Ive lived all over the country and had plenty of barbers that I liked okay, but Perrys the first one to truly ever get my hair right. If you have hair that you feel like most barbers just dont know how to work with, theres a decent chance Perry will surprise you and buck that trend.Plus, hes just a great guy. When you sit in his chair, you have no idea what hes gonna talk about that day, but whether its about the 14 books of the Apocrypha, or about the Green Bay Packers, youll have an interesting conversation.

First time going there. He talked my ear off, which was kind of nice. Im used to going to places like Great Clips where I usually get long awkward silences followed by questions like how many kids do you have. Probably because Im not a great conversationalist. So it was nice to have something to listen to while getting my hair cut. The haircut also looked great. I would go back there.

Perrys is the best barbershop in Salt Lake City, and I dont think its close. He has the lowest prices for a high quality mens haircut and gives a great shave as well. Perrys a good conversationalist and knows a little bit about everything. If an under-thirty minute, quality haircut for a reasonable price sounds appealing, I would highly recommend Perrys.

I want a barber without green hair, massive tattoos and rings in his nose who knows what a business mans haircut looks like. Perry is that person.

I started going to Perry in 1986 he cut my hair for years until 2013 when I became unemployed. After a new job I just could not get to his shop on his schedule times. Been going to see Perry for 5 years or so. Best service in town by far, in a land overflowing with barbers now days. He knows what he is doing and will keep you interested with witty banter. As well he offers great products that are inexpensive. Just wish he was open on weekends or later in the evenings given my work schedule.

Admittedly, I havent been here myself, but I recommended it to a friend based on its rave reviews. He reported to me that he had a great experience, and he has an amazing new do to show for it! Not only was it a quality cut (especially given how thick and unruly my friends hair can be), but it was affordable too. When Im in town next, I definitely plan on stopping in.

Perrys is a great barbershop. He does a great job cutting hair and will give you whatever you ask for. Hell even offer advice if thats what your looking for. The shop is pretty small and you might miss it but its worth looking for. The neck shave and massage when youre done are just icing on the cake. I will never go anywhere else for a haircut again.

Perrys shop has a very old school vintage feel to it. Not only is Perry a great barber and will give you the exact style you want, but hes a really cool guy to talk to. Great experience! I took my toddler son here for his first professional haircut. The barber who did his hair (sorry I didnt catch your name) had a great temperament with him. I was lucky enough to keep my son still watching Netflix while the barber did his thing. He took his time and was extra careful. I would definitely recommend to others.

Like a doctor entering open-heart surgery on a fully conscious patient, Perry sliced and diced until the only thing left to say was, Go get em tiger and a big-game butt slap of confidence. I called to ask about a cut and color and the man that answered began the conversation with What do you want, im very busy. I proceeded to ask if they provide a cut and color and he responded that they only do cuts then hung up on me. I would not recommend anyone to this and would strongly suggest the man learn telephone etiquette. even if they did provide the service I wanted I wouldnt go here after this brief and very rude conversation.

Venturing out into the world now that pandemic restrictions are lifted? You know you need a haircut or you will be a social pariah. You need Perry! Before traditional barbershops became a thing, Perrys was here. Now that barbershops are everywhere, Perrys is the best. I admit I have no objective opinion because he has been my only barber for 29 years, but he is one of the best reviewed shops in town. Dont expect to just walk in anytime, but appointments are easy to get. Update: Perry now has Square and Venmo - saves a trip to the ATM up the street.

I have been going to see Perry for 3+ years now. QUALITY way above many other barber shops I tried in SLC. Perry knows what he is doing and will keep you entertained the whole time, a true standup guy: unlike some of the stiffs in the other places I visited before I found out about his shop (friend recommendation). I strongly suggest you call for an appointment, he is busy for the right reasons. He reminds me of that commercial on TV: Come to Perrys, we will fix what the other overpriced shops screwed up. I was a walk in today, Friday April 25th 2014. They sat me down, had me laughing, and got to work.Ive got CURLY pain in the butt hair. No one has ever done a good job cutting it. But they had me feeling like a million bucks. Love the cut, love the company, and love the atmosphere.The setting is very comfortable too. Old school barbers and an old school place.Oh yeah, the neck shave is fantastic...OHHHH and they also sold some amazing hair product for their cost. I love this place, and Ill be going there from now on!!!!!

I just got my hair cut. I walked in with a mullet (unintentional) and walked out with a james dean. Although Im not nearly as badass, it looks great. The $16 price is a steal considering Perry spent ~45minutes on my rats nest. The guys at this barber shop know what theyre doing, youll be glad you came in.

Ive been getting my haircut here for the past 4 years only because I wont trust anyone else with my hair. Jerry and Perry are an absolute blast and they stand behind their service. Ive only had to do this twice, but anything you dont like about your haircut within a week, theyll fix for free. Ive only had to do it once or twice.As long as Jerry and Perry keep cutting hair, Ill keep on returning.
