She walked in not knowing what she wanted (had a sweater on w avocado and toast) to leaving w more than what she imagined!!!Helen did her nails and was super sweet and personable.My nails are Purple. Just plain o purple. But a huge step for me cause I always get nudes or blue. Glad she brought the color out of me cause I love them!

I am never one to leave a bad review but I had to I am very displeased. I went in to get my nails done for a wedding the nail tech did not speak to me other than to tell me to wash my hands and the price she did not greet me ask what shape or anything. The others were extremely nice but she was not I have lumps in my nails and one is way shorter than the other . I will not be returning.

They did great job with my Mani and pedi.

Im giving 3 stars because, although my nails were done well, they were shaped to perfection everything was done smoothly and my eyebrow wax was done magnificently as well. I felt like I was being criticized for not spending a massive amount of money when I only came there for a brow wax in a full set, I felt like they were pressuring me to spend more than what I had planned and quite frankly I did spend a little more then I have planned initially. When it was time for me to leave I actually didnt leave a tip this time and I usually tip my people quite nicely when they do a good job but being that it was my first time getting my nails done there and not my wax there it just felt a little different and it felt like the lady who did my nails expected me not to tip I dont know if it was because of my race.. and I usually dont like to get into that but she seemed to have a bit of an attitude so no I did not leave a tip this time. If you want good work yes I would suggest seeing them but as far as customer service absolutely not I like to be treated well and serviced well, if you all get what Im saying. That really goes a long way.

My story was years ago when I was younger but now that I am older I am noticing how wrong this was. A older woman nail tech took off my nail and made it bleed very badly infecting the nail. It’s been years and my nail still hasn’t grown back healthy. I even said ow during it and she took five dollars off. I never complained since i was maybe 14 and didn’t know better but now I’m older and it still makes me self conscious.

They say they take walk-ins, but if you have long nails and like designs they will turn you around because the techs that specializes in that already be booked, so I don’t understand why they telling people they take walk-ins.

I love getting my nails done at Avalon. Ive been to several nail shops in Salisbury and Avalon is the best. Helen always keep my nails looking great, she is such a sweetheart.

I used to love this place, but stopped going for my eyebrow appointments. The tech casually re-dipped the stick applicator, which was just used to apply wax on my brow. A new stick should have been used.

I love this place! My nails look absolutely beautiful, the people and atmosphere here are amazing. Will continue to return

My fav place to go. High dollar style on my mid-dollar budget. Its also like visiting friends. Theyre always nice and personable. A very relaxing atmosphere.

They are pretty good though I wish they would put some kind of soap in the water when you get a basic pedicure. Unless you pay EXTRA you get only water. I know others places are the same, I guess this is standard practice now. Very friendly.

I had a horrible experience here, the staff is rude and talks about you because they feel we cannot understand them due to the “language barrier”. Not only did I understand what they were saying, they also do not consider theirselves professionals since I was asked to go to a “professional” just after asking for a narrower square shape. The “nail tech” did not speak to me throughout the service and continued to talk to the staff ABOUT me wanting a specific shape, which I was very lenient about. She took no longer than 30 minutes to do my nails, which if you get your nails done often, you know it takes at least 45 minutes to get a decent looking FULL NEW set. Very unprofessional.

Best pedicure I have ever had in my life! I was very impressed with this salon! Instruments came out prepackaged and obviously sterile. Employees were professional and a joy to talk to! I had the basic pedicure and it was heavenly! Nice high end touches such as a hot stone massage complemented the service. Cant wait to come back!

I go to Avalon Nails to get my eyebrows waxed every week or so. I have had a bad experience here before from one particular employee being rude and acting like she hates her job. However, I brushed it off because every other employee that works there is very nice and they do great jobs. Today was the day that I decided I will never visit this place again. While waiting to get my eyebrows done, the very rude employee was told by another employee that there was a customer that needed to get her eyebrows done. She walked up and asked who needed to get their eyebrows done and I said it was me. She then just turned around and sat down and started doing a full set of nails on another customer. I understand that that lady was there before me, but a full set of nails takes about an hour or so to complete. So, I simply walked up to her and asked her how long it would be and she said to me You know she was here before you dont you? I responded, yes I do but I was just asking a general question. I asked her if she thought it was right that I should wait an hour for her when it would only take 5 minutes to do my eyebrows (they have always worked me in because I was just getting my eyebrows done, rather than a manicure or pedicure). She looked at me like I was crazy and didnt even respond. I walked out and I will never come back here again.

