The office staff was friendly, sympathetic and helped me find the (cleverly hidden) model number for my fridge so that they could bring out the correct replacement part. Ken was on time, professional, fixed my fridge quickly and even cleaned up after the job was done. I had shopped for a new fridge so I was thrilled to pay a tiny fraction of what I would have paid for a new one. I whole-heartedly recommend United Repair.

Not bad for convenience factor. The part I needed was only $5 through Amazon but would have to wait 3 days for it. United Repair sold me the part for $16 and they had it in stock.

The very detailed information I provided to the person who answered the phone was not written down and therefore it was not conveyed to the repair tech. As a result my dryer control panel was broken by the repair tech pulling on a fragile switch -- because he did not have the info that he needed, which was that it was held together with electrical tape and I only needed it soldered plus my washing machine looked at. He did nothing for my washing machine, he just told me that it needed repair which I already knew..But I was still billed for the repair visit even though my dryer worked fine before the visit and was completely broken afterwards. I would not recommend this company unless you have them read back to you everything that you tell them to ensure the communication is accurate.

Took all my information and then the owner decided they didnt want to look at my Samsung refrigerator, told me to call Salem Appliance, and then hung up.

It took a little while because this is a popular and busy shop (especially during a pandemic-fueled baking frenzy). However, they repaired my Kitchenaid mixer so it was like new. Charge was more than reasonable. Thanks!

They always get me worked in quickly in 24-48 hours. They have good record keeping, know my appliances, serial numbers and either have the part in stock or back to them within two days. We have worked with them for years. Customer service and the people that come out to our home are all fantastic.

That guy Randy is the best appliance repair tech for miles around...you wont get a better repair, or a more fair deal by a truly honest company.... I own several apartments and..i have had several commercial units, both washers and dryers at different times over the years break down due to heavy use, and this company got them all up and running again, lasting for years n years after the repairs.. I have been using thier expertise for years now repeatedly and have NEVER been disappointed.

I think United Repair is a GREAT place to do business. I have had repairs done twice now at my home, and both times they came the next day and fixed the problems on that same day. They are fast, dependable AND reasonably priced . The repair people are super nice and respectful. I wouldnt consider calling anywhere else in Salem for appliance repair.

When no one else wanted to do the repair we needed, these guys stepped up and got it done in a timely manner, with great customer service! Very satisfied, dryer fixed working great

Our downdraft Jenn-Air oven was creating an electrical burn smell when we used it. Ken and Asensio diagnosef where the malfunction was and quickly repaired it. They were very professional and I appreciated their expertise. I would recommend them to other people who are experiencing appliance problems.

The Worst! Be prepared, they have had my dishwasher for over 3 weeks. Never once called me. I called them weekly and the story never changed., waiting for parts. Come on really? You are an appliance repair business, its a Whirlpool, its a dishwasher. I would never recommend this business to anyone,. Be warned. Oh and I still dont have my dishwasher. I will be interested on how long they will be willing to wait to be paid.

The owner came to look at our fridge a few weeks ago. While in the house, he looked at our broken dishwasher rack (wheel had broken off of the top rack). He told me to bring it to the shop, and they could replace it in a few hours. I dropped it off this past Friday, and they had it fixed in two hours - just long enough to get a few errands done. Everyone was friendly, and their price for labor was very reasonable.

I had purchased a dishwasher from Sears less than a year ago. The d/w door was not closing properly. Found United Repair to check out the issue. Turned out to be a bad part. I needed a heating element replaced my dryer.My dryer was working great, but no heat. The repair man didnt seem to know what he was doing, it took him 3 hours to take my dryer apart. Now, not only is my dryer not heating; IT DOESNT WORK AT ALL. And the worst part - I was stupid enough to pay him $100.00. Then he tried to sell me one of his used dryers.SAVE YOUR MONEY - DONT USE THESE GUYS!!

I do not post reviews often, but United Repair deserves a review. I have a refrigerator that had not been keeping safe temperatures and was under warranty. We had multiple repair companies come out and claimed they had fixed only to have the issue occur time and time again. United Repair got assigned the warranty repair and made multiple visits with lengthy troubleshooting with vendor calls. They finally managed to find the problem and the refrigerator has been working ever since. I appreciated the dedication and tenacity in my repair!

BE PREPARED TO BE SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED! I bought a washer from these guys in December. It has flooded my garage no less then 6 times. I have had a plumber out 3 times because I thought it was because of my drain pipe. Turns out its just a crappy washer! I put clothes in and they come out dirty still. I put towels in and it beats the hell out of itself because it cant balance the load. My ultimate favorite is that I now have at least 6 shirts that are bleach stained because after a load of whites and running it totally empty of clothes it still managed to have some bleach in it!
