Rosario was my stylist and when I say she understood the assignment I mean she understood!! I went in to the barber shop asking to feel beautiful again and she definitely did it!! The wash was amazing and relaxing and then the blow out was out of this world she curled my who head with a blow dryer and a brush. She also took my pandemic eyebrow where were a mess and made them look so gorgeous! I will definitely be back next week for a style for my baby shower photo shoot along with the following week for another style for my actual baby shower!!! Not to mention the referral she’ll get from me! She will always be my stylist even if it at a men’s barber shop

I’ve been going there for over year, before I loved it until yesterday. The lady was rude and my son cut looks awful. The number was not the lady fault because she did told me that she wasn’t comfortable doing numbers but the cut itself was not good at all. The number could have been in the middle of his head. After all I was charge 51 dollars for this hair cut.After I sent an email I was answered that I was quoted $1 per min which was not true. By the way I have been there before and done the same hair cut and it didn’t cost me 51 dollars.The lady was super rude. I don’t know what happened because before it was my favorite place. Not anymore.

Went in for a haircut and it did not take long for me to realize the person cutting my hair had no idea what they were doing. This was my 2nd time here but notice it was a very different look than my first visit but I figured it was worth a shot. I was disappointed in how my hair came out with a name like Service Cuts and all the military decor on the wall one would think a flat top would be on point. Well no it was not, not even a flat top more of a poor fade which I decided to settle for since it was a lost cause on my requested flat top. Bottom line this place is over priced and should have lowered that $45 knowing they did not give me the requested haircut, I will not be retuning to this establishment. $45 dollars….hahahaha and I still left a tip because I felt bad for the person cutting my hair. Keep practicing them haircuts or get a master barber to over see the work staff is doing.I was contacted by another person for this establishment about getting things made right. Ive been trying different barbers on the NW side of SA for a little over a decade. Some have been good and declined, some closed down, some have always had problems. Service Cuts has been the one place that has been consistently good the whole time Ive used them, even during the pandemic.When you visit, you get a clean and friendly atmosphere, prompt attention, friendly staff, and great service.While every stylist Ive seen at Service Cuts has been great, if you see that Autumn has availability I highly recommend her.

I set up an appointment with this place. I was running 5 minutes late because of traffic. I called and told them if it was okay, lady said they run a “tight schedule” HA and made me reschedule which i did cause i already drove 25 minutes there, then i come to the place at my newly schedule time, and the place is empty except for one person. The same lady is there and she already has an attitude then tells me she cant do a bald fade for both my brother and me? When i schedule for both of us to get it! Terrible employee! Terrible business! No respect for this place at all. If i could give it 0 stars i would! DO NOT COME HERE.

Not a regular haircut place, went in because it was close to my house, and left with the most expensive haircut of my life. No wash, no fancy edging, just cut my hair, $40, and they asked for a tip. Lesson learned is I have to look up prices before sitting down in a barber chair from now on.

I love this place. Very clean and professional. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I have never been disappointed in any of the services I have received. Autumn does a great job on my hair and Nell does wonders with keeping my beard well groomed. Cannot recommend this shop enough.

My wife, her sister, and I were in the area, and I saw the sign, which led me to want to get a hair cut. I looked up the reviews, and trust me when I say the reviews that say that they don’t know how to fade is 100% accurate. I decided to take a chance. Maybe I was unlucky and got the barber that doesn’t know how to fade. I asked for a razor fade, and when he gave me the mirror to look at it - I immediately asked “what’s this line?” He used the excuse “oh. It probably was the lighting.” He tried to fade again and gave me the mirror, and the fade was still horrible. I said, “it was fine.” I ended paying the $39 and gave a $10 tip, because I know the global pandemic is tough and people still need to make a living. When I stress out, I lose patches of hair, so I learned how to cut my own hair. I went home and fixed the fade. I decided to use a barber, because it takes too much time to cut my own hair, using my phone as a mirror is tough, and cleaning up after the haircut is just too time consuming. I will tell you, watch YouTube, and you can do a skin tight fade better than what the barber that cut my hair can do. Ultimately, trust the bad reviews and don’t go to Service Cuts. Go somewhere else. You might luck out and get someone good at Service Cuts, but if you don’t, you’ll be just as upset as I am with my haircut that you’ll need to fix on your own or pay additional money to get it fixed.—— Update ——If you want to contact me, my contact information is in your system under Brian not Brain. I had made an appointment a day ahead with a girl named gaby she had a client when i got there (my appointment was at 7:30 and i got there at 7:27) she finished her client and had another person go first before me. Whats the point of making an appointment a day ahead? Worst experience i have ever had. I do not reccommened this place.

