This place is awesome. Grandview is a single location, family owned practice. Dr. McLachlan explains everything they do from start to finish and has all the latest technology installed (if I knew the names of the tools I’d share).I was pleased with photos of my own teeth they showed me, call outs of the good, the bad, the pearly, and friendliness of the staff. Charlee is such an amazing hygienist! I have been going to other dental offices for years and I was so grateful she treated me with such kindness. The dentist was very informative and he was explaining everything in a way that I could understand it. I would definitely recommend coming to this dental office!!!!

I was looking for a new dentist after recently moving to Utah. I had my first appointment today at Grandview Dental for a cleaning and the other x-rays that come with being a new patient. I was highly impressed with Dr. Adam McLachlan, the hygienists, and all of the staff! They did a wonderful job of explaining my x-rays and what was happening as the appointment went on, they continued to check in throughout the appointment to make sure I was comfortable or see if I needed anything, and they were all very kind and friendly from the moment I stepped through the door! I would highly recommend checking them out! They also have a great dental membership plan for if you do not have insurance, so that was an awesome added bonus. I will definitely be going back!

This team is absolutely amazing! I previously had awful experiences with Dentist which deterred me from seeing a new dentist. I was very much over due to be seen by a dentist. I had this very intense tongue tie for all of my life, and they helped me finally release it and they did a wonderful job! The dentist sent me to a speech therapist to help exercise my tongue and prepare for surgery! It was a very good overall process and I would highly recommend! They also do my normal teeth checkups and do a wonderful job! I would 100% this place to... anyone 😂

I have had TMJ for years and then this past year it has gotten to be really bad. In fact, when I made it to Dr. McLachlan, my jaw had been locked for days. Dr. McLachlan and his staff were kind, courteous and very knowledgeable about my problem. My TMJ has gone back to not being a nuisance and the solution is something that I can live with. I always felt comfortable in the office and was able to make appointments quickly and easily. Definitely 5 star treatment!

My root canal was quick and painless, something i never thought I’d say. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. I will never go to another dentist again!

I was referred to Grandview Dental 4 years ago by a friend and have not been disappointed. Dr. McLachlan and his staff are best in class. Not only are they extremely competent, but they are positive, kind and take the time necessary with each patient. There is such a great autonomous culture that is almost tangible. On one occasion I had a dental emergency on a Saturday and was shocked that within minutes Dr. McLachlan himself called me right back and was able to get me the necessary treatment very quickly and was so gracious about the situation. I have been very impressed with Dr. McLachlan, my hygienist Whitney and the entire staff at Grandview Dental. I have been coming for a couple years now, and they are very thorough when it comes to cleanings, procedures, and explaining what is going on with your dental health. I am also currently doing Invisilign, and Dr. McLachlan has made sure that he educates me on where my teeth should be, and how the process is going. I like that he did Invisilign himself, so he has the experience as a patient as well. Overall I have been very happy with my experiences here and would highly recommend them.

Adam and his staff are probably the best dental office Ive ever set foot in - hands down. My first visit I was treated full treatment including an X-ray which revealed a condition I had no idea I had till they pointed it. I was able to schedule a root canal at a later date for it and was in and out in about an hour. The process was rather painless considering it was a root canal and my recovery was less than an hour after. Excellent work and service!!!

Dr. McLachlan has been our family dentist for for about 12 years. We’ve been seeing him since before my kids (ages 6 and 9) were born, and have continued to see him even after moving to another county. He is hands down the best dentist I have ever had. He is genuine, personable, and someone I trust completely as far as his knowledge and expertise. When my parents moved to Salt Lake City in 2014, I immediately recommended his practice to them as well. I have also always been very impressed with his staff and his office. Everyone we have encountered there is always so kind, helpful and professional. The office itself is clean, elegant, yet comfortable. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Dr. McLachlan. I have only been coming to Grandview Dental for about a year and I never want to go anywhere else! I am very prone to cavities and have had countless fillings throughout my life. Dr. McLachlan performs the most comfortable, quick and easy fillings I have ever had! All of the staff is very professional and friendly. I’m not nervous to come to the dentist anymore! Not long ago I discovered I was partially tongue tied and needed an adult frenectomy. (Being tongue tied has all kinds of nasty side effects such as headaches, messed up posture etc.) A little searching led me to Dr McLachlan - who has acquired additional expertise in this area. I was pleased with the skill and speed with which he was able to address the problem - as well as his diligent follow up as I healed (adults need more care than infants being treated for this). A week post-op and I was almost as good as new - well better actually! I now have excellent mobility of my tongue and have felt extensive release in my neck and shoulders. The headaches are gone and my neck posture has improved. In general I am much more comfortable. If only I had known about this treatment and Dr. McLachlan sooner!

Adam and his staff are hands down the best and make the experience so enjoyable. I have been going to Adam since he graduated with his DDS and there has never been a question in my mind if I should look for someone closer to home.After conversations with friends and family, Adam is one of the few dentist who performs a routine oral cancer screen during each visit. This just goes to show that he goes the extra mile to make sure his patients are taken care of!

Ive been going to Dr. McLachlan for about 8 years. Its been great. One thing I really like is that I dont get pushed into doing work that will line his pockets. I have the old metal fillings, and some dentists might insist on getting them replaced. He checks on them every visit to make sure they look good, and asks me how they feel, but theres no pressure to get them redone.

GrandView dental is amazing! The staff is super friendly and professional. They are very organized and get you in and out, no wasted time waiting around. The place is very clean and they always have new state of the art equipment to make your experience as easy, comfortable, and seem-less as possible. Dr.McLachlan is the best dentist I have had in my 33 years of life. I have referred GrandView dental to several people who also love it and I will continue to do so. They even give you free teeth bleach with custom molded trays if you’re a regular patient. Does it get any better?

