have to wait 45 minutes to be helped outside but I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before getting up to see what was taking so long and they STILL had not moved my car up in the drive way. I then went to ask one of the mechanics if they were helping me and he said no not until we finish replacing 4 tires on this car (that they were just pulling in). I waited for 3 hours before my car was even touched. I would not recommend coming here unless you’re okay with a 3 hour wait. On top of that they don’t answer the phone so I would not even call.

Two years ago I was here and two years later the same crappy slow ass service without a smile. In at 0914 out at 1107. Two hours to put on four tires? SMHI was the first tire replacement without anybody ahead of me and that is what I got. Said I wouldnt go back last time, definitely not going back the next time

My husband says theyre fast. Theyre helpful. Its clean. They even have very comfortable leather chairs to sit and wait for your car.

Im still waiting after an hour and a half. Brought my rim to buy tire. Have been here since 7:05am which was the earliest place that open. I was the first one in line. So frustrated that employees came in late and take their sweet time just to take tire off rim, replace it with a new tire and still they are telling me I have to wait 20 more minutes. I do not recommend this place. I should have hone to Discount Tire which opens at 8 and was closer to home. Its already 8:32am. Could have been done by this time.

Went to have my tire repaired, I was told they would check if my tire is repairable, I replied with I know for a fact that I ran over a nail and the tire would not have to be replaced a simple patch should take care of it, then the tect reply with if its repairable then he did not have the patches he needs for repairs and I would have to purchase a new tire I replied the tires are no more then two months old and what is insurance is for if he is not going to honour it that didnt make any sense due to this is a tire shop and I have purchased road hazard insurance and patch and plugs should always be in stock, so I ask the cashier to call for a manager she replied that he was on break and kept on checking out other customers and never did so. So I walk around till I found a supervisor I explained to him what had happened he said it didnt make any sense and demanded I get a new tire and made things right, when the manager questioned the text he fumbled with words then after he removed my tire he said there was nothing wrong with my tire, then I guess I have lost my mind cause I was sure I had to pull out my compressors to air up my tire to go there, so I told him let me look for that supervisor again, that changed his mind at the end I walk out with a new tire and my warranty honored

We went in for oil change, last customer, almost closed, was greeted and treated appropriately. Car was done in timely manner and only one guy doing the work on last 3 or 4 cars. Thumbs up.

Came in for an oil change and the guy said there was only one car in front of mine. I winded up waiting 2 hours for them to just start on it. People that got there right after me were getting told it was an hour wait.Id recommend just dropping your car off if you come to this location because every time I come they take about an hour or longer than they say. The only reason I didnt give this one star is because they gave me 10% off.

Overall the place took about 2 1/2 hrs to get my car through with only a couple of cars in front of mine. They also said they would notify me when the car was done, but they never did. They 3 stars is for the prices that they offer, which was $47 for full synthetic oil change.

The kids here are half assess. I went shopping for some tires and they wouldnt look up the size for my car cause hes get too many results. I then gave them the exact tire size currently on the truck and they only had 2. I asked if he could check if another Wal-Mart had them and he said they couldnt check. BS. He was just too lazy to look it up. Thats fine. I went to a professional tire shop instead.

Dont even bother coming here if its going to be after 1 oclock. We were planning on getting ONE tire changed, ONE and Im not sure if it was the manager or what but some women told the girl at the computer that it was gonna be a 3 to 4 hour wait!!!!! And not only that but she said right in front of us and the other customers that she was going on break and by this time, after waiting in the long line itself, it was already close to being 2 oclock! So obviously that reflects how extremely slow they are to provide service to their customers...

I got an oil change and it was satisfactory. The wait was way too long, I waited three hours for my car to be finished.

Benz needed a battery. Found quickly a 585cca version which fit cars compartment. Asked Luis about recommendations cca/available voltage/reserve voltages. Very knowledgeable and kind.

I literally waited 2hrs in line to buy a battery. Yes 2 hours! Longest 2 hours of my life.

Tezel and Culebra Walmart provides good service

I went to pick up a car battery & Anthony, the sales clerk @ the counter, went out to get my old battery & then took the new one & placed in my car. Walmart is my go to place because I dont have to break the bank when I shop there!

Walmart on Potranco and 1604 in San Antonio is terrible. I called at 6pm prior to going by to see if I could get an oil change and the lady said that they close at 7pm but they could get it done. I drove there and arrived about 6:20pm and I believe the same lady said that it was a three hour wait. When I told her I just called and the lady on the phone said they could do it she said that there are customers waiting and that it was a three hour wait. So I asked if she was going to be doing oil changes till 10pm she shook her head and said no. My question is how is it a three hour wait for customers but they close at 7:00 and they arent going to be working till theyre done but its a three hour wait? And by the way she was vacuuming the same area on a car for about 10 minutes while I waited for someone to help me. Will never go there again!

Get there and the bay is closed, why?Guess call before getting there and post it on the internet that it just might be closed.Was very disappointed. Not cool 😕

Arrived to automotive for a tire repair, 15 minutes before opening of tire dept. Second in line. Went inside to give them the keys and tell them what I wanted. Clerk asked if there was a wheel lock and I said there was, its in the glovebox. He said he would put that in the comments. 2 1/2 hours later they ask again about the wheel lock, I mention that I told them it was in the glovebox when I came in. Then it became he (the tech) couldnt find it. They led me to the car where I opened the glovebox and the wheel lock literally fell out. 3+ hours for a tire repair.

