Went over to the shop since it was their open hours. There was a piece of paper on the door that said closed today. I wouldn’t be too upset about it, other than the fact that I could see someone actively getting their haircut in the window beside the door. If you are still gonna give hair cuts to someone but leave the open sign off and post that you are closed, have the decency to do it out of sight.Two stars cause I’m sure they are capable barbers, I just never got the opportunity to experience it.

I have been coming here for years now. Every time I come I request for Nicolle specifically. She always takes amazing care of me from the haircut to providing refreshments. She provides the best haircut every time and has never messed up even the slightest. Her level of detail is amazing. The shop is very clean and everyone in here is very polite and accommodating to the fullest extent. I recommend this barbershop to anyone and everyone that is looking for the best of the best when it comes to getting a hair cut or with just being treated as a family. They will make you feel better and look the best for any occasion you may have. Also if I could I would give them as many stars as possible!

If youre in SA, this is the best place to go. I personally go to Nicolle but Maria as well as everyone else are amazing too. Absolutely the most genuine and welcoming people Ive ever met. Never been to a barbershop that did hot towels and offer free drinks every time you walk in. Nicolle damn near works everyday and is such a hard worker. The cuts are worth 40-50 dollars!! Leaving SA and the one thing I will miss the most during the 14 months Ive been here has to be the haircuts. I get a haircut nearly every single week and every cut was worth every penny I paid and more! By far, MJ is the best barber shop Ive been to in my lifetime. I know for sure I wont be able to find another outstanding and consistent barber like Nicolle. Definitely a must visit.

My experience was without doubt excellent! Ms. Maria took great care of me during a busy Saturday. She has an outstanding sense of humor which makes the experience more enjoyable than usual.I never felt rushed, she used hot towels and executed a haircut with honors. This was what I observed on my first visit.They always take their time and do an amazing job. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone. In San Antonio for military training and needed a haircut. Barbers usually butcher my head and give terrible fades, but not here. Asked for a mid-fade and MJ took her time to give me exactly that. The atmosphere and vibe is very welcoming and relaxing. MJ took the barber cape off and I thought it was my time to get up, but instead I received a shoulder and back massage with a hot towel on my head (FELT GREAT). MJ even asked if I needed water or anything during the haircut which is pretty uncommon elsewhere. Give this place a chance... you wont regret it!

One of the best haircut experiences I have ever had. Thats right experience. Both ladies were kind, and professional. They took their time and I could tell they care about their craft. MJ blade is a beast with the straight razor and my fade was fresh. This aint one of the military cut places though they take care of military. Definitely give them a shot you wont be disappointed

Maria was very professional and very passionate to what she does. She will take her time to make sure that you have the best service you deserve. Very reasonable price and very military-friendly barbershop. The shop also has great vibes to it. I have been in San Antonio for about 3 months and this will be my forever barbershop until the Army tells me I gotta go. Will recommend the shop to anyone.

I got tired of getting messed up by a certain big chain hair cutting place. I get my hair cut atleast twice a month and I need a consistently good shop, so I started trying out alot of places. MJ Blade was the best shop I came across. My cut was super clean and the staff is really nice. Clean shop and plays some good music. Found my new regular spot and wont be going anywhere else now. Definitely check this place if you are looking for a good barber.

Made an appointment. Went to the store to find doors locked even though I called and they answered saying they were open. I arrived to find the doors locked and someone inside. This barbershop was great to me. I came from California and was looking for a good barbershop. I went to one shop and they messed up my haircut. I then went to this shop right after hoping they can fix my cut.I found a young man named Pablo here at MJ Blade that did just that. He fixed my hair and cleaned me up. He did a great job, I recommend this shop if you need a quality haircut.

Sent my husband and sons to this barber based on all the high reviews- not sure if the barber shops here are different than Florida- but they had to go somewhere else immediately after to have them fix the awful haircut they received!Half of the staff spoke English and it was very hard to communicate what was needed.Don’t waste your money here- go somewhere else!!!
