Very honest up front about the issue we had. Because of their recommendation we had to use authorized repair company to honor warranty.
Jim has some bad road rage. He tried to run me off road. Wonder how he will treat your property.

Absolutely fantastic company!! Jim knows everything about every Appliance in the world. He can fix anything and his prices are very reasonable. But I will say if youre havent had any appliance repair in a long time be prepared to find its more than you thought. but Ive had much more expensive invoices from other people in the past. I would not use anybody but him.
I have used Jims After Hours repair service multiple times on different appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher) and each time they have done a fantastic job. Always a prompt response to evaluate and fix if they can, or if a second visit was required because specific parts were needed, they kept me informed and shown up when expected. We have used Jim for many years now. He has always been punctual, honest, and fair. Jim will give you the truth regarding whether it is worth trying to repair an old appliance or whether you should save yourself the trouble and just go purchase something from a retail store. I called this company to repair my wash machine. When the technician arrived, he reported he ordered the part needed and would be back in a few days. Four weeks later, since I never heard from them, I called and they stated You were on our list today. The part is no longer available but we need to collect for our visit. Sounds like a scam!!! I would NOT recommend!
I called, explained the problem with the dishwasher. Was told probably heating element. Gave total cost if that was the case. Would not be charged if it wasnt. David was the technician was excellent and efficient. Years of experience. Very impressed. Definitely would recommend.

Herman the technician with Jim’s After Hours Appliance Repair that came today, went above and beyond to make sure I had a working refrigerator when he left. This company( Jim’s after hours) took a good look at all my fridge, replaced a part and even used special equipment to defrost my fridge so that I did not have to go through 24 hrs of inconvenience of unplugging my appliance. Saved me hundreds in groceries. So much better than the previous company I had called.The first company I had called (All Appliance Parts), came out and reached behind the fridge and pulled out a plastic plug and told me to unplug my fringe for 24 hrs. They spend less than 5 min charged me and left then refused to come out again when that didn’t fix the problem.
I just had a compressor replaced in my refrigerator and was very pleased with Jim/Jims Applicance Repair. If anyone is looking for an appliance repair, I would recommend contacting them. He was honest, on time, saved me some money by not replacing unnecessary parts that were recommended by another company and, I thought, charged a fair price for parts and labor.
Sadly I have not had a good experience. Herman my technician came to the house to fix my ice machine in the refrigerator. Upon arrival he took about 30 seconds to determine that it was because the machine was turned off. Yes of course I turned itboff- it was making a terrible clicking noise every few hours you could here in every room of the house day and night. Oh, so after another 30 seconds we get diagnosis number 2- the water filter somehow causing the machine not to make ice. I protested, how can the filter which I replaced 6 months ago be causing the ice maker not to work? Clearly the ice tray was being filled. This caused Herman to give me a rather demeaning lesson on why this was my own fault and there was nothing he could do including him reading me the part of the care instructions on the door verbatim about changing my filter regularly. A couple days later Kevin their phone person called me to make sure my ice maker was working. I said I had ordered it online and hadnt received it yet. He reiterated that it was the filter and I asked him rather knowingly okay so when I replace this thing and it still doesnt work who do I call to have you come back out? He assured me it would work and said if it didnt to call them back and they would fix it right away because it would and again this was something Im 100% the cause of. So here we are, new filters, ice machine still as broken as ever. I called them and Kevin rather rudely said I needed to call my home warranty company first. I reminded him he ask me to call him directly and he said well Im telling you to call the warranty company the whole thing was rude but thats Kevin it seems. So I did, and I called back. Did you know- Jims after hours has no after hours appointments available- nope another day off work waiting for the tech. Also, I did ask if I might have a new technician since Herman was 1. Rude and condicending and 2. completely misdiagnosed my issue twice leading to and iceless holiday. But after checking with the powers that be my man Kevin let me know that wasnt an option and we had to let Herman back into my house to fix his mistake despite my misgivings. Im not sure who Jim is but Im pretty sure I would be bummed to have my name on a company that treats its customers this way.
My LG fridge stopped cooling, Jim came over and diagnosed my fridge same day personally. My compressor had gone out😱He let know that it may still be under warranty...🙌
David came early, did his job very well while I was able to work on my office. It was last week and fridge works great. I love the 1 fee for all fridge repairs, theres no surprises. No parts were needed on my Samsung. I will def will use them again.
I got this technician (Gilbert) through One Guard, my home warranty company. He had to come out twice, and was prompt, courteous and efficient both times. The second time, he noticed the replacement part they sent was broken and rescheduled the appointment, which avoided wasting his time and mine. He said he always checks parts before he brings them out, which is a good idea!
The service provided was excellent. Herman was honest, quick, and efficient. I will not hesitate to reach out to them should appliance issues arise in the future.
Quick service and showed up 5 minutes early. The best part was he had the part and 30 mins later it was fixed! Definitely my appliance repairman anytime in the future!

