They cheated me on the utilities for 2 months. The bill said there were 3 occupants but we are only two. I told the office about this error and they said not to worry about it because they computed the bill on 2 it just said 3 and they would change it.The following month the same thing the bill said 3 occupants again and it was very high again.I complained again and demanded that they change it. This month the bill says 2 occupants and it was over $65.00 less, but they still cheated me for 2 months and lied about it.Another bad thing about this place is that when I moved in the weather was still cool, now that it is warm, it is hard to get a good nights sleep here. The air conditioning units right outside the bedroom window are so loud and they run all night and day, its awful. There are also extremely bright lights right outside the window, Ive put dark curtains on the window and it helps some. The rent here is very high for what you get, they shouldnt cheat me on top of that just because they know there isnt anything I can do about it and they know they can get away with it.Dont make the mistake of moving here if you like a quiet place to sleep and you want to trust the management.
I have been waiting a long time to be able to finally post this review. I lived here for 3 years and just recently moved out. When I first moved here, it was a lovely place. I really enjoyed it. However, over time everything changed. Murray Police is responding to calls almost every other week, there are multiple vehicle break-ins every month, the people living there have change to unwelcoming and rude neighbors. I have had other tenants and employees of Miller Estate writing on my car with permanent marker, sometimes while I was trying to load and unload heavy items into my car from my unit. I have had my car broken into while it was in my reserved covered parking. I had my roof-tent vandalized and damaged while in unreserved parking. When I reported this to the Police, they told me that they get numerous calls about the same thing from Miller Estates. I spent hundreds of dollars to fix everything on my car. Management said that there was nothing they could do and said that they had a security firm that would patrol our complex during the night and we could call them with suspicious activity. I have lived there 3 years and I have seen the security less than 5 times. When I reported that someone wrote on my car with marker and I strongly suspected that it was an employee because a tenant would not have really had a reason to, the management said they doubted it and never called me back. We constantly heard people shouting or literally screaming within the complex at night but nothing was ever done about it. The cherry on top of how unsafe this place is becoming, is that a dead body was pulled out of our pond last year but our complex never gave us any additional information or sent out a notice. When we first moved in, our unit was perfect for a young couple just starting out with very little things. But now with the rising prices in rent, a 1 bedroom 1 bath costs almost as much as the 2 bed 1 bath when we first moved in. My friends and family are well informed on how I feel about Miller Estates and they would not move here. The only improvement I have seen at all is in the management. Although I have had issues with the current management, they are significantly better than who was running things when I first moved in.
I recently moved to Miller Estates and within 2 weeks of my stay - my cars exhaust system got stolen while it was parked in the assigned parking spot. After this happened, I found out that there had been several theft incidents reported almost every week but still nothing has been done by the management. There is no gate or security cameras to monitor or restrict entry of outsiders. When I spoke to management, they said report it to police as they could do nothing about it and they cant do anything to prevent this in future. The apartment complex is really nice but because of security reasons I would not recommend anyone to live here
My husband is on the lease and I recently stayed at this apartment complex and noticed that the place and apartments are not well maintained at all.The bathroom is really small. The water is dirty in the kitchen and bathroom. It is literally white water (not clear). I started getting itchy scalp. We then started getting gallons of water for cooking. We personally went to the leasing office 3 times, but no luck resolving the issue. The management is just not caring enough to help “resolve” our concerns for good.Another example, the sink was clogged and no one came to fix it even after raising a work order. We have been paying the rent on time each month (even during pandemic), but the service is not upto the mark.
Avoid miller Estates Ive been here 4 years and it has gone down hill ever since I moved multiple car thefts, break ins, vandalism and even stealing my license place. The ground is a complete mess. When I repot a problem it takes multiple calls to get someone down to even take a look at the problem, even when they do find something the job takes forever for them to fix and the job is half fast they are back down to fix the same problem. The places is small for what you pay. The add on are rediuless expensive. Avoid miller Estates.
WOW.. so my friend moved into these apartments yesterday and the first thing that he noticed is the burn marks (most likely from cigarettes) and stains on the carpet not to mention the horrid smell. I feel like any decent apartment complex should at least put new carpet after the previous tenant is out. There are so many germs in a carpet throughout the months or even years of the previous person living in that apartment, God knows what has touched that carpet. I don’t think that’s so much to ask for especially after charging unnecessary fees. A new carpet makes sense. I feel bad for my friend that was excited about this new place just for him to be living in a place that smells like a porta potty. There is no respect or consideration of this person and their new home.
UPDATING!I have been here a few weeks and I know the apartment has no control over this but two of the water pipes broke yesterday around 8 p.m. my water still isn’t working 24 hours later. I have a job and need to shower haven’t been able to cook or anything because of water. Also it’s my day off and I couldn’t do laundry.I get it it needs to get fixed but they had two you g kids fixing the issue and every time I left or looked out there they were sitting and smoking or sitting in the can.I was told it would be turned on this evening and it’s still not on.I was concerned because I have a friend that lives here and says this stuff happens all the time. Well it’s happening now and it’s really frustrating.Just moved in and so far so good.I always get nervous to move into apartments due to them being noisy and you can’t hear much here thankfully.I had a leak in my bath tub and called today and they came over quick and fixed it. The maintenance guys were really great!m and very friendly!I would recommend this place! Also the office staff is very friendly. Veronica always is so helpful.Thank you all for making this a great experience so far!
Update June 1st 2021 still no working fountain now officially 4 year fight! Unfortunately when temperatures reach above 80 the lake stink gets way bad with out fountains working! (update 11-12-2020 talked with management and new maintenance guy Meldin was very impressed with him and feel that things will now change! so for now i bumped up to 3 stars!) I have been here near 17 years now and always loved this place !This is my Home!! but Miller Estates needs to step it up and make this place Safer! we just had a Tragic Death here on the Lake and so much of the property is dark because so many lights are dead! its so easy to stumble into the lake because of lack of fences or lights! the building 4904 as you pull in the front entrance is dark no porch lights at all. And all the light post on the street are dead! we need security here that does more than drive fast around the lake in there car with spotlight on! maybe foot patrol and fences around the area down by the mailboxes where homeless like to sleep! Now that someone has died here its way past due that the security and safety of its tenants and guest here become priority!
