Big green caravan with the wicked witch of the west on the side door glass. The drivers are not usually talkative. The last time the radio was on and it was loud, and in a foreign language. They, I believe, are supposed to take you anywhere in salem for 12 bucks. What they forget (or chose not) to tell you is if its round trip, you have to pay 2 extra dollars per every five minutes after the first five(apparently afraid to lose money I guess). I dont blame them, its a business, and while your in a store they couldve been on another call. All in all Id recommend it because the vans are roomy and its a comfortable ride... if only Id taken Spanish as a second language, Id be able to understand what the radio was playing. Next time Ill just bring my ear buds. 🚖 beep beep! 🤣

Do not use Witch City Taxi unless you have no other choice. ABSOLUTELY horrible service. I would give 0 stars rating if that were an option. I have lived in Salem for 10 years with my two daughter and as I dont drive I have had to use them from time to time. I have been ripped off by greedy drivers where the fare to the same destination is whatever they feel like they can get away with. They will not wait longer than 2-3 minutes before departing even if they dont have another fare. And most importantly my daughters a have been terrified by their poor drivers... its just a matter of time before they kill someone. And if you do not speak Spanish fluently you are out of luck. I will walk before ever using them again, its truly that bad.

Sitting behind your green van #1 at a bridge and your taxi drivers smoking cigarettes in the taxi and threw it out on the road by the kernwood bridge. Kids, sick people, parents. Non smokers. All these people rely on transportation if they don’t have a car.Do better. I normally wouldn’t care, but your a taxi company covered in other companies advertising. It’s not a good look.

This company did a huge favor for my boyfriend. My boyfriend went to video a wedding and got stranded at the venue late at night with no way back and a dead cell phone. I call them and they sent a car to go get him. They totally went out of their way to help us out and were so friendly! I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!!!!

11:30pm Friday night called for a pickup from Rockafellas to Clipper ship Inn. Taxi showed up legit 2 minutes later, knew short cuts and had us home way faster than any other private service wouldve. Ridiculously cheap, even with a nice tip is still cheaper than the other ones. Using this from now on!

I used this taxi service 3 times in one day. We were going to several venues on our sightseeing adventure and I called them each time because we were short on time for the next venue. We got there each time. They were excellent. They also texted or called to let me know they were on their way. Excellent service.

Yesterday I got out of surgery at aspen dental so the receptionist called a witch city taxi for me . We were told 15 min . I waited 50 min and when I told the driver that I don’t think it’s right for them to lie about the time at least tell me the truth how long it’s going to take so I am able to make other arrangements if I want to. Well the driver was rude didn’t even apologize . He said he just started his shift.So i then called the company to see if they would at least show some type of caring nope nothing so rude put me on hold like six times I told him how dare you keep putting me on hold finally I told them I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay he said okay the company will pay the driver. I take this cab company every morning for work the team that is on at 4am Rafael and 3other drivers are very nice and professional the rest need to go back to school and learn some morals.

One again - nearly hit by a witch city taxi on a cross walk. These drivers Cruise around with zero regard for the lives of pedestrians. It’s their movie and we are simply extras in the background.

I called for a pickup in Peabody and was told no! I’ve seen them many times in Peabody SO THAT’S A LIE! And dispatcher is rude!

Was almost in Peabody and needed to get home to Marblehead from Salem. They showed up almost instantly and it was only 15$. Overall great service and the tunes werent bad either. I was happy to tip the 5$ out of the 20 i handed my driver. 10/10 would call again.

Overall okay. Gets to my house faster than an Uber the majority of the time. Last two days theyve been a bit late and I was late to work because of it. They have occasional issues with their card readers in their cars. And Ive had one driver take a road that added about 2 miles to my ride.

I called a taxi at 1:19 PM. They told me a taxi would arrive in 10-15 minutes. At 1:39 I got a text notification saying my taxi is on its way. I waited outside for the taxi for 20 minutes. 4 taxis drove right by my house and didnt pick me up. I called the pompany asking where my taxi was and they told me its almost there. Another 20 minutes later no taxi. Finally at 2:07 the taxi shows up! Almost an hour later!!!

!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! driver one time took me to the wrong location than what I told him. He pretended not to speak English at first, I assume its because he didnt want converse. After telling him this isnt my destination, he calls his company. Is back and forth with them for 7 minutes. The driver is refusing to tell me whats going on. I got really scared and called my friend and told her to stay on the phone with me. I told him to stop the car and I left. He then began apologizing in perfect English and let me out.

Inconsistant. Sometimes they dont speak English. Sometimes they take the absolute longest route possible and its taken me a half hour without traffic to get home when it should take less than 10 minutes. They used to have some great drivers but in the last year its really gotten pretty bad. Ive now been waiting for a taxi for 35 minutes when they said it would be 10 minutes the first time and the second time calling 1 minute. I stopped using this company before and Im done using this company again. Go to Salem taxi, the cars arent as nice but they are atleast on time.

