They booked an appointment than decided on not showing up for the appointment no call no show. Than when I called them they decided to reschedule me for 2 days from the next day. If you ever do service with them good luck. They probably wont show. I also have never heard a company use Covid as an excuse so much. They basically have horrible service and management at this place and all should be held accountable for their actions. Please Beware. Avoid at any and all costs.
Had used another contractor without great results. Technician was great. Quick, knowledgeable and honest. Totally debunked what the other contractor had said regarding ordering a $600 part for our refrigerator. He merely change the settings . . . . and . . . . everything was fine!

Had a great experience with At Home Services. They helped us by re-building a very large wood wheelchair ramp, keeping a small budget in mind. It turned out beautiful. Kelly and his helpers were very nice, and hardworking. They did this job during Covid-19 restrictions and were very respectful to the fact that we have a medically fragile person in our home, and wore masks when they needed to speak with us. Thanks!!
Three times they came out to fix the problem could not figure it out. Finally ordered a part. Then did not show up or call when schedule to install twice. After the second no show they gave me some story about how they opened the part and it was broken and they were too busy too call me and tell me so they just no showed again. In the meanwhile the problem of a leaky dishwasher got bigger and ruined my hardwood kitchen floor. The hassle and headache of this company is crazy. Do not use even if your home warranty company schedules request a new company. They will waste your time and never fix the problem.
Worst experience with a company ever. I don’t review things normally but that just speaks to how bad this experience was. My apartments ac is not working and we put in a work order about 2 weeks ago. We were told they would come that next Friday (we received a text confirmation), to which they no showed without notice. Then we were told Monday. They didn’t show up and didn’t give us notice. We call and they say they “don’t have a work order” but they’ll come later on that day. Again, no show with no notice. We were then told they’d come today to which they, of course, didn’t show and didn’t let us know. And if that wasn’t enough, once the window they gave us was over and we called - their office was closed. They also ignored our phone calls earlier today when we tried to double check to REALLY make sure they were coming today. Yelp says a lot of similar and different stories with this company, google should reflect that too. We’ve been living in a 100 degree apartment for nearly two weeks because this company won’t do what they have said they would do.
Absolutely the worst service company ever.. been waiting since last August to replace a part in my refrigerator. I paid the first time and they replaced a part. They never bothered to stick around to see if the part actually worked which of course it didnt so long story short and no less than 25 calls and many promised appointments with the new part... Its still not fixed. I spoke to them so many times i cant even count. I always got a promise that the part was in and they would be out to fix it on a certain day.. they would never show up. I was patient at first as they told me parts were taking a long time to get because of covid but its literally been 7 months and its still not fixed. Whats even more shocking is I have spoken to an alleged supervisor several times and he would always promise to call me right back with more information... I never would receive a call back. I finally just broke down and hired another company. I hope someone who cares what horrible customer service I have received reads this and does the right thing and refunds my payment!!

