I have been there twice. Both times they messed up a fade. The line is clearly showing as you can see in the photos. I went with different people each time. I had to point out a clear line on the side on my second visit but when I got home I found the back was still bad. If you need a fade, I recommend going somewhere else. And yes the Rash was from the second visit.

I have been coming here for almost a year now but my last visit was truly exceptional! Its always difficult to find a barber who can match what you try and communicate to them as far as the cut you are looking for. I had recently been butchered by a friend who had been launching this service from home for cuts and such I was a mess I stopped by the shop on a Friday evening without much hope that they could do much to salvage the damage to my hair. I was lucky to get placed with Janessa and I gotta tell you guys she was phenomenal at her emergency treatment and was able to get my hair back up to par and was able to get my edge up and bear perfectly blended the way I wanted. she was very attentive and asked leading questions that let me know she and I were on the same page as far as what I was looking for in terms of results. going forward I plan to only let her cut my hair and beard I have found my new exclusive artisan. so please if you are on the fence about where to get your next cut check out The Good Barber and make sure to ask for Janessa she was fantastic.

Used to be a great place to get a haircut but I just got the worst cut of my life. Everything was uneven and rushed. I now have to go to a different place to fix my hair and had to shave my beard. Not worth 50$!!! Stay away!

I went in to purchase some beard product and all the barbers are very knowledgeable on beard maintenance.

Awful experience. Booked a haircut and color the day before with Yvette. I left my office early to make the five o’clock appointment and waited 30mins sitting in the chair only to hear her and another stylist loudly complain about having to do my cut/color. Everyone in the place could hear this. I was appalled and offended, so I left. I’d never go back to that place. So unprofessional, and sadly it was convenient bc I live very close to there.

This place shouldn’t be getting any stars! When i first started going there i will admit it the first few cuts looked good. Not amazing or great but good, because somewhere on your hair it would look jacked up. Oh and also they don’t even listen to you when they say what would you like. It will be completely different from what you asked. wouldn’t recommended this place.

I wanted to wait until I had been to this barber shop multiple times before I submitted a review. First of all, let me say that I have had a very good all-around experience at this shop. You get a great haircut for a reasonable price. Reliability & repeat-ability. And you cant beat the hot lather neck-shaves. Excellent value.A social butterfly Im not, yet the shop atmosphere always seems inviting and the stylists are top notch -- which is why Im a loyal customer. Enter the shops newest addition: John. Right out the box, John proactively made suggestions on the appropriate look given my hair type and length. By bringing John on board, the shop just raised both its skill level and credibility to new heights. I left the shop today very happy w/ Johns handiwork.

Went in for a drop fade and came out with a hack job, If you’re looking for a clean fade or a nice haircut avoid at all cost when I called to complain I just got Condescending apologies, this Barbershop is for children too young to notice a bad haircut when they see one an older gentleman who go in for touchups and to get squared off in the back

Great place to get your haircut as its feel like a real barber shop rather than like a Great Clips setting. Gina is an awesome stylist as she cares about meeting your hair needs rather than being in a hurry to get other customers service. They will provide you a beer when entered while waiting. They also do a straight razor to clean shave your neck, which is very nice! I understand there are other quality barbers shops around the area, but price wise and location cant be ignored. Give the place a try and you wont be disappointed! 😆

I went there last week to get a haircut as i was going on a beach trip with my friends and wanted to look fresh. This place is hands down one of the best places I ever gone to if not the best place. Great place for a beard trim. This is a rare place where they actually lean you back properly with a neck rest fully reclined for the beard work. They also offer you a water or soda or beer (only when they not too busy to remember, so be sure to ask for one) Will go back for sure. Great atmosphere, and mostly good haircuts, just be specific with what you want.

Hack job

I have been getting my hair cut here for almost a year now and I love this place! The staff are very friendly and I have never gotten a bad hair cut. I have used a few different barbers, but my go to barber is Gina. She does an amazing job and definitely knows what she is doing. Plus she is very friendly and makes me feel comfortable when Im in the chair. Definitely recommend this place!

Never had a bad haircut here in the many years I’ve been coming. Wait is usually minimal. If you’re on a budget, just get the basic “in a hurry” and it’s not too badly priced. Plus they have a rewards system that helps if you’re a repeat customer. Ashley or Anna are both great, but I’m sure others are good too.

Nice.place and good barbers but I must say that there is a bit of difference in the welcome you get depending on how you look or where you are from.. I was a regular customer for a long time but was never offered water or beer. People who look different than me were always offered. I dont look shabby and.wear nice clothes so you understand the difference

Wow the absolute worst barber I have ever been to. Not a single person in there knows how to give fades, edge ups, or even cut hair in general. Great clips can probably do a better job. The person who cut my hair was absolutely lost and had no idea how to cut hair. Terrible place to get a haircut

Prices are reasonable. However, they have a lot of rotation with the barber and today I got a guy who did not care about instructions. His interest was in getting the next guy in the chair. If you go there make sure you get someone that is willing to a good job. I am not going to mention his name here in consideration for the establishment.

If you are looking for a modern haircut or classic The Barbers here can get you any haircut you want. But I do recommend going early whichever day you go on as they have no appointment, but only by first come first serve basis.

Older Mexican lady working there should be at one of the mom and pop shops near one of our military bases. Dont try to be a trendy barber shop when you are hiring hairstylist who never graduated Rios Lackland AFB. Ive spent $20+ one too many times and left unsatisfied on more than one occasion. The convenience of this place no longer matters. Ill goto diesel and spend $5 extra bucks for someone who doesnt think a low fade and keep the length up top means high and tight. Been fun.

Caveat, my experience was about 7 months ago.Cut wasnt terrible. Got a few nicks on the neck shave though. Had to stop it. Prices were comparable. I didnt like there was no check in at the time. Just a few of us sitting there being asked who was next.

Its hard finding a new barber. You read the reviews and regardless of the location, there are always some good and bad write-ups. My experience was perfect. Anna offered me a beer or water and cut my hair. Paid attention to instruction and details. I will be coming back here again.

Came in as a walk in, showed a picture of exactly what I wanted, described with words exactly what I wanted, and the woman literally just decided to use the clippers to buzz all my hair into what she called a “Pompodour”, which is in style according to her. I didn’t realize, and no one told me, that I had to specifically ask her to cut my hair with scissors. If I wanted a barber that didn’t use scissors, I would have a monkey take a buzzer to my hair.

Disgusting barber at this shop talks openly about kinky sex and politics. Totally unprofessional.

Best hair cut I got since a long time!

Last time going here. Dont even try to tell thise ladies what kind of hair cut you want. You wont get that, only what they think they can do. Ive had to go home and fix what they jacked up almost everytime even after showing a picture of the hair cut I would like. Its a simple medium fade and they can do that.Go down the stree and get at least a half decent hair cut.

The only things I would complain about is the very long wait and the grumpy and quiet barber that my brother got.

The worst haircut, first time in my life I had to visit another hairdresser to correct the cut. Never again.

Nice place with good service

I dont know if its just me, but I did not get what I asked for at all. Asked for a low taper and I got a high fade. Seems only one barber here knows how I like it. So frustrating because I walk in the door and my normal barber isnt there so I have to go with someone else. She may not know exactly how I like it, but shouldnt she at least know the difference between high and low? Not happy at all with todays visit.
