I have been coming to the The Heights Nail Spa on Bulverde Road for years. I have never had a bad pedicure or manicure - only amazing service and amazing nails. They are very particular about cleanliness and keeping materials/tools sterilized. The salon inside is gorgeous, the massage pedicure chairs are so comfortable and relaxing. My daughter and I love to come to the spa to relax and to pamper ourselves. We would never think of going anywhere else. Jenny and Dat (plus all of their staff) are the best!

Thr best nail salon Ive been too. Ive had both the basic and deluxe pedicure, which are fantastic. I get dip on my nails. Ask for Dat! He does a great job whether you want something basic or a design. They also have some pretty good drinks which is just the icing on the cake.

The first time I went to this salon, the girl did an EXCELLENT job with my pedicure. This 2nd time I went, that girl was not there so I was placed with 2 different women. The first woman did my feet which wasnt great. She cut my toenails down way to short, first off. Secondly, the obvious shape of my toenails is square, but she made them round and did a horrible job at shaping them. After my pedicure I was placed with another woman to do my full set. I wanted a full set, with white shellac polish. This woman painted my nails so horribly, it looked like my little 10 month old daughter had painted them. They were so hideous that another nail tech came over and asked me if I wanted the woman to re paint them. I declined and told the woman I wanted a different nail tech to fix them. If the woman who had originally painted them couldnt get it right the first time, why would I think shed do it right a second time?!??!! So I sat with a different lady who attempted to fix my shellac manicure for me. She kept apologizing over and over to my. By the time she finished, I had been at the salon for over 3 hours and when I finally got in my car to get a good look at them I literally busted out in tears. My nails were still terrible. I will not be going to this nail salon again!

I wanted to hug the lady who did my eyebrows, but I didnt. Damn Covid. Todays pedi, however, was just ok; it felt rushed and she didnt cut my nails as short as I like despite me asking her to do so a couple of times. But I should mention that my previous pedicures here have been great.

Usually they are very attentive but today I got a lady that seemed like she was not happy to be there and like I was in her way. She was not very friendly.

I love this place. They are extremely courteous and professional. I made arrangements to take 5 children between the ages of 6 and 11. I realize people go to the nail salon to relax, so I worked with the staff to schedule my appointment at an out of the way time (as well as reading my kids the riot act about behavior and expectations.) We arrived and it was the perfect time, plenty of staff, perfect! I highly recommend this establishment!

I used to be a regular here until the man who I presume is the manager or owner ruined the spas experience for me. After my experience with him doing my nails and his attitude I won’t be returning. His customer service is absolutely atrocious and gave me a lecture when I expressed my disappointment with my nails. When I left I was so upset about the experience and my awful nails that I busted into tears in the parking lot

Love this salon! Everyone is so nice! Had the best pedicure/leg and foot massage ever. Beautiful and clean. Great new massage chairs and a bar with delicious beverages. Convenient to many other things. New HEB opening soon! A must try!

Horrible customer service. Ive gotten my nails done for 20 years and have never broken a nail. I tried this place out a week ago and broke a nail. I called to see if they would fix it. He told me he would have to charge me. After i spent $60 on them a WEEK ago. I then asked for his managers name he asked me why i needed that and refused to give it to me and laughed at me over the phone. Never again will i give them my service and i reccomend you not either. If i could give them zero stars i would!

I love this salon! Its family owned and operated by a kind and caring family. The items/tools they used for my pedicure taken straight from the package. I like knowing they are sanitary, and not used on others before me.

This was my first time here, it was nice and clean inside and the staff was very friendly! However...went in for a basic shellac pedicure and am somewhat disappointed with the results. The shellac itself is very dull and not as shiny as it has been in the past from other nail salons. The technician cut my nails very short and some of them were cut unevenly. I did not look closely at the cutting job until I was home, and even if I was still at the salon when I looked it wouldve been to late. The basic pedicure could be better. I have had much better basic pedicure services for the same price they charge ($31 + $20 for shellac). Overall, this is a nice, CLEAN, and friendly place and I would go again, but I think I might try out some other places first.

Very classy and very clean salon, Dat has been my nail tech for over 3 years now. I won’t go anywhere else. He is a perfectionist. Oh he makes the greatest “Tommy drink 🍹 ever”Everyone is very nice, wait time is very short, but I do call before I pop in, as a courtesy. I highly recommend The Heights Nail Spa!

The woman who was working on my feet did not fully take of my old gel nail polish off and left a lot on there. As she was working on my feet she left me there to go work on someone els and Had me waited for quit a while until someone els came to finish me off. The nail polish applied was sloppy and Lumpy because like I stated before they left gel polish from before on there. Did not like my experience here and my family and I will not be returning

Have been there two times and both times have had excellent service by Christy. She is very detailed oriented and takes her time to ensure quality. She introduced me to dipping...which I absolutely love... highly recommend them. Courteous and professional.