At Home Services was dispatched to repair our washer by our warranty company. They were responsive and able to come out quickly, which is why I gave them 2 stars. The mechanic showed up on time but didnt seem to have the utmost confidence in what he was doing. He was on the phone with someone else walking through the issues to try to figure out the problem. After 20 minutes he said it was the timer and would submit the report to the warranty company.That was nine days ago. I have called my warranty company four times to follow up and every time they say they call At Home Services and they promise they will have the diagnosis at the end of the day. In the meantime we have purchased a new washer and I am also canceling my contract with my home warranty company as well, who somehow keeps tolerating this. I wish I had read these reviews prior to allowing them to be our provider. Im now out a $75 service fee which I plan to dispute with my bank.
Not sure how this company stays in business. I was sent to them by my home warranty company in regards to an electrical issue. They came to do the initial diagnostic which was expressed to me to be a faulty 3-way light switch. I paid the $45 service fee and was told they would be getting back with me once the claim was approved to schedule the repair. Soon after, I received word that the claim was approved but after multiple weeks nothing from At Home. I called and was told they were waiting on a part. I waited another week with no contact and called again. Still waiting on a part. Really? a three-way switch? Another two weeks go by and still nothing. I called the insurance company to ask for a different electrician and was told that because they had already paid At Home $192 I was locked into them. I dont know why the insurance company paid them anything. They never came back after the initial diagnostic visit. They called At Home and told me At Home would be contacting me. I waited a couple of days and nothing. This happened multiple times. I finally got At Home to schedule someone to come. I took time off of work to be home and they couldnt make the appointment. I scheduled another appointment and again took time off work to be home and again, they were a no show. I will be moving on to hire my own electrician. Dont think that this company will be able to help you or that they will be at all reliable. By the way, I finally replaced the switch myself and it did NOT solve the problem.
Horrible. Caused extra damage, Incapable of making a simple repair. Want me to file a new claim on a job never completed. Damaged structural beams, left personal belongings at my home and a mess in multiple areas. Broke a sink when their work was on a shower......5 visits to home with severe water damage ruining floors and ceiling...been 5 months and still wont come back to finish job, or even answer phones.DO NOT USE OR TRUST THIS COMPANY
I highly advise not using this company. I opened a service repair request with American Home Shield and was assigned to this company. The initial visit had to be postponed to another day because the technician was late. When he came the next time, he diagnosed the wrong thing and his supervisor had to come back a week or two later. When he arrived, he diagnosed the issue and said he would order the part. I’ve called countless times between then and now to receive absurd excuses, no ownership or accountability, and never once received a call back. I’m in a tight position because I am selling my home and the dishwasher repair was part of the deal. I had to hire another company to come and finish the simple job.
The technicians who serviced my washing machine were professional and quick. They gave a thorough explanation of what was wrong, gave a fair quote to repair and waited for me to talk with my husband to decide. They returned the next day and quickly repaired the washer, tested it, asked if I had questions, and showed me the broken part before Ilthey left. Polite and professional in my home.

Was assigned this company by American Home Shield to fix my refrigerator. They diagnosed the problem on 11/8/2020 then said it would be a couple weeks to get The part. The next day I got an email fro AHS stating the service was completed. I called AHS and told them nothing had been done. They called At Home Services and were told that the parts would be in in two weeks as they would call me. At Home Services never called me. I had to call multiple times to get an answer. They Said the parts were on back order and it would be two more weeks. It has been 7 weeks since I made the request and now I am told that the last part will not be in for another two weeks. If the part comes in and gets the refrigerator is fixed in the day they are telling me it will have been two months since I made the request. My family has had to make it through the holidays with a broken refrigerator. Neither At Home Service or American Home Shield have completed their contracts. Both companies are horrible. If you get assigned this company DO NOT accept it! Find a better company that will actually do the work.
Technician left a huge puddle of water in my bathroom as well as a bunch of sediment in the bathtub, didnt have his own hose for a water heater flush job, so he had to borrow mine. Really bad experience would not recommend and will not be using them again.
I have had a great experience with Chris, Antonio and their office team. Our A/C basically had a leak and for a couple of years the leak was just not evident so refrigerant refills were the past cure. This year Chris was the person who came out that was sent by American Home Shield warranties. Immediately Chris saw that the issue was a leak which was more visible. He refilled the refrigerant as we were used to, but he also placed an order in with the warranty company to replace our outside unit. Within a weeks period we were notified that a replacement was on its way and the team would be installing it. Today Chris and Antonio replaced our unit, it took them all but a couple of hours. Our house is now cooling up again and we feel better knowing that this is a new unit.Thank you At Home Services and American Home Shield.
This is the worst company I have probably ever dealt with. The only way they continue to get business must be because home warranties don’t know anything about them. If your home warranty assigns them to you, I’d urge you to demand another contractor. I had multiple appointments for repairs that I took work off for, then no one showed up. No calls to let me know or anything. I dealt with that on multiple occasions and didn’t think that alone warranted a review. But on my last scheduled appointment they took a $1000 deposit from me. Again, they didn’t show up. This time it was likely the home warranties fault, but I still got no phone call to let me know that they weren’t coming. They didn’t end up doing my service, but I had already paid them a deposit. The Manager/owner Chris refused to refund my money. The home warranty threatened them and he still wouldn’t refund. I tried to get ahold of him multiple times and he was ALWAYS conveniently “out of the office”. Finally I got him to respond via text because he refused to talk on the phone. The things he said in texts were revolting coming from a business owner. Anyway, 8 weeks later he finally told the warranty company the he would refund my money minus a $180 restocking fee. What in the world are you restocking on a service deposit, especially when you didn’t show up!!! In the end it took another month and multiple lies on their part to finally get a refund check issued. AND it was only issued for $820. I ended up paying them for the honor of fighting with them. At this point I will write off the lost money and NEVER deal with them again. I’d advise anyone reading this to do the same. Read all of their reviews... I am not the only person who has had these kinds of experiences with them.

