Great work! I’m always nervous to go to a place I’ve never been but I’m glad I did. Laura is a skilled barber.I came in knowing I wanted a number 2, medium high fade with a little off the top and then just had my fingers crossed.I don’t think my hair has ever looked this clean. Laura lined up my beard way better than I do too. I magically don’t have a double chin lol. My girlfriend gave me lots of compliments.Everyone in there is so kind and polite. Good music, clean, upscale environment with comfortable chairs and nice equipment.I’m just visiting. My buddy from NYC recommended this place.I almost didn’t see the barber pole behind a tree from where I parked.I really like that I could schedule an appointment online.

While the haircut I got was exactly what I wanted. They spoke very freely about a range of topics ranging from Drinking and driving to Shrooms. From the way the barbers where talking it seems more like a Millennial hangout rather than a place of businesses.

Great value. Place is awesome. I see a recent review about the haircut price going up or being too high... compared to other barbers prices in town I would say the fair market value of basic haircut would be about $50.00 at Stefs. Anything less and you are getting a deal, imo.

Stefs Place is the absolute best in town! Ive been going to Laura for a few years now and I wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair or beard. My oldest sees Jacob and is already hooked on the barber shop experience that Stefs place gives. I see a lot about the prices, but it is worth every cent. Will never go anywhere else!

I have been getting my hair cut at Stefans since they first opened a couple years ago. I love all of their barbers for their excellent attention to detail, fun sense of style and great personalities. The atmosphere at the barber shop is almost like something out of a movie - always entertaining and fun.

Visiting sister from NYC and needed a cut. Amazing friendly barber shop, definitely compare to back home. Made an appointment with Isaiah. He was great with cutting skills and jus having a good conversation. Will definitely come back and see him next time I’m in salt lake from the east coast.

Alright alright alright, I have been too many a barber shops, and this is by far the best one I have ever been too. Thats me including all of my travels foreign and domestic! You wont regret going here. Make sure to book Marcus, besides having rad convos, a slick personality and the precision of a Jedi master, this MoFo plays some super rad music! If you cant get into Marcus no sweat, literally everyone at Stefs can slice and dice to give you that oh so satisfying look.

I have been coming to this barber shop for quite some time now and it will continue to be my go to place. It has a nice environment inside and kept very neat and clean. I like to get my haircut by Isaiah or Marcus and i really appreciate how hard all the staff works.

Ernie trimmed my beard and did a great job. I highly recommend him. Easy to call and get appointments but walk-ins are cool with them too. I hadnt experienced a beard trim before but Ernie showed me the ropes and made me feel comfortable. Stefs place is a perfect place for the rugged man or traditional gentleman.

I love everything about this shop. Chelsea is my regular barber and shes awesome! I have loved every haircut shes given me. Ive also had cuts from most of the other barbers here and theyre all phenomenal. I have also enjoyed their hot lather shave, and nostril wax. Both were a little scary the first time, but I really enjoyed them. My wife loves the aftershave they use after razoring my neckline. I like the hot towel and shoulder massager. I started buying my hair products here instead of buying Axe, Old Spice, Crew, etc. Its more expensive per jar but a small amount goes WAY further than the other brands so it has actually saved me money. I definitely recommend Stefahns barber shop!

Really friendly staff, funny conversations, and a nice atmosphere. Be sure to book your appointment beforehand unless you are fine waiting a while (its a pretty small place). But I dont mind since its such an enjoyable experience and well worth the higher price than some cost cutters franchise.

Im a guy that only and always gets a simple haircut. But I like to enjoy every bit of it, and this place is where its at. My barber is Jacob, and aside from my regular buzz, he insisted on trimming my eyebrows for like a year before I gave in, and now I make sure to get that extra trim. A weird side effect is that my Tinder game has been on point ever since. Anyways, just got my haircut today and am finally getting around to giving a thumbs up to my barber and the cool shop. They even had a dog in there which just made my f#©%ing day.

Fantastic barbers! If you go definitely ask for Jake. He knows how to give a great haircut. Knows how to work around bald/calics spots. My hair grows all types of crazy and he know how cut my hair to avoid it growing back like Mr T/Alfalfa baby.

Been going here for well over a year. Stefahn and his staff are very gifted at what they do, and are friendly to everyone who walks in their doors. They take appointments via phone calls, walk-ins, or from their website. Making appointments seems to yield the best results as they are getting busier as their popularity has grown. I have tried the product lines they carry and for the price, they are great quality. the 45 minute appointments and the $30 haircut means you are getting something with passion and excellent quality. If you want something cheap, fast and of inferior quality and skill; try great clips.