Rudest customer service I’ve ever had

$10 to go two miles up the road is a lot.. A lot... But thats not my issue... I called a cab to work at 10:28 said I was in front of the building the driver pulled up on the side of the building in the parking lot.. Instead of calling to inform me he was there, the guy started falling asleep.. I had to knock on the window twice to wake him up.... Not the most safest ride with him speeding on and off..

If 0 stars were possible, I’d choose it. We are from out of town and needed to go to Walmart to buy a couple light groceries so we didn’t have to eat out for everything while being here. We called them to go to the store as well as coming back. While each time they arrived almost immediately, neither drivers spoke English well and they were rude. Now that I could deal with if we weren’t scared for our lives!! They BOTH were texting while driving, speeding, cutting other drivers off and swerving. On the way to Walmart we had to pick up another stranger forcing me to sit in the middle of the cab uncomfortably! The stranger even spoke up to the drivers reckless driving. Not to mention the driver was racist, he picked up the phone to talk to someone in Spanish saying he just picked up a couple of yanks. The man did not know that I’m Panamanian and Spanish is my first language. On top of that, we paid more than were promised and the driver that took us back kept cussing because he could not text and drive as much as he wanted due to other cars and traffic lights. We just had an overall terrifying experience.

Well after getting into a run down and dirty car, with no air conditioning I as supposed to be given a fair that is $12 uber but $18-$20 From this company. Meter isn’t running so not sure what the range is about . The driver needs to install Uber because this model is not salvageable.

I just returned from a very good 5 day October experience in Salem MA, and what helped make it so great was Witch City Taxi. We walked a lot around this very interesting little town, but from the Airport pick up to the Airport drop off their services were great and the drivers were friendly. I used them to get around from place to place at least 4 times a day with ease and very fast service. The days were windy and chilly; therefore, with my WhatsApp it was very simple I would write how many passengers we were, where to pick us up, and where we were going. They would write back right away, and let me know how long they would be. Never making us wait more than 5 or 10 minutes depending on how far we were from the actual town of Salem. In Salem they would arrive in less than 5 minutes. I could also call them free on the WhatsApp calls. People, we are talking October the busiest time of the year in Salem. Get the WhatsApp and bingo connect, sit back and enjoy the ride. Yes, most drivers are Latin, but they all speak English very well. If you are a friendly person and want your driver to be the same, open up your positivity don’t blame others for your own negative vibes. Prices were very modest, and they would wait for us if we asked for a very minamal extra charge. You ask them to quote you each ride and stop and no surprises. I highly recommend Witch City Taxi if you are ever in Salem MA.

If I could give zero starts I really would. We had just came out of Walmart and called this taxi. The taxi arrived and a lady was getting ready to go to the taxi so we asked the driver where was he going and he told us the address we gave him. He came out the car ready to unload our bags until the lady started going crazy speaking in Spanish to him. They had a long conversation while we were sitting there in the blazing heat (while I’m pregnant) waiting. After their conversation he told us we had to wait. I called and complained and the person on the other end already KNEW WHY I WAS CALLING, he wasn’t very helpful either saying “you only have to wait a few minutes” why should I have to wait? Then he didn’t want to give me the manager or owners name or number. This lady literally got out ride because she was going crazy in Spanish. I bet if I were Puerto Rican I would’ve gotten my ride.

Honestly terrible for one thing I asked for a taxi to the Salem common but they needed an address so I gave them the hotel address that’s next to the common my friend was in no state to walk so I had to be there to make sure she was ok so I told them when they got there to pull around to the playground area I even told them that my friend was in no condition to walk at all so they drove right pass me when they got to area I was in even when I flagged them down didn’t even come back for us either and the driver was really rude and uncooperative on the phone when I politely tried explaining to him my situation as well so if u ever need to get ur drunk friend home who can’t walk at all don’t call these guys

We used this service to get to Logan Airport. In some reviews there were complaints about the driver not speaking English. Our driver had to call the dispatcher so we could request that he turn down the radio. My husband actually apologised for not speaking Spanish! I gave the guy a big tip along with this advice ‘Learn English por favor’.

We had the taxi pick us up in Salem and needed to go to Dance..so driver rides down Streets thinking we dont know the area...then on purpose was getting lost..just to make extra money... didnt speak English at all

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I was stranded during a blizzard when I was parking my car in the MBTA garage during a parking ban. The driver maybe had to wait three minutes while I looked for a parking spot and then left. After I called, he said something in Spanish that I couldnt understand and hung up on me. I do not ever recommend Witch City Taxi.