Veronica and Ryan and awesome! They are very helpful and so nice every time I go into the office. I would highly recommend living here, its a very beautiful place during the summer lots of shade from all of the pretty trees. The clubhouse is beautiful too!
Always someone new in the office. Went in yesterday and its a girl Ive never seen before AGAIN. Couldnt tell me anything about the extreme water issue there s no way us not having water for days is okay. Girl didnt care at all. Ive missed work and havent been able to cook to feed my kid. Management please get your s*** together
My roommate just told me that our community is starting a community watch WHICH I LOVE! Crime is everywhere these days and we need to band together. The new head maint guy has been amazing to work with and has really changed my mind about this place. There seems to be new faces in the office and so far so good. They have been okay to deal with and are much nicer than the old manager there a few months ago. Please resident keep your cars locked an report any suspicious activity to the office and the Murray PD.
Meldin kokic is a great Maintanince manager who get the job done quickly and perfectly thank you
Honestly not it’s not that great living here, Management is extremely unorganized. As well as the manager of the site being extremely defensive and unprofessional rolling her eyes and just being verbally aggressive. Maintenance takes forever as well the elevator has been down for months, and the lights on some of the building don’t turn on at night . Not to mention a body was found in the pond last year . There is always cars being broken into .
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! When we made an appointment to come view these apartments a resident told us not to move here unless its our only option. We looked at an apartment and liked how it looked and the space, so we ignored what the resident said. We moved in and the apartment was so dirty, the light in the dining room was hanging down, the fridge didnt work, the stove and oven doesnt work, the shower head hangs down (if youre taller than 53 dont expect to be able to shower unless you get on your knees and you cant bathe because the drain is broken), and our sliding glass door doesnt even lock. Maintenance found heroin outside our building and said homeless people like to hang out in the parking lot so dont park anything nice over there. The office doesnt care about their residents after they get you to move in. We have been here for a week now and maintenance is just barely coming over to fix our appliances. We threw out over $200 worth of food because they wouldnt even come fix our fridge and the general manager didnt even care that we had to do that. The maintenance isnt the issue here, the management team is the issue. I repeat DONT MOVE HERE!!!UPDATE: After a week and a half of having issue after issue Meldin showed up and has fixed almost everything for us and is just waiting for appliances to show up for the rest. He is absolutely amazing and good at what he does! The manager Heather, still deters me from recommending this complex to anyone else and raising my rating.
Now that we are moving out finally, I wanted to put my review, DO NOT MOVE here! Management has terrible communication with their tenants, there have been numerous times I have had multiple issues with trying to have maintenance come to my apartment to fix my issues, they never come to fix your problems they make excuses on why they dont show up and I have had nothing but misinformation from everyone at the leasing office we have been so frustrated on how many times we have had to keep scheduling just to have our washer fixed and it took them 2 months to finally fix it because every time we scheduled a repair the maintenance men always missed our appointments, Living here has been a prison sentence one that we signed for a year and now that the year is up we will not be back ! I wish I would have read the reviews before moving here because I believe them all! They also found a dead body in the pond and have not done ANYTHING in regards to our Safety! The management at Miller Estates is a joke there is no proper communication between staff and management, at the beginning of the Pandemic my Fiance like millions of other people was laid off and we had communicated with the office to see if we can split April’s rent while we figure out our finances because unemployment isnt fast at giving money so we were worried about how we would pay rent. (Just as many others have faced the same during this time).I wish we would have wrote down the name of the staff we had talked to but we didn’t because we put our trust in Miller Estates to do the right thing. We called to see if we could pay half the rent at the beginning and the second half to pay in the middle of April and the woman stated we would need to come to the office to sign some papers about the payment arrangement but that we would need to wait once it got closer to April’s rent as we were calling about this ahead of time in March because we wanted communication with the office to let them know about our situation. Once it came to about four days before Aprils rent was due, we went into the office to sign the papers just like the staff member said on the phone, when we went to ask about splitting the payment the girl stated We dont do payment arrangements, you have to pay rent or you will get a late fee. Yes we were mad and they dropped the ball big time because it was time to pay rent and we didnt have it because we put our trust into miller estates and we got the raw end of the deal. Instead of them apologizing and taking ownership of the misinformation we received they told us we had to pay rent on time or get a late fee and yes I understand and agree that is what is written in our lease however we are in a pandemic and this was out of out control, we always pay our rent at least ONE week in ADVANCE! always on time!
I had deleted my previous review. And just left the rating. I see Miller Estates has responded and asked for me to come in. I wont be. I can see that things havent changed since I moved out in 2017. I was hoping things had changed since I was looking for a place to rent but as you all can see its still the same. Maintenance entering without permission, things falling apart and constant change of employees in the office.
