Went in as a walk in for a pedi. Was seated and told Eddylnn would be performing my service. She was currently with another client and made sure to communicate that she would be with me soon. Super kind and sweet! My feet have never felt better. Will definitely be coming back

I’ve searched far & wide in San Antonio, looking for the perfect place and I found it in Square Nails! I’ve been coming here for over a year and half & get the same treatment every time! I am never disappointed! You have places where you will only see that one person to do your nails. At Square Nails, you can go to anyone and know that your hands are in the right hands! Judy and her family/staff are family! As soon as you walk in you can feel vibrant and eccentric vibe circling in the atmosphere!! To top it all off, you can have margaritas, wine, and mimosas while getting your nails done! Once you’ve seen them, you’ll never want to go anywhere else! Don’t know what you want? Don’t worry, they have such an amazing imagination, you’ll be happy you let them freehand your hand! Saw a cute design on Pinterest/TikTok, no problem they got you covered there too!! I absolutely love my nails & leave satisfied every time!!

I went to this salon for the first time today. I needed a simple manicure and nail polish change on toes. The lady had me wait, then after a bit soak my nails in VERY hot water. I soaked, and soaked. She ignored me the entire time while working on another client, (communication is KEY) and took two other clients back that arrived after me. I could have gotten my toes done first, but I guess the other clients were more important. I soaked for 47 minutes... I watched my phone. My fingers began to hurt and wrinkle badly from the excessive soaking. Finally, I got up and left. All the other clients that walked in after me were just walk-ins as well. One claimed shed just chipped a nail. I am hugely disappointed at a first time attempt at this salon and wont be going back. Had she explained to me why I had to wait so long, I might have understood. As well, she wanted to charge $40 for the American manicure, while most places charge $25 and up. Too expensive, ignored, poor communication, and forgotten. Guess my money isnt good enough. Wont be going back.

Im a hair stylist so artificial nails never last long on me. However, this nail salons work is super durable. Ive never had issues with my nails coming off prematurely. Ive gone on 3 occasions and had a different nail tech each time. They are all amazing artists and I would be comfortable letting any of them do whatever they wanted to my nails!

Had a great experience with my nails. First of all I appreciated they keep their work spaces and tools clean. Second I was apprehensive about getting dip nails. I went in wanting acrylic because dip nails have always cracked on me. Judy talked to me about their process of dip nail application, and I can honestly say it’s different! Literally fees like acrylic but you get the color of dip. I got something simple this time but feel comfortable going back and getting more extensive nail art here.

Ive looked in San Antonio and couldnt find a good place so I would drive to Corpus Christi until one day a member at my Fitness Club came in and her nails looked so beautiful in what I called art! And thats when she told new where she goes, I called Square Nails & Spa she took me in and Wow! What an amazing job she did that Now I dont have to go to Corpus to get them done I have a place in town and only 7 minutes away from my home little did I know. It was my first time visiting Square Nails and Judy took the time to get to know me and how I liked to get my nails done. She offered a variety of glitters/confetti’s & colors for me to choose from. I definitely recommend Square Nails! My fiance surprised me with a gift certificate so I immediately went over and they were able to get me right in for a manicure (dip powder) and deluxe pedicure. The location is in a nice plaza with lots of space, very clean and well maintained inside. They sat me down and offered a drink (alcoholic and non, I opted for a red wine!)! I felt pampered and well taken care of, they made light conversation which was nice but I was also able to relax and didnt feel pressured to socialize (after work and chasing a toddler, this is a must!). I will definitely be back. I was in an out in an hour! They are great!

Krystal was a total sweetheart and so amazing—asking me every step of the way if everything was to my liking, including: the massage pressure, spa water temperature, hot towel and hot stone temperature, paraffin wax temperature, taste of the wine, and nail color (even asked me if I wanted extra coats with the shellac to make it darker). I have never had someone go so above and beyond to be attentive to my needs and preferences. As long as I live in San Antonio, I will go to Square Nails and ask for Krystal.