I reported my A/C unit now working on 5/1 which was covered through a home warranty program. @Home Svcs was contracted. Its 7/2 and the unit is still not fixed. They have missed multiple appointments (which I took off of work to be home for); they have rescheduled other appointments at the last minute. I have a log of all the correspondence Ive had with them, their tech and its eaten up a massive amount of my time. The final straw was last Friday a tech was supposed to show up (which I took off work so I could be home to let him in). He never showed up. I called the office but no answer. I called again on Monday and was told they would find out what was happening but never called back. I called on Tuesday and was told they would discuss with the owner. As of Thursday morning, still no call back and no working A/C. Unbelievably poor service from the failure to communicate clearly and promptly, to failure to resolve the issue and maintain appointments.

I put in a request through my home warranty company and I was contacted by at home services within 24 hours. I got an appointment the next day. Their technician Darren worked on my fireplace blower. It wasnt getting any power. He tested it and within 20 minutes he had it all fixed. At home has also worked on my garage door. Great service. Really quick response. Highly recommend them for any home repair.
TERRIBLE experience. This company was dispatched to my home by American Home Shield for a simple lighting/electrical problem. The service person was incompetent. He thought the lights were LED (they were not), he thought the bulb was overpowered for the fixture (it was 65, fixture was rated for 75) and when he started to pull down an originally installed can from the bottom rather than the attic, I stopped the work because I knew he was about to damage the drywall in the ceiling. I find it hard to believe that this individual was a licensed electrician. I will not be using this company ever again.
I used At Home services through my home warranty company and was thoroughly impressed with their help. I had originally requested an electrician, but once he was in my phone, he ended up also helping with a few additional odds and ends that were a huge help. He explained everything he was doing, and truly went above and beyond to help me in any way he could. Can’t recommend them enough and will absolutely be using them in the future.

Ive seen some of the negative reviews, but my experience was 5 stars. They were quick to respond to the request for warranty request. And they were on time and got the job done quickly even though they had to leave and get a part at Home Depot. They did a good job and got my water heater up and running like it is supposed to.

Repaired a garage spring for me. Took them a while to get it fixed but eventually got it fixed working better then it was before door broke in first place. My only recommendation would be letting people know if u are going to be late and not letting me know when I call asking. Overall great job though
Weve had At Home Services come out to our residence several times in the last year. The company employees individuals with questionable backgrounds.This week weve had a drain problem at our home and they sent out an older man in a white Toyota with a Yellow shell on the bed. The man gets out and he cant sit still, his hands were moving so much he looked like he was performing for TikTok and he was speaking like the old Micro-Machine guy from the Micro-Machine commercials, super fast. I wanted to give the guy the benefit of the doubt that maybe he could have been nervous and not using drugs, except today (2/21/20) he shows up and gets out and cannot walk. He had white powder coating the inside of his left nostril and he kept trying to formulate sentences but would deviate off onto a tangent about something completely unrelated.Lets talk about his service. He came out on Tuesday and took pictures and said how he would attack the clogged drain the NEXT time he comes out. He then wanted me to pay the $45 deposit after he took only pictures. We paid the office staff because I didnt feel I could trust this man. Then he shows up today (2/21/20) and makes several excuses about why he cant do the job the way he said he was going to do it on Wednesday (2/19/20). He ended up snaking the drain with a snake that wasnt long enough for the pipe. He left and came back with a hose fitting to clear the pipe. He didnt end up performing that part of the work, my landlord and I did that for him.It took 5 days to reach a resolution that we ended up performing ourselves. This company is not worth it.
Dale gave 5 star service, unfortunately the scheduling at the office is what brought the rating down. For the initial consultation I was told 4-6 and the technician arrived at 2. For the actual repair I was told 8-11 and they arrived at 1215. Apart from the scheduling everything else was great, both technicians were professional and provided great service.
My stove and wiring to a light fixture quit working. I called At Home Services and Dale came out and fixed them. He was very professional and helpful, with excellent customer service. I will call them again when needed and would highly recommend there services.Many thanks Dale.

