My grandparents had to get a new car due to an accident they had. Carla was their salesperson and she was amazing!! She went above and beyond to help them and make them feel comfortable. First of all my family and I were greeted with respect by Ricardo. He wasn’t acting aggressive and desperate to just get a car sail. Ricardo was honest about everything and answered all my questions. One thing that stood out was the fact that if he didn’t have the answer to a question never asked before, he was not too proud to say that he didn’t know the answer. That was refreshing because MOST salesmen will BS the customer.The staff was very friendly too include receptionist that made sure our 4 and 6 year old were taken care of during the time of the process of the Sail. Ive been to other Hyundai service centers in San Antonio and NONE of them could ever compare!!! They take pride in their work and are VERY informative every step of the way! Amber is the absolute best at what she does as well. Their system had me a bit confused because I had an appointment but I got the reminder wayyyy ahead of time and took my car in thinking it was that day. Amber was able to still work me in w/o any complications! I also love the fact that you can schedule the appointment online so convenient!

Had a pretty good experience with a wheel replacement. The service advisor was very friendly and knowledgeable. He worked with me to get the wheel replaced on my vehicle and explained the warranty process in good detail.The only downside was the wait time to talk to a service advisor, as they got slammed with vehicles early that morning and seemed pretty understaffed. One or two more advisors would have sped things up.
I reserved a vehicle using Hyundai pre-order reservation system. It confirmed my vehicle was reserved at Red McCombs Superior Hyundai. When I tried to make arrangements to come buy it, they first said they had to prep it, then said the had already reserved it for someone else. While trying to sort out the reservation error, a salesman called to say they did not have to sell to the other reservation, they could sell it first come, first serve because of high demand. I told them I was not interested in racing someone to the lot so they went back to their first story that they had to sell to the other reservation. Days later, it appeared that sale fell through so they offered to sell it to me. When I tried to confirm they werent tacking on any unusual mark-ups, I got a quote that included a $2495 Appearance Package added on. When I questioned what this was, I was quoted - Wheel locks, lifetime warranty tint, poly steel coating outside and inside, nitrogen in the tires, VIN etching on all major panels. This is just the kind of price gouging I was trying to avoid. If you want to be treated fairly, you should avoid these guys too!

I would not recommend this place for service AT ALL. We had an engine job done and at the time they told us it was covered under a recall. They did the repair job which took them 2 months. After 1 month they contacted us and let us know they would cover a rental car. We had the rental car for about a month and returned it the day we picked up the car once it was repaired.Fast forward a year later and we get a bill for $800 in the mail from enterprise. We contact Enterprise and they tell us we are responsible. We then contact this Hyundai service department and speak to the service manager Patrick. He tells us it is covered under Hyundai reimbursement program..... Ok fine so we pay the nearly $800 on our card.Fast forward another 2 months and having to call them another time because they told us the case got closed for some reason. After another week and we get a call telling us this wasnt covered for rental car reimbursement as it was a good will gesture by Hyundai.After contacting the service manager back he then sticks to his guns that this was a good will gesture and regardless of what we were told about the rental car reimbursement they are not responsible.We would never have needed a rental car if they had not offered one and they take no accountability. They tell you one thing and it turns into another. We did not post a review about the terrible service department experience we had because we have them the benefit of the doubt. Please do not make the same mistake.AVOID THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT ALL COSTS. Take it to the other dealership just not this one. I do not use the term Scam Artist lightly but Patrick and that service department are just that.

Had a great experience here. Daniel Ibarra was my salesman. He went above the normal effort to provide customer service. Took the car I wanted to go get checked out by the original dealer, bargained on my behalf, and was not at all your typical pushy salesman. He even continued researching about Tesla after he made the sell.
It started with me going online to do the application. I saw the car I wanted and applied. I didnt know how to go to the whole process but Morgan got back to me very quickly and was able to navigate me through what I needed to do. She set up a time for me to meet with her the following day. We were able to start the whole process and I was able to test drive the car. Once I was approved I was able to get my car immediately. Sam and Oscar were also amazing. They were there to answer any questions that I had and were able to make the whole experience of signing papers easy. Because it was such a good experience we came back a few days later and purchased another vehicle. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anybody. The experience was overall amazing!

