Update 2- Gagles came out and connected our gas line the week after we called. There was lots of confusion as to why it has been missed. Im glad we found the issue sooner, rather than waiting years to buy a gas stove and having no gas!Update-Gagles also put in a gas line so we could install a gas range. When we bought a gas range a couple months later, no gas was coming out of the line. We called and asked them to come out and figure out the problem and made an appointment for a week later. In the meantime I went into the crawl space and found the job had not been fully completed. They ran a line under the house to the range, but it was never tired into the gas line. I will update again later with how this is handled.We had Gargles come and install the works. A new furnace, AC unit and thermostat. After getting 5 different quotes they came in with best offer and had good quality products. We appreciated that they were clear about what was included and we never felt like we were being up sold. They were very knowledgeable and patient while we had to wait for our electrical panel to be upgraded to fire up the AC unit. So far everything has worked out well and installed clean.I would recommend them to friends and family.
I’m very disappointed. I called Gagle after our regular company was a no-show for a scheduled maintenance appointment. They scheduled an appt for maintenance on out heat pump and to give us an estimate on replacing the system (for 3 weeks later). They showed up on time, was courteous, and very knowledgeable. They emailed our estimate options the next day. We made our selection and scheduled an install date which was a month out. I called them the day before to confirm the install was still on and it is a go. I get a call 1/2 hour before the scheduled time. They did not have one part but it had been shipped and someone will call back to reschedule the install. I called them 13 days later to check on the status. They said they would check and get right back to me. No call back in two days. Not very good customer service and follow up.
I highly recommend them, they are so professional . I called them and they came here less than 1 hour. And they did not charge me like evergreen $1,200 for service which they charge me a very low low happy day price.. if anyone has a problem with air conditioning heating and specially plumbing they are the one to call guarantee you. So I can not say enough about this company. During the worst ice storm I have experienced; my furnace was fried due to a power surge.I called Gagle and they came right out. They were professional and extremely friendly. The furnace was fried and 26 years old so I chose to have it replaced instead of fixed. Their price was almost $2000.00 less to install than their competitors. They also filled out the rebate paperwork and saved me another $1500.00. A great company and saved me a ton of money!
When the power outage resulted in our new furnace not coming back on Gagles sent out a technician within 2 hours. He fixed the problems within an hour and restored our heat. Great job, really courteous.
The service tech that came out was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Pricing was great and honest -- my issue turned out to be a very small problem and I was charged a very small amount. Cant recommend them enough.
Highly recommend- Ive used them since 2005 and they have always been great!The service techs are so nice, gives an honest opinion and options if available.Today my heater wasnt working so I called they, made an appointment, they were able to arrive 2 hours earlier (which was so nice since it was now 58°), discovered it was the thermostat was the issue, installed the new one and was done in 1 hour.Brian and Robert were so nice, taught me how to set the thermostat and changed the filter. Now its a warm 69°☺️😊I love their service techs and the office staff are wonderful as well.Thank you for coming early and being so nice!

I was sitting in my own house speaking with the guy.. He twisted my words and said I insulted the company which I also had a witness nearby to prove hes full of it.. I was just agreeing with him that the last person messed up their job, as he said. Therefore, he had to come out and fix somebody elses mistake. I said I was happy he came out and we wanted to see him again. He said I will be back if we have the part to fix it. Didnt bother calling... Just told everyone that it was my fault because I made him so uncomfortable it interfered with doing his job more like an excuse to not come out and work. Thats not right, If a part is warranted by the company, that did not work properly. They are bound by that they have to come out and redo the job. In life, you dont get to choose who you work with. Or your customers Thats not an excuse to come out or not do the job. Or even bother coming back or making an excuse to make me feel uncomfortable in my own home. Sounds like thats more a commission complaint to make on our end if theyre going to continue to not want to redo their job or use me as an excuse. Im just stating how I feel and I have a witness proving that I said what I said and what I did not say. Either he exaggerated or he twisted The Words, which he probably did both. In order to get out of doing his job. You know part of life is dealing with uncomfortable situations and the job Workforce. That to me sounds like just an excuse and it definitely is. But thats not even the tip of the iceberg. One time they came out to fix the job yet again. They promised me that it was only going to cost me $89 total and that was the final charge. The guy said to my face. They leave the house charging my card $289 when I was promised a final price which are $89. I never saw my money back on that deal. At least, They came out finally did their job. Hopefully in the future they communicate better. And not tell lies about the customer.
Gagles came out last fall to address an Air Conditioning Issue we had. They were very prompt and got our 23 year old system back up and running at very little expense even though it needed replacement. It finally gave out this month and being treated so well they were my first call. They gave a list of options to repair or replace and we choose to replace Heater and A/C units. Prices were very competitive and they were very prompt on scheduling the replacement. Their workers were very professional and completed their work in one day taking away the old system, explained the features of the new system, and did a complete clean up. I cant think of how it could have gone better. I recommend their services to anyone whos as fussy as me. Great Job.
You buy an old house you buy its issues. I have found a family business that treats me like family. I will always give them a call first. They keep me well informed on expected life left in my future with this his heating system. They are polite professional. You can all day or night they have an answering service. I suggest them to anyone