Not only is this the worst leasing experience I’ve ever had, but it also takes the cake for the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, bar-none. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, and horribly rude staff with incredibly low standards and no respect for your privacy or living space.Four weeks ago, my wife and I began a search for a new apartment. We found Miller Estates and viewed their model unit. It was beautifully updated with new appliances and countertops. We were told that all apartments on the property are updated in the same manner.During the approval process, we were in correspondence with leasing agent Ryen Edwards, who gave us updates on the apartment - that it was beautifully renovated. We didnt have any reason to believe it would look different than the model we looked at originally. Also, during this time, It became apparent that management was fairly unreliable and unavailable as far as correspondence. A couple of times, we had to reach out to them and double tap emails because we had been left in the dark a little bit. After the approval was finalized, we went to sign the lease. We took a quick tour of the apartment. It was slightly different with a few cosmetic changes, but given the hastiness of the walkthrough, the unit looked fine. We went to the leasing office and signed the lease. I asked Ryen for a copy of the lease to be sent to me, then we went back to the unit to fill out a discrepancy sheet.Upon closer inspection, the unit was not only cosmetically different, but the cabinetry wasnt renovated and entirely different from the model, just painted a different color to resemble the ones in the model. Many of the drawers didnt work or seat correctly, the bathrooms cabinets were horribly chipped on the underside trims, and the fireplace didnt work. Some baseboards were missing and the closet in the second bedroom had a door that didnt fit in it tracks. There were sharpie markings from the child of the previous tenant all over the inside of the closet doors in the second bedroom. There was mold and dirt inside the vents and in some corners of ceilings in the master bedroom, among many other things. We reached out to Ryen to see if theres any way for us to change to a different unit given that the one we were leased had issues that we felt didnt justify the transaction when compared to the model we saw when first viewing the property, or any standard of living space, for the matter.24 hours later, we finally received a reply from Ryen that said there was nothing that could be done, no other units were available, and the lease was final. We responded, asking for options to proceed with terminating the lease. We met Alicia, the property manager, the following evening, who walked through the apartments with us. She validated our concerns initially, but then said that it was still functional and the same color. She acknowledged that the cabinetry and appliances were different than the model shown, but reassured us that we could put in a work order to have the appliances painted but not refinished.I went back to main office and reminded Ryen to provide me a copy of the lease, which he promised he would send me two days earlier. He started scribbling on some documents, then printed me off a copy of the lease. I realized that the documents he just now signed were the lease agreement, which he confirmed with me. He called in Alicia, the manager, who I expressed my frustration with about putting us through all of the frustration of trying to terminate the lease, when they hadn’t signed it yet. Eventually, Alicia threatened legal action against me “if I wanted to get ugly”.My wife and I had to basically clean this place from the bottom up, to include a mess that one of the maintenance crews made when they entered with prior notification while we were out of town. I showed Ryen the spill that was made all over the bathroom floor by their crew and his reply was “huh, I don’t really know what that is, but you should be fine to clean it up yourself”.Don’t move here.
Awful place to live and awful management to work with.
We rented an apartment here and they worked fast to get us into it. But once we were in, it’s been a complete nightmare. The apartment was dirty and the carpet was stained. We had to clean the apartment before we could move stuff into it. The shower head is coming out of the wall, fireplace has a strong gas smell, stove and oven didn’t work, sliding door lock was broken (which I had to fix), fridge doesn’t work and all of our food went bad and had to throw it all out. I reported it on a Friday and they said all their maintenance was booked that day and don’t work weekends resulting in over $200 worth of food going bad. I called Monday morning and they said someone would be out in the next 30 minutes to an hour. 2 hours later nobody has shown up and I had to call again. They said they would text someone and send them right over. 1 1/2 hours later, still no maintenance. Maintenance has already told me how bad this place is and how bad the office is about getting stuff fixed. I’m fed up with it and I’m about to get stuff fixed myself and I will deduct it from my rent, including the total for the food we had to throw away. Be wary of coming here. UPDATE!!!!! Meldin the new maintenance supervisor is amazing. He gets stuff done, doesn’t complain, asks if we need anything else and goes above and beyond maintenance stuff to hell the residents when there are problems. If I could give a 2nd review for just him I would and I would give him 5 stars. This complex staff needs to be like him and model themselves after him. He is great, friendly and gets stuff done. We are very happy with him and Tom
Ive lived on this property for 4 years now. Ryen and Kiera are so sweet, they go out of their way to help as much as they can. I have zero complains. Work orders are always done in a reasonable time, the location is amazing! super close to the mall and lots of restaurants!
The new maintenance guys that they have are not doing a very good job on keeping the grounds picked up. The bags for the animal waste has not been refilled, the cans that hold the waste are overflowing. The trash by the big trash can make the apartments look horrible. The old maintenance guy Admir was always out and about checking on people, seeing if they needed anything and was kind and friendly. He also made they grounds look great. Things got done sooner rather then later. We need him back!
Monday I toured a bunch of apartments and this was the last one on my list I didn’t expect to sign for an apartment that day let alone be moved in by Thursday! But Ruben at miller estates is just that good and talented at his job. He upgraded my apartment, made sure I had a better shower head than originally came with the apartment and got me moved in by Thursday! Since then I have had a few things that maintenance needed to look at, and they all got taken care of either that day or the next day. They are professional and fast with repairs. Overall the apartments are nice and renovated with absolutely gorgeous grounds surrounding them. If you need a place this is my top recommendation, and you must talk to Ruben he is AMAZING. Give that man a raise...UPDATE : I have been a resident for 4 months now and it has not been smooth sailing. At least once or twice a month something broken that needs to be fixed, and not little things. (most recently the entire lighting fixture in the bathroom randomly fell off the wall and clearly hadnt been properly installed. It wasnt even screwed into the wall) And on top of constant maintenance issues, they fired Ruben from my previous review (bad mistake) and whoever replaced him doesnt know how to accept rent and wrongly sent me a 3 day eviction notice and laughed it off when confronted with the issue.
When I have a maintenance problem they come out good timing. The dog park is very well maintained by the owners, barbeque areas and basketball court area always looks clean. Trees and landscaping well maintained. Snow removal is great.People put in furniture and junk around the garbage cans and it get cleaned out by maintenance very quickly. Always amazed how fast never had to report it.Called about outside lights and sure Maintenance will fix promptly. They always do.Problem with daily (at least morning and evening) piles of cat food being placed directly under cars at parking by pond and parking stalls across. So glad to know the Office is aware of this already. All areas are important to them.Thank you so much for everything! Staff has always been easy to talk too. Nothing but positive stuff for them.
Stay a way from miller estates, they are always under new management. People are moving out of here so quick. The new management is rude the new maintenance crew is lazy and never get this done.
The office staff are all new and just needs more training on giving the accurate information rather than saying one thing and turning around and saying another different thing. Always ask them back if thats accurate and no changes so, you wont go through the hassle that I dealt with. Other than that, the community is a great place and spacious.

ROACHES EVERYWHERE in my apt! i hate this place old maintenance guy told me that a lot of buildings have roaches. The second i can move i will
Love this apartment! The best maintenance staff I have ever had in an apartment. When you have an issue they fix it within hours. They even replace light bulbs! Pay by check or online so easy.