I went with my friend to get some maintenance done on her car and she met with a woman named Amber in the service department and after listening to her for a few minutes she started to recommend a few additional maintenance services and I originally started to think that maybe she was just trying to sale something but after listening to her explain everything and how it could help she really impressed me and my friend who come to find out needed them cause now the car runs so smooth. I am getting ready to purchase a new car and now I know where to go HANDS DOWN! Thanks Amber!!!!!
Though this place was 13 miles further than the dealership I had been going to for my maintenance, I will definitely be coming here instead. They were able to schedule me the same day, even though I called in earlier that afternoon, and Amber greeted me as if I was a long time customer even though it was my 1st time there. She was able to pull up all my information immediately, and I didnt have to explain my maintenance account benefits with her. The dealership maintenance crew even helped my cousin, who badly needed her windshield wipers replaced, pick out wipers compatible to her vehicle and installed them for her without charge. My experience there was all-around excellent. This is why my family and I stick with Hyundai (5 vehicles).

If I could give less than one star, I would. Went on-line to look for a car using their website. Found a car I was interested in (2021 Model) and when I inquired about it, I was told it was sold. Ok, no problem, it happens. There were a couple other 2021 cars I was looking at. Then I am told, there arent any 2021 cars available. Oh, I get it. See the screenshot just taken of the vehicle still showing on the website and the discounts. They put cars they really dont have on the website to get you to come in so they can sell you a car they do have with no discounts. Go to World Car Hyundai. At least they are honest about what they have.

Just wanted to drop a comment on Red McCombs Superior Hyundai. From my experience, the Superior stands for Superior performance. My first trip there I was met by Sgt D. A US military vet, Sgt D is friendly and professional, and quickly showed me the Tucson SEL I had inquired about... side note, Vanessa in the internet sales department is very responsive and helpful. I liked the vehicle and left to think about it, and came back later. Sgt D was tied up with another customer, so she introduced me to her sales partner, Alfredo, who took me on my test drive. Alfredo was extremely knowledgeable, and knew all the features of the Tuscon... even showing and pointing out things other dealerships hadnt. After the test drive, I decided to pull the trigger, and met with the Sales Manager, Samir (hope I didnt spell the name wrong). Very transparent and no games approach, we worked towards a number. It was getting late so I returned the next day and closed the deal. Met with the finance guy, Anthony, and he was excellent too. Many thanks to the fine professionals of Superior Hyundai... from my very first interaction to my last, they were stellar. I can tell you, I looked on the internet, did my research, and visited several dealerships, but NONE were as friendly, welcoming, and customer focused as Superior Hyundai. Stop by and ask for Sgt D or Alfredo, both are excellent. Ive bought a number of cars over the years, and this was definitely the best sales team Ive worked with. If youre in San Antonio, looking for a Hyundai, there is only one choice: Superior.

The extra key fob to the vehicle I was purchasing was stolen from the salesman’s desk right before I entered the finance office. I should have walked away, however, I was promised a replacement key fob within a couple of days. Four weeks later and no key or follow up call. I’m totally disgusted with Red McCombs Superior Hyundai! I am now recommending Roger Beasley Hyundai in New Braunfels.

Anthony Speller is the man to go to! I have great credit, never missed a payment on my previous car loan and great work history so I was surprised to be rejected by Northside Honda only because my 2015 Ford Focus ST had to much negative equity which means the car is worth less than is owed. The sales man at Honda recommended Hyundai. Approaching this dealership I was surprised how spacious it was. I walked around the dealership with my sales person Anthony Speller. I then found my dream car. They were able to work with me and accepted my trade in with my ford. The rebates the dealership offered helped my negative equity with my ford. Who knew Hyundai was spanking Honda in the vehicle department, Hyundais vehicles have so many features youd think your spending 40k on a vehicle. Not to mention all the rebates you get also that amazing warranty! I am a Hyundai satisfied customer!