I have been going to Dr. McLachlans practice for quite a while. He is the best dentist Ive had, and Ive had many (Im an old geezer), but I didnt realize how good he is until now. Just recently, I had a tooth crack. It was a previous root canal treatment done by another dentist. The tooth was also the anchor to a bridge. It all resulted in needing an extraction, and a bone graft in preparation for some implants. Dr. McLachlan and Leticia, his assistant, worked on me for well over an hour in a series of very complicated procedures. I was very impressed with Dr. McLachlans up-to-date knowledge and meticulous skill, Leticias very competent assistance, the overall professionalism and friendliness of everyone in the practice, and his use of state-of-art technology. This all resulted in me getting through the procedure and subsequent recovery with minimal discomfort. Dr. McLachlan explained everything he planned to do beforehand, everything he was doing during the procedure, and he prepared me for the recovery process well. To Dr. McLachlans credit, the whole practice runs with an exceptional level of professionalism, good humor, friendliness and caring. I couldnt give a more positive review. Thank you!

I moved to SLC from Seattle and was concerned about finding a good dentist here. The first dentist I found was not a good experience, it was a very pushy dental practice. Finally two years ago I was recommended to Dr. McLachlan and I have nothing but praises for him and his practice. A top notch doctor with excellent staff.

Me and three of my children went to an appointment at the same time. I have a little three-year-old that said she wanted to stay with me but she had no problem going in the next little room to get her teeth cleaned. They talked her through everything she didn’t have any issues at all. Charlie a dental hygienist is great with kids. The dentist Dr. McLachlan is really great with all kinds of people. He pays attention to details and make sure fillings and such are done right. He knows his stuff. Even down to why there tends to be more plaque buildup between two given teeth. We have fun when we go there. This last time there was a contest and we got to vote on which pumpkin we liked the best. It was so much fun for me and my kids.The secretary and everyone else I’ve seen there are very friendly and nice to be around.

Dr McLachlan is the best, and I dont say that lightly. There are many bad practicing dentists out there. He is above all else HONEST. He tells you what needs to be done by pointing it out on his scan and making sure you both see and understand. His hygienists are amazing like the kind of people who pay attention to the details. I met Charlie once and 6 months later she remembers my kids by name and the details of my life. I took my husband here a few years ago and he instantly became a McLachlan convert. I recommend him to everyone when dentistry is talked about. I moved from Sugarhouse to Bountiful, and Im happy to make the drive to see someone I trust. I will be a McLachlan patient as long as he is practicing.

I had a lot of questions about TMJ/tongue tie and Dr. McLachlan was incredibly generous with his time and compassionate in his approach to me. The dental hygienist corrected an incorrect diagnosis from another dentist/hygienist and spent plenty of time educating me about how to manage it going forward.

Adam was so knowledge on lip and tongue ties. I Luckily they had an appointment for the day I called, and I was able to get the procedure done the same day for my 3 week old. The staff was so great to work with and made me feel so comfortable.

Dr. McLachlan and his staff have always been very kind to me. I hadnt been to the dentist in probably 6 years prior to going here because Ive always been terrified of the dentist, but they were very patient and helped me get comfortable. They always make sure that I get the same dental assistant and shes so nice. I didnt think she would remember me, but just the other day she asked me how wedding planning was going when I havent been in their office for 6 months. Im sure they keep notes in their files, but even that little added personal touch really made a difference. Ive been going here consistently for 3 years now and I love these guys. I hate going to the dentist. I have had nothing but bad experiences with dentists in the past, but I love these guys! We found them because my teenage son needed a tooth pulled and they took our insurance, but after that experience I went to them too. I needed 2 root canals along with rebuilding the broken teeth. 2 days later I ended up with an infection that has swollen my face up. Called and they had me in the office within 30 mins to help me. Had to go back later that day with my son and I almost passed out due to the infection and they took care of me. I never felt like I was a burden or a problem. They listen to me and explain and genuinely care. Ive even been given instructions to call his cell should the infection get worse. I am so happy to have finally found a dentist that I trust and like.

The dentist came in especially early to see our one month old daughter last minute. He released her tongue, lip and buckle ties by laser. He explained the procedure beforehand very professionally and compassionately and did a wonderful job. She has much greater range of motion of her tongue and we are able to breastfeed with less pain. I cant recommend them enough.

I always walk out of Grandview Dental with a smile on my face! Charlie is the most amazing gentle, but thorough hygienist, I wouldnt trust my teeth cleaning to anyone else. Dr. Mclachlan is talented; he repaired my front tooth chip and you cant tell where my real tooth meets veneer, the construction is seemless! He also replaced my metal fillings on my lunch hour! Dr. McLachlan is fantastic - my crown fell off and he came in on Saturday evening to take care of it - on a holiday weekend, no less! Hes gentle and very thorough and takes all the time a patient needs to thoroughly answer all questions or concerns... Hes really amazing! And the staff is just fabulous - cant say enough about them, really!! We moved further away from his office about a year ago but theres no need to find somewhere closer - Dr. McLachlan and his staff are worth the drive!

Also, the staff provides accurate cost estimates upfront for procedures, taking into account my insurance. Ive never had a dental office do that before. I wish medical doctors did that!

Finding an honest dentist can be tough. I highly recommend him.For bonus points, access to this site from I-80 is super quick using the 2300 East exit. Dont think that you cant get here.