Had a minor hiccup with scheduling in the beginning, but after speaking with the manager everything went well. Great customer service, she listened to my complaint without interrupting or making excuses and insisted on making it right. VERY HONEST company, the repairman came out and after a few minutes he informed me that I had misdiagnosed the problem come to find out my issue didnt even require repairs but something to do with my vent! I was so grateful that they didnt just do the repair anyway to just take my money, I definitely tell everyone about how honest they are and will recommend them to anyone.
Ive had two service calls now and each time Herman came out. He was outstanding each time. First call was a leak from the bellows intake which was promptly addressed. The second service call I asked to replace the drain pump. Herman informed me that the drain pump was a symptom. Metal was breaking off a rather important part and was expensive to fix. We might as well get a new washer given the cost. He could have replaced the pump and then I could have had a major issue a few days or weeks later. No charge for coming out although he could have done so fairly for a service call.
Best appliance service company EVER. Jims really stands behind their services. I had the waterline replaced on my fridge. The day after the ice maker stopped working, he came out and said there was ice in the feed tube and fixed it. I took out my credit card to pay and he refused to take it, even after my insistence that I need to pay him for his time. I will always use them for anything appliance related.
Absolute worst service EVER!!!! Had my refrigerator repaired first part of December and it took a couple of visits so I lost everything in my refrigerator/freezer. Only for it to go out again a few weeks later and over Christmas and we are on their 4th visit this time around and it is still not repaired and it’s still not their priority because they scheduled at the END of the day before the New Years holiday! It’s not their priority because they already have my money. After the repair the technician left without saying anything leaving my front door unlocked. Will NEVER use them again and will NEVER recommend them EVER! Clearly incompetent because it wasn’t fixed properly the first time and has taken 4 visits since then and clearly no customer service.
I needed to find a reputable appliance repair company, so a quick google search led me to Jims Appliance Repair. They had great reviews on Angies List and Yelp so I decided go give them a try.When the repairman (Gilbert) arrived and later explained the power issue I was having with my dryer, I could immediately tell he knew what he was talking about. While he was fixing the dryer, he happened to notice the vent was not secured to the dryer properly and went the extra mile to get that fixed. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and got the problems fixed promptly.On top of this, they also happened to have a compression adapter part I needed for my fridge water line and got that knocked out too! They saved me a trip or two to Lowes. Ive been recommending them to friends & family ever since! Call them for all your appliance repair needs, you wont be disappointed.
I have an appointment today as I’m typing this & I called the office to see when the technician was coming the lady who returned my call was very rude & disrespectful & was lying saying she didn’t see my name on the list until I told her I got a call saying someone was coming. I just asked a simple question didn’t need all the drama she was starting now I’m upset but need my washer fixed but I will never use them again after she tried to handle me like she did. Guess she didn’t have a good thanksgiving. She’s the lady who’s voice is on the answer machine.

Was referred to Jims by my uncle/realtor Blain Johnson @ JB Goodwin. Great customer service. Fixed my dishwasher for half the cost if not more of a new one. The dishwasher is not very old so went with repairing over replacing. Would use them again for my other appliances!

David came out early, was very nice. Worked on my Samsung dishwasher, found in needed a new drain pump. He ordered the part.. it came in in a few days. The receptionist lady called me right away to schedule an appointment, we scheduled for Wednesday. But during the weekend, we noticed a foul smell coming from dishwasher, since drain wasnt working apparently food was sitting in dishwasher on bottom. I called left a message over weekend, got a call Monday from Kevin, i explained situation abput horrible smell and he didnt have a any cancellations but said if he did he would call me. Then a cancellation came up and he called me back to schedule for Tuesday morning first call. I will also mention that I initially got the first phone call from Kevin, when we initially scheduled the appointment. Kevin was extremely pleasant to speak to, he was so sweet with a kind voice and you can tell he was genuine about helping you and getting you scheduled. Sometimes its hard to find a nice receptionist and one that doesnt make you feel like ypur bothering them. I just want to point that out. He seems like good employee and appreciatte him calling me back. I will write another review of my experience of the repair once the repair is fully done. This appointment was through my home warranty OneGuard, which I happen to like so far.
Worse service ever!!! I requested a service & repair on my washer? The guy just took out the a small filter and cleaned it? I could have done that myself!!! He didn’t take the damn thing apart and nothing else but he tried to charge me 124.00 dollar for BS that I could have done!!! If I were you find another washer & dryer service. At least Sears a little more expensive but their service “is” guaranteed they don’t charge you for BS!!!
The repair guy came and quickly found the problem with my washer and fixed it. So glad I called Jim’s instead of assuming I needed a new washer.
I called them at 930 this morning with my fridge making a loud noise. They had their tech here at noon and done by 115. He even went and got a part. The tech was clean and professional. Called me 15 minutes upon arrival. I definitely recommend them to everybody!
After 3 vists and a lot of angry phone calls a simpale problem still wasnt fixed. if your time is valuable to you - stay away.