DONT EXPECT ANY FOLLOW THROUGH OR CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE.While Im enjoying my new vehicle and my salesperson was courteous and professional, the finance and management departments are utter disappointments.Over two months since purchasing and Im still missing copies of my paperwork.I have reached out EIGHT times, once by text (per request from the original finance department employee), twice by email, twice by phone (they were with other customers and couldnt speak with me), twice in person (also no one available to help me), and once via the contact us form on the website. Still no response, no follow up and no missing paperwork.Clearly, once theyve made the sale and happily taken your money, you are no longer a priority.This lack of professionalism and basic customer service, as well as zero respect for my time has completely tainted my first new car buying experience.Ive previously only purchased pre-owned vehicles and never encountered such behavior by a business. This whole situation has certainly been an eye opening experience.This will be my first and only purchase from this Hyundai dealership and a Red McCombs business in general.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS OR AT LEAST NOT TO RICARDO ALEMAN!!I stopped by on April 15, 2021 to look at a 2011 Nissan Armada for $10,991 with 120,486 miles. Obviously an amazing car which I was excited to go buy and my mind was set on the car. Looked great had not been cleaned out or serviced yet since it was a recent trade in. Ricardo assisted me but when I walked in and saw me wondering because no one was there to greet me he didnt say anything until we made direct eye contact and he finally came over to talk to me. After viewing the car and all we sit down to talk numbers and when he showed me the breakdown there was a $950+ fee for their 150 point inspection, TTL, $150 document fee, and some other random fee totaling to $13,500+ which still not a bad deal right? Except! That I did ask to see if I could lower it even if we take off for the car detail and wash and drive it off the lot as is. After a few words exchanged and conversation, Ricardo whispers if you see me rushing is because the people next to you are also trying to buy that car and I looked him in the eye and said is this a sales tactic? That alone made me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy, no integrity, no honestly, not amongst employees or their customers. After that, some conversation went on as well as me trying to negotiate and he comes back and says the car has been sold to the people next to you and they are paying full price so I respectfully got up from my chair, he gave me his business card and I walked out. WELL! I called the next day to see if the Armada was still there and guess what? IT WAS STILL AVAILABLE! So then today I get a call from Red McCombs and the girl on the phone asks, are you still interested in the Armada? I asked if it was still available and she said YES!! My point is, dont go and give your business to someone without integrity, honesty, and respect. I would have paid the full $13,500+ if I felt Ricardo was an honest salesman. Im in sales myself and whoever is in sales should know that the energy your give off can be felt by others and he did not make me feel comfortable, welcomed, or respected.

Worst service from the Sale Manager Sam! From the moment I saw him he looked mad and unhappy. He was rude and literally rolled his eyes at me when I asked a question regarding the car, like I should know, and to top it off I told him that he was being rude with me, that he should be able to explain it to me. And he literally walked away. I was shocked! He should have left any sales associate do their job. Hes terrible at his job clearly! I probably would have bought the car had it not been for him. So, after going on behalf of my boss to get several leases for the company, guess some other Hyundai dealership will be making a big sale today!

Our experience with this location has been disappointing to say the least. I have gone in a few times and I find myself begging for help and when we finally do get help it always feels like a rushed bother. One staff members told me they were understaffed and overwhelmed, okay, I fully understand during these times. But they make sure that you know that and it feels like they don’t care for your business at all.I’m military, pre approved with a 2020 trade in fully paid off. I’ve taken my time to know what I want and I’m ready to purchase which was the Hyundai palisade calligraphy trim, a near $50,000 vehicle.The only thing I wanted was the appearance package removed. It’s a package they as a dealership add on themselves that they make you pay for. It’s $1200 extra and it’s usually a choice to add on at other dealerships. When I asked to have it removed the First Lady said “what’s an extra $1200”Well, that’s 3-4 months worth of payments for something I didn’t have a choice in wanting.She didn’t even allow me to keep the paper that had the trade in value number for my car. Literally any other place doesn’t care about that paper, I just found it odd.Came back another time and spoke with a financial guy who originally said he can drop it to $400. Fine, done deal.Then he turns around saying, nope, can’t do that, he’ll have to remove the automatic discount (which applies to all 2021 palisades)So yet again, I’m paying for a package they add on so you pay more.After that I just left.They refuse to work with you in any way, you find yourself begging to be helped, and it was never an enjoyable experience.I’ve been to Buick, Kia, and Toyota and they were personable, fun to talk to and had plenty of people willing to help at any time.Will literally buy from any other location or dealership if it was a better experience than this.

