I reached out to Tom at Tomtechi Appliance Repair to inquire about my 6-year old dryer that wouldnt heat/tumble, he provided common issues with my dryer and provided a general quote and valuable considerations whether I should buy new or repair. Ultimately, I chose to repair after learning that dryers can last a long time with simple maintenance and repairs, and the warranty, timeliness and cost of repairing far outweighed purchasing new, even with the holiday sales going on at the time my dryer broke down.Fortunately, I was able to fit in Toms busy schedule. Tom provided ample notification of his en route, was able to diagnose my dryer issues and had the parts necessary to repair and tune up my dryer all within a short period of time (about an hour!). Thomas is amazing! Even when he had no appointments available, he found the time to fit me in. He was quick to provide me options and helped me source the parts to arrive earlier than he could get locally. Other companies told me they couldnt or wouldnt fix my washer for 6 - 8 weeks. Tom was great! I called him on a Wednesday, and he came out that same day to diagnose what was going on with my refrigerator. He diagnosed the issue fast, and instead of trying to charge us to fix it, (which is an expensive fix) he told us to call LG and explain the issue to see if they would come out and fix it. LG said they would cover the problem, and set an appointment to fix it. This saved me almost $1,000. Its not often you come across a business who is this honest, and genuinely wants to save the customer money. I definitely recommend!

Great service and came out quickly. The heater and timer on our dryer stopped working. Friends we spoke to all assumed it was the heating element, but Tom quickly determined the problem was likely electrical and not with the dryer. Sure enough there was a bad connection in our circuit breaker that wasn’t supplying enough voltage to the dryer. Fixing it meant our dryer is working just fine again.

I have hired Tom twice now and both times have gotten the same high level of professionalism and quality repair at a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He needs more than five stars!

I dont write review often, however, I wanted to give Tom a review for the outstanding service that he was able to provide me and my family recently! My Maytag washing machine was having a lid lock issue that disabled the washer from operating. The washer would beep endlessly with an error code begging for repair, so after one day of dad maintenance which consisted of banging on the washer and unplugging its four or five times I decided to find an appliance repair company to fix my washer. I started calling the highly rated repair companies on a Friday morning looking for help, and each company I contacted either was booked up till next week or did not think they could help me. I then called Tom and explained the issue. First thing I liked, Tom asked me to send him a picture on the model number and unit so he knew what he was going to be working with before he arrived, as I explained to Tom that the lid lock part probably needed to be replaced. Second, Tom went out of his way for me as I explained that I have small kids creating piles of laundry and having the washer out of commission for any length of time was not an option for me. Tom was able to order a new part and come out the next day which was a Saturday and fix the washer. I now can wash my families laundry and do not have to hear an annoying beep from my washing machine all thanks to Tom! Tom is very personable and fair with his pricing, I will be recommending him to all my friends and family for their appliance repair needs in the future! Thanks again Tom!

Tom not only came out on short notice, but went above and beyond. After looking at my washing machine, I had a question about my dishwasher issue. He troubleshooted it real quick and got it working. He will definitely be my number one go to appliance repair technician and will recommend to my family and friends.

I really cant recommend Tom enough. He came over for a busted fridge and quickly diagnosed that my Kenmore Elite had one of the famously bad LG compressors in it that LG is currently being sued over. He told me to call Sears repair and request a warranty repair, as the compressor came with a ten year warranty and had failed after only five. He couldve easily signed me up for a $1000 repair, but his honesty and expertise saved me just as much money. Ill continue to recommend him to my family and friends going forward.

Tom is a good man. He came out the same day I called him and although he had a full schedule that day, he managed to come see me. Tom did exactly what he said he would do and when I asked if we should do more, he was very quick to reply that he felt we should wait a week or so to see if the first problem being fixed would help my additional issue. You can’t be more honest than that. He could have easily jumped at the issue to make some money and I would have had no way to know that I could have just waited. My dishwasher was out of warranty and had not worked in months. I heard great things about Tom so I called fully expecting the cost of the repair to be as much as a new dishwasher or it wont work like new. I have called Tom 3 times to work on our dishwasher, dryer and refrigerator. He always appeared at the appointed time and was able to fix the appliances rather quickly and not breaking the bank.The 4th time was for our aging washing machine which really made loud noises during the spin cycle. When I showed him the pieces of black plastic that had been trapped in the bottom filter, he said he could fix it.However, he said that for the amount of time it would take plus the parts, he would have to charge 60+% of the cost of a new washer. Then we would have a 10 year old washer that may run another 2 or 3 years.As a professional, he recommended we buy another washer that would run for 15+ years thus saving money in the long run.I appreciated that he would take the approach of looking out for us and not his wallet. So we gave the old washer its last rights and we give Tom the highest rating.

Tom who is the technician and the owner is a great person to know and trust for your appliance repair needs. I had a repair situation involving my ice maker and Tom was prompt and thorough on his analysis and fair on the cost estimate as he identified another component needing replacement instead of the more expensive ice maker.