I will never go to another salon again. I’ve never been treated better. The atmosphere is friendly and easy going. There’s no competition that you see at other salons. The owner, Judy, loves a good challenge and loves to be creative!! Her work is Amazing!! The nail tech did exactly what I asked for. I have no complaints and can’t wait to go back!

I am pleased with their work. Their application technique is the best Ive had so far in San Antonio. My acrylic nails do not lift, chip, crack, or break. I will be going here to get my nails done for now on. Teo,Judy, and her sister are the best.

I decided to do research and go to a salon with the best ratings I found square nails I only needed a pedicure and some wax work done. My son is turning 6 months Ill be getting our photos taken as part of a celebration. I needed wax on my lips and sideburns. Im highly disappointed she literally ripped my edges off on both sides!! I have photos scheduled for the 15th I dont even know what to do I will not be returning ever and its a pandemic no one has money to waste and this is an important time for me and my son extremely unhappy not satisfied with my services.When asked for my money back after she told me to drive up there so that she can see she legit laughed and was smiling in my face Im upset because my hair isnt going to grow back tomorrow and my overall experience with this wasnt great Im disappointed

Nails came out beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Giving it 3 stars because they charged me for a service without giving me fair warning about it. They used a different paint on my nails without asking me first. They also didn’t tell me it’d cost extra shape my nails into a certain way. I thought that was very sneaky and deceiving. I haven’t gotten my nails done in about five or more years, I mean it. Being a mother of five and just recently graduating school to start a career; getting my nails done we’re just not in my financials in the past. Today my husband decided to spoil me and allow me to go get a manicure. I have a friend who had once referred me to square nails but because like I said it wasn’t in the financials at the time I just went ahead and follow them on Instagram until now. Today was the day to give them a shot so this morning I went on square nails Instagram and looked at all the designs they have done. After seeing an ombre set That I had liked I called and asked about how much the prices would be Judy was the one who answered and explain to me that the ombré started off at $55 and went up with the extras. I said OK the call was done I went ahead on over there. Upon arrival Judy was busy with a client I waited at the front she asked me what I needed I told her I was the one who had called about an ombré set id seen on her page and she then asked me to show her the picture so I went ahead and pulled it up from her Instagram keeping in mind I am keeping my social distance from the other client. She asked me if I had an appointment I told her no it wasn’t mentioned on the phone after an awkward silence she then told me to go ahead and take a seat. I should’ve known from there on this experience was just going to go bad. While waiting I witnessed poor management. This must’ve been a new employee named Crystal because Judy then begin to tell her to go here and go there and do this and that and I quote “don’t wait for me to tell you what to do”. After about an hour waiting for my turn she called me to the table and started to discuss the prices once again she said ombré would be 55 shaping would be five dollars and the rhinestones and rose design would be $17. I said OK and we started off on my nails mind you again like I stated before it’s been a while since I’ve had my nails done so I do not know the process of making ombré nails for this was going to be my first pair. After halfway done she started drawing on the roses and that’s when I realized the blue didn’t seem like it was going to be added to make the ombré effect. I mentioned it to her and she looked at me in confusion and tried telling me that I showed her a picture of all black nails. If that was the case then why would we have discussed ombré in the first place? I told her no and pulled up the picture that I had showed her from the get go Judy still not wanting to own up to her mistake said that no there were multiple pictures of this design of different colors I pulled up her Instagram in front of her and found two pictures of the exact design I wanted that included the blue ombré effect in EACH one. But no she insisted that I was the one that was wrong and I asked her OK then prove that I’m wrong and show me the picture you are saying I showed you After Judy going through her phone unsuccessfully not finding the designwith only black nails she then says she can’t find it right now and pulls up another picture which has no comparison to me because the nails are all white with one finger that’s black with the rose design. At this point you can imagine how livid I am as I begin to shake because of embarrassment of her arguing with me about the situation! I told her I wasn’t going to pay for nails that I am not happy with because this was not the design I asked for, However I did say I would pay if she could fix them or just takeoff these nails but she refused to fix my nails and as well refused to take them off instead she grab the clippers and unevenly cuts the nails in frustration and tells me to leave. After doing that she moved onto the next customer and completely ignored me I waited to see if she would talk to me the right way and fix her mistake but no. I ended up going to sa nail flower for them to take off the nails and do a similar design. It sucks that my first experience here was so disappointing!