We bought our car here a few years ago and boy do we regret it. Nothing about the process was pleasant but the worst part is the service department. Has to be the worst i have ever dealt with in my 17 years owning a vehicle. Everytime service is done wether its maintence such oil changes, tire warrenty, or alignemts it takes FOREVER. The car breaks down frequently and has been see numerous times, even though they have sworn its not a lemon. We took our car here andbwe always seem to be so lucky in having the same service rider. JUSTIN drops the ball such as not calling for status updates not following through in checking things that we asked be checked such as the clutch and filters. And other little things that we ask. This last time takes the cake though. We picked up our car after a month of no vehicle because low and behold the engine had to be replaced ( very common problem with hyundai if your wondering). It was not communicated with the owners of the vehicle whether the car was ready or not. We called multiple times and left voicemails, notes and even drove by to see Justin to get a response all left unanswered. When they did call (9 days after my call and note and visit) and say it was ready we went to go pick it up of within a hour of the call. It was not washed like it would have been at any other dealership in san antonio (try any but here you will thank me because the service department stinks) but also when we picked up our car from doing warrenty work it was not done properly so less than a week later the temperature light, check engine light was on. There was no antifreeze in vehicle when it was picked up. We placed antifreeze in it to get home from thanksgiving dinner with relatives. The engine had already been exposed to too much heat. This has caused the engine to leak antifreeze into the oil. If you dont know this can mean major mechanical issues such as a cracked engine block, blown head gasket etc. When I call and try and get it back into the shop I get told its going to be a while for them too look at it, even though its their fault it was not assembled properly. They told us maybe we should go somewhere else. Please dont make our mistake buy and get your car serviced else where. Superior Hyundai is the worst swrvice department in town.Update12/4/2019: We were called to bring car in because of this review so they could fix service. You would think this means they would be super cautious and try and make us happy. Nope still had to deal with Justin Pitchford, still not a fan. His boss Les told us that they would replenish the gas used in fixing the car. They also said it would be washed. Well low and behold no it was not. I took a picture of car dash board when they picked it up from our property and of course when I picked it up from dealer ship. As you can plainly see gas was not replensihed nor was it washed. Still not a service department I would recommend even to my enemy.²

Service went good went for a motor replacement under the recall for the 2015 Hyundai sonata for the engine rod bearing service advisor Justin took care of it but I did have to go back the next day because the engine start smoking because of the valve cover but once again y’all did take care of it thank you but on a sidenote that’s where the people working on the cars should check the new motor before installing but definitely will be back
I went in last saturday to shop around for a new car, Ricardo was my sales guy. He helped me from start to finish. He was such a great help in showing me different Hyundais and colors. Took all day for approval but i drove off in a new 2021 that evening and i love my new Elantra! Ricardo was amazing and helps the whole way through, will definitely be seeing him for future cars!-A very happy first time buyer.
Never buy a car here they hide problems well, bought a pathfinder here over two years ago was sold by some lady called sergeant, should have gone with my gut anyway here I am today after replacing about everything on this car timing chain and all 4000 in repairs so far now not including the 7000 i paid for it and now the engine is knocking again seems like I was sold a lemon but they dont care i would recommend spending your money somewhere else this is a shady company surprises me they are still around figures i guess
If it were not for an arrogant and incompetent sales manager, I probably would have bough a car from them today. There were a couple of red flags that should have turned me away such as 1) I asked to be contacted by email, yet I received a phone call almost immediately (no biggie, but still) 2) I was told that the new car I wanted to see only had about 900 - 1000 miles. It ended up having 5,000 miles and smelled like smoke.......So of course, they were trying to get me to look at more expensive cars. Thats fine. Thats their job. But when it came time for the sales manager to present an offer, I had no choice but to walk out. I questioned why the website was offering an amount and then saying that there were additional discounts available. I acknowled with him that I wouldnt be eligible for all of the discounts, but I thought I would be eligible for one of them. He laughed and said, you really thought you would get all that money off of a new car?. So I had to show him and explain to him how the website reads and then with a dumbfounded look on his face he says oh, yeah, i guess so. The sales manager should have let the Sales associate do her job. Hes terrible at his. I probably would have bought the car had it not been for him.

