Sissy is amazing! She hemmed and bustled my lace wedding dress, and she did such a professional job for a great price. She handstitched the lace, and its impossible to even tell that it was cut shorter. And the bustle looks wonderful! At the store I bought my dress from or elsewhere, I would likely have paid a few hundred dollars more for the job she did. She also worked around my schedule to get everything done - I was only in San Antonio for a few months before moving back out-of-state, and I work full-time. And since I came in by myself on the way home from work, she posed me and took some cute pictures to send to my mom and sister 🥲. Shes so kind and sweet and genuinely cares about her customers! She reminds me of my own family. My pot belly showed through the dress, so she made a smooth transition in the stomach area by lifting my petticoat above the belly line and I immediately saw the difference! After I bought my wedding dress, I researched several places throughout SA and found Sissy. And let me tell you... Sissy is AMAZING!!! During the first visit, she made excellent recommendations on what needed to be done. Prices are very reasonable and all alterations were done pretty fast in comparison to other places. Sissy is very flexible with scheduling appointments which was great since my work schedule is far from consistent. She is also very knowledgeable and explains everything which definitely shows you her the amount of experience on her belt. I ordered some jeans for vacation and they were way too long so I called Excellent Alterations and even though they are closed on Mondays Sissy was so sweet and told me to bring them to her. I originally decided to check out Excellent Alterations by sissy because I was in the area and I wanted to see if she was able to alter my OCP tops. Im particular when it comes to my uniform but I wanted to support a local business rather than the BX on base. I dropped off my items late afternoon on a Sunday and received them the following Thursday. Im so happy with the finished product! I wore my uniform to church while on leave and I received so many compliments. I had my badges and name tapes sewn on at the BX. I wish wouldve had them done at Sissys instead because she wouldve taken her time unlike the ladies at the BX who dont!!!Main Takeaway:- GREAT customer service!- Quality work in a short amount of time- I highly recommend military members take their uniform here.

Sissy did an amazing job on my dream dress. I brought in my lace cold shoulder wedding dress to get the sleeves lifted up to cover my arms more. She was very sweet and suggested a hidden elastic on my sleeves especially if I was dancing and moving my arms around I thought that’s an absolute great idea! Picked up dress today early and tried on and ABSOLUTELY loved how my dress turned out! Sissy did an amazing job! The sleeves are off the shoulder lace and do not move when I move my arms around. And lay on my arms perfectly. Also if I wanted to I could adjust the sleeves however I like. She is my go to alterations place from now on! Thank you❤️

So my sister had mentioned to me to try an alteration shop before I went and bought a new bag/purse. (I didnt have it long,I think I overstuffed a few times) I called around and one place said they dont fix bags, another had an attitude, some didnt answer.