Miller Estates is an awesome community to live at! I have lived from apartment to apartment for 5 years in a row now! This is the first place that I actually renewed my contract with them. The office staff is wonderful and will listen to you if you need help with anything. Jared is the best manager I have ever worked with. The grounds are beautiful and my dog has made many friends. What a great place to live! I have the greatest neighbors. I have only had to have maintenance come out to my apartment once, they were friendly and the issue was taken care of quickly. I have never lived in a complex that has had a pool party and movie night for the renters. What a great way to meet your neighbors and make new friends. I would recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for a place to live. They even let me use the clubhouse for a birthday party and didnt even make me pay to use it!
One of the newer maintenance guys, I believe his name is Meldo, was just an absolute pleasure to work with! He not only promptly resolved my issue, but he took the time to explain everything to me. Im a chatterbox at times but he was happy to talk to me and really showed me that he cared! Im grateful knowing that if something ever needs to be fixed I have someone reliable I can count on.
I toured Miller Estates yesterday with Amber and she was FANTASTIC. The entire office staff was very friendly and the grounds were impeccable. Beautiful large trees everywhere and I loved the fountains in their lake. What a peaceful environment. The 2 bedroom apartments were huge and look very well taken care of. Cant wait to make this my home!
Admire was amazing . He showed up late cause I live on the third floor to fix my a/c
Admiral did great job on air conditioning unit and came out at midnight. Thank you.
I absolutely love the layout of these apartments and the community is amazing, they are definitely a lot cheaper than most apartments for the size you get, but by the time you are done paying random extra fees they like to charge every month you might as well go else where. The part that ruins it all is the way this apartment is managed. There is no organization or professionalism or customer service in the management office. You can never rely on what they say your rent is to be true, they will guaranteed come back and tell you there is an amount you never paid along with a late fee & 3 day notice. As well they don’t have the capability of keeping track of any documents without losing them. I’ve had a service animal for the past 6 months I’ve lived here and randomly they decided to email me SIX months later saying I owed a few hundred $ that we never paid for a supposed “security deposit” (which we paid our security deposit in full months ago) after sending them our documentations proving this, come to find out they actually lost my documentations for the service animal and were trying to charge us for pet rent and calling it a deposit? Seems a little Misleading.Fortunately we did not have to pay this, but again had to take time out of my day to fix their mistake.. with very unnecessary stress.I’m hoping within these last 6 months of our lease we can end on a better foot. But so far all I can say is their management is very unprofessional.
Probably the worst appartment I have ever lived in! First of all it is way too expensive for what you are getting. The only reason I moved in here is I love how beautiful their outside landscape is, the first time I came to look at the place it felt like camping. Lots of beautiful trees and flowers. (THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO JUSTIFY THIS ONE STAR RATING, IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, ID RATE 0/5) If you want to be screwed over by someone, this is the place for you! And sure, when you first consider to live here and visit, the staff will be so kind and practically kissing your you know what. But I assure you the stress of moving out of this place is not worth it! The new manager here is awful, dont expect any understanding or positive customer service out of her. She is incompetent and rude! If you for any odd reason decide to reside at the Miller estates, please make sure to read the contract VERY CAREFULLY! Do not let them quickly skim over it with you!To be continued.....
I moved in at the beginning of July 2019. Not only did they have multiple units to choose from but I was able to move in within 3 days. It was a very smooth process and everyone was super helpful. I’ve had a couple minor maintenance issues that were after-hours. I’ve never had to leave a message, someone picks up the phone every time and they are fixing the issue within 20-30 minutes. I’ve been very impressed with everyone that works here and I feel great about my choice moving into Miller Estates. Thanks guys!!
I really like living here, my husband and I have been here for a little over 6 months and we love it. We pay around 1,100/ month after utilities for our one bedroom. We never hear our neighbors we have a cool view from our balcony and its overall pretty quite. There has been an issue with my car getting broken into and the management says its a problem in the area, which I do get. I grew up down the road and our cars got broken into a ton. Just dont leave anything you care about in your vehicle, learn your lesson. Its well priced for how nice our apartment is. Weve only had one maintenance issue and it was resolved within a half hour of going into the office. They allow us to have our weird pets which I really like. The gym is nice and has a good view from the treadmill. I do agree that the renovations really do seem cheap and the paint job is absolutely horrid. Get better painters and security and it would be the best place ever.
Been an ok place to live just make sure u sacure your vehicle my brothers has been broken into twice and was just stolen out of our parking lot. Couple of my neighbors have had issues with people messing with their motorcycles. Dont know how ofter security is going through the lot but think they need to bump it up.... Follow up talked to a few more tenants definitely issues with cars being broke into even found out at least one of the office staff has had their car broken into.. Maybe they should think of having a little more sercuity or putting in some cameras
I have lived in these apartments for 3 years now. I’ve seen a lot of people come and go around me but I think I am fortunate to end up in a nice building and in a quiet part of the complex. The people around me are older so they are quiet. Even the owners of animals are pretty quiet. The most about my building I can complain about is people don’t clean up after their animals, people are constantly smoking outside, the apartments are old and outdated, the carpet is difficult to clean, and the police like to camp their vehicles outside my window. However, I cannot say this about the entire complex. My mother also rents in the same complex in a different apartment and has had a completely different experience. She is in the lower level apartments right on the lake. She has had loud neighbors, people who tried to break into her apartment either through the window or through the door. One time someone actually tried to climb in through the lake. She has found hyper dermic needles right outside her apartment, there was a homeless druggie camped outside her door. I came by to visit and was startled to find a stranger asleep there. There is duck and goose poop everywhere and management does nothing to clean it up. There is also zero parking in her area. Parking is competitive and hard to come by.When we both first moved into Miller Estates, the management would post eviction notices on our doors with no explanation. They would claim we owed hundreds of dollars in rent. This went on for months and we weren’t the only ones. This happened to multiple residents. It took a while, but I think that management was able to sort things out as I have not received a letter like that since my first 6 months in this apartment. This isn’t the only time I’ve had troubles with management. One-time management stopped by unannounced and knocked on my door. It took me a while to get dressed and as I reached for the handle the door unlocked and management opened the door before I could even answer it. I stood there angry and shocked as they violated my privacy. That day they claimed they had called that morning and they were going to do routine checkups. However, after showing them my call history it revealed I had received no such call. I refused to allow them to enter and said if they need to check my apartment, they needed to schedule with me.After my second year at Miller estates I tried to give my 60 day notice. However, I was 3 days late. Because of this they were going to make me pay a $2000 break lease fee. That is ridiculous. This forced me to renew for another year. The grounds are beautiful in the spring in fall however they do not clean/maintain the grounds. I’ve had broken glass outside my apartment that I’ve reported multiple times stay there for days. I’ve had to carry my dog until we find a safe place for him to go potty due to glass. I personally don’t mind the cats. Occasionally I’ll hear a cat fight in the middle of the night or find cat paw prints on my car in the morning but other than that the cats leave you alone.Crime is extremely high here. Dont order your packages to your apartment as they will get stolen. Ive had cars around me be broken into. It only gets worse in the summer. People from nearby complexes are climbing over the fences and breaking into the vehicles in the upper parking.I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone to stay long term. It may be in a good central area but the hassle of neighbors, poor constantly changing management and outdated apartments is not worth it.
