Love working with Crestview management. Rachel has always been quick and responsive at handling our property and getting the right people in to repair it when needed. She has taken a lot of the nuances and day to day stress out of managing a property for us out of our hair. I am so grateful for them and their willingness to do such a great job.

Tried talking to management about the unkept property surrounding our place that our renters insurance wants to drop us because its a massive fire hazard and they blew it off. Renters insurance dropped us this week amd we cant get it back until the property is fixed. We then paid rent for the month and 4 days later the bank says that there was a problem on the crestview management side to which we were charged a return fee. Been trying to reach someone to resolve this but no one will get back to us and except to say we have to move out

Called in a week before i needed a showing and scheduled 2. I was informed that the places might be rented by the time i view them but that i would be notified ahead of time. The first property i was notified for... the second i was notified that the property was already rented exactly one minute after we showed up for the viewing.when i called they offered zero help or options just said “im sorry for checking the viewing status one minute after you’re viewing!”

I’m new to the property management. I had an amazing landlord who unfortunately had to sell and unfortunately sold to this ignorant so called business. I’ve literally not had one good experience with them. And it’s only been two months since they’ve taken over on my lease.Today was an experience to say the least. My camera detected someone was on my premises. Found out it’s a repair man in which I had no knowledge of him coming out. So I called the office to ask? Rachel, with her snotty attitude reminded me that it was NOT my property and that she didn’t need to inform me that he was coming out.I think not. In part of me paying my rent, I’m entitled to privacy as well as a courtesy call or message that someone will be out at my house. And no nothing was mentioned . I highly highly recommend you do you research on this Managment company before going with them. Cause I sure wouldn’t do business with them if I had a choice .

The application process was very simple. Gabby and Rachel are great to work with. I love my new place, I have had a couple of issues come up but Rachel was on top of it. She responded quickly and fixed the issues with in moments. If you have credit issues I would encourage you to apply for a place with Crestview Management. They will go above and beyond to get you approved and moved into a place.

A few issues with this company:1) Do not let Rachel Matemate in your house if your children are present! She came for an “inspection” and was completely unprofessional and used horrible language in front of my kids. This is completely inappropriate! I’ve tried many times to get her manager’s contact information to file a complaint and she’s refused to share it. This is not okay.2) Her and her office’s incompetence is very unprofessional. Russel was who we first worked with out of her office. We moved from out of state so much of our communication was done over the phone and email. My husband went to Utah ahead of me and looked at the property. While walking through the property, my husband pointed out several spots of previous damage, dirt, and filth. Russell failed to record anything. He also told my husband “the mail keys & garage door opener must be in a drawer somewhere”. They weren’t. (We never got a garage door opener, by the way.) When Russell finally dropped the keys off super late one night (also not okay, I mentioned again to him that the filth was disgusting and at 36 weeks pregnant I’m really upset that the carpets weren’t cleaned and the previous tenants dog hair was ALL OVER. “Oh really? It’s dirty?” Yes, that was his response. When we moved out, we had to pay all sorts of carpet cleaning fees - but we also had to pay them independently when we moved in because the carpets were gross....... Something doesn’t add up here.3) We had a garbage issue (garbage was paid separately of the HOA) but the garbage was paid by the owner in our lease. I complained to Rachel and it took them a few WEEKS to send someone to come get our trash until they were able to come up with a solution. This is completely unacceptable.4) They won’t fix anything that normally happens. The glue wore out on the cabinet piece that goes under the kitchen sink. The makeshift drawer that isn’t actually a drawer. It popped off. No big deal, I just didn’t have a clamp to hold the door on to fix it. Everything was fine, it just needed a bit of glue and a clamp. They charged me $60!!!!!!! It’s normal wear and tear, no big deal. She made sure to make it a big deal. There are so many other items I could bring up, but I’m not wanting to go that deep into this review. I’m really hoping Rachel’s manager sees it and FINALLY contacts me. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was just ridiculous and unprofessional of Rachel Matemate.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to maintenance issues! Way better than the other management company that used to manage my apartments. I have worked with lots of people at this management company but must say, while they have all been wonderful, Rachel has always blown my mind with her level of experience and excellent customer service!!!

Unfortunately Crestview Management took over my apartment building mid-lease. I would have never signed a contract with them directly. I had issues with getting things done, like my outdoor staircase that had torn up carpet that caused one of my guests to almost fall down the stairs. I repeatedly asked for the carpet to be removed to prevent injury, and finally after a couple months, I just did it myself. They would not compensate me. I then asked for thread to be put in the stairs to prevent them from being slippery, that never happened. The people they hired to mow our lawn brought their 3 pit bulls with them and let them run around the neighborhood while they worked. I did not feel comfortable leaving my house when they were there.I had a horrible septic smell for a couple months which took a long time to take care of.When I moved out, Crestview tried to keep my dog deposit and cleaning deposit even though my dog didn’t do anything to the apartment and I left it perfectly cleaned. I had worked it out with the owner that I would get my cleaning deposit back since I am a professional cleaner, so I emailed Rachael when I gave my notice to move out and asked about the cleaning deposit. Rachael said I should clean as best as I can and then she would do a walk though and decide if I should get the deposit back. She never contacted the owner about my request and then when it came time to return it, she kept it saying that it was written in the lease that it was nonrefundable. I told her that is why I sent her the email so we could work this out in advance. On the day I moved out and cleaned, I texted Rachael and asked her when and how I could get my deposit. She told me it would take 30-45 days. I was blown away. What could possibly take so long? The apartment has 4 rooms. I obviously complained, but checked the law which stated that they had 30 days to get it to me, so I waited. I got a certified letter in the mail from Crestview three weeks later that I had to go pick up at the post office. When I opened it, it was a statement saying they would be refunding $875 of my $1300 deposit. I called Rachael right then and was furious. After all the communication and then she sends me this letter that was inaccurate. They were going to keep the $175 for cleaning and then didn’t even have the dog deposit on there. When I asked her about that, she said it was nonrefundable. I went back and took screenshots of our conversations and my lease and she finally admitted that I was right. $250 deposit. I asked her if she knew what “deposit” means.I ended up contacting the owner of the property which I realize I should have done in the first place, and she made things right. Finally. Since they waited until the last day to give me my money back, I had to give them my bank account info so they could deposit money. Unprofessional all around, but I did get ALL my money back after lots of ridiculous communication.I am writing this so people are aware of how technical and unfair these guys are.BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT WHAT YOU SIGN. Be sure to look at what is refundable and what is nonrefundable. And then be prepared to wait 30 days (at least) to get your deposit back. I would NEVER rent from these guys, or have them manage my property.Good luck fellow renters. Stay aware

I have used Crestview management for over a year on a four Plex theyve done a great job. I recently had a tenant move out The first part of December. The tenant left the place a mess. Rachael took care of everything, paid to have all the garbage hauled out and had it re-rented in just a few days. They are always very responsive. The staff has always been great to talk to and work with. I am a seasoned landlord with many rentals, they are the third property management company I have used for this property and by far the best.
