I’ve been a patient for Dr. Palmer for over 5 years. He is fantastic and really cares about the patients oral health. He is the best, I drive 3”20 min to see him. The staff is amazing and very friendly, they get you in and out very quickly.... you are not waiting long hours to see the dentist. Dr. Palmer is very professional and honest and gives you options regardless of the money he could make. I would recommend Dr. Palmer and his staff to anyone.

Great! Dr. Palmer and his hygienists are all super friendly and ready to help. Dr. Palmer explained everything well and made sure I felt comfortable and could understand what was going on. Plus they have fun massage chairs which was v nice. Dr. Palmer is very kind to the other employees too which is great! This is hands down the best dental office Ive used over the years in any city! I started the process of a complete restoration of my teeth while living in Portland after lots of cavities that werent properly filled in my 20s. When I moved to Salt Lake City, I had a couple remaining crowns and the front veneers to complete. Dr. Parks and then Dr. Allred were absolutely amazing in provisioning the work. They are deft at making dental care (extensive, in my case!) as pain free as possible, and I couldnt be happier with the final work product. All of the dentists here have a wonderful patient side manner and explain the work they are doing thoroughly.My insurance covered a large portion of the top veneers as the teeth had several fillings that would have had to be removed and replaced (or crowned); when they rejected the invoice for the lower teeth, the office offered a fair price and worked with me (and when I say fair, I mean fair - about 1/4 the price I was quoted in NYC and about 1/2 what I was quoted in Portland).They have my highest recommendation.

They are always on schedule, in and out! But still thorough and make me feel cared for.Dr. Palmer is extremely friendly and confident in his practice. I always have a positive experience. Great local dentist!

Dr. Palmer is great. He’s knowledgeable about dental procedures. He takes the time to explain what is needed if complex dental work is needed (as I did). He explains what can happen if you don’t get the procedure done. Takes time to answer any questions. The staff is awesome also. Very friendly and efficient. They take the time to explain billing, insurance issues or whatever. Good place to have dental work.

You’re missing out if you don’t comehere! So glad I changed a few years ago. So efficient and the best staff and care. I don’t have any complaints. Extremely comfortable and they all are excellent in what they do. They have the best technology as well.

I cant even explain the amazing experience I received at SLC Family Dental. From the very beginning to the end. The day before a new job I had broke my front tooth! In tears I went in hopeless, but I left completely taken care of and can start my new job. I am so grateful to all the great the people who work at SLC dental. I’d give 10 stars if it were an option, and I highly recommend them to anyone, even those with a fear of the dentist. I had been looking for a new dentist in SLC after moving. I hadn’t found one yet but woke up with a cracked tooth. I called and was able to get an appointment that same day in the afternoon. The staff were friendly, well informed, and professional, and Dr. Allred clearly explained the process involved in fixing my tooth. I needed a bit more dental work than I expected, but Dr. Allred offered an option to take care of it all that same day even though I’m sure he and his staff stayed a bit overtime to make it work. I truly can’t thank them enough for their care, kindness, and willingness to accommodate me.

I got my teeth cleaned by Taylor and she is AMAZING!!! Andra the assistant was personable and so friendly. Dr Palmer is seriously so awesome! Will keep coming here till I die!

What a great staff! Amazing doctors and hygienists, I couldnt believe all the cool new technology there is in the dentristy world and they have it all! Hand held x-ray machines, sonic teeth cleaning that takes half the time and cleans great. Overall very good experience!

When I first went to SLC Family Dental it was on an emergency basis without insurance and a broken front tooth. Dr Palmer was amazing as well as the staff to fit me right in on a Hot July Friday PM. My tooth and front grill looks just like nothing had ever happened. They worked with me on the bill and I have stayed with the office for 5 yes or more now.Recently I broke a back molar and was in a lot of pain and discomfort for many days until I broke down (again; no insurance) but I called for an appointment and they got me in same day with Dr Allred. He’s fantastic and was able to get me taken care of. Time for healing now! Yay!Truly, I love this office, the Doctors and their staff. They are true professionals and know what patient care and customer service is all about.

My husband and I both see Dr. Palmer as our general dentist and feel hes the best dentist weve ever had. My experience with dentists has been that they are often not transparent about costs and try to upsell you on procedures you may not actually need, but weve never had that experience here. I feel theyre very honest and transparent, and weve had nothing but good experiences here. His administrative staff is also very nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend him!

Ive had mostly great experiences with this office! There was a scheduling mix up once that was relatively inconveniencing, but I understand these things happens. Dr. Palmer and staff are kind and professional.