Been looking for a place that would work for my teenage son to get his haircut. Wed had a few bad experiences which really seemed to boil down to people not really taking the time to listen. Chelsea at Stephans was incredible! She really took the time to understand what he was looking for and had such a cool attitude. I could see my son light up as she actually took a genuine interest in making him look good while making sure it was what he wanted. Such a relief to have found a barber he clicks with! Stefan has been cutting my hair for over a year now. After going to him the first time I knew I would be coming back for a long time. He does a great job and the cut turns out excellent every single time. The rest of the guys at the shop are also great. I had a cut from Trevor once and was also very impressed. BEST BARBER SHOP IN THE VALLEY! Great prices for everything from a hot towel shave to nostril waxing. Never have to wait for an appointment slot as they use the wonderful website of Schedulicity. Ive been going to my man Isaiah Boutwell for seven years now and the cuts just keep getting better and better. Ive never seen a fellow patron walk out without the biggest smile on their face and the sickest fade/trim/shave. I only hesitate in leaving a review cause it still feels like the best kept secret in the barber biz. You just cant beat a haircut with hot towel cleanup for $25.

I went in as a walk in on a Saturday and was able to get in one of the four chairs immediately. Jacob was super friendly and was able to answer pretty much every question I had about the city. They offer free touch ups between cuts, and finish you of with a hot towel. For $25, the service cant better!

If you want a 20 minute in-and-out haircut go to Supercuts, here they take their time and get it right! Kate did an amazing job and this is easily the best haircut I have ever gotten! It is priced reasonably but the value for your money is beyond great. Highly recommend.

I moved to Utah 7 months ago and have been looking for a good barbershop and I can say I finally found it!A co-worker told me about Stefahns Barber Shop so I called to make an appointment. They were able to get me in the same day. The shop was easy to find. When I walked in, I was greeted. The interior was pretty cool. A cozy four-chair shop. I waited a couple minutes before Megan walked up and introduced herself. She was my barber and from intro to end, she was great. Had a good conversation while getting my haircut. I appreciated that she was a bit of a perfectionist and wanted to provide me with a great haircut.The other barbers were pretty cool. The environment is very laid back and welcoming. They made me feel like I had been a long time customer.So at the end of the haircut, when Megan spun me around, I gotta say I was really digging my haircut. She did a great job!I would recommend Stefahns Barber Shop and Megan. Theyve earned my repeat business!

I asked my barber if he could cut curly hair, he then immediately started to use the razor because that’s the only tool he can cut hair with. I then said it looks short and he told me it was my fault. Now my hair is sitting half an inch off my head and I’m an egg

I used to love going here. $25 was a little steep for a simple mens cut, but the barbers are friendly and good at what they do. But the hike to $30 just was too much for me to keep going.

Stefan cut my 10-year-old mop in to a great cut that pleased both me and my boss. I didnt believe it could be done, but he done it. It was a busy day but they took me right in, and I got to watch the rest of the shop at work. this is the sort of real barber shop I was certain had driven extinct by chain haircuts in the mall, I was so wrong. Everyone obviously knew what they were doing and genuinely seemed to be having a good time. Good music, too. My greatest regret is that I didnt schedule for a real shave. Thats next time.This place is heftily priced (I for one could not afford a weekly haircut here) but for those who can, or for one of those times when GreatCuts just aint gonna cut it, theres no better place to spend the money.Waiting time is probably longer by the time youre reading this. Bonus: Easy to find from I-15 (6th North exit) and on 3rd West.

So I have been going to Stefan’s and getting my hair cut and beard trim by Trevor for a year now. As I read the reviews, I saw that people were complaining about the minuscule price raise of $5. Firstly, if your bank is breaking over $5, stop paying a barber..: go to target and get a $20 clipper set and just buzz your head. Save yourself some money, and stop wasting time writing pointless google reviews (such as I’m doing write now, a pointless google review. It’s friday and work is slow). I wasn’t stoked about the raise in prices, but I’ve also never left I satisfied with the quality of the haircut I have received and have always felt a warm and inviting level of customer service. It’s not a dull environment and it is one of only a handful of places where you can still recieve a traditional barbering experience. I could go into details of economics and inflation, but that would be pointless. Simply, you get what you pay for at this establishment. If you want a bland haircut, go to Supercuts, if you want a barbering experience, go to Stefan’s.