Found At Home Services through the home warranty company I was using. I fired the Home Warranty Company but kept working with At Home Services. Dale, my technician, was thorough, timely and very professional. I will use them again if the need arises. Word of caution: stay away from Select Home Warranty, they are NOT responsive and are very difficult to work with.UPDATE: I had to replace the dishwasher. After three visits from At Home Services it had an awful burning smell. I called a different company and they came and unplugged the dishwasher. Ended up buying a new one.
These guys are on top of their game! Their communication is 2nd to none. They installed a dishwasher and did a beautiful job. They also disposed of the old one. The technician was clean, polite an prompt.A+++
Currently, two star rating. We have used At Home Services through our home warranty company AHS on several occasions with some good, and some bad experiences. At times they havent done what they say they will do, or are delayed excessively in getting the work completed. I value honest companies (they do what they say they will do) and efficient companies (they do it in a timely manner), especially in service, and At Home Services struggles at times in these two categories. If they step up the service I believe they can be a good company but will need to make some adjustments to get it done, in my opinion.
My warranty company took forever to get a claim properly set up and sent out for our dishwasher, but when they did At Home Services sent a great technician to come look at the problem. Dale was on time and very friendly. He let me know the situation and was able to get the dishwasher up and working until we know if well get additional dishwasher motor replacement. We have had two very good experiences with At Home, which provided us with service requested through our home warranty. Dale fixed our oven and diagnosed our microwave (which was not easily repairable, so the home warranty is replacing it). His service was timely and very professional

Service ticket had 3 things to check out. They only checked 1. First tech dropped screws from ceiling fan, told us it had a short in it and NOT to use it. Second tech came out, re-tucked wiring stating it was fine and 1st tech didnt know what he was doing, said that first tech wasnt even an electrician ( hence not able to check out other areas ) and as he was leaving he hit the wall with a ladder. after 4 trips and 2 techs I have a wall very noticeably repaired with horribly streaky paint, both other areas never even checked and now they wont return the paint for me to fix it or return messages. Will let warranty company know what service they poorly provided.
Dale and Robert came by to help with our kitchen appliances. They went above and beyond what we asked for. We just needed help replacing the kick plate on our fridge but the also vacuumed out the filter, and realigned our doors to make sure we weren’t wasting energy. Thanks you two!

HAD SAMSUNG FRENCH DOOR TYPE REFRIGERATOR OFF WARRANTY SHUT DOWN AT 9 YEARS; CALLED ASHLEY WHO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT WITHIN 24 HRS; DALE ARRIVED( HE HAS A NUMBER OF VERY GOOD RECOMMENDATIONS) ON TIME AND FOUND THE ISSUE OF A LOOSE ADAPTOR WHICH HE REPAIRED BUT CAUTIONED THAT AN INVERTER MAY NEED REPLACEMENT BUT RECOMMENDED A 24 HOUR TEST; COOLING DID IMPROVE BUT WAS NOT NORMAL AND HE RETURNED AS PLANNED AND REPLACED THE INVERTER WHICH GOT US BACK TO NORMAL TEMPS. DALE IS TALENTED, FRIENDLY AND IM SURE IS AN EXCELLENT EMPLOYEE. COMPLETELY SATISFIED AT 24 HOURS. FAIR PRICE ON PARTS AND LABOR. ASHLEY FOLLOWED UP WITH CALL ON PERFORMANCE OF APPLIANCE.