Giving them one star because I got there around 3:30pm and didn’t leave til around 6. I got two services done. The older lady that did my eyebrows and I believe is the owner did a horrible job. She ripped the tape off harshly and excessively. I only asked her for a clean up yet she made my eyebrows excessively thinner and they are completely different now. This has happened numerous times. I will not be going back.

I picked out a color, and then the manicurist painted my nails the entire wrong color. I chose to get a gel manicure and she was upset that I didnt choose SNS. It was also the fastest, and most poorly done manicure Ive ever had; Im not sure what the rush was about, as the waiting room was completely empty. There ended up being polish missing in certain spots on my nails, and then too much polish on the sides of almost every nail. I will NOT be back, and will advise others to choose a different place as well.

When I moved to the area, I was desperate for a new nail salon. On my first visit I brought my little one with me. I cant speak highly enough about the girls! The were busy, but they still took time to make me and my little feel special!I have came several times and had a wonderful experience each time.Helen does an amazing job with my nails. When I cant decide on a color, shes my go to girl! Shes absolutely adorable and takes such good care of me!When it comes to pedicures, my feet adore Chaney!!! I like a firm massage and she caters to my needs! I have happy feet every time I see her!How in the world did I forget Christine?!?! She is fantastic! Her memory is excellent! It took 1 visit and she has remembered us ever since! Christines attention to detail is amazing. My nails looked amazing and the color she helped me choose was spot on to my preference!These ladies are highly sought after so an appointment is best to avoid a wait.

Was here for a wedding, hate finding a random place but they did a great job. I am from Atlanta so used to quick in and out so it took a little longer than normal but good work on my pedicure and gel manicure on my natural nails.

As I am planning on moving to Salisbury soon I wanted to find a new nail salon to go to. I have anxiety with going to new places so before I move I wanted to check it out first. Great service and the ladies there were wonderful. I have now found my new nail salon and look forward to moving down here and going back.

I cant stand this place i had a beautiful set of acrylics I came in for a fill-in and the older lady that usually does pedicures did my fill in and neither hand matched by the time she got done she had to sand it twice to get the roughness out of the nails my right hand index finger nail she filed so short looks like a pinky nail they are god-awful I do not recommend this place I will not be back!

Horrible experience. I got there 45 min before they closed, so I made sure to ask if they had time to do a full set. She seemed reluctant but said yes. They had the older lady do my nails, and let me just say that she was very nice, BUT...my nails look like theyve been done by a 3rd grader. They are jacked up and I do mean bad. I will never go back nor will I ever recommend this place

If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! my SNS was done horribly & my nails were filed uneven....I will now have to cut all of my own nails down get a tip and start over I had the lady to remove the powder and I left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had my nails done-SNS Dipping Powder. It was okay. The nails were not done as cleanly as I’ve had them done in the past. Excess was left around my cuticles and the sides of my nails. Overall these will last only 2 weeks instead of 3

I gave this place a one star. The first time I came it was good one of the sisters that work at the salon did my nails. The young one she did a ok job. My thumb was uneven and rough but it was ok. With back for the second time the same thing again happen. Now I know yall thinking why go back? Well all the other places in Salisbury sucked so I continue to go back. The third time is what put the icing on the cake. I came in the young sister once again did my nails it was good one day later my nail broke the day after that another one broke. It wasnt even a whole week yet and 5 nails were broken off. So I went back and Im guessing she had some type of Attitude and didnt want to do my nails or speak. So the old lady did it and did a Horrible job I paid 50 dollars for my nails to have lumps and already look like I need a fill in all my nails are different sizes. Lesson learned I will rather drive to Charlotte to paid for good service.

I have 5 fingers with FUNGUS!!!!!!!!!It’s the only place I’ve been going to for a couple months and I hit my nail and it broke my nail in half so I went to get it fixed and I needed a fill in anyways, so I go in and they take everything off and my finger has green under it, which I just assumed it was from jamming it so okay whatever. THEN she takes off nails from my right hand and my other finger is green and I asked what it was and she said fungus. Why am I getting fungus if their stuff is clean? So I watch them do my nails the WHOLE time. Took out her kit, all the equipment is still dirty and has residue from someone else’s nails, uses a used nail filer. So I get them redone after she “ cleaned “ and refilled my nails and today both of the same nails came off and yet again. Green. But worse

Came here after my sister and I left the rude place down the street. They saved my whole life and hers! They didn’t have the EXACT color i had but they matched it and for someone as picky as myself, if I say i can’t even tell which one was broken, OMG!! I live in ATL but when i come home I’m going by even if I JUST got them done! Very fun and professional group of people. Tina, Lele, Chandy, Tony, Helen...just EVERYONE was amazing! The nice and clean environment is a plus too! Look no further, this is your place to go!!
