Horrible Experience. I waited 2 weeks to have my BRAND NEW washing machine serviced today because it quit filling with water after just a few loads. In the meantime, I had to plug in my old washing machine to do laundry. I was expecting a 30 minute lead time for my technician (as I was told I would have) but received only a few minutes. I was unable to move the old washer out of the way in time as I am 7 months pregnant and home alone. When the technician got here, I asked him if he could help me and he said he didnt need to move it because he could do everything he needed to without moving it- ok fine. I figured this meant he could scoot it closer and plug in the hoses, drain, and electrical plug and my husband could worry about moving the old machine out of the way later. After some time, he announced that the machine was fixed- without ever hooking up the water. I asked him (politely) if we could please hook up the water to make sure it worked because I couldnt wait another 2 weeks to have a working machine and that was the machines issue in the first place. He said (rudely) that I should have paid attention to the directions on the phone call I received the day before and that he would not be hooking it up or making sure it worked before he left. I asked him if I could give him a call if I got it all hooked up and it still wasnt working and his response was: you can, but I am not coming back. He then promptly left. I called my husband who asked for his phone number. My husband called and asked him to please come back and help me hook up the machine because I am too pregnant to do it myself. The technician said No and hung up on him. Why on earth this technician whos name is Doug doesnt think its his job as a REPAIR MAN to make sure the machine is in fact repaired, is beyond me. If he had told me up front that he had no intention of making sure it would work before he left I could have made different decisions. The phone number for this business doesnt work- you cant even leave a message. And the dispatch office that sent him (through Home Depot) has no record of him scheduled to be here. This business and its employees are shady.
