I had a traumatizing experience when getting one wisdom tooth removed a year ago at a dental in Oregon City. I was terrified when they advised i needed to get a second one removed. Oak park dental has been nothing but stellar when it comes to customer service. In 2019 I couldnt get into my own dentist of 10 years for an emergency. They took me in and took care of me. They are kind.. efficient.. and extremely professional. Dr OLeary is my doctor and I feel very safe and taken care of!

Dr. Kelly and assistant Susie are a great pair, together they provide excellent work along with entertainment. Their side chats are hilarious, tv show reviews and little jokes amounts themselves, you forget that they are drilling away at your teeth. Thank you for your excellent work and entertainment!!

I just had my first appointment for a cleaning and I had the best experience! Stacie was wonderful, she was the dental hygienist. She explained everything while I was able to see all my X-rays and answered any questions I had and we had a nice conversation about life. Dr. O’Leary was kind and made sure all my questions were answered including recommending the best treatment for my teeth.

I received care here this morning today February 1st, 2021. My visit was wonderful due to the care of 3 people. A great, very sweet and knowledgeable Technician...didnt catch her name an older woman with short like boy cut hair, Megan another Rep. That I mostly discussed and whom removed my tartar from my teeth painlessly. She answered all my questions and reassured me of my concerns. Lastly a very informative Dr. whom I also didnt catch her name as well however she and Megan were wonderful and caring to me. I hadnt been to the the dentist since over 2 years. This place is great because the people are wonderful and caring...most importantly the billing is straight forward unlike our experience with our past Dental place, dont want to mentioned their name because theyve finally corrected their errors. The receptionist here are nice and professional unlike some other place that my husband have had a bad experience with which we wont mentioned there names either. Thanks for a great experience all around with billing, receptionist and Dental work experience. 😊

Oak Park Dental is a great Dentist office. I dont know anyone personally who is ever thrilled about going to the Dentist. Myself have had some pretty awful experiences. The staff at Oak Park was so nice, friendly, caring and compassionate. They really made me feel at ease and that while I was in their chair, getting my dental needs cared for was their number 1 concern. They explained exactly what they were going to do, ask if it was ok...kept checking on how I was every step of the way. From check in to check out and everything in between was a very comfortable experience for me. I had a very bad infection In my tooth, so I was very ill. They had me feeling so much better in a very short amount of time. I just cant thank them enough for their treatment of me while I was in their care. I would recommend them to everyone I know. They are all a class act in that office.

I have a history of terrible hygienists and dentists so when my husband recommended his dental hygienist to me I was a bit hesitant but shes fantastic! Im so glad I made the switch! Dr. O’Leary installed an implant that my mouth geometry made a bit complicated. All the steps were clearly explained up front, including cost, and the work went very smoothly. His assistant was knowledgeable and friendly. I travel 40 miles to this office, and will continue to do so!

Its office is quiet and modern. Front staff treat you nicely. I have a new hygienist today and she was careful and through. My dentist seems nice as well. On checkout you stop by a desk where your next visit is planned including how your insurance will pay and what your copay will be. They do a great job and this is coming from a person that has always HATED dentists.

I am one of those people who absolutely avoids going to the dentist. So far I have found everyone who has helped me at Oak Park dental to be very kind and considerate. I have been dropped by some dental offices for continuously canceling my appointment. So far I haven’t found a need to do that with Oak Park dental. I have a big appointment coming up and I’m not nearly as worked up about it as I normally would be. So far I would recommend Oak Park dental to anyone who has had anxiety issues with the thought of sitting in that chair.

They have cancelled my appointments twice. why are you even scheduling patients if you just cancel the appointment. They deserve zero stars. This place is the Mcdonalds of Dentists herding people in for rushed service and scheduling providers with patients every 5 minutes to maximise profits.