Excellent install of a replacement AC unit. Ray came out and worked up the quote. Dan and Tim did the install and Jeff did the start up. All four did an excellent job. They were thorough and did a timely job. The clean up was also excellent. They all showed up at the time I was given. The price was very reasonable. Gagles has never done me wrong. They were there when I needed a heat pump and they were there when I needed all new ducting from a fire. They are prompt and provide the service that I expect. Their technicians have always been available to help me with whatever I needed. They installed a nest thermostat for me even though its not one of the products in their lineup. I never have to mess with a phone tree because they always pick up even after hours and I like that about them.
Nobody likes making service calls or spending money on repairs, but Gagles Heating made every penny worth it. Grant was very professional yet easy going and above all else knowledgeable. I appreciate all the time and hard work! Thanks again!
Great company to do business with. We bought our new furnace and heat pump in 2002 and am very happy with their service. When our A/C stopped working on a very hot day I called at 8am and they had a service tech here by noon. The part was replaced within minutes and our A/C restored for a very reasonable rate. Basking in the glow of a wonderful heating/cooling system installed by professional installers. From start to finish, a truly awesome experience. My system was NOT an easy install, but from quote to clean-up was...may I say, Easy and Painless for me.The only glitch was them forgetting to re-light the pilot on my water heater. A quick phone call and all is right with the world. No harm, no foul. If I **EVER** needed to use this company or refer a friend to this company, I would know that the service level would be top notch.Can you give me a few more stars to add? 5 isnt enough!
❌❌❌ 9/13/18 The worker showed up at our home unscheduled, I told him to leave and Schedule. Then charged $120 for that.Be careful they are scam artists.It is ridiculous they require a two hour scheduling window and are not open on the weekends so people that work have to take off more time than needed. The original problem was not fixed.Luckily, I have everything on video with audio. They also left a part in my sink and did not wear booties to cover dirty boots in my home. I would not recommend or hire again.I wouldn’t recommend.
Asked for a quote. Had to call back several times to inquire about the status. They were absolutely not interested in our business. Very unprofessional. No one returned our calls. Finally got them on the phone and they tell us they wont do the job. Took them 2 weeks to let us know. We have used them several times in the past. No more. Will not be doing business with them again.
I will never use another group of people to trust with heating our house. They are always prompt, kind and honest. Rickey came out and was great. We had issues with their supplier getting the correct part into town and he made every attempt to make sure that while we waited we had what we needed to stay warm. The part came in and it was fixed in about 45 minutes. Thank you!! My family will be a lifetime customer. :)

Answered the telephone quickly and friendly. Grant Gagle arrived on time, swiftly fixed the problem, and was willing to teach me about my furnace. The $140.43 final bill is well within reason for a same day service call, and the deep technical knowledge exhibited. Gagles is my go to contact for HVAC and plumbing, they made a believer of me in one visit.
They never showed up for the appointment and didnt call to explain, apologize, or reschedule. We called another company with immediate response.