This dentist office has an extremely small, claustrophobic office space, with a staff outnumbering patients four fold. I saw that the parking situation is very limited and not conducive to parking safely. I’ve heard that this dental office has a reputation for overcharging patients insurance and then charging patients the difference. I’m told by previous and potential patients that the pressure of up selling services that are not necessarily needed, but could benefit the bottom line feels like a slimy used car dealership. In my opinion, bottom line, I’d avoid obtaining dental care here.

Dr. Palmer is the BEST dentist I have EVER been to- and that says a lot because I have been to dozens. I have had teeth problems my whole life, and I have felt so discouraged and defeated by so many dentists and not sure what to believe, feeling like they aren’t trusting etc. I was referred to Dr. Palmer by 3 separate people so I took a chance. He has been amazing. He thoroughly explains to me everything that’s going on and what he’s going to do- I feel like he is 100% trustworthy and isnt just trying to make some money— but genuinely cares. I feel so much more hopeful about my teeth for the first time so I am a patient for life! He is also extremely gentle and careful which is awesome too. His staff is sooo friendly and nice! I’m just so grateful I have found someone I trust since my teeth have always been a huge concern my whole life.

These guys are great! The most wonderful staff and care! I found Dr. Palmers office after having a terrible experience elsewhere so I was nervous going back to a dentist but even as a new patient they got me in same week and did a great job and took such good care of me! Everyone in the office was entirely helpful and kind. 10/10 recommend.

Good basic dental care, but we feel like we’re constantly being upsold by Dr. Palmer for procedures and other fixes that aren’t necessary. We have gotten second opinions a couple of times and both times the second dentist has disagreed. We’ve opted not to “fix” and a few years later things are still fine. I appreciate the friendly staff and I have no complaints about basic dental care, but it’s obnoxious to constantly have to say, “no thank you.”

I had a great experience here! I am very scared of the dentist and had not been to one in a few years. Every person from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist were so very very nice and accommodating. They got everything I needed done as quickly as possible while making sure I was comfortable the whole time. I really appreciated the whole staff and would highly recommend them to anyone with a fear of the dentist.

The whole staff were super nice; you rarely experience this kind of superb hospitality anywhere these days! Taylor, (and was it Shirley?), and Dr. Palmer were so friendly, my visit there felt more like seeing friends and/or families rather than an appointment. I definitely recommend this congenial and amicable place to anyone and everyone!

Dr Palmers office got me in right away for a tooth ache. I was a new patient. They explained everything really well and we’re very thorough. Dr Palmer was conservative with his treatment plan and had me on my way quickly. I’m super prone to cavities so they gave me prescription toothpaste. The dental chairs were also massage chairs which was awesome.

Dr. Palmer and the staff are AMAZING! Extremely accommodating and professional. I have always absolutely dreaded going to the dentist until I found this team, excellent patient care and welcoming atmosphere. THANK YOU DOC AND STAFF!!

I am super picky when it comes to dentists. I can handle any other medical procedure, but when it comes to my mouth I am very particular. Dr Palmer, Dr Park, and the entire staff here are fantastic. The office is a little small, but they do a good job managing the space. I live in utah county, so its a bit of a drive, but its always worth it. I really appreciate the honesty and integrity both Dr Palmer and Park practice. Prior to my first visit, I went to a different office and both the hygienist and doctor told me I had at least four cavities with the possibility of even more in the near future. They handed me a packet and walked me across the office to their financing department to go over the expense of the now six cavities. I was so confused how I gained two cavities just by walking across the hallway. When I went to Dr Palmer, he told me I had one cavity, and a few problem areas. Not six. So, after taking care of the cavity, he gave me instructions on how to practice better dental hygiene and by the next teeth cleaning the problem areas had cleared up. Needless to say, as long as I live in utah Dr Palmer will be my dentist.

I found Dr. Allred and Dr. Palmer by referral and all I can say is amazing things. Dr. Palmer and Dr. Allred have been amazing dentists. Ive been having work done on my teeth for the past year and I wouldnt of been able to do it if it wasnt for this dental office. They work so well with you and let you make payment arrangements. I was very impressed with my experience with Dr. Robert Palmer. I found their office through my insurance website, and the receptionist was very open and friendly for scheduling an appointment. The x-ray technician, hygienist, and the dentist himself were all so friendly and personable. They were professional and gentle with their work. They contacted my insurance company while I was in my appointment, so payment was quick and the rates seemed reasonable. The office is really small, but clean and nice. Im going back!

