I had never been to a waste recycling center before, but going to Sierra Waste was very easy. Drive in, drive onto the scale, stop at the red light, go on the green. Then one of the workers guides you to a dump spot, gives you a receipt ticket describing what you are dumping and then you drive it up to the exit scale and stop at the window to pay. Simple.

I originally would have given 1 star but... my wife and I went to recycle 4 pieces if cardboard, less than 5lbs, and I had called ahead to see if they would take it (we had no more room in our recycle bin at home). The lady on the phone said they would recycle it. We showed up, drove over the scale, dropped it off and drove out. They said 50 dollars please ... 50 DOLLARS for cardboard. The head manager came out and took care of us. So thank you.

Not bad for regular trash, but tv, couches, tires,mattress (after1)all $40.00 each

Very good place, clean and nice. Reasonable dumping fee.I went there to dump the brushes mixed with some stumps and logs, after passing the scale, one man, who guide the traffic, showed me my unloading spot just right in the front, no need for driving around to get to the proper area.Even when the material stuck on my trailer, the loader operator - very skilled person - helped me the get it unloaded. Everything was quick and easy. Definitely I can recommend this place.

This place is very reasonable price wise, bad side is the tractor drivers dont pay attention and dont care to pay attention. plowing through and around people vehicles, they ran over our equipment and the only thing we got was sorry the guy on the tractor cant see. Why is a tractor even aloud to go next to vehicles. The poor workers are scrambling working and running from tractors. This is definitely a bad accident waiting to happen. This place is dangerous we definitely wont be coming back.

I worked later than usual on a brush removal job, so just for the heck of it I Googled Sierra Waste Sacramento Hours to find out they are open 24hrs! I will be able to get this load off my truck so im ready for tomorrow. I drive all the way out there to find out its locked up tight... nice Thanks a lot Sierra Waste you just cost me double your fees on this one...
