I never pick my dentist on a spur of the moment from a google search. However, that’s exactly how I met Dr. Cochell and her assistant. They got me in on SHORT notice to fix an unfortunate situation that happened during the night so I could make it to work on time. The two I had contact with have an incredibly calming presence about them. They work quickly and are so kind and gentle. Their facility is very clean and easy to find. I am glad to have found a dentist I feel comfortable with.

I dont usually write reviews but I want to show my appreciation of Cochell Family Dentistry. I just had another satisfying cleaning with April and Dr. Christel Cochell. Everyone is friendly, the technology is up-to-date, and Dr. Christel is careful, thorough, and detail-oriented. Shes also possibly the gentlest dentist I have experienced, which is great considering my very sensitive teeth. And she always has good advice for home care. I dont have great teeth, but I have a great dentist, so Im not worried about any future work I will need.

I cant imagine going to any other DDS in Salem. One of the finest you will find Very caring and very thorough.

From stepping inside the front doors, it is evident that Dr. Christel Cochells dental practice is professional, competent, standards are high and COVID-19 precautions are followed without staff acting fearful. The areas of the office that I was in are absolutely immaculately clean. The exam & education I received with the plan of care were very comprehensive. Cost of treatment was very upfront & written out for me. Both Dr. Chochell and her assistance have a very peaceful presence that they passed on to me, therefore naturally reducing dentist anxiety. This is likely the first time that I have left a dental office feeling comforted; even after a new crown. Thank-you Dr. Cochell & staff, keep up the great service.

I’ve been using Cochell Family Dentistry for years. Never wanting to leave them, I’ve come to see them as family. They’re friendly, detailed, and honest. Dr. Cochell, her husband, and their whole team are always on time and transparent with the services offered. I trust her so much, I’ve recommended all my colleagues here and will continue to do so for decades to come.

The staff is super friendly. I was impressed with the way they are handling the current COVID-19 situation. They are definitely putting safety first. I love both of the Cochells and I am so glad that I found this place. You can tell they really care about their patients.

I love the service, the staff and the atmosphere they have created. The attention to detail is obvious as soon as I walk in the door and see the wooden picture frames hand made by Travis. This same attention to detail was remarked on by an oral surgeon when looking at the full and partial crowns Travis had done for me. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable too especially when working with my insurance to secure the best benefit for me. I also appreciate the wisdom Travis provides from his years of experience when going over options about what will be most effective and efficient for both my teeth and my pocket book. I highly recommend them!!!

This dentist is just the best. The whole staff is super friendly. The scheduling superwoman, Jen, makes the whole check in / scheduling / payment and insurance billing a breeze. Dr. Cochell is patient and great at his job. We love this business!!

Ive been a patient at Cochell Dentistry for many years as have my husband, daughter and grandsons. Dr. Crystal is thorough, detailed and caring. She has monitored my and my husbands dental health and made good suggestions over the years. Were both in our 70s. Dr. Crystal is wonderful with the children especially the youngest. Our 6 year old grandson needs a slow, patient, friendly approach that is adaptable. This is true even more so for our 10 yr old autistic grandson. Dr. Crystal is so very willing to adjust her approach toward each child in order to build a relationship of trust and mutual cooperation. The children always receive a little reward from her toy bin at the end of a visit and this has become a real positive for them. I give this dental clinic the highest recommendation.

Great dental practice for my whole family. The staff is so friendly and puts you at ease right away. Dr. Christel is always on time and works thoroughly yet quickly. That kind of timeliness is really important to me as a mother of four children that are also patients here. Would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Amazing team and service

Doctors Cochell are great! They take the time needed to answer questions and get it right. They dont over treat. I am especially impressed by how they interact with their aides. They are patient, gracious and explain everything to them. I believe this to be a sign of a good heart.

My family and I have been coming here and have had nothing but great service. As a veteran, I was going to the VA in Portland for dental work, but thanks to Dr. Cochell and her team, they were able to transfer all my work down here. Having PTSD and driving was can be a nightmare and I am glad to avoid that. I highly recommend Cochell for any family.