I took my son Liam to get a haircut here today from autumn and she went above and beyond did an amazing job she communicated well with him during the hair cut which I loved because it helps him stay more patient during his haircut she is the only person I will take my son to now, thanks autumn!

Went there as a walk in. Told them I was a 5-7 minute clipper cut. Waited for 26 minutes. During that time, one of the stylists played on her phone for 10 minutes just sitting there. Too bad, I’d probably have tipped her $10 just for working me in. Don’t go here without an appointment. The guy at the front was all too happy to sit and look at the computer the whole tine as well. Guy faded the right side of my head over the part and into the top of my head. I look like Ive got an egghead now. Youd think for a place charging twice what a great clips/sports clips costs, theyd do twice as good yet the result is almost worse.Aside from friendly service, this shop doesnt produce good quality. Would not recommend.

I’ve been going to Autumn for years, and followed her to Service Cuts. Always personable, always happy to see me, she does an awesome job with keep my hair looking good. When she’s book, and I’m in a pinch for a haircut, Shawn also does a great job of helping me out. 10/10

After moving to San Antonio from out of state, I was pretty nervous to try a new place. I brought my daughter to Autumn who provided a BEAUTIFUL style with AMAZING customer service. I then brought my son in who received one of the best cuts he’s ever received. The atmosphere was inviting & clean. I’m happy to say it only took one shot to become a loyal customer to Service Cuts. So I walked in today to inquire about a hair cut at 9:30am . I was greeted by Hispanic gentleman and advised that appointments were required very combative . He stated that he could set me up with one, so I apologized to them and he proceeded to stat very rudely Yah its the front door. Mind you that there no one else in the shop for a hair cut. I dont know if this corporately owned but I would guess to wounder how they are pushing customer away. Very clean and nice shop, would have liked to make it my family and friends place toget our hair cuts.

Had my first haircut here this weekend. I made an online appointment the day before, which I highly recommend. I got a great cut from the man at the front, I believe his name is Sean. The staff are all very friendly and professional. The price was comparable to the places I was going, but the haircut was better, the facility was much cleaner, and they also do a Veterans discount. Service Cuts Barbershop, you have yourself a new regular.

This guy cut my hair with a razor, looks ok at first, hair didn’t turn out what I showed him on my phone, It’s really bad after I went home and took a shower, then realized there’s uneven cuts and hair sticking out everywhere.$15 haircut at Great clip is much better.

The lady didn’t even use the razor blade as she was suppose like any other barbershop. She gave some weird explanation about it so I left it alone. All I got was a taper fade without cutting any from the top or touch my beard. When I got to the register she charged me 35$.... if your barbershop is going to charge 35$ for a simple taper fade ... at least do the hot towel and the razor blade... that’s robbery and she still asked for a tip.P.s Too pricey and there is no board with any prices at all.

Got a haircut from Javier who was very attentive and kind throughout the experience. The cut was quick, the conversation was interesting, and overall the atmosphere felt very inviting. Would recommend to others.

So I came here on the recommendation of a friend. Im a 17 year veteran with the military and Im used to the walk in, zip zap done your ears are lowered another week, pay the tab and move on. On Saturday, I came in and thought I had slept through my own inauguration as President of the United States. Cynthia here put in a good hour and a half and she etched and stenciled and trimmed my hair and beard to perfection. I felt like I shouldve been on national television after level of care she put in. If youre looking for something to really make you stand out, this is the place. Im still beside myself with the quality I got here. Absolutely unexpected and down right brilliant. After arriving at this location I was not greeted or even recognized as a customer. Im not sure if it because of my appearance or my race. But as the next gentlemen walked in he was clearly greeted and acknowledged ( he was white I myself am hispanic.) He was even offered a water. Being a medically discharged U.S. Marine I thought a place called Service Cuts would be a respectable business to support I was mistaken.

Real good guys here awesome service and my hair cut was on point. The Manager Drew even came out of his way to come back to the shop when he was already home to help out with cuts so his barber wouldn’t be getting out late. Really appreciate that and thanks Drew for the fresh cut.

