Gate staff arent happy or helpful, but otherwise its all good...its a dump station...what more could you want?

An easy process for residential customers to dump and the benefit of free compost for Elk Grove customers is great!I grew a lot of veggies last year and through the winter with this compost!

I have a contract with them for a multifamily complex.They have been overcharging me 200% since several months, arguing that the trash overflows. no notice, nothing. just picking the money out of my bank account.and when i try to find a solution with a bigger container or more pick up, no one had returned my calls, even after leaving 5 voicemails.Ill check if there are other companies i can replace them with.

Do NOT hire Republic Services for waste pick up! This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with.We notified the company we were closing our account (by the date we were told we needed to by without incurring a cancellation fee). Their Account Rep Tamara Hernandez offered to lower our pickup schedule to 1x a month for the remainder of our term which only had a few months left in it. This was much appreciated, we thought it was a nice gesture.We signed the form for the reduced number of pickups and sent in the cancellation letter by mail as Republic notified we would need to do.After Tamara had us sign the new reduced pickup frequency - and they had received our cancellation letter - we were called immediately and told that the reduced frequency pickup form was ACTUALLY a new 1-yr contract and we couldnt cancel now!!!!!!!We were infuriated that they would trick us in the manner they did, called about 6x until they agreed to pickup the can in July as our original contract stated.According to our original contract, if we cancelled by the date specified on that original contract, there would be not penalty or can pickup charge.This morning I received an email that an invoice was due for $114 to pick up the can!! We called Republic AGAIN and the rep said she didnt have authority to cancel that bill and she would talk to a manager, then get back to us. Just a few hours later they charged the card they had on file for us that $114.This company has the worst customer service and performs the most shady finance scams out there that I know of. Please do NOT sign any of their contracts. Absolutely horrible. If anyone starts a class action lawsuit, please reach out to me!Remove review

I agree with the great location part of all the other reviews. BUT, unless you have a FULL TRUCK worth of junk. Id suggest going somewhere else. This place has a $40 min. charge regardless of what you have. Way over priced!! Remember that alot of what your dumping, is recycled (aka pure profit). No reason to keep raising prices in my eyes.

Phone number to call ahead didnt work. I had a small truck bed of tree limbs and a light clothes dryer and they charged me $85.57. Messed up price.

Live in Elk Grove show your proof of residency ID and Bammm over 5000 lbs of garbage. Free! Once a year!Thank you Sac County!!!