First time here waited about 30 min in the chair waiting for someone to do my toes I’m patient but people who worked their kept walking by made eye contact & didn’t say anything to me so I left

Very very friendly and do an awesome job. I went to another nail salon and they couldn’t do the print design I wanted and here they were able to do it. My husband also got a pedicure and his feet came out nice and clean and soft. I definitely recommend this place. Everyone has their own experience but ours was very good.

My nails were done by Judy the nail tech and she did a fantastic job. She listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond. This is my second time coming here and due to the welcoming atmosphere I’ve decided this will be my go-to nail place from now on. Thank you Judy.

The is my first time to Square Nails & Spa and I have been to several around San Antonio. I was Ms. DDs client and I had walked in for a manicure and pedicure. Her work was phenomenal. Her experience shows in her work. She was very professional and very detailed oriented with her work. I was extremely satisfied and will be visiting her again!

Went in to get my nails done. The gentleman who did my nails, did an amazing job!!! Went back the next day for a pedi and eyebrow wax. I did have to wait a bit, because they were busy but I sure am glad I waited. Judy did an awesome job on my poor feet. Also was very gentle on my eyebrows. I usually get super red and stay like that for hours. To my surprise I was not too red when she was done. She really did handle me with care. Not to mention she listens to her customers because I had told her the day prior how red I get when I get my eyebrows waxed.

Talk about great customer service all around. I had a pedicure, a full set and waxing and I loved all of it. Its so refreshing going to get your nails and being greeted and treated with smiles and top notch customer service.Finally a nail place that gets it!

My daughter started going here and she took me today for the first time. I have to say for a Saturday afternoon they took me right in and I was certainly pleased with the service. I got a pedicure and a polish change for my nails. Not once did anyone try to up sale me on another service....which is appreciated. The owners continuously checked to see if I wanted anything to drink and communicated if they needed to step away. Square Nails does great quality work and has excellent customer service! I’ll be pretty sure to share my experience with others and they have a returning customer. This nail salon actually gets it!

DO NOT buy Gift Certificates from them because they do not honor them, they are crooks! Husband bought me one for Christmas (nice thought), he asked all the right questions, was told it would be good for a year and could use in multiple transactions. Long story short due to several life circumstances was not able to make time till recently, I told them I wanted to redeem a gc, was told okay so had services done and than was told no because it was previous owners. Well that is not entirely true because they still have the same merchant account from when the card was purchased which also means same company tax id number. They are CROOKS!!

This salon is great. Judy, the new owner, is amazing! She is very friendly and service oriented. Me and my best friend came in for pedis and had the best service from start to finish. I love this place it’s every different from the previous owners that used to be there. This people actually care about their customers and they deliver whatever you ask of them. I recently moved all the way to Converse, TX and i will gladly do the 40 mins drive for the awesome service they provide.

I first visited Square Nails with my mom last month and we loved it so much we came back with my sister! They were a bit understaffed, but they handled it so well! Instead if have us wait and rush through thier current clients, they scheduled for us to come back in an hour. It worked out perfectly! They were so accommodating to not only us, but everyone who walked through thier doors. They do a wonderful job and have the best customer service! We will defineitly be back on a regular basis!

I stopped in this salon on a fluke and found this to be a 6 star for sure. The Owner, a very pleasnt young women had informed me that she had just took over the salon. It was very clean and pleasing to the eye. They have a Dari machine and offer wine, soda, and water also. Her Husband came in and we started up a conversation. Come to find out he was in the US Military and had been stationed where my husband was at one time. I drive an hour and a half for the services of a mani/pedi and its well worth it. Prices are very reasonable.

Went to have my toe polish redone about 5 times. They are not consistent with their prices. First couple of times it was 10.00, then the following week it was 12.00 and this past week it was 15.00. I have a vision problem and cannot do my own. But they seem to not like the fact that this is the only service I get. On to another place.