I really have to say that even though I have a tremendous fear of the dentist, I quickly got over it. From the receptionist to the dentist, it was an informative, comfortable experience. Laurie cleaned my teeth and carefully explained every step. This is the first time I had a large screen where I could see exactly what the dentist was talking about. The dentist, Dr Kelly, appeared to be a kid and I was apprehensive, however, that apprehension was wrong. We talked about various procedures, pointing out the good and the bad. I never was pressured into something I didnt need or couldnt afford. I dont have Dental insurance so Cathi, the New Patient coordinator, explained a plan that they have for people without insurance. Again, no pressure. I want to thank the staff for their kindness in this horrible pandemic. I would highly recommend Oak Park Dental. I told them when I left that this was the best dental experience Ive had in my life.

Let me preface this buy saying I was a patient for several years (4?5?). I had routine cleanings, repair of old broken filling and maybe 1 other filling. Nothing major.The good: Overall, the office is clean and staff helpful when asked directly. The dentists seem competent and I didnt have an issue getting in when it was urgent.The bad: About 4 years ago I was in for a cleaning. The hygienist tried to sell me Rodan and Fields. While I was in the chair. So weird. It made me so uncomfortable I skipped the next cleaning (cancelled well in advance). HOWEVER, that hygienist left. I was paired with a new one. It was okay. She left. Another. She left. I was scheduled today with yet another hygienist. Yesterday while I at work I received 3 text messages and a call to remind me, the confirm, then to cancel my appointment. When I left work I realized the last one was to cancel my appointment for not confirming it today. The texts were at 8:36, text at 10:34, call at 10:44, text at 1:37pm. Ive NEVER had this experience. It was after they closed but I left a voicemail asking if I still had an appointment in the AM. My husband had taken time off so that I could go and I made that clear to Cathi when I made the appointment a month ago and when my child had his cleaning 2 weeks ago. This morning I got a text that said Good morning Alyse. This is Oak Park Dental. We received your voice message. Because we were unable to confirm your appointment We went ahead removed the at 6:58am. I responded that Id be finding a new dentist. The receptionist that called me (not Cathi) apologized for their policy saying theyve had a lot of no shows lately, that they werent trying to do this to their old patients and she could add me back in. No. Absolutely not.The dentists are okay. But the hygienists are meh and have a high turnover (that should tell you a bit). Very few reception staff are long term. Again, should tell you a bit.It really is okay for a dentistry practice. But, for having never missed an appointment or cancel without sufficient notice their new practice is insane. Hope you dont have to work the day before because if you do and you dont answer then your appointment will be cancelled.EDIT TO ADD: Their response captures the attitude of the entire office. Downgrade to 1 star. Their office staff, mainly Cathi, is RUDE. And, tbh, their dentists are just meh. Nice, but meh.

Salem peeps, if you need an amazing dentist see Dr. Stubblefield at Oak Park Dental. I had to get a tooth pulled and have major anxiety going to the dentist. This was the best experience Ive had in my life. I didnt even feel anything. Im really hard to numb and he def did I good job with that. Half of my face is numb from my chin to my ear lol def go there! Its the new one on Portland Rd by Harbor Freight. And his assistant is so nice and made me feel very comfortable.🦷👍

First of all Kim was real blessing, nice and made me feel comfortable. However I feel I was miss led. Went in to have my teeth cleaned. They did all kinds of x-rays. Really thought I was getting all this done then the teeth cleaning.I should say the cost was to be 77.00. But when the nurse came in it was a total different price. It had jumped from 77.00 to 608.00. And NO teeth cleaning! I was getting so angry and tried to keep my temper. I felt that even after I told them I had NO insurance they tried to take advantage of me anyway. Needless to say I will NOT go back and if asked I will be willing to tell them how I felt after I left.

The entire crew at Oak Park are awesome!! For many years I’ve avoided a dentist for years unfortunately to the point of needing quite a bit of work done but Dr O’Leary, Laurie, Hope, Cathi have made the experience a complete success. Still a little of work left but can’t wait to get to the finish line and experience an incredible new smile with healthy teeth and gums!!