Such beautiful landscapes and Amir is the best maintenance man I have ever met! He gets five stars ⭐️⭐️
It looks like that only positive reviews here are about a maintenance guy Admir who is no longer working at the property based on tenants review on Miller Estates FB page.
I love living here at Miller estates. The staff in the office is always helpful and very welcoming. They were able to work with my family and I in getting us into the perfect apartment. When ever we had problems in our apartment or things that needed to be fix the maintenance staff were able to get those things done on the same day. My dog loves the staff too and always greets them with his smile and loves going to visit them at the office. They all welcome him and always say hi. This is definitely the best apartment complex I’ve leased at. Also the amenities they have here are amazing... especially the pool! The property itself is just beautiful and when I invite my friends over to visit they can’t believe how beautiful it is here.
I have lived here for about six months now. I have two young boys and they love it here. There are kids to play with in a safe environment. In the summer they have a great pool area. They have a clubhouse with a gym and pool table witch is nice in the Winter. The management staff is very nice and easy to work with. I would recommend Miller Estates to others.
I had two issues that came up at once. A P-Trap under the kitchen sink and a leak from the dishwasher. Called the office and two maintenance technicians showed up within ten minutes, fixed both issues within another 15 minutes. Done and Done. I have been an apartment dweller for 30 years in several states. This place runs smoother than any other property I have ever lived. I highly recommend Miller Estates be anyone’s choice.
These are great apartments in a great area, and their staff is simply amazing! Granted they are a bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance crew (Admir and his team) and office management are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have lived here since 2014 and Admir has always been there to literally save the day, regardless of what time it is or if it is late at night or the weekend; him and his team are ready to drop whatever they are doing to happily assist you, no questions asked. My daughter and I have felt safe living here and will always recommend it to others
We live here now,n its so beautiful! Also we have a disabled daughter n we have a therapy dog thats a pit bull n we feel so welcome n theres a dog park area that they love to go to, so her dog can play w other animals. Its great for our daughter to see this! We love it here especially the views!! Thank you. Lynda
I’m not leaving a five star review because this is not a review of the apartment. Their maintenance guy was super friendly and helpful and asked me to leave him a review like other people have, and while he did an EXCELLENT job the rating is for the apartments themselves, so it’s not fair that both are getting review the same way it seems like a sketchy way to bump up ratings. Again, Admir has always been helpful and I’m thankful for his service the two stars are in no way for him, but for Miller Estates Apartments. They have a lot of work to do if they really want to get five stars, and I hope your not asking your maintainer guys to ask residents to leave them reviews because that’s just a sleazy way to bump up your own reviews by using them.
My experience living in Miller estates has been wonder Admir has been amazing attentive to all the maintenance required, he has responded to the calls in a timely manner and and has even showed up on Sunday for emergency. The office crew and Tiffany have also been wonderful.
Love living here a ton! Awesome quiet place with a great pool. Allows dogs and are super great about them. Any issue Ive had has gotten resolved in 48 hours or less.
The maintenance manager graciously and quickly responded to my request. He negotiated the bill to a more reasonable amount for the task performed. Kudos to Admir.
I will start by saying that I am more than happy with the customer service I experienced by Kevin and the office staff. Kevin was charismatic and knowledgeable person. He was able to answer all my questions and never made me feel pressured. He was patient and very detailed.
Miller Estates is one of the most unique and beautiful communities in the state. The management is wonderful and caring and the community is quiet and immaculate. Love this place. Love the people. You’d be lucky to live here!
Our experience has been amazing! Amber was a delight to work with and very professional. The apartment is spacious and nicely remodeled. So far is very quiet and peaceful -
I’ve lived here a year and I still love it which is cool to me because every other apt I’ve lived at has been a nightmare. My ac went out since it’s been so hot and I called the maintenance guy Admir to come after hours and they were here within minutes to fix it up brand new for me
Visiting some friends at this community and my first impression is great! Clean grounds, lovely designed apartments, and they told me the pool gets to 9 deep! My friends also said the office staff are awesome and very helpful. Miller Estates seems like a wonderful community overall.
Kiera is amazing from the leasing office! She is so helpful and nice. The whole staff really caters to your needs and their customer service is excellent. Would definitely move back in when I go back to Utah. Thanks guys for an awesome experience!
We have a very large dog and this is the best apartment I could have picked moving from a house. It has tons of grassy areas and trees everywhere unlike most apartments in the area. Also after being here about 6 months I had my first issue (toilet problem no biggie) so I called immediately this morning and because of my dog and work schedule arranged for someone to be there when I was able to run home and the problem was fixed right at the time I requested day of and I thought that was pretty dang cool. Kiera the manager was also extremely helpful after a staff switch!