I was helped by a gentleman for my nails new set w/ dip powder and a woman doing my pedicure. They were working on me simultaneously. It was very clean and relaxing. I did not feel rushed and they were both so detailed and precise. I loved it.

I have only gone to Valencia since moving to San Antonio 2 years ago and it was hit and miss, on service and quality so, while on vacation I decided to make an appointment at The Heights and sure am glad I did. My pedicure was so relaxing and the end result was very nice, I did not feel rushed at all.After my pedi I had a fill with the new owner and he did an amazing job! My nails are not thick like the other salon did them . I am very pleased to have found this place and will return in a few weeks, thank you for a well needed relaxing afternoon!

Man, I absolutely HATE giving bad reviews. But Ive gone in about 4 to 5 times and wont be going back. Its beautifully decorated there and they offer beverages, which is nice. Instead of the long story I just typed out and deleted, Ill tell you the facts.They are EXTREMELY pushy with giving you something you dont want. If you still want to go, you have to stand your ground.They really push the shellac (Im assuming because it costs a lot).They like to do the nails and pedicures at the same time. Even if you ask them not to. (Personally, I want to sit and enjoy a pedicure, not have my arms jerked around and have to concentrate on not hitting my nails on anything when they have me dry them.)They skimp on the leg and foot massage, unless you really emphasize you want it. (Nancy does a decent job)The last time I went in, my nails were done HORRIBLY. She didnt do what I asked her to and when pointed out, she told me her way was better. The french manicure is crooked. On almost all fingers. And the white didnt go far back on the nail enough so that now, ONE WEEK LATER, theyve grown out and look stupid. She used shellac when I asked her for something else, and now its YELLOW. She put acrylic under the shellac to harden my nails but didnt dremel it down. So my nails are SUPER THICK and uneven. And she didnt even put the acrylic all the way to the sides so my nails are super rough on the edges and Im constantly filing them. On the underside, where the nails meet the skin, I was used to having that little electric tip thingy to get rid of the stuff attached but they dont do that there. Or at least they havent when Ive gotten my nails done.I went to them because they were closer to my home than my last girl. I will drive to my old place, pay less and give an outrageously good tip, than ever go back here.

Wish there was a negative star - went in for a fill, none are the same round shape, one is very pointed, full nail was not polished and when I ask about it, I was told it was my view they were fine. Then when I went to check out I was told one amount which was higher than other salons, I took out my money and was told an amount $10 more. When I got home I had to reshape, and repaint my nails. So if you want to pay more and have a bad nail job this is the place to go.

I have been going to this nail salon for 2 years! It was great the first year but I don’t know if they have changed management but lately they are abrasive and rude. A friend of mine was going to take her daughter for the first time for a manicure for graduation!!! She walked in and they asked her what nail she wanted to do!!! My friend is not savvy about nails and she was trying to convey to the person that her daughter wanted the nail polish black with a design on it. She walked out because they were rude to her! This a shame since people have a choice to do business but is you are treating people this way... You are not going to be much longer in business! I not doing business anymore! It is sad!!!!!

Favorite place to get nails done, everyone is super friendly and I feel so comfortable. Ive been going there for months and make sure to let anyone who gets pedicures done go to this location, its great. Will continue to give them my business as much as possible!

Absolutely amazing staff and the best nail salon I have found in San Antonio! I get the dipping powder done on my nails and it is amazing, its a little bit more expensive but it is worth every penny! By far this is the best place to get your nails done in SA!

The person who owns this salon is very unprofessional and rude. I was dissatisfied with the way my nails looked, so i asked if they could just be repainted .. he refused and laughed in my face. I payed for shellac and it was covering my skin, you could see through the nail, and they were very clumpy. I paid $71 for a fill and polish change on my toes, when i told him i wouldn’t like to pay for something i didnt like he laughed and said i should look at the prices as if i couldn’t pay for my services .. I NEVER had a problem with the price i had a problem with my service. I will not be returning to this salon due to the high level of disrespect and stereotyping. I would not suggest this salon to anyone.

This was super awesome it was my first time going here and they were super nice it was sanitary and the first time I went that I got $5 off I got a pedi done and it was so relaxing and clean just want to say it was awesome!!!!!!

Showed up at 7:15, they close at 8p, lady that sits in the front doing nails says theyre closed. Will be open at 930a would you like to make an appointment. Very disappointed with that.

EXTREMELY RUDE Front Desk Personnel. I walked in to inquire on the wait time and happened to notice an old nail technician that formerly worked on my nails elsewhere. I turned around and said Hi and the man at the desk extremely and rudely exclaimed you need to talk to me and not her. If this is how to they treat their customers I can go elsewhere.

Sadly New owners are not professional. Blamed me for a broken nail after a powder dip. I no longer use this salon.

Very unorganized. It was my first time there and definitely my last.

I went to them and got a dip manicure. Four days later (even though the dip manicure should last three weeks) the manicure peeled off. I went in to get it fixed and they would not fix it for me. They have very badly documented papers and are disorganized at the front desk.
