My daughters Sweet Sixteen was held at the Marquis ballroom and from the beginning our experience went very smooth. The Reservations staff was super helpful and thoroughly explained my options and answered all my questions along the way. Melanie was super sweet! On the day of the event, we were greeted in the morning to ensure we had everything we needed. Security touched base with us as well. The bartending staff was very helpful. My guests gave many compliments to the venue and said it was a beautiful place. Lastly, a shout out to Chef Rudy to for the delicious late night treats. The guests absolutely loved them! If youre looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend Garcia Properties!

Their service was amazing 🤩, they went out of there way to make my daughters fiesta quince a night to remember 🥰 our guests loved the decor and the staff and clean up crew was awesome 👏 my mother in law left her iPhone at the hall and the clean up crew turned it in, so we could pick up the following day 🤩 if that’s not great service, I don’t know what is . Thanks again Garcia Properties, our experience at Plaza Del Rey, was something we will never forget 😊

Called Garcia property to postpone a birthday celebration that was suppose to take place on March 28th 2020 could not have at that time have it because of the Covid Pandemic city of San Antonio had announced not to have no gatherings at the time. So I called them they didnt call me at the time to let me know we couldnt have no gatherings. At first they told me i couldnt postpone i kept telling them it was not right and not our fault because of the pandemic. So they went ahead and postpone for a July 4th 2020 city of San Antonio announced again no gatherings,because covid had gotten worse after memorial day. So I called and told them I couldnt have it and wanted at least half of my money back. I understand they have expenses to so i wasnt asking for all my money back. So they told i can postpone again or no money back. So I did September 26, 2020 now I want to postponed for next year,due to i have some family members that are sick with covid. I cant postpone for next year and cant have no money back at least half what I have paid. I care for the safety of my family and friends. And Garcia property dont care about that. I feel Garcia property should really understand whats going on. From what I see on these reviews they dont care. City of San Antonio mayor does..Not these people!!! I had photo booth. Dj and catering letting me know that they couldnt go with their services i hired them. Which I really appreciated them for doing. But these people no. They will not work with you. Photo booth gave me my money back without even me asking. I will be taking this to a legal matter because my dates all fell under City of San Antonio mandatory to not have any gatherings for March and July. I should have at least gotten my money back at least half back but kept telling me to postpone or no money back.

If i could put ZERO stars I would. Do not give these people your money, they refuse to give your deposits back due to the pandemic. So now not only could my daughter not have a sweet sixteen but her Money for a car has been taken by these people!!! I will be seeking legal help because the contract says they refund with a cancellation fee!!!!

Called them to discuss potentially canceling or moving my daughters quinceanera to next year due to COVID restrictions. They had 1 available date for the same time next year. I emailed them the information and request like they asked and the lady stated she would verify over the phone if I could move for sure. This conversation happened first thing this morning. I called end of day today since they never got back with me and found out they booked the event for someone else. Then they tell me that they don’t postpone until 60 days out from your event! How does that make sense when dates are getting booked for end of next year now!? If I was told that the first time this morning I would have put a deposit down immediately on that date but since they said they would get a word to me, I waited and expected a response like a normal human. My daughter lost out of the one venue she fell in love with and it’s because Garcia Properties couldn’t get me an answer like they said they would.

Thank you Garcia Properties. I’m so happy you guys were able to accommodate my reservation when so many other Vendors are not even answering my calls.

Do not give these people any more money for a Ballroom rental during the pandemic. They will not give you anything back if event is cancelled. If anything changes I will update.

The cash Bar lady at lucky ballroom is the worst! Made my wedding a horrible day since morning horrible service she wont let decorate as told by managers, even told us to lower the DJ n keeps main doors locked! All night! All I paid for decorations to be the best wedding n she kept on making it a nightmare

Have and my wedding and my Daughters quince at two different locations with Garcia properties. They are always so nice and very helpful.
