Walked in at 10:00 and left at 1:13. I was there for a long period of time because the lady doing my nails kept messing up. I decided to change the whole nail idea and went for a solid maroon color instead. She ended up giving me a pinkish, red color and didn’t change it when I asked her too. Usually since I’m paying for it with my own money I would like to get what I prefer. Being in there for so long and having miscommunication I was ready to get out of there as soon as possible. When it was time to pay she was still trying to charge me for my first nail idea even though I changed it to just a simple solid color. However, there was miscommunication and two employee’s came up and told her she was in the wrong and was over charging me. I will never go there again and I do not recommend this place.

Anh and Hieu really helped me feel welcome and appreciated!They have a great selection of colors! My nails glow in the dark, lol.Anh and Hieu both own the nail salon, as mother and son.These people are really down to earth and make you feel relaxed!Yall, I just found my nail salon home! Ill be back!!

I decided to try this place out of convenience, because I happened to be in the area - what a mistake. First, the shellac / dip colors that are supposed to be similar were totally different (I ended up with brown/copper toenails and purple fingernails). The very next day, one of my nails split...one and a half weeks later, my nails are DESTROYED! Whether its cheap product or bad technique, I will NEVER go to this salon again. SIDE NOTE: THEY WERE ALSO MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MY USUAL SALON!!!

The staff at Galaxy nails are simply wonderful. I’ve been coming to their salon and spa for over a year and haven’t ever been disappointed. Hieu is my go-to person and all the other techs are supportive and always learning from each other. You can be sure to find cleanliness, courtesy, and professionalism there. They take all the precautions necessary to keep you and themselves safe during this pandemic. Scheduling your appointments ahead of time ensures that you will be in-and-out in a timely fashion and gives the employees the opportunity to meet your needs. All in all, 10/10, highly recommend.

Paid $50 for ugly nails. My manicure has divits all in it. Like little water drop shapes. Also did not uniformly shape nails. I asked her to fix it and did do something but it didnt fix it. I just shaped the nails myself but I cant fix the finish. Expected a much better job from this place.

Low stars because i left with 3 cuts around 2 of my fingernails and IT HURTS. Manicure should be taking care of nails, not filing your customers skin under the nail. And my nails are more squoval when i asked for round.

Sat me down for a pedicure and left me there for a hour. Some of the shellac on my toes came off during that first week. Save your money & time and go someplace else.

Went in for a fill. They told the girl that came in maybe 5 min after me that it would be a 30 min wait, then had me sit there and wait for over and hour and started someone that got there 40 min after I did before me. Didn’t even get to have my nails done, I just walked out after waiting for so long.

Meh. Just meh. Nothing special.

I went in to get my nails done and the most basic pedicure. Nails were supposed to be $35 to $45. Pedicure $25. She talked me into a better pedicure for $35. So I get ready to pay, thinking $80 right? She charges me $15 dollars for the polish on my toes!!!! It was just regular nail polish from Sallys. I have the exact same bottle at my house.It has been less than a week. My nails are pulling up and there are tiny little bubbles in the Pink American Manicure AND it there are PURPLE moons between the pink and white. Super disappointed. Never going back.

A hidden gem really.

I have been here several times without any problems but the last 3 pedicures I got were absolutely horrible. I don’t like to complain but the same man has given me my pedis & within a day my toes are sore. Yes I went back again because I like the owners & wanted to give them another chance. Never again. You can see the dried blood where he made me bleed. I told him several times he was hurting me & he ignored me. Now I will have to treat my feet with neosporin so that I don’t get an infection. My bad for giving them a chance again & again. Won’t make that mistake again.

I love Galaxy Nails! I always get my nails done by Kim and shes the best! Shes a professional! Great selection of colors in nail polish, gel, acrylic and dip powders! Always keeping track of new styles and colors for every season! Also they always treat their customers very well from watching them treat other customers!

When first going into Galaxy Nails I had high hopes due to the nice exterior however, I was extremely disappointed due to the fact that my acrylic nails were thick, crooked, and painful. The next day I returned to express my unsatisfaction and discomfort when I was met by a rude employee, Nancy, who roughly grabbed my hands and said that it was not the nail, but my finger that was crooked. She began yelling and cussing at me, and refused to fix my nails properly. The establishment was unsanitary and customer service was terrible. I will not be returning, there are far better places to get your nails done in the San Angelo area.

Really terrible customer service. I tried making conversation with my nail tech and he turned away to talk to another employee mid sentence. When I first walked into the salon, one tech tossed several rings of colors at me. After I asked if all of the colors were for dip, he walked away saying “yeah, sorry to make things so hard on you.”He also left finger prints on my nails and didn’t try to fix them. One nail bled. I don’t understand why they have great reviews... I wouldn’t recommend this salon for any service.

My first time here. It was a unpleasant experience. I was getting my nails done for my wedding. They started cracking before I left And I had two deep cuts on two of my fingers! I was sooo mad that I paid $50 to have my fingers in band-aids ON MY WEDDING DAY!!

Came here to get a shellac pedicure and a fill. my pedicure was great and the young woman who did my toes was very polite and even kept my son somewhat entertained while the man was ruining my fingers. my nails are so freaking horrible and i’m debating ripping them off and going somewhere else to have them redone because i’m going on vacation in two days. first of all, i had powder on my nails and wanted them to be filled with shellac. he found the matching powder, filled my nails with the matching powder, did a horrendous job on shaping and filing them. there is orange powder all over my nail beds and he didn’t even completely cover the orange with shellac so i have pink and orange nails. second problem, they’re extremely THICK. they look like that hideous “100 coats of fingernail polish” video. they are very wavy and have bumps in the polish that looks like complete garbage. i am honestly disgusted and will never go back here.

My sister and wife came here to get their nails done, no complaints about my sisters, but Galaxy really did a pathetic job on my wife. My wife asked for a specific shade of blue and the guy doing them gave her purple. She stated that the polish was purple and he ststed that they turn blue after drying. He put on the wrong size nails and after her nails dried purple, she brought up the color and he told her that the color was blue. She just walked out at that point as we had other obligations, but this was very disappointing.

Normally I dont have any issues. But I only got a 7 minute leg rub. It says a 10 minute foot massage. I paid 45$ to walk out with calluses still and my feet still hurt terribly which was the point of the pedicure. Tried hinting multiple times that the foot massage was the main point. Nail polish looks old, and Im not sure the equipment was cleaned before hand. Instead of upselling please try to listen to what the customer wants.