Amazing property! I can’t wait for it to really snow, with all of the trees and water covered it looks like something out of a story book. The staff is also very friendly and quick to respond!
I lived here for a year and never missed a payment and was a good tenant. I kept things very clean and nice, the maintenance guys even said it was one of the cleaner apartments they had seen when they were over once. When I was getting ready to leave I had my mother and sisters join me for a scrubbing party and we deep cleaned everything in the place. We washed the walls and the floor boards and the bathrooms and vacuumed inside the pantries and literally just scrubbed everything. It was way cleaner than when we moved in (which btw wasn’t very clean). Not only did I not get the deposit back, but I have just received a $250 bill after moving out for cleaning!! I am so disappointed. There was no way this apartment was dirty. And that is way overpriced! This place won’t even check they just charge. Also our neighbors smoked so much pot that would come through the vents and into our place and it was very very strong smelling. It would wake me up at night it was so intense. Every time we had company over they would embarrassingly ask us if we were just smoking. and we reported it multiple times and they said they would take care of it but no action was ever taken and the problem lasted the full 9 months we had that neighbor. The place is also worn down. The condition of our cabinets and drawers and toilets wasn’t impressive. And the dryer has no vents so it heats up your house and there is just grossness growing on the walls of the dryer closets.Maintenance and the guys who take care of the landscaping here were very kind and great. But management is constantly changing and they honestly don’t care. There is no love or effort. Which is too bad because most of our neighbors were great and the area was perfect. Wish they would have just taken better care of their tenants, been more fair, and done more to stop big drug and smoking issues.
I have lived here for 4 yrs. They are all so helpful and nice. The maintenance guys are AMAZING!! Admir always fixes things super fast, never leaves a mess and He is so sweet that he makes sure my dogs are locked out of my bedrooms while Im at work. Yay!! I appreciate him so much!! Great job guys!!! Thanks for making my life so much easier!!!! Happy Holidays!!!
Residents tend to be a big problem as rules are not really follow and management doesn’t necessarily enforce them until it becomes a big problem. If you live in the area with one bed apartments than you might not have that many problems; otherwise I would suggest staying away from here, unless you love barking dogs, all night parties, parking lot fights, and the smell of tabaco. I lived here for five years and the biggest problem is how often the management changes, some of them are really helpful and friendly, unfortunately they don’t last long and then you end up with a sour woman for over a year (this is not the current staff), that continuously disrespects the tenants, it’s condescending, and rude. Rent keeps going up but your apartment just gets crappier, I understand the value goes up, but it doesn’t make sense when nothing is getting renovated. I enjoyed my first two year here but by last year I couldn’t have been more relieved to leave this place.
Glad they have taken care of the house and the grounds. Awesome pool!
The leasing office is very unprofessional. They will be nice and helpful until you move in. Once you are in you are just a number. Probably doesnt help that there are new employees every 3 months. Read the reviews people! They are very low star rated for a reason!!
Great experience here. Loved the staff, especially Kevin. He helped me with payment issues and ensured that I was taken care of. Thank you!!
I would not recommend this place to anyone. At first sight this complex seems like a very nice, mature place to live. But once you are there for a short amount of time you realize it is anything but that. My first complaint is with the management. My God, I have never been more disappointed, disrespected, and disregarded in my life. The management is completely disorganized, and extremely rude. I have never been treated worse than I have here. The management ONLY cares about milking you through hidden fees. You can tell that every single worker absolutely hates their job because they treat people like complete trash, (you can read many other reviews on here and see that same exact story). Not only is the management horrid, but the apartments are old and cheap. Dont get me wrong Im not expecting something amazing for a little over $1000 a month, but once you move in, almost nothing works, and the walls are paper thin.. just to name a few things. They always advertise their updated apartments, but dont be deceived.. they are the cheapest updates you could imagine. Overall I would give this place 0 stars. By all means STAY AWAY from this complex. It will deceive you and milk you for money at any opportunity possible. I just wish I read more reviews before I signed my lease, again STAY AWAY!Also, owner please do NOT reply to my review. I dont want some petty, weightless response that changes absolutely nothing. Why dont you actually take a little responsibility, & ownership on these horrible reviews that 100% fully reflect your complex and terrible staff. My advice is take some action, because the negative reviews are definitely piling up. Thank you!
These apartments are beautiful. Almost every window you look out has a great view. The pool is always the perfect temperature! Highly recommended living in this lovely local place.
Do not move here! Read the reviews! I’d give this place negative stars if I could. You’ll notice a common theme I experienced as well misinformation and erroneous charges. I overlooked reading reviews because it seemed quiet and a nice place to live. However the amount of misinformation and erroneous charges couldn’t make me recommend this place to anyone. They don’t take ownership for their employees giving out incorrect information. Office staff in particular Kevin are curt and rude. When mistakes are found in billing they do everything but fix it until you stand there showing them how their error occurred. They don’t disclose the mandatory cleaning fees when you sign the lease even when you ask. They also don’t disclose the break lease fee which is the same no matter what apartment size you rent and as Kevin put it “They can charge whatever they want”. I have always paid online and in full and cleaned my apartment spotless when moving out much cleaner than when I moved in and they still erroneously charged for cleaning fees of over $100. This place is not managed well and violates many leasing practices. Also they don’t maintain the grounds and let dog poop stay everywhere. They also don’t empty out the dog poop garbage cans regularly so they smell and create more bugs. There were constantly bugs everywhere and even though they’ll spray for free the bugs still showed up all the time.If management issues were solved and fees became transparent as they should be in a rental agreement the other stuff could be dealt with but in all this place isn’t worth it and you can find much better places.
Do you like it when someone stares at your breasts?? Thats what the guy working there did to me. He sarcastically asked if if I needed one apartment now... then was rudely staring at my chest! Unprofessional.Awful place! Renovated? Who cares, they are just new management.
Very dog friendly apartments. Staff is nice and willing to work with you on any issues you may have. Great gym year round and pool area in the summer. If within your budget, I really enjoy the atmosphere here at Miller Estates.