Paid over $500 for a humidifier, they installed it in the Hot Water Pipe!! Water feed to humidifier melted and flooded my furnace room for hours! This took 4 days of time for them to do it wrong and wasted many hours saying they will be there at certain times. Voicemails are left unanswered I cant understand how these people are still in business. Avoid at all costs!
DO NOT USE!!These people make false promises, do not effectively communicate and the only thing they do in a timely manner is cash your check. AWFUL.
It took 2 months to get our toilet fixed. The first appointment was a no show and when we called to find out why they hadn’t even put it on the schedule after they had called me to set the appointment. The tech finally came out and was unable to fix it and said he would return. After not hearing back for a week we called and the office said it was fixed. After we told them it was not fixed at all and we still had a broken toilet, they scheduled an appointment for another week out. He was not able to fix it then and the exact same thing happened. We called after a week, they said it was fixed, we said it wasn’t, etc. It has taken 2 months and 4 visits (with us calling between every one) for the toilet to finally get fixed. There is a serious lack of communication between the office staff and the technician. We would have just given up on this company and hired someone else, but we had already paid the call out fee and I wanted them to finish what I paid for.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a contractor and Ive worked with many. They were dispatched by a home warranty company to restore power to a circuit that lost power. They send one person out to look at it who could not figure it out. They sent another guy out who also couldnt figure out the problem. Ultimately they decided to rob power form another circuit to power the garage and cut a ton of holes in the wall to do it. Well, 60 days later the power failed again. It turns out they tied the two circuits together and could have solved the problem the first time by just locating the wire that had slipped out of the wire nut rather than improperly feeding the circuit with another circuit. It took a good electrican 15 minutes to figure out what had happened and fix it the way it should have been fixed the first time. @ Home Services had even sent out their top technician and this is what we got. I wouldnt call this company again if I was on fire and they were the only ones with a bucket of water.

