One of the best dental staff I ever had at the Turner rd location in Salem. (Amber) Was really down to earth and made me feel like a person and not just a patient. Gave me some useful tips on improving my issues, and for the first time in a while I didnt leave the office feeling ashamed of my teeth. I was very impressed with the courteous and professional service rendered. I went in with the fear that... since Im on a budget... they would treat me like chopped liver. Nothing could be further from the truth.I havent been to a dentist in years. My teeth are a mess. But I really look forward to all my upcoming appointments.
This is the best Dentis Ive Ever been to. They take great care of the patients. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I have been terrified of going to the dentist my whole life. They are gentle, patient and caring. Doing everything they can to make sure they dont cause pain. Im going through some major dental procedures and they always make sure Im calm and cared for!!! If you need to go to dentist this is where to go!!! I tell All of my friends and family to go here!

Ive been a patient at this dental office for a few years now. It was overall pretty good my first year - had no issues with staff, the hygienists & my dentist Dr. Ofisa were great. I give them bonus stars at 5+...My rating has changed to three stars as these days I havent been able to get through when making a call and I still havent been able to schedule an appointment for a routine exam. I did receive one call back, but that was a week after I had left a message. Other than that, its located near the shopping area off of busy Mission St SE (Lowes Walmart), next to Panda Express. Its a petite parking lot, but generally I never had issues finding parking. I recommend making sure you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment as I recall it took staff time to catch up.
Dentist and staff are nice but appointments take too long. They cancelled my appointment made 5 months ago at the last minute and tried to reschedule me in 4 months. Not OK.
Dr. Tran was very professional, kind, and thorough. I had a filling come out and they were booked out until November but placed me on the cancelation list and got me in at the end of June. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful.
Honestly the WORST dental office Ive EVER been to in my life. Not only do they schedule you MONTHS OUT they also make false diagnostics. My daughter was scheduled for a cavity filling but when we finally got in after two months they said she didnt have one. They also told my wife she had cavities yet they scheduled her 4 MONTHS out to get them filled... we were scheduled this morning but when we got in they claimed they tried calling multiple times even though I didnt get a single notification except for their text confirmation to be at the appointment TODAY! Id rate 0 stars but it wont let me. HORRIBLE experience.
Jerrica,Has Amazing customer service, I over saw her work through a challenging situation where a patient showed up to the wrong office, and she was professional empathetic, helpful and empowering to the patient, and family she stayed with it untill there needs were met. She doesnt get rushed and treats every person as though they are the only one.Its rare to see such amazing service, shes a gem!!!!

Have to wait months to get an appointment then they call three days before the appointment to reschedule it!!! Twice!!
Called in the morning, they had a cancellation so got me in the same day! Fixed my chipped front tooth and did a nice cleaning. Very fast and efficient, I thought that was really nice the Dr fixed my tooth right then, Great experience!!

The dentist himself is nice however I got a filling a couple months ago, the other day I took a bite of an apple and the entire filling came out. I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes trying to get ahold of someone. I understand they’re busy but I think 30 minutes is a little excessive.
Anyone whom has something negative to say about the Receptionists, Staff, or the Dentist NEED TO TAKE THE THORN FROM THEIR OWN EYE! Then you will be able to see how to help your neighbor! I contacted Advantage Dental six months ago after having little to no dental work for 30+ years! I was afraid of the dentist as well as busy taking care of others through out the years and failed to care for myself! This is not a complaint just the facts! Day 1: They were able to schedule me for a same day appointment! Completed x-rays, prescribed the antibiotics, and pain medication! Still on Day 1: I was scheduled for an appointment one week later, due to infection they were unable to take care of the problem that day! One week later they so kindly removed the teeth that were in the worst condition AND THEN: They scheduled me for another appointment (How far out you ask?) ONE WEEK! This kindness has continued through out several months as they continue to make me a NEW SMILE! Which was absent from my life all these years due to embarrassment of the condition of my teeth! Not one single person in the entire clinic has been rude, non caring, or judgmental! Actually the exact opposite: Kind, Caring, Attentive, and made me feel right at home! My new smile is almost done and I cant Thank God and ALL the people at ADVANTAGE Dental enough! I would encourage and recommend that you go and check them out for yourself! THESE FOLKS ARE A GOD SEND and AWESOME! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart ADVANTAGE DENTAL!
My boyfriend had an appt at 10 a.m they didnt get us in until 10:25. Im not sure if they were short staffed or what but they had the receptionist help them chart and then they ended up having me do it they were very disorganized. Ive never experienced such a terrible dentists office. Im not a dentist however Ive been to many dentists and these people seem like they dont know what theyre doing. Not pleased at all! We will not be coming back. Dont recommended.