Terrible experience. Went at noon on a saturday and was told that my car would take three hours for an oil change, and at three hours, my car wasnt even in the bay. I went to ask the cashier at the counter and she told me when it hits the bay it will be done in thirty minutes. The young man who helped me outside said it takes twenty minutes a car and there was seven in front of me with two technicians working.They dont have a legitimate seating area at this location; they have two metal benches around a small TV in the tire department. Youre right by the door thats constantly opening, but not on its own, the cashier has to buzz it open. Theres no good way to get view of your car, so theres no way to know if your car is in the bay or not.At three thirty the line for the checkout section of the automotive department was nine people long. The girl at the front was alone to handle all of the work. It is clear to me that this department has bad staffing practices. If they had adequate staff, the wait times would not be so outrageous. They did not vacuum and they did not do a decent job of washing the windshield.My key was brought in by a staff member at 3:40 and I was stuck watching waiting for ten minutes while she talked to a man about tires.When I finally get into my car its nearly four pm, and it took Walmart four hours to do something that takes the competition thirty minutes.Just go to Jiffy Lube. Its not worth the wait, even if you can do your grocery shopping or whatever. At least their competitors bother to make the waiting room comfortable. Ill never be back to this location, and I will never let Walmart touch my car, either.

Gave this location a second chance, the 1st time I was here, I arrived at 6:30 PM for an oil change (7 PM closing) and was turned away because were closing at 7. On the other hand, arrived @ the Potranco & 1604 location at 6:55 and I never knew they closed at 7 until AFTER they did my oil change with a smile and it came up in conversation. The experience is a night and day difference!I came back today thinking it might have been an isolated event, not the case! Now I too know why the ratings are this low. This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced! I will NOT return to this location and cannot rightly recommend anyone to either.

Had to get my keys made. Guy did it really fast. I feel bad for them because the customers that come by are so mean xD these people are under staffed and usually have like one or two people working there. Blame it on the bad management, not the staff. Management has been bad here for way longer than some of these people have been employed

I know Walmart Auto can be slow but this place is the worst. They said it would take 45 minutes to get to my car. It was in the garage, hood open. It took them over an hour to get to my car because they were short staffed. This is the worst walmart auto ive been to.

Horrible service. They don’t breakdown the services you are getting and surprise you at the end. Plus rude and unprofessional workers. I asked if I could talk to the manager and he just sent the worker back to me. He didn’t even want to talk to me about my concerns.

They are rude and careless since the first time we went to purchase tires. They also seem they dont know what they are doing there! This place is bad!!

Tire Center says it opens at 7am, I arrived at opening and Walmart employee told me no one could fix my tire until a tech arrives at 9am! Why state the tire center opens at 7am if there is no staff?!

I purchased what I needed. However, its really lie staffed. I had to go over to the garden center to pay cause there was a really long line with no one at the register.

They take long even if there is no customers and they let me leave with all my fluids to one of the cars I sell empty

It was too slow on services, cashier was new and doing other things also, the line away had more than 10 people waiting, for hours.

They couldnt even change my air filter..couldnt figure out how to get it open...

Customer service was really bad, I had been doing our oil changes at that store and now they couldnt do it. Plus the truck was dropped off for 3 hours just to be told that.

They didnt put my mileage sticker in the corner of my window. When i asked for one nobody seemed to care, they couldnt find a pen to write with neither. So, one of the mechanics wrote the info on the back of a piece of paper. True Walmart value system.

Customer service wasnt to great. Other customers were getting upset for last minute notice that oil changes werent been taken due to only having one teq.

My tire light came on so I went to walmart since I bought the tires from them last week. They told me it would be 2hrs since its first come first serve and theres a LOT of oil changes. Ok 3hrs latter I leave. Drive 40 miles and the light comes on again. Turns out they fixed the wrong tire. I come back this morning they tell me another 2hrs. They take 3 customers before me . When I complain to the service manager Roxanne all I get is a very rude attitude. Now Im worried if theyll fix it at all. Horrible service. Go to Discount Tires.Turns out they cant fix it because the leaks not in the repair zone . They didnt have the tire in stock but were able to get one that afternoon. Went back about 4:30 and left at 7.I was there last customer or Id probably still be there. In total I was there approx 7 hrs for 1 tire.

With warranty on my tires and road hazard I took my car here to fix a tire with a nail in it which is covered by road hazard they told me they could not fix it and I needed to buy another tire at full price. They charged me the tire and then 2 road hazard and 2 tire fee charges. And then come home to see scratches on my car and they scratched the tint on my back window! These people r horrible and are careless with their job.

I hate this Walmart for what they made me do look for a receipt in the trash all for one stupid dollar soda that doesnt matter it was that they embarrassed me in front of everyone even the manager was saying that the employee was doing his job and chicken receipts well he should have looked to the left I was eating at McDonalds with that soda for about 45 minutes

I called ahead to confirm that they had the tire size and brand I needed and they assured me over the phone. When I arrived they didnt have the tire brand or size I needed. A 2 hour drive for nothing 😏
