Been getting my haircut with Nate for some time now & has been great every time. He has been able to provide a consistent cut, even considering that I might go 2 or 3 months between cuts. Aside from great service, his suite is clean & provides a pleasant experience.

Do your head a favor and schedule a haircut at Tophatters! Like finding a good mechanic, finding a good barber is incredibly hard to do. For most of my life I could not find one that I would visit more than a handful of times due to inconsistent haircuts. That all changed when I met Nate almost two years ago. Nate actually started cutting my hair at his previous barbershop before going out on his own. I know for a fact that I am just one of many people that followed him after he left to start his own shop at Tophatters. Hes that good. And not only is Nate an EXCELLENT barber, but hes also a great person that genuinely cares about his clients As long as I am in San Antonio I will ONLY get my hair cut at Tophatters. You should too!

I went to another barbershop in San Antonio, I was very displeased with my cut and the barber literally rushed my cut because a friend of his walked in and took priority apparently. My cut was rough and honestly I didnt think it could be fixed.I have been to Tophatters before but it is a little further of a drive from my office than the other. I told Nate my story and hoped he could fix this awful head of hair the previous barber left me with.Nate is the proper barber you have been searching for. This gentleman did not only give me a cut that made me look tv ready he offered me a nice shot of whiskey that took the edge off from that crazy week. We chatted and laughed about my horrifying experience and before I knew it, I looked like someone that was ready for a movie. I could not believe the difference a real barber can make. WOW!!!! How can this man transform a poor haircut into perfection? Nate from Tophatters Barbershop did it with ease. I will no longer search for a barber and I will travel the extra 5 minutes to see Nate. Nate is excellent. I’ve been seeing him for over five years and what I appreciate the most is consistency. At this point I show up and he just knows. During COVID he’s taken all the precautions and I actually prefer the smaller controlled environment as opposed to the bigger shops. Excellent value compared to what I hear other places charging. Give him a try and take a long term approach. It pays off!

Nathan is an excellent barber. My little one and my husband have been his clients for about 5 yrs now. Nathan is not only professional, he is hospitable. A few months ago my husband was not able to schedule an appointment with Nathan (no spots available) and went to Clipperholics. Needless to say they did a horrible job, they messed up big time, missed so many spots with the clippers, it looked horrible. I immediately called Nathan that Friday evening and told him what happened. It was already late in the day, and he said yes he could go and hed fix it. Ill forever be grateful with Nathan. Schedule an appointment with him, you wont regret it.