I used to come here years ago when I had a good job and insurance. I was treated great back then. Now, that I am disabled and on medicare, that all changed. I was sent through Salem free clinic to get two teeth pulled. The dentist did not even bother to tell me that he broke the 3rd tooth. I begged to have the manager or owner call me. I never got that call. I had to get that 3rd tooth pulled at the free clinic. It just amazes me how little empathy these people have once your statis in life changes. Sad:(

The hygienist, Megan, is very nice and thorough, Dr. Stubblefield is to the point and offers all options and lets you make the decisions. The front office staff gives detailed estimates and are very friendly. I would recommend Oak Park Dental to anyone 🙂

Love the friendly staff I just went in for my cleaning that was overdue due to Covid-19. They got me in as soon as they could! Very knowledgeable I like to ask questions to know and understand what’s being done and they have the patience to explain it all 😊👌🏼

Had a root canal done at Oak Park Dental today. It was as good as a root canal could be. The Dentist who treated me was skillful and did a great job of answering the questions I had, and explaining the procedure to me.The assistants who worked with Dr. Stubblefield were also very professional and skillful. It had been many years since I had been to the dentist. So needless to say I was scared and knew there would be a lot of work to be done. The moment I walked into this office I felt at ease, and knew I had come to the right dentist. Everyone was pleasant and kind and made me feel comfortable. So happy to have found the right dentist.

They have really, really improved here.They used to do whatever they wanted in your mouth, whether it was covered or not, then demand you pay for it all before leaving and act shocked that you weren’t carrying $3,000 expendable cash in your pocket.In fact, I had determined to find a new dentist for this reason. But I had one more appointment with them and I went to it... now I’m staying!The new (polite, unassuming, friendly) receptionist told me that I had a credit of over $500 with them (I guess the old management didn’t care they owed me money and weren’t going to tell me) and asked if I wanted a check or debit card credit. I was stunned. I used to get held up here, and now they were giving *me* money?The hygienist was really good (although the hygienists there have always been) and when she sat me in the chair she brought up my insurance on a laptop and showed me exactly what was covered and what was not. She figured out when my next covered appointment would be, and exactly what would be covered then.She also saved me hundreds of dollars by pointing out that although I was due for a 5-year, full-mouth X-ray, we were technically 2 days early and my insurance wouldnt pay even 1 day early, so I should wait for the next appointment to do it.When the dentist came in he was totally approachable and laid back. He even had a 5 o’clock shadow which I appreciated because it shows dentists are human beings, not over-educated money hounds.So yes! I will be back. And the fact that the receptionist was so pretty has nothing to do with it.XD

I really love Oak Park. Their front office staff are always super friendly and welcoming. I stumbled upon them several years ago when my previous dentist moved away and we couldn’t follow her before I had a dental emergency, shortly before they moved into their current location. My hygienist, Karen, is the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She’s very personable and we are always laughing and having a great time, which makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience! The entire staff are very caring and concerned about your comfort and dental health.10/10 would recommend Oak Park and their wonderful staff to anyone!

I have been a patient of this clinic for 5 years and never had any problems with them. Full exams are 100% covered by my dual insurances every two years or so, but I was scheduled an appointment a week prior to the two year mark, therefore I had to pay a partial amount. I tried to explain to the situation to the billing/insurance staff about the mistake that was made by the staff who scheduled my appointment earlier than when my insurances would cover the exam, but they werent willing to listen and asked if Id be paying cash or card. I told them I would seek out another dentist office after paying my bill and instead of negotiating a way for me to stay, they had asked which dentist they should forward my exam results to. The billing staff was extremely rude and I was appalled by their behavior knowing I have been a long time patient. They are not mentally capable of resolving issues but instead scam patients out of money.

Easy location with adequate parking. Receptionists are very friendly. Clean and warm atmosphere. Kim and Carla were awesome doing all the prep work. Dr.Kellenberger was extremely polite and professional, explained everything, and very quick. Scheduling next appointment was a snap. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