I went here to look at a 2019 Veloster. I own a 2013, and was interested in the new 2.0 premium. Roselyn reached out to me via text. I made an appointment with her on a Friday and showed up about 11 o’clock.She had a client, so Marcos took me for a test drive in a white 2.0 Premium. I loved the ride, but told them red or orange only.No red or orange on the lot or in San Antonio. No deal. $5,400 trade in for my 2013. No deal.Samer did some horse trading with me, we shook hands, and I drove home with my new 2.0 on Saturday (from Dallas) with Hyundai financing 2.9% / 60 months.The last time I was in a dealer was 2007 at Fernandez Honda. It was the worst sales experience I’ve ever had. I spent 11 hours at the dealer to buy a new 2007 Civic that was on the lot. 11 hours.This new car buying experience was completely different. Roselyn, Marcos, Samer and Ernest made everything happen seamlessly. I wasn’t sitting around for hours waiting for God knows what. If you’re thinking of buying a Hyundai in San Antonio, reach out to Superior Hyundai. I had a great experience, and I think you will too.

Looking to trade in a car and having bought from here previously my partner and I went to northwest hyundai and were helped by Chris P., he was very helpful and knowledgeable and took extra time to find cars he thought we would like. We did have a few other cars we wanted to look at but they were at this location so we headed out. We arrived and were helped by Morgan R. While looking at cars a lot of our questions were answered with i dont know and well, I can ask... at that point we should have left or asked for another associate, but we fell in love with one of the cars and decided to stick it out. I dont know if she was having a bad day or was overwhelmed, but the lack of customer service was appalling, we sat at her desk while she ran back and forth trying to find answers for our questions that she should have known, after sitting for over an hour she offered us water bottles that had been sitting on her desk longer than we had even been there. At one point we were discussing monthly rates and she proceeded to try to have us sign without telling us what we were even signing. She said it was a commitment to the price when we hadnt even agreed on the price! When we did finally agree to the price she said finance would be with us shortly and shooed us away so she could move on to the next customers. Finance was backed up, which is fair, it was a busy Saturday, but at no point did she check on us or give us an update on how long it would be. Other customers in the lobby were being checked on regularly, one family was given food for their kids and another couple were offered 2 free tanks of gas for their time waiting. We had not eaten and had stated it multiple times that we wanted to go soon and that if they were that busy we could come back, we were told it wouldnt be much longer and that they would ask Morgan to check on us and maybe bring us some snacks. She didnt not check on us at all. At the 6th hour of waiting we went to the front desk to tell them just to forget it, we wanted to leave. As were were speaking to the receptionist, Morgan ran over and said the manager had approved for us to take the car as a loaner and to come back Monday to finish signing. How long had she known about this? If we had just continued to sit there how long would we have been there? She proceeded to blame it on finance, but if she knew they were that busy, why continue to help customers? I dont know what happened to the people she helped after we left but I do hope they had a better experience than we did. We signed the paperwork for the loaner and she said to come back Monday to finish signing, she let us know the dealership opened at 8:30am and we said we would arrive at 8:30am and she said ok. We arrived at 8:30am. She arrived at 9am and said finance would be with us shortly. At 9:30am, after being there for an hour, we asked for an update from the receptionist and finance came out immediately, as they had just been notified we were there.This whole process was ridiculous and I wish the sale had gone to anybody else. I would not recommend coming here to anyone nor am I going to come again when its time for another trade in.
The sales staff was so professional and deeply devoted in providing the best sales experience possible. Anthony and Perla made buying a car so painless. Definitely would recommend my friends and family here!
Brought car in because of engine light on. Young man was very friendly & he said they would check & let me know if it was going to take a while so that I could wait or take shuttle home. He also directed me to main showroom waiting area as the service one was full & taking extra precaution during this pandemic was very appreciated. The problem was a coil & I was out of there in about an hour. Car is only l yr old so still under warranty..overall, great experience.

My brother came from Corpus Christi to purchase a vehicle after reading reviews he decided to come to Red McCombe and got great help with Carla Black she was super helpful answered all questions and did whatever she needed to get my brother in the vehicle he wanted at the payments he was looking for. Believe it or not she is one of the best car sales person I have encountered for the first time ever. McCombs put me in a brand new car that I can afford when no one else would. Prior to my interaction with them, I had good credit but because I am only 20 I was unable to get a down payment with another provider that I could afford, with payments and APR I could afford. I was able to get all three of these at McCombs. My sales agent, Diego, really went above and beyond and wanted to help me with anything I was concerned about and was able to answer any questions I had about the process I had before I even came in. He even offered to come and give me a ride to the dealership when I was ready since I had no way of getting there. If you are looking for a good reliable car, good customer service/assistance, and help finding the right car for you (used or new), McCombs will more than deliver. I am confident after my experience that I can rely on them to provide me with quality care, and I genuinely look forward to working with them in the future!

