This staffing agency sent me to a job where I worked a week and I am still waiting to get paid. Whenever I call the office I get “please hold” and the call ends and I know it’s from their end. I have been patient, and Whitney I believe is her name told me she would call me back regarding my pay check and I still have not received a response or reply. The lack of communication at this agency is time consuming and unprofessional.

The staff at this location are awesome! They are super friendly and always willing to address any concerns that may arise. They also remember their employees and really put in an effort to find jobs for them, unlike other staffing agencies Ive gone through. Andrew is a great guy and really puts in his best effort to make the agency as great as possible. The location also has a high number of great, well paying jobs, and the staff really tries to find a job thats the right fit for everyone. 5 stars!

I started today, in the begging they told me they would know if I had a job by Thursday they said they had it they called on Friday at 9 am to tell us that we didn’t have the job but blamed me for not answering after I did then said “ we must have lost service “ so then why didn’t you call back? U had all day to call.. then Monday morning (today!!) I had to cal them to see what was going on and they told me that we didn’t have a job called me back a few hours later WITH THE SAME JOB THEY WERE GONNA GIVE ME! Foul play here I swear

These guys have set me up with a lot of really cool jobs and have helped me build my resume and skills beyond anyone that I know that’s my age. I really enjoy all the interactions I have with the office and I like to work along side the other temps in some of the jobs. Would highly recommend working with them if you’re a hard worker, looking to get to work quickly, and ready to have a fun and challenging line of work.

They are an appointment based company only. They will not let you in otherwise. Most everything is done online.

Andrew was fantastic with showing great patience during my brutal accptance into the express family.

I am giving 3 stars (even though 2.5 stars would be more accurate but this will have to do) because in the beginning everything was great, the people and recruiter was great, the hiring process was easy and I loved the job assignment i was put on along with just about all my co workers. However, I had reached out to my recruiter Jani about the abuse and hostile work environment i had been dealing with on the assignment on a daily occurrence, multiple times a day. I reached out to Jani on a wed because I had enough and never got contacted back. Jani waited until 6 days after i made the complaint and only after i emailed her telling her this agency obviously didnt have my best interest at heart and I will not be going back to the assignment. If I didnt make the effort Im not sure if or when Jani or someone would of called me back. Jani had said on that wed when I called her that she was going to talk to her supervisor and reach out to me by the end of that day before she left for the day to go over options. I had called around 2-3PM on Wed and she said i would get a call before 5-6 which never happened. I gave her the benefit of the doubt figuring id get a call Thursday and that never happened. Friday came and went as well, no attempted contact from the agency. I was being mentally and verbally abused/attacked on my job assignment daily and I had been there for 5 months. I was being called stupid daily, the company I was working for refused to teach me anything, they would yell and make snide comments When i had a question, needed help or was just trying to get educated and understand. There was racist comments, Ada violation comments and much more. This just gives you an idea of the seriousness of the situation. When I finally got a response from Jani she waited until Friday - 3 days after i complained via phone to her- before she attempted to reached out to the GM at the job assignment. I only got a response via text message that following Monday (6 days later) and only because I made the effort to email Jani after waiting an excessive amount of time that was uncalled for and not professional in any way. I then get contacted by the Taylorsville office and I told them I wasnt going back and due to what happened for them to tell me that they had no knowledge of any of this and that my recruiter Jani never said anything to anyone! Taylorsville location did say if there was anything they could do to make it right to let them know. However, at that point it was a little to late, the damage had been done. Jani was great to work with in the beginning along with the other staff. I felt like Jani and I had a good connection. I always stayed on top of keeping them informed and what not. I felt I wasnt important enough nor was the situation important due to the lack of trying to handle this problem in a timely manner and not letting others know. If you cant have your own staffing agency have your back, then I dont suggest going through that agency! If this whole situation had been handled different then my rating and experience would of been different and I may of still been with the company doing what I enjoyed. I am disappointed in Jani along with the agency with the whole thing. There is defiantly poor communication within this company.

The first time I had an interview at 11:00 A.M. When I got there the lady up front put me in front of a computer, and said fill this application out. I told her I did not bring in my log in information. She said that was okay. I sat there for 25 minutes and finally said the heck with this. They are so unprofessional. I walked out. Later the lady said we had an appointment at 11:00 A.M. I said that I was there.Last Wednesday I decided to give them another chance. They said they had a driving job. I needed to get my MVR and come back which I did. They said Friday they would now for sure. They called me Friday and said Monday. Monday came and they said Wednesday. I called Wednesday and she said hi Derek what can I help you with. I think they filled the job and just strung me along for a week. I would give them a zero, but 1 star is good enough.

I am an employer.My Express Staffing experience included:1. A felon2. Express unable to invoice correctly3. The branch location manager on an extended vacation (in China)4. An endless narrative of inter-office drama & employee gossip & negative commentary.5. An Express Office Employee quitting6. Having Marcy hang up on me when asking is my credit deducted from my balance?7. Office staff reveling in every bit of gossip & intrigue, relaying it to me.8. An employee sending threatening texts & emails.9. Many angry emails and texts from employees not paid for hours worked and reported.I could go on.It was the most utterly unprofessional experience Ive ever had.The Express staff tried hard but lacked competency, training and professionalism.Many of the employees I got were far better than other agencies. The potential for a fantastic staffing agency is there but a lack of competency made it endlessly frustrating.I had to engage the corporate office in Oklahoma and contact the Manager of the Taylorsville office (same owner) to finally provide a basic invoice. He was baffled as to why it was such an ordeal as well.

Couldnt cash my check. I wouldnt work until I got it cashed. Judy went crazy. Their entire office treats the workers so awful. I hear them berate people EVERY TIME Im in there. I never thought it would happen to me. It did & I quit.

Express was a JOY to work with! They are all so friendly and super helpful, and they really help you flush out what you can do, giving you the most potential jobs. Terrible staffing company! they dont drug screen any of their employees, or verify qualifications. management is extremely cheap and refuses to screen their employees whatsoever. you are better off finding help at home depot

If I could give it 0 stars, I would! They were great in the past. I just called & spoke with Marcy?? Or whatever the hell her name is😂😂 why did she sound like she had her face laid flat on the table? She then ended the call in the middle of saying something and it sounded like she was dozing off. Lol Ive never had this experience with an agency before! Bad thing about it, its almost 10..hours say open from 8..has she been at her desk SLEEPING this whole time ?! Tsk tsk get it together Express!!