Dr. John (Ofisa) is an absolute gem. He listens and strives to make sure you get what you need. Never before have I had a dentist that is as personable as he is, he often makes me laugh, even during invasive procedures! The DAs and the receptionists are just as amazing. Wonderful people and wonderful clinic!
Hands down the best dentist I have been to. The receptionist will work with you I dont have all of the money upfront Dr John was amazing to work with. He solved my problems perfectly! Will continue to go here. Thanks again

Worst customer service ever!! The dentist and his staff are extremely nice, but the receptionists are rude and I have waited up front without being greeted at least three times. This surprises me because there are two of them, I would think someone would be there to greet patients. The office would be a lot nicer with more helpful and polite staff.
Well I was a little nervous about getting through reception after reading all the comments about them but they were wonderful. I received helpful, professional and friendly service from the lovely Hispanic lady at reception. I had only recently gotten insurance and was given the wrong address for my appt. The receptionist checked my file online, followed up with me about my pain and swelling and gave me the right number to call to get everything rescheduled. She seemed quite normal in all this, not an effort to provide at all. Thanks!
First time calling this place. Havent seen a dentist in years. The person who picks up asks me for my insurance ID and halfway through reading it to her she just hangs up. What a b****. I dont know if the doctors are any good but their reception just needs to be completely replaced.
Worst dentist experience I ever had. They took my money and said they could pull my tooth then did nothing but give me a perception that last one night i called back and they would not help me at all
Excellent staff. Receptionist were very informative and helpful. Dr. Jon was very proffesional and knew what he was doing. I had a tooth removed and didnt feel a thing. I will bring my family here for all dental needs.

Scared me away.Update 4/18/17:I filed a complaint against this company through Advantage Dental and I got a letter return to me saying the disrespectful receptionist did nothing wrong and pretty much I am lying. Thats fine all they had to do is read through the reviews and they would learn a lot. I will not deal with Advantage Dental no longer nor this Clinic.I would not recommend Advantage Dental or this Clinic.
Love Dr John and the dental assistants but the two Hispanicreceptionists are incredibly rude. Unless, of course, you are hispanic.I do not know why they still have a job.I actually dread going in.
Dr. John and his staff are amazing, but the receptionists are a joke. They always our me through circles when I try to set appointments, and they have absolutely no people skills (unless you ate Hispanic).
The dental staff are great, but the office staff are rude, in considerate and absolutely no help what so ever! It is ridiculous to have appointments 6 to 8 months out even when a child is in pain. I called at 9 am and was told that to get an appointment for the following week I had to call back at 8 am no later or earlier to make that appointment. Ridiculous to be treated like an inconvenience by a so called professional.
I personally havent had a bad experience here. They do take a while to get you in for an appointment. Dr. John and his staff are super nice and cool people. They carried a conversation with me, didnt make it seem like they wanted to do their job and get me out I felt welcomed with them. But when you enter the store the receptionist just has this negative vibe, both receptionists actually. They dont talk to you very much and they just stare at there computer the whole time youre waiting. I go to a orthodonist called Johnsons Family Orthodonist and those receptionist are some of the nicest, most professional people Ive met. Maybe the receptionists here should give them a call and ask for advice. Recently I did go to the dentist to get a filling and I seen that the filling was put in after the work was done, but a few days later i seen a whole in my tooth again. So where did the filling go..
No issues with the actual dentist, but the two Hispanic receptionists are, to put it nicely awful! They are rude and make you feel like an idiot. If I put up with their attitude this long its because I really like the dentist and the way he is with my kids. But Im done bringin them here Im finally fed up with this womens attitudes and lack of customer service.
Frustrated at lack of just overall customer service with receptionist.Feel as though the are rude to my family and short with answers, every time Ive had a interaction.Filled out paperwork over 2 months ago, and our phones numbers where not updated at all, so we were treated rudely when we came in to our appts this morning.Only get appts every 2 months.I asked them to call me back to sit in on my daughters 1st dental appt, and the dental assistant said she would and then didnt do it. So finally I had to go back myself.I do not recommend going here
They triple book appointments at the same time with only one dentist working. Super long wait even with a scheduled appointment and little to know communication from the office staff...
If I could give my experience lower the 0 I would. Im a caregiver to a client with parkinsons disease, I just got a call from the (ever so rude and bitchy) receptionist 1 hour before the appointment that my client has been waiting for 2 months for. Cracked tooth and exposed nerve cells.SHE SAT THERE AND AGRUED with me and my client that she couldnt do anything. Finally after 15 minutes of advocating for BASIC HUMAN CARE she made and appointment for him on Albany.... with much resistance because it causes her to actually do her job.She called at 11:45, our appt w as at 1:00. WHY WOULD ANYONE THINK CANCELING AND EMERGENCY DENTIST APPOINTMENT WOULD BE APPROPRIATE ONE HOUR BEFORE. if you have the ability to review different care, do it. These people are unreliable and take dentistry as a complete joke.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE unless you want them to be afraid of the dentist for the rest of their lives. The dentist lied to my child, saying that hed put down the needle (it was really hidden behind dentists back) and just needed to see something in my sons mouth. My son opened his mouth for the dentist to see, they shoved a spacer in so the boy couldnt shut his mouth, and came in to do the shot. That was 2 years ago and my son STILL has issues with dentists and needles. Thank you, Dentist (I forget his name, Hispanic guy) for making my son despise dentists.

In the year 2020 my children had an appointment for October they canceled it for February 2021, then for June and they gave me one for September 7 and they call me a week before to tell me that there are no appointments until February 2022 😱😱ooo wuau !! My kids were never able to get a checkup .... 😡😡