The actual apartment I was renting was not available to view before move in. Kitchen cupboards insides are awful. I have black mold in living room, stains on the carpet, been here 6 months and nothing done. I am sad to have to live this way. I have contacted managers several times. I am out of here. I attached photos but there are not included with this review.
This place is constant hell if you work graveyard shifts. They hardly send out notices before they send labor workers out early in the morning. I have three workers outside my window cutting the steel staircase. Definitely needs more professional personnel in the leasing office otherwise dont move here. Not to mention the bottom parking lot was littered with syringes last week.
Super friendly staff and grounds people. Love the landscape with the large trees, flowers and large grassy area. Its great for people with dogs since they have a dog park. I dont have problems with noisy neighbors and I feel safe here.
These are apartments are very spacious and depending on the unit you get, you could potentially have a really nice view from your balcony. My balcony was facing the lake without me being on the lake and I really loved that. The washer and dryer is super small! The kitchen is really small too. I guess I would recommend these apartments to a cat/dog lover because youll definitely need to love free roaming cats and an excessive amount of dog poop to live happily. The staff use to be better but the new guys never even answer the phone but most of the time if you drag your butt to the office, they are willing to help.
Great place to live. Great management. They throw really fun events for the community. I love living here!!
Admir, Meldin, & Joe are amazing! So helpful & kind & helps with my disabilities when they can! They go above and beyond, thanks guys!
I like the big trees and the fact that yall clean them up really well when they fall to the ground. I like the friendliness of the outdoor crew. Im impressed with the way the outdoor crew maintain the pool
Apartment had a fireplace that didnt work the entire time I was there. Reported it several times and no one ever came to fix it for the entire 6 months I was there. Apartments kinda overpriced. Upon moving out, They suck all of your deposit over silly things like a rag that was accidentally left in the bathroom. They take $100 out for carpet shampooing. Was charged for little nail holes in the corner of the closet above the shelf that we didnt even do. Charged for a touch up on their cheap paint that chipped off the walls not of my fault. They wont notify you when work is being done on water as Water was turned off on me while I was in middle of showering. Terrible terrible place to live. Im giving 2 stars 1 for pretty property and another for being pet friendly.
Ive lived all over the US and I have never felt as much at home as I do at Miller Estates. The staff is fantastic my apartment was spotless when I moved in and I think the value is on point! I had some issues with parking when I first moved in but it has since been corrected. Its been three months and I am so happy here! Thank you especially to Kiera for all of your hardwork in finding me the perfect home.
Love this place. Ive been here for 4 months now. The management office is incredibly responsive. The grounds are clean and have gorgeous landscaping. The owners are working to renovate all the buildings. What I really love is that there are lots of kids and big dogs are welcome. The only downside is guest parking. Theres plenty of it but you need GPS and a bicycle to find a building and apartment.
I am very disappointed how bad Miller estates has gotten. My car is constantly getting broken into windows smashed even license plates stolen off my car. I ve called and called to get things fixed and never got fixed.
This place is the worse place my husband getting a hold of them was a hassle and iI schedule to go and look at a available apartment. The apartment look okay the senary is good, but what I did not like is that when we showed up to the appointment they were 15 minutes late. They were very rude and did not even say sorry for being late. I would hate to see how they treat attendant. I would avoid this place.
Ive never had any issues. I love the pool, they keep it open late and its always clean. We have a huge walk-in closet and Im in a one bedroom. My AC broke over the holiday weekend and someone came out same day!! I love it here.
I have lived at the Miller estates apartments now for 6 months now so I can definitely give you a fair review of the place, its not like I moved in yesterday and dont know the place yet, and let me tell you I have never regretted my decision to move here. My wife and I spent a lot of time looking for the right place and we must have gone to see over 25 different apartment places all around the area. Nothing compares to Miller estates. Its location is perfect, your far enough away from the city traffic and theres so much nature on the property it makes you feel like your in the mountains and you forget your in a city (theres even a pretty little lake). Your right near everything such as Costco, Walmart, All restaurants, Fashion place mall, etc you never have to drive far. I have always been taken care of by their staff especially Kateyn in the office who truly cares about you and anything you need, every time I go into the office she knows me by name. Also Admir who takes care of anything wrong in your apartment, I remember one time I called him back 4 times in the same week to take care of an issue with our toilet and he never complained. He also replaced our heater in our apartment and always takes care of anything in the apartments. I know people that have been living here 30 years! Obviously I plan on buying a home one day but man until then, I will be at miller estates apartments.
Beautiful place to call home. Kiera is a sweetheart and is readily available if you need anything. Definitely recommend this apartment community!
Best coffee ever. Hands down. Its the type of thing that makes your parents love each other and compels the sailor to return to shore. So many to sense, yet all are one in their position, making any present fool that challenges his own tortuous convolution suddenly appear wise only by axiomatic proxy of the unfettered prestige set before him. More, when the proud and strong landscaping artists fulfill their promises each week, the cornucopia of exuberant shades of green teeming from the fresh cut grass mimics the luminaries only seen emanating from the ancient Eye of Aureus, both day and night, for at least 72 hours. Every delightful exchange with each one of the beloved Staff at any given moment within this Holy Eden we call Miller Estates brings an automatic sensation of serendipitous and unadulterated lust to become metaphorically satiated by the sweet aroma of organic gourmet cream cheese frosting, fastidiously wrapped in fine silk and saturated in tea tree essential oil, unmistakably possessed of greatness, and at last presented over a bed of newly-opened lemon drops on a Thursday around 6:05 pm, facing the East, breathing deep, greeting, accepting, signing, renting.
Admir has for all of my three years been the best maintenance man I’ve ever worked with. He always solves the problem and he does it usually the same day I call. When our air conditioner went out he fixed it within an hour. Thanks for hiring Admir! He and his crew get the job done!
