Sensi Ed has been one of the best teacher and has helped a lot on martial arts journey I hope eventually to come back as soon as I can to learn from Sensi Ed class and help add onto the self defense and Japanese Jitsu teaches he taught me he great sensi and will be willing to provide great environment here at Sanchin along with the other Sensi and other fellow students

Our son has been learning Karate for about a month now and has been really enjoying it. He looks forward to the physical activity and learning techniques. He even continues to practice at home with the app on his tablet. The classes are filled with energetic students and engaged instructors that all have fun together, al while focused on discipline and learning. This has certainly been a great investment for my kid on improving not only his physical health but his mental health, and overall discipline and maturity.

Highly recommended. They really are about teaching Karate the right way, and emphasizing respect and self confidence, while making it fun as well. So glad we found Sanchin.

I came in to one of Master Eduardos classes for a trial, and let me tell you, this was an AMAZING experience. Having only a limited amount of experience with martial arts, I was nervous at first, but Master Eduardo was very reassuring and led the class step by step through everything that we needed to know. There was never a moment that I felt overwhelmed, condescended towards, or even felt bad for being so new. By the end of the class we were open grappling and trying to throw each other; I even successfully used the technique wed broken down.If I had more thumbs to put up or more stars to give, I would!Master Eduardo is knowledgeable in a way that only someone who lives martial arts can be, and I hope he never has to use his skills for anything other than being the amazing teacher that he is! (Unless he becomes the Batman like I recommended to him)

If you seek true Karate, of proper Japanese origin, look no further. Sanchin karate is the golden nugget of San Antonios many Karate dojo. I recommend coming by and talking to Sensei Weaver who is more than happy to answer any questions you have. The Sensei here love Karate and the students here are welcoming and friendly. Sensei Weaver was kind enough to offer me 2 free lessons and when I move back to San Antonio next month I plan to make Sanchin my second home.

Excellent for children. After a good workout with instructors who maintain discipline they get a lesson on what it is to be a good person.

They offer a free class, that is AMAZING! Learned a lot in a short amount of time. Great teachers and culture you want to be apart of.

Great martial arts school and A Great OWNER

Been coming here for self defense classes for 4 years now. The sensei are really nice and have been since I first came here. One thing I find amazing is how they have classes for every age group! Last year they started having womens self defense classes as well

One of the most prestigious martial arts masters I’ve ever known works here; I’ve personally known Sensei Eduardo for over 10 years. He’s obtained mastery-level skill in FAR more than Karate. You will gain more of an education and skill in martial arts than you bargained for, with experience ranging from traditional Japanese juijitsu to Wing Chun in his cadre, Eduardo’s entire life has been nothing but martial arts, (18+ years).

My kiddos love this place. The instructors are patient and kind. They really care about their students

Great group of people, its comforting to know your children and being taught by instructors who have multiple degrees in education and extensive experience in martial arts. My 8 y/o daughter loves the classes and the people.