Second time going in, tried to give him a second chance. I got the opposite of what I asked for. The worst part is that I have to cut it all off and start over growing my hair out. My cut was an uneven, jagged fade, with a pushed back hairline.Took over an hour cutting my hair (5:10pm-6:29pm) and made excuses the whole time about the way my hair grows and blamed me for taking back my hairline. Nice guy, but I have to find another shop.Tips for barbers:1. Always start every fade or taper low and ask your clients if they want to go higher! Better safe than sorry!2. If you’re unsure check in with the client!3. Lastly, NO MATTER WHAT, NEVER blame anything on the client or their hair and make excuses. Shows a lack of skill and your client will lose confidence in your ability.It should go without saying that each side should look identical.

My son and I have been searching for the past year to find a quality barbershop. That search has finally ended with Service Cuts! The staff was friendly and professional. The environment looked like an actual barbershop and not a beauty salon. The price was a little more than I usually pay, but after my cut I knew it was worth every cent. Thank you to Drew (he cut my hair) and Rachel (she cut my sons hair) for an outstanding haircut. Rachel took the time to listen to my sons concerns with his hair and she even offered her professional opinion to make sure it was done correctly. Drew took his time to make sure I got the haircut that I wanted. We have finally found a barbershop worth going to.

Been here twice, first time guy did a great job but my second visit was outstanding. Drew cut my hair the second time and recognized me from the first visit and asked if I brought my card to get stamped for a free haircut but I told him I didn’t get one that time, he hooked it up and stamped my card twice! Great haircut and definitely talented people working there but I was told cash only after i got my cut, so i was forced to drive to wells fargo 2 mile to get cash and then return which was not cool. I know there is an ATM across of the store, but i still shouldnt be forced to pay a fee to pull cash to pay you. Please post a sign or start using your system to charge credit cards.

Drew is an amazing barber and person. I never get a haircut anywhere else. Every time I walk out of the shop I feel and look clean. 5 star shop and barbers without a doubt.

This place has horrible customer service! We walked in and before we even got to the counter an employee asked if we were a walk in to which we replied yes. She then told us abruptly and rudely we are not taking any more walk ins! And that was it. No hello or welcome. Definitely not a good way to start your business. They just lost potential customers a group size of 6!

Additional info: came back for 2nd haircut to see if this place is still legit or just first date great. This time I had Autumn take care of me. Online booking very flexible and easy to use and even change last minute. Autumn did a fantastic job and even faster than Sean. Her fingers when they massage your scalp during the shampoo are magical. Seriously, that alone is worth showing up for. Expected a drop of inservice, surprisingly became MORE IMPRESSED. I love feeling pampered and this is what they provide you. I for the first time am looking forward to my hair growing so I can have an excuse to come back. If there was more than 5 stars, Id add it. Only knock is sometimes parking can be hard it you hit this strip mall during lunch hours.Tried this place out, since tired of using mutli-service hair shops that service more women than men. Didnt realize this place was tailored to military, both active, retired and dependents. Sean the owner attended me. Great clean place, able to be seen quickly as walk-in despite being busy. He gave me a terrific cut and service. His attention to detail is synonymous with a military oriented business. They even given discounts for those who have served. The atmosphere and shop talk being military oriented helped me to have good time and not just trudge through a haircut. He did so much I was worried about how much it would cost only to be on par with my previous stylists, just a few bucks more. They even have a mission to provide care packages to those on duty overseas. I have finally found my barbershop in every sense including an awesome cut. Cant wait to grow my hair to return but have already starting shouting out this place to all my shipmates. Will be back.

I went yesterday Thursday July 25 and I Was not satisfied with my sons hair cut, the girl we normally go with was not there so we went with a guy that was sitting in the front didn’t get his name, from the start we felt as if he didn’t want to cut my sons hair he also asked another girl that was there if she wanted to take us and she said no. so I told him what I wanted and i didn’t like the way it came out I asked him if he could blend it a little more and his response was“I did what you asked me to do” a normal response to me would be “yes ma’am “ being that I am paying 25 dollars for my son who is only 4 years old, and then he removed all my sons sideburns and they aren’t even, one is higher than the other so if he said he was doing what I asked him to do I did NOT ask for all of my sons sideburns to be removed. So I was not satisfied with the hair cut or the service we received!!

I was able to find my regular barber again after hunting through instagram. had a bad experience at another place and im so happy to have found her again. my hair is looking great again thanks to autumn!!!

Worst haircut I’ve ever had. She messed up on the back and ended up shaving the back of my head above my ears. Looks terrible with a 1/2” wide hard part and awful shaven head in the back. Also they charge $3 extra for using a credit card. (I know, bad business practice)So I paid $28.00 for the worst haircut I’ve ever had.