One of the worst places I have ever rented from. The management is rude and they charge you for everything under the sun. DONT EVER EVEN CONSIDER RENTING HERE!!!!!!!!!! These people are the most inconsiderate that Ive ever encountered. There are bugs on the bottom floors, you will pay the utility bills for the management office. They have no gas meters anywhere on any of the buildings except for the office. You do the math... If I could give less than a star I would. they would definitely get it. Actually thinking about going to the better business bureau and filing a formal complaint. These people dont care about the residents at all. One of them entered my apartment while my wife was asleep. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! I WILL BE MOVING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!! I have parked my semi truck here for over a year with no problems, now all of a sudden it gets tagged for a lease violation to be towed. The trees have not been trimmed since I moved in. THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX IN THE WASATCH VALLEY!!!!!! IF YOURE THINKING ABOUT MOVING HERE YOU BETTER RECONSIDER..... The new management is unwilling to hear a complaint, or just too damn stupid. Havent figured out which yet.
Admir and his staff are fantastic. Prompt and efficient in the work that they do.
Beautiful area, but the management is sad.We were charged for broken things that were there when we arrived. We were also charged for a cleaning fee which is a joke considering how nasty our place was day one and how much cleaner it was when we left it. The security deposit wasnt enough to cover any of this. We were charged $300+.They texted my wife (unauthorized) to collect past due charges (that we had paid), threatened us with an attorney to collect, we disputed and they soon found in their records that we had made our final payments. They have a large broken tree branch near the north parking lot that they continue to ignore after various comments on it. Go see for yourself, it looks like a safety hazard to me. They will say that they have no record of receiving any communication from me so I attached a screenshot from my email history for reference.Dont let this reflect the grounds keepers. Theyre alright. I blame administration for all of the problems. Its no wonder they suddenly offered to keep my rent at its former price as a lot of people have been leaving due to increased cost and poor service.Theyre an unorganized mess and I cant wait to see what silly response they have for this review to justify themselves rather than own up to their mistakes for once.
Worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. They take forever to respond to anything when you call it in. My apartment flooded in the bathroom and the kitchen and their after hours emergency line doesn’t even work. The apartment above also flooded later the next month and once again there was no after hours number available so had to put buckets to catch the water that was dripping from the ceiling. They put an eviction notice because they didn’t check their computer that my roommate and I pay the rent through two seperate transactions. Now we have to have the floor from the kitchen to the dining area ripped apart so they can replace the pipes because we cannot even wash our hands without the sink and dishwasher backing up. It’s taken over a month for them to finally do something about it.
These apartments are very old and gross. The upstairs plumbing constantly kept flooding my apartment while I was at work and even though they fixed the problem many times it continued when the neighbors turned their dishwasher on. The vinyl flooring is cheap and coming up after only a month probably because of the plumbing issues. Everything is falling apart and nothing is done correctly. If you are looking to move in here please don’t. You will find a better option across the street at the cottonwood apartments where I came from.
Every time I have a maintenance issue. Which isn’t very often. I’ve been here nearly three years. Admir and Meldin, show up quickly and get the job done with 10 mins.
I lived at Miller Estates for several years, 2 different apartments. I have also been a cosigner on my daughters lease for the several years they have lived there, 3 different apartments. The office staff are not helpful, they ignored safety features such as a working smoke detector, dirt blowing in through the vents, cuts in the fence allowing for all kinds of people to come on to the property for various transactions that were questionable and most likely not legal, etc. Then when we finally got moved out, cleaned the apartment immaculate, even the carpet in the bedroom, they not only kept our deposit claiming to use if for cleaning that was not necessary, but actually said there was a balance due to them of approx. $150. They rip you off. Plain and simple. I wouldnt recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
I currently live here. And I like it. I saw the reviews from before. They were scary. But I havent had any issues my self. I recommend this place.
I have been living in Miller Estates for two years, and I have to say that our office managers, Jacci and Nate are the most delicious, cutest, funny, gorgeous people on the planet. They both take care of me, and they watch out for all the children in our neighborhood, which is a lot!!!!!!They rock, they make you laugh, they are totally professional in their jobs and duties. I have never been happier.
Run away toilet.... it was constantly running. Wasting water. I saw Amir on the property and told him about it. He said call it in. I did. Amir responded in less than 20 minutes with the proper parts and had it fixed in less than 5 minutes. Wow. Great JOB Amir. We (and Miller Estates) are really lucky you work here!
So first off the neighbors upstairs smoke meth. They were not afraid to share that with me upon moving in. Gross! The management here sucks. The 18 year old blond girl just got out of high school and thinks she is running a day care, playing with your lease agreement and trying to screw with real peoples living situation. Don’t move here unless you don’t mind being harassed by your landlords weekly :).
They are raised my rent without notice at 1 year and I thought I couldn’t possibly pay more than 1200$ for a 2 bedroom 1 2/2 bath but then I now pay 1400$ after parking and trash and water sewer and gas which they do by occupancy and half don’t tell them that they have sublet their room new management every six months and they make up rules as they go they have recently changed the management and they are amazing and the maintenance guys are on top of any and all issues! If you don’t care about rent being raised and car being stolen rent here because you can guarantee it will happen. Not to mention kids knocking on doors at 3 in the morning because there’s nobody disciplining children here
The management is absolutely horrible and will attempt to extort money from you upon your lease termination. They tried to have me pay for the amount of time it took for them to find another tenant and had.a lawyer contact me in an attempt to sue me. Needless to say I keep extensive records and they failed. If you decide to live here keep good notes and receipts. My suggestion is to have a leasing agent physically sign and endorse all receipts so you dont have the hassle many others have been put through.
Do not move in here. Its horrible!! They are already threatening to close the pool for the summer and it was only opened a week. They just have to fix a screw and the wealthy owners are too cheap to fix it. The AC units are all going out they must not have winterized them properly because literally almost all of them are broken. They hired a really scummy company for their security and your cant even find them online thats how bad that company is. Dogs are allowed to bark a lot and get away with it. The people in the office told me they dont care about us they are just work here. So obviously, they arent being paid and treated well either. Dont rent from any of there other properties either. Over priced.... Loud from all the landscaping which is pretty but inconvenient to have all that noise going....