They want to charge $399 to fill tires up with nitrogen with unlimited life time fill ups. The atmosphere is 78% of nitrogen according to NASA. Plus they was not able to quote me a price on the spot for a car. Granted I told them I was looking to buy a car in a month when I get my license. They made the excuse that the manager was in a meeting that would take an hour. Best of luck to yall. Will never go to any Red McCombs delierships for anything. World car Kia down the street was a better experience, will buy my next car from them.

I love my new car but had a horrible experience with the sales person who was obviously only interested in the $ale but at the end did not provide me with warranty info I requested, disrespected my time and also lied about providing me with my registration sticker to his boss. This is my 3rd Hyundai purchase here and I think that in the future I will go to another Hyundai dealer if things continue in this manner. This was my worst car buying experience in my life.

I recently purchased a vehicle and worked with Alfredo Rosales. He provided excellent customer service and worked hard to make sure we were satisfied. I’m pleased with my purchase and I would highly recommend working with him.
They investigated my vehicle problem thoroughly. They took care of the recall on my vehicle. They sold me on a transmission fluid flush and a coolant fluid flush. I think they did a fine job. I just wish it was a little quicker dropping off or getting my vehicle. It literally took 20 minutes after paying my bill to have someone drop off my vehicle to me. I didnt expect that I would be waiting that long to get my vehicle back since I came to get it immediately after them calling me that it was ready. So, I think this place is fine. But dont expect it to be a speedy drop off or pick up.
Before coming to this Hyundai dealer, I went to World Car Hyundai in Live Oak and they were absolutely terrible. I couldn’t set an appointment online. They gave me 4 day window of when my car would be looked at (not worked on), and they didn’t provide a rental. When I arrived at McCombs Superior Hyundai, they were very attentive. Justin did a fantastic job taking care of me and my vehicle. Even got me a rental. McCombs Supeior Hyundai is absolutely my preferred dealer of choice. I will definitely be back for future service needs.
Had a bad experience with service manager Eddie Gamez and his boss Les Goslin.They dont want to take responsibility for a problem that occurred after a maintanance was done on my G80 sport. ($55k car)The cover under the engine bay came off and it was due to missing screws, see before picture when it happened. When I looked under there were no screws in any of the holes in the cover. They dont want to accept that it was their fault and said it was . Someone fire this guy please.

I had the worst experience there. I was simply going to pick up my tags. I was called by THEIR personnel to come pick up my tags. I was never told of an early closing time. I showed up at 4:00 p.m. and I was met with rudeness. The whole incident was primarily their fault because they were delayed in getting the tags for the new car bought at their facility. You would think they would treat someone who just spent over $40000 at their establishment a little better.
Please do not buy cars from this dealership. Trying to protect you.We purchased a used 2017 Mini Cooper from this dealership. Buying used we know things can happen. But we’ve run into many problems! Please save yourself from this dealership! The hood was repainted, while they denied any painting. We had problems with our TPM censors. Now finally getting our plates in we took the paper off and they used the bracket to cover a huge hole in our bumper! In the pictures you can see where they got paint on the light, where they repainted. In the pictures you can see where they redrilled the license bracket to hide the hole. Please do not buy from this place or let your family buy from here!!!!
Said 1 1/2 hours for a simple oil change. It has been over two hours and still not done

Super disappointed with this dealership. David Edwards was our sales associate and he has been super unprofessional since we purchased our vehicle. We are now driving with expired temp plates and still no plates 2 months after purchase. He never answers his phone and when he does never gets back with us. Not to mention we were supposed to get a wash tub pass and now they are “out of them”. This dealership is subpar and would not recommend at all. He also said that they do a 160 point inspection on used vehicles but yet we received our vehicle with the interior lights out so I guess they don’t inspect.
So convienent to take your car in for an oil change, love that