After Jet screwed me over (wanting to charge $500 just to get somebody on the roof to look at my chimney) I called up Gagles instead. They came out with an 8-foot step ladder and got up there, checked my chimney, cleaned it out from both on top and below, and got everything up and running again quickly and easily. Definitely recommend them!
Do not trust these people! I called them out when my furnace had a burnt up circuit board. They needed to order the part and give it time to get here. OK, No problem. The tech told me they would call and schedule a time to put it in. Great! So the receptionist calls back on Monday morning to let me know that the price was over 700 dollars and asked me if I still wanted to proceed with the service. I said yes, and asked her how much the part was individually. She didnt want to tell me. She said she only knew the total, and would have to call me back and let me know, but in the meantime the part WOULD be ordered so we scheduled it to be replaced on Friday between 10-2. She never calls. So Thursday comes around and I call just to make sure we are still on for Friday between 10-2 as we scheduled because its getting down to 35 degrees and were cold. This woman tells me...oh, I was just about to call you and let you know how much the part was. She said its not even ordered it yet, and Im not on the schedule at all. So here I am waiting a whole week in 35 degree weather thinking they were going to make good on the appointment that we DID make. Needless to say I got the part number and started calling around to see if anyone else could get this thing in by Friday because I took the day off from work for this. Turns out that the other company I found and used was able to order the part and have it put my furnace on Friday morning at 475 dollars. Pretty big price difference for the same work, but Im just upset with how shady the whole thing was. I wouldnt recommend these people to anyone!
Just wanted to say thank you for your service on our heating and cooling that you all installed at my home in Salem Oregon, and always getting the filters for the unit each time you all came out to check the service warranty 😁
I have used Gagles on a couple occasions. I will never take my business to them ever again.They came out do a pressure test and were rude to my wife. Despite that on another call I had to have a new furnace replaced to the tune of over a thousand dollars and was told that with the new heater and some former electrical work on the old heater the system would be fine.Then on a recent call they said my heat exchanger was bad and they just flipped a switch which was 89 dollars. Said another heat exchanger was another large expense so they lied when they said my system would be fine for 15 or 20 years.This call was not authorized by me as I was out of town and a family member called Gagles.Now they are wanting their 89 dollars, when I called to talk to them I was told the bill stands. Well I might as well pay it but let it be known I do not and will not endorse this business.Heck I even asked if they would split the last service call and take 50% settlement but alas, no was their answer.

They should not be partner with the Energy Trust ofOregon!Gagles came out a few weeks ago to do the Air Flow test and Duct Sealing. He could or would not proceed because there holes in the ceiling from a recent water leak. On the first visit he made it clear he does not like dogs and carries some kind of electronic device to repel them.Once the ceiling was repaired I called to reschedule. This was scheduled to take up to 4 hours on a 1900 sf home.He told me to put my dogs outside, I refused although I tried to keep them away from him. At one point, they came out of the room and he was obviously terrified. He told me to get rid of them and keep them away from him. I told him he was afraid of dogs and the dogs know it, which makes the dogs reaction even more intense. He yelled that he is not afraid of dogs, hes been doing this since 2006 and hes tired of being attacked or bitten by dogs. I suggested another line of work as many households have dogs. He made it clear he is just not capable of working around dogs with their barking and running around.In summary: He did not share the results with me, he did not check the ducts. He was here all of one hour, gave me 10 led bulbs and left.Not done correctly, not impressed and highly recommend you use a different company! Hoping beyond hope that ETO picks this house for his audit!

I called Gagles to come out and diagnose and repair my heat pump. The technician came out and said that the compressor was shot and that the unit would need to be replaced. At that time he said there is no need to pay for the service call since they would be sending a quote for a new unit and if I purchased the unit the service call fee would be waved. I received a quote for a new unit and install for $8000 shortly thereafter. This is a large sum of money for the majority of people. Before making such a large purchase I called another company for a quote. They came out to give me a quote for a new unit, but instead let me know that the unit wasnt getting any juice and the compressor looked ok. They replaced the breaker and the unit is working fine- at a cost of a little more than $100 for parts and labor (i.e. the compressor is working fine, the unit just wasnt getting electricity). The Gagle technician seemed honest and trustworthy, so if I had to guess I would say that it was not intentional that they were trying to sell me a new unit when it wasnt necessary (my unit is grey in the beard, anyway) and that the incorrect diagnosis was a mistake. Some time later (maybe a couple of months or so), I received a bill from Gagles for $89 for the service call. I called and asked if they would stand by their service and drop the service call fee. They informed me that the fee is for coming out to the house and they would not drop the fee. I paid the fee, but I think that the service fee should be for the coming out to the house AND correctly diagnosing my heating and a/c problems. After all, I could pay anyone to come out to my house and give me erroneous information. I called Gagles to find out the problem with my heat pump, not drive out to my house. I will let you decide if it makes sense for the Company to not drop the service fee.....
VERRY HORRIBLE SERVICE!! MAN WHO CAME OUT HAD VERY BAD HYGIENE. RECEPTIONIST IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND NOT HELPFUL WHAT SO EVER! THEY ALSO LIKE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EDERLY AND NOT SO KNOWLEDGEABLE OF HVAC. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!
They came and fixed my water heater in less that 2 hours after getting to my home. they were fairly priced and upfrount with me about the price from the start thanks gagle heating.