Cant recommend more highly. They have always been great working with my anxiety. I had urgent issue come up during the covid pandemic after an injury. I was scheduled immediately and everything was handled so efficiently. An online portal makes communication and payments simple.

Seriously such an amazing dentist! My husband and I both to here and LOVE them. They provide excellent customer service, and Ive never felt like they were trying to sell me into getting a more expensive procedure done. They are honest, fair, and have your best interest in mind.

Dr Palmer and his staff are great! They know me by name and always ask about my family when Im there. Ive always had great dental care from them and would highly recommend them. My wife had a terrible experience with a dentist many years ago that frightened her so bad that she had not been to a dentist for 11 years. Finally a dental issue forced her to go and I recommended Dr Palmer to her. She went and had such a great experience that her fears have calmed and she was very grateful for their care and attentiveness to her needs.

Honestly would not go anywhere else for dental care. Dr. Palmer is knowledgeable and caring, he will do whatever it takes to help you feel better. Ive had 2 extractions and implants, a root canal and my wisdom teeth taken out. He did an excellent job on all of them and really makes me feel much better anytime Im in the chair. I have anxiety when Im getting work done and I know I can trust him to do a fantastic job, which makes everything go smoother for me. All of the staff there are the nicest people. After my dog Scooby passed away, Dawn was so kind to me about it. Caroline, Paula, Ruth, Deanne, Dawn and Rachel Ive worked with before and are all fantastic as they come, and Im certain everyone there is the same way, even though I dont know them. Thank you for doing what youre doing.

The dentists are skilled, but the administrative staff is a nightmare. Even though weve been patients for a year, they still are unable to properly bill our insurance. Dr. Palmer offered to do $5K worth of unsolicited, cosmetic work on me; and when I asked for a satisfaction guarantee, I was encouraged by the admin staff to go elsewhere. Requests to speak with Dr. Palmer are ignored. I highly suggest you look elsewhere for dental services.

I moved from Georgia about 4 years ago where I used the same dentist for over 20 years. I am fortunate to have found Dr. Palmers office. Dr. Palmer and his staff make me feel like I have been going to them for many years. Always professional and comfortable.

I typically see Dr. Cohen who has been very pleasant and capable. His concern for the patients well-being is evident throughout the experience. After seeing the same dentist for over 30 years, I was apprehensive about someone new but Im very comfortable with Dr. Cohen. Ive seen Dr. Palmer on occasion and he is also personable and professional.So far, so good!

I called into Palmers office, praying for someone who could hopefully help me out, and to mchristinemet Caroline, God Bless her heart. After giving her my info, and my hard luck story, she said that she wasnt able to guarantee that I would be seen, however she would do her best and if I couldnt be seen there, that she would work with me to get me seen somewhere today. Well she made me feel like she cared and she went above and beyond and Spoke with Dr. Palmer who graciously made time to see me. He was very caring and reassuring, and has put together an adept staff of individuals who catered to my dilemma in a way that superceeds any other dental establishment that I have ever frequented.Thank You so very much!

Had two crowns done here and they messed up both, I do not recommend. I went to Foothill Dental and they are alot better.

When in the office, they told me of an appointment a month out, but never confirmed a date or time. called me saying I missed it, but I was never notified of an appointment. They asked if I wanted another appointment, and all they said was they were booked for a long time out. The lady mumbled along for a few minutes searching for a time, but I told her Id rather go to my regular dentist. I just needed a cleaning and m my boyfriend has gone there for a while. Their office is insanely small and the staff is loud, and from trying to set an initial appointment, very poor experience. If you have gone for a while, they may be good, but forget about wanting to go there, they could care less.

I will not be returning to Dr. Palmers officeThey had multiple mix ups with my primary and secondary insurance.Submitting bills to the wrong insurance and quoting me incorrect prices on my orthodonture trays.When I tried to explain my benefits I was treated as if I didnt know what I was talking about.After no exaggeration, 15+ different insurance mix ups I finally had both my insurances do a three way call with Dr. Palmers HR employee to confirm who was secondary and who was primary.I thought everything was FINALLY settled. But then, I walked in for an appointment and was told I had a $500 bill for my ortho trays.Initially Dr. Palmer & his staff had quoted and confirmed with me multiple times that my insurance covered 100% of the $1,000 cost.I am beyond frusterated and disappointed in my experience with Dr. Palmers office. Their staff is Incompetent and I no longer trust them with my heath care.My entire family will be moving dentists.