I have problems with my washer and dryer and this technician came by the house he was so professional even my dog liked him and my dog doesnt like anybody.. I would be happy 2 Recommend this company
The repair people are pretty good but their admin and communication sucks. They came to fix my AC and determined that a 20 amp circuit breaker was failing; It was tripping at about 10 amps and when it tripped it did not look tripped, AND you have to reset it 2 or even 3 times to get it reset. Which is why I didnt find it myself. The next day I got a message from them saying the home warranty people would not authorize the repair because it was just a tripped breaker, and they gave me the number and brand of the breaker and where I could buy it. I called the warranty people and they said they hadnt denied authorization, they hadnt even received any diagnostics. I called At Home and told them I knew the warranty people had not refusd authorization, they hadnt even gotten the info from At Home. 2 days later I called the warranty people again. They said theyd received the diagnostics and authorized the repair, and the At Home people should check their email. I called At Home, but you cannot talk to anyone but some message taker and passer, who said hed pass it to the technician. I asked that he have them call me, he said he would. After 3 days they never did. I called them again, on a Thursday. This time I was told theyd had to special order the breaker, it should be in that day or the next. They scheduled my repair for the next Monday. In the first place, it appears they didnt forward the needed info to the warranty company until I got directly involved. I can only assume some jerk in their office decided its just a circuit breaker, they wont authorize that, and did nothing. Then, after I told At Home that the repair had been authorized, and asked for the tech or someone to call me when they knew what was going on, nobody ever called. Finally, in case I ended up having to do it myself, I had checked with the local supplier theyd referred me to, so I knew they had 3 of them in stock. So the special order nonsense was just that, nonsense. It is an older breaker, which you MIGHT have to special order because they arent used much anymore and suppliers sometimes dont stock them, but in this case the chance that someone had sold all 3 of a rarely used breaker in 2 days is pretty small, so it was almost certainly available locally. So did someone in their office just make another assumption, and special order it? Or is that just an excuse for why they hadnt even contacted me yet, let alone come and done the repair? Third, except for the initial it wasnt authorized message, which was a lie, they never once contacted me to let me know what was going on, even when Id specifically asked them to. Finally, assuming that they do show up Monday, something that should have taken a total of maybe 3 days will have taken over 3 weeks. Im just lucky that the stretch of 100+ degree temperatures days that weve had has gone back to only 90+ degrees, at least so far. As I said, the repair people are pretty good, but I would not recommend using this company if you need something done quickly, or want to be kept advised of what is going on.
This is the second company our home warranty sent out because the first company utterly failed. After our home warranty contacted them, they got in touch with us the next business day. Their tech, Mike, came out and politely listened to what i had to say about what the other company had done, then he did some additional diagnosing. he politely listened to our concerns, because it was an older unit. fast forward to next week, in which he had kept in contact with us, and he had gotten approval to replace our unit. They made the appointment with us and actually arrived an hour earlier than stated.Awesome job Mike. we really appreciate your professionalism.
We have been thoroughly disappointed in At Home Services! Mainly in their scheduling, customer care, and honesty with us.We scheduled a mutual meeting time for our breaker box to be fixed last week, after waiting for two weeks for a part to come in. The appointed day arrived and no technician showed or called. Finally, a secretary called to inform us that they double booked us. In attempting to negotiate a return appointment, the secretary hoped for a couple days out, but she informed us later the next morning that it would not be for another week.At Home Services missed three more appointments in a row( wed, thurs, and Fri), a total of FOUR! How does a company miss an agreed day and time FOUR appointments in a row?! Their second appointment was suppose to be the owner of the company and they guaranteed and reassured us our needs would be met.I have never seen such gross negligence by a company in fulfilling their agreement!
Literally one of the worst companies we have ever had to work with. Our home warranty sent them out to fix our secondary sprinkler system. Ezra (a rude tech) and his partner ended up breaking the city valve for our water and couldnt turn it off, flooding two of my neighbors yard. I had to call the city out to shut it off (which took 2 seconds). The city instructed them to dig it up to see what was wrong. Apparently digging is really hard because on the two occasions they came to dig they never dug it deep enough saying nothing was broken and that was as far as they could dig insisting nothing was broken. And yet kept trying to charge us 300$ to get it fixed. They never responded to the cities calls and so the city ended up replacing it. The techs were argumentative and extremely rude. They did in fact break the valve, they didnt know anything about sprinklers which was obvious when they turned our house water off for secondary water. We ended up having to pay 75$ for them to improperly dig a hole, break the cities valve, dig up and rip out sprinkler boxes without putting them back. Install a single sprinkler backwards (that we provided) used our tools, argued relentlessly and left trash. Actually we had to pay 175$ or more because we ended up buying the parts and doing the work. We informed our warranty company of everything and will not ever have them back on our property. DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR ANYTHING.

Terrible, terrible company. Do not do business with them. I agree with the other posters; their customer service is terrible and they dont value your time. They show up whenever so be prepared to take a couple days off work to meet them.

Dale came out and installed a disposal and was prompt and professional and would refer anyone to use their service.
Tech was a no show. Didnt even have the courtesy of calling. When I called to find out what was going on, they were dismissive, unapologetic, and unempowered. The person on the phone that told me he couldnt get someone out for 2 more days at best.. To me this is unacceptable and horrible service.
Incompetent and dishonest. Other than that, a fine outfit.
Customer service is poor; was put on hold for nearly 20 minutes total in trying to reschedule an appointment. The technician said they would call back to reschedule an appointment but I ended up having to do so. We will see if the problem gets fixed.
Technicians do not call letting you know that they are going to be late they leave with out fixing the component they tried 3 times hope fully a fourth time they can repair . Wouldnt recommend.
